God’s 11th month, Shevat 3, 5777 - 1/30/2017: To His Way People “hisviewassemblies

As God has planned, so it will be. (Isaiah 46:11-13; “I who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, One who carries out My plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out. Listen to Me, you stubborn people, you who distance yourself from doing what is right. I am bringing My deliverance near, it is not far away; I am bringing My salvation near, it does not wait.

I will save Zion; I will adorn Israel with My splendor.”)

God foreknew the result of His contracting with the Israelites through His servant Moses and shared that result with him. God foreknew the Israelite scattering and His revealing to non-Israelites, ultimately making both one body of believers. Remember the controversy in God’s Jerusalem church over Peter’s taking the gospel to Cornelius? Israelites assumed they were God’s only people and were biased toward gentiles.

As revealed in the last study; “God’s purpose was served when Israel rejected His Way.” Their stubbornness resulted in God’s gifting Gentiles with His gift of repentance. It was God’s secret withheld from His prophets and the heavenly host until His appointed time to reveal it. Now through Jesus’ good news as revealed to His apostles, gentiles can became fellow heirs, “members of the body and fellow partakers of the promises given through Abraham.” Now revealed through Jesus’ apostle Paul. Pray for discernment.

(Ephesians 3:1-8; “For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles – if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that by revelation the divine secret was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly. (4) When reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into this secret of Christ. Now this secret was not disclosed to people in former generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, (6) namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.

(7-9) I “Paul” became a servant of this gospel according to the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by the exercise of His power. To me – less than the least of all the Saints – this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ and to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan – a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things..

(3:10-13; “The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms. This was according to the eternal purpose that He “God the Father” accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access to God because of Christ’s faithfulness. For this reason I ask you not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.”)

Remember Paul’s conversion and what was told Ananias who told Paul his future?

(Acts 9:10-19;” Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias,” and he replied, “Here I am, Lord.” Then the Lord told him, “Get up and go to the street called ‘Straight,’ and at Judas’ house look for a man from Tarsus named Saul. For he is praying, and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him “Paul” so that he may see again.” But Ananias replied, “Lord, I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he has done to your Saints in Jerusalem, and here he has authority from the chief priests to imprison all who call on Your name!” (15) But the Lord said to him, “Go, because this man is My chosen instrument to carry My name before Gentiles and kings and the people of Israel. For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.” So Ananias departed and entered the house, placed his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, and after taking some food, his strength returned.)

Much was revealed to Paul, some things he said couldn’t be spoken about. But now revealed to Believers IN that salvation is through faith in Jesus.

(Ephesians 3:14-21; “For this reason I “Paul” kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on the earth is named. I pray that according to the wealth of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love, you may be able to comprehend with all the Saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”

(20-21; “Now to Him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”)

God’s new spiritual covenant is with spiritual Israelites, “followers of Jesus through gifted faith.” Remember the word “Israel” means “God fights.” All people gifted to understand the deity and characteristics of God the Father and God the Son who desires obedience through Jesus’ imputed faith are God’s Elect. A people Jesus was speaking of when He said, “if possible even the Elect would be deceived.” See Matthew 24:24.

(Ephesians 4:1-6; “I “Paul” therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live worthily of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (4) There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”)

When we believe IN Jesus’ revelations through His apostle Paul there is no room for denominationalism. A methodology of how people can be saved is false assuming.

(Eph 4:7-10; “But to each one of us “followers of Jesus” grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Therefore it says, When He ascended on high He captured captives; He gave gifts to men.” ’See Psalms 68:18’ (9-10; Now what is the meaning of “He ascended,” except that He also descended to the lower regions, namely, the earth? He, the very One who descended, is also the One who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.”

God gives gifts to people! Whether intellectual or spiritual talents, thank God for the giving; there is no room for boasting or arrogance.

(Eph 4:11-13; It was He who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, to equip the Saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God – a mature person, attaining to the measure of Christ’s full stature.”

God does the giving, so we all need to be thankful for our talents.

(Eph 4:14-16; “So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes. (15) But practicing the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ, who is the head. From Him the whole body grows, fitted and held together through every supporting ligament. As each one does its part, the body “church” grows in love.”)

Paul is teaching “the truth” so we may grow up into Christ’s character.

(Eph 4:17; “So I say this, and insist in the Lord, that you no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.”)

Look around and take note of the fact that modern Evangelic denominations practice more gentile traditions today than fifty years ago. Note the evolution of what’s accepted among professing Christians. Speaking of unbelievers Paul continues.

(Eph 4:18-24; They “gentiles or unbelievers” are darkened in their understanding, being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts. Because they are callous, they have given themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. But you ’followers of Jesus’ did not learn about Christ like this, if indeed you heard about Him and were taught in Him, just as the truth is in Jesus. (22) You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires, to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image – in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.”)

Only from and through the truth is God’s Way lived. Both gentile and Israelites live according to the hardness of their hearts until God the Father reveals and calls to His Way. When called out people hear God’s truth they recognize it because they are foreknown and are His sheep. Jesus said it; “But you refuse to believe because you are not My sheep. My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from My Father’s hand. The Father and I are One.” John 10:26-30.)

(Eph 4:25-32; “Therefore, “you gentile followers of Jesus” having laid aside falsehood, each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on the cause of your anger. Do not give the devil an opportunity. The one who steals must steal no longer; rather he must labor, doing good with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with the one who has need. You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk. Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.”) Remember followers of Jesus are called without having done works worthy of His calling. We need to forgive in a similar manner. Thank God for His grace.

God’s Truth versus Satan’s deceptions, chapter 18

God’s 10th month, Tevet 29, 5777 - 1/27/2017: To His Way People “hisviewassemblies”

God’s word teaches, from His perspective “none are good.” See Jeremiah 4:22 and Matt 19:17; He said to him, “Why do you ask Me about what is good? There is only one who is good. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” “Which ones?” he asked. Jesus replied, “Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.”

Paul asked, if God considered some good, “how could God judge the world?” How could we be judged as sinners if some were good? And why not say, “Let us do evil so that good may come of it”? – as some who slander us allege that we say. Paul was defending Jesus’ Word, “all have sinned and come short of the grace of God.“ Because all people have inherited Adam’s sin nature that must be turned from. From these conclusions consider Paul’s understanding and quotes from the Psalms.

(Rom 3:9-18; What then? Are we better off? Certainly not, for we have already charged that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin, just as it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one, there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not even one.” “Their throats are open graves, they deceive with their tongues, the poison of asps is under their lips.” “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood, ruin and misery are in their paths, and the way of peace they have not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”)

Paul is quoting Psalms 14:1-3. 5:9 and 140:3.

Without God’s supernaturally opening understanding. He characterizes us as above.

When God miraculously changes our nature from that described in the verses above, with the imputation of His spirit, we are powered with His gifted desire to spiritually be obedient to Paul’s instructions to the Thessalonians.

(1 Thess 5:15-22; “See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all. Always rejoice, constantly pray, in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not extinguish the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt. But examine all things; hold fast to what is good. Stay away from every form of evil.)

Such believing IN faith comes from God’s fathering those whose names are written in “The Lambs Book of Life.” Those chosen to be in God’s family and in His first resurrection. Lets study Jesus’ Words as revealed to Paul and he to the Ephesians and all Believers IN.

Ephesians 1:1-2; “From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the Saints [in Ephesus] the faithful in Christ Jesus. Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!” )

Only Jesus and His apostles have the authority to say “from God the Father.” Saints are people who are faithful in Christ Jesus. No entity of man has the authority to make a person a saint.

Spiritual Blessings in Christ

(Ephesians 1:3-4; “Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us “followers of Jesus” with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. For He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in His sight in love.”) Paul is writing to those who are called to be believing IN followers of Jesus.

John 10:7-8; “So Jesus said to them again, “I tell you the solemn truth, I am the door for the sheep. All who came before Me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.” Jesus’ sheep listen to Him and believe IN Him.

(John 10:14-18; “I am the good Shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me – just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father – and I lay down My life for the sheep. (16) I have other sheep that do not come from this sheepfold. I must bring them too, and they will listen to My voice, so that there will be one flock and one Shepherd. This is why the Father loves Me – because I lay down My life, so that I may take it back again. No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down of My own free will. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it back again. This commandment I received from My Father.”)

Note that Jesus says, “there is one flock and one Shepherd.“ God the Father and God the Son have preplanned this and the ages to come.

(Ephesians 1:5-10; “He did this by predestining us to adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of His will – to the praise of the glory of His grace that He has freely bestowed on us in His dearly loved Son. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us in all wisdom and insight. (9) He did this when He revealed to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure that He set forth in Christ, toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ – the things in heaven and the things on earth.”)

He revealed the secret of His will! Denominations that claim to believe IN Jesus, yet deny God’s awesomeness to preplan detail, may believe a god exist, “but don’t believe IN God as He manifest Himself to be.” NOW many of these are good from this world’s point of view. Good citizens etc. Many of these live wholesome commendable to the world lives; their error? Teaching their own theory or one as taught them. (When our teaching isn’t individually revealed we are assuming.) Review verse nine above.

NOW WE should understand teaching with authority is why Jesus and His apostles were persecuted and killed. Teaching God’s absolutes with authority has always been hated by those not gifted to understand.

God’s possessions.
(Ephesians 1:11- “In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of Him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His will so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of His glory. And when you heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation) – when you believed in Christ – you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit, who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.”)

What causes a person to set hope on Christ? Where does the desire come from?

Desire for Godly Wisdom and Revelation is gifted.

(Eph 1:15-19; “For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you when I remember you in my prayers. I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of Him, – since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened – so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what is the wealth of His glorious inheritance in the Saints, and what is the incomparable greatness of His power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of His immense strength.”) Growing knowledge of Jesus’ deity with the Father makes for understanding of our inheritance.

(Eph 1:20-23; “This power He “God the Father” exercised in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms far above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. (22) And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and He gave Him to the church as head over all things. Now the church is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”) Each Believer IN is God’s temple.

(1Cor 3:16-17; “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If someone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are.”)

(1Cor 6:19-20; “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.”) THAT PRICE, Jesus’ shed blood.

Each spiritually dead until Individually imputed.

(Ephesians 2:1-3; “And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest.”) Until individually called, we each were living according to what seemed right to our fleshly inherited from Adam nature. That ruler of the kingdom of the air is Satan, who has all but God’s called deceived. See Matthew 24:24.

(Eph 2:4- “But God, “The Father” being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! and He raised us up with Him “Jesus” and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we ‘individually’ are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.”)

In the coming millennial age Saints will be the demonstration Paul is writing about. We and they were dead in transgressions but we were made alive in Christ for God the Father’s purpose.

As Family; New Life Corporately

(Ephesians 2:11-22; “Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh – who are called “un-circumcision” by the so-called “circumcision” that is performed on the body by human hands – that you were at that time without the Messiah, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He ’Jesus’ is our peace, the One who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility, when He nullified in His flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. And He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near, so that through Him we both Israelites and gentiles’ have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer foreigners and non-citizens, but you are fellow citizens with the Saints and members of God’s household, because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Cornerstone. (21) In Him the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you ’followers of Jesus’ also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”)

It was preplanned that Israelite’s fall would work to God’s purpose in reconciling both Israelite and non-Israelite to Himself and they both become one in Christ. Study Romans 11: and note that Israel is the tamed olive branch and non-Israelites the wild olive branch that is to be grafted into to tame and ultimately all be of the same foundation.

(Rom 11:25-36; “For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My ‘God’s’ covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” (28) In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your ‘you gentile’s’ sake, but in regard to election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Just as you were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received mercy due to their ‘Israelites’ disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God has consigned all people to disobedience so that He may show mercy to them all. (33) Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how fathomless His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? Or who has first given to God, that God needs to repay him? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever! Amen.

God’s Truth versus Satan’s deceptions, chapter 17

Monday, January 23rd, 2017

God’s 10th month, Tevet 25, 5777 - 1/23/2017: To His Way People “hisviewassemblies”

God’s Church is His family, His kingdom and His children are “heirs with Abraham.” Jesus’ ambassadors are today and in His millennial reign will be assisting according to His will. The assignments of Jesus’ twelve apostles have been given. (Luke 22:28-30; “You “apostles” are the ones who have remained with Me in My trials. Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as My Father granted to Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”)

(Matthew 19:27-30; Then Peter said to Him, “Look, we have left everything to follow You! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth: In the age when all things are renewed, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (29) And whoever has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”) Many called in this latter age will be first! Denominations thinking methodology, in terms of receiving salvation aren’t Believers IN. The same Jesus that made these promises to His apostles and we Believers, also revealed His prophecies to Isaiah.

Isaiah 14:24; The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow: “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen.”

Isaiah 46:8-13; “Remember this, so you can be brave! Think about it, you rebels! Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like Me, who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’ who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out My plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out. (12) Listen to Me, you stubborn people, you who distance yourself from doing what is right. I am bringing My deliverance near, it is not far away; I am bringing My salvation near, it does not wait. I will save Zion; I will adorn Israel with My splendor.”) Remember God planned Israel’s deliverance.

Exodus 12:40-42; “Now the length of time the Israelites lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of the 430 years, on the very day, all the regiments of the Lord went out of the land of Egypt. It was a night of vigil for the Lord to bring them out from the land of Egypt, and so on this night all Israel is to keep the vigil to the Lord for generations to come.” Israel’s deliverance was a foreshadowing of our being delivered from sin through Jesus. It is all about God the Father and God the Son’s planning for His children and this world. He that inspired Moses and Isaiah’s writing inspired His apostle John’s pen.

1John 2:1-4; (My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.) But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous One, and He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world. (3) Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep His commandments. The one who says “I have come to know God” and yet does not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in such a person.”

God’s ten commandments are given for good to His people, especially when we keep them because we love God and one another. During Jesus’ coming millennial kingdom all people will learn to respect His ten commandments. The righteous will love one another and God’s Way for it’s goodness. Keeping God’s commandments from a pureness gifted love outlook “results in conformity to Paul’s inspired teaching.”

Phil 2:6-7; “You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though He existed in the form of God did not regard equality with Go

as something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking on the form of a slave,

by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.”

The expression the likeness of men is similar to Paul’s wording in Rom 8:3 (“in the likeness of sinful flesh”). The same word “likeness” is used in both passages. It implies that there is a form that does not necessarily correspond to reality. In Rom 8:3, the meaning is that Christ looked like sinful humanity. Here the meaning is similar: Jesus looked like other men (note anqrwpoi), but was in fact different from them in that he did not have a sin nature. The point being “Christ looked just like other men, but He was not like other men.” (He was not sinful), He was fully human with God’s spirit imputed to His mind. Thus Jesus was obedient from a loving respect of His and our Father.

(Phil 2:8-11; “He humbled Himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross! As a result God exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth – (11) and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.”

Not only is Jesus The Son of God, He is our Lord, Savior, High Priest and Pioneer showing us the way.

Heb 4:14-16; “Therefore since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.”

Heb 5:1-10; “For every high priest is taken from among the people and appointed to represent them before God, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. He is able to deal compassionately with those who are ignorant and erring, since He also is “was” subject to weakness, and for this reason He is obligated to make sin offerings for Himself as well as for the people. And no one assumes this honor on his own initiative, but only when called to it by God, as in fact Aaron was. (5) So also Christ did not glorify Himself in becoming high priest, but the One who glorified Him was God, who said to Him, “You are My Son! Today I have fathered you,” as also in another place God says, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.” (quote from Psalms 110:4)

(7) During His earthly life Christ offered both requests and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the One who was able to save Him from death and He was heard because of His devotion. (8) Although He was a son, He learned obedience through the things He suffered. And by being perfected in this way, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, and He was designated by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek.” (Jesus served as Melchizedek during Abraham’s day.)

John 3:16; “For this is the way God “the Father” loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” The called must understand that believing IN constitutes a desire to obey.

God the Father calls and gives those He calls over to Jesus

John 17:1-3; “When Jesus had finished saying these things, He looked upward1 to heaven and said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify You – just as you have given Him authority over all humanity, so that He may give eternal life to everyone You have given Him. (3) Now this is eternal life – that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You sent.”

Now we can’t know God the Father and Jesus Christ until their characteristics are supernaturally revealed. Until we understand the family’s righteousness and holiness.

(John 17:4-5; “I glorified You on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. And now, Father, glorify Me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.” To believe IN we must understand the deity and lordship of Jesus!

(17:6-19; “I have revealed Your name to the men You gave Me out of the world. They belonged to You, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed Your word. Now they understand that everything you have given Me comes from You, because I have given them the words You have given Me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me. (9) I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given Me, because they belong to You. Everything I have belongs to You, and everything You have belongs to Me, and I have been glorified by them. (11) I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them safe in Your name ‘nature’ that you have given Me, so that they may be One just as we are One. When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that You have given Me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled. But now I am coming to You, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience My joy completed in themselves. I have given them Your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. (15) I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but that You keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world. (17) Set them apart in the truth; your word is truth. Just as You sent Me into the world, so I sent them into the world. And I set Myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart ‘sanctified.’)

Rejoice if the world hates you because of your living His Way.

God’s 10th month, Tevet 23, 5777 - 1/21/2017: To His Way People “hisviewassemblies”

Prior to Jesus’ fleshly life He was and IS Creator, The Alpha and Omega.

The Elohim of God the Father. The Lord God of old divested Himself and was begotten by God the Father in Mary. He subjected Himself to the same temptations as we have, but without sin. Without yielding to lawlessness. Jesus gave Himself to be God the Father’s special, unique Lamb of God.

John 1:1-5; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. Word4 was with God in the beginning. All things were created by Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. In Him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.”) The Greeks attempting to rationalize how He could have created. Followers of Jesus know Him as Creator, Re-Creator, Sustainer, now our Mediator and soon coming King of Kings. When we look at the vastness of space, we know it is sustained by a supernatural power.

A translator’s explanation of beginning follows.

In the beginning. The search for the basic “stuff” out of which things are made was the earliest one in Greek philosophy. It was attended by the related question of “What is the process by which the secondary things came out of the primary one (or ones)?,” or in Aristotelian terminology, “What is the ‘beginning’ (same Greek word “beginning” John 1:1) and what is the origin of the things that are made?” In the New Testament the word usually has a temporal sense, “the first cause.” For John, the words “In the beginning” are most likely a conscious allusion to the opening words of Genesis – “In the beginning.” Other concepts which occur prominently in Gen 1 are also found in John’s prologue: “life” (1:4) “light” (1:4) and “darkness” (1:5). Gen 1 describes the first (physical) creation; John 1 describes the new (spiritual) creation. But this is not to play off a false dichotomy between “physical” and “spiritual”; the first creation was both physical and spiritual. The new creation is really a re-creation, of the spiritual (first) but also the physical. (In spite of the common understanding of John’s “spiritual” emphasis, the “physical” re-creation should not be overlooked; this occurs in John 2 with the changing of water into wine, in John 11: with the resurrection of Lazarus, and the emphasis of John 20:-21: on the aftermath of Jesus’ own resurrection. Remember graves were opened and many Saints came forth and witnessed.”)

Jesus revealed His deity and powers to Paul who shares with the Colossians, Hebrews and all Believers. Know too; Jesus’ spiritually delivering His Sheep from the power of darkness is as miraculous as His creating visible from invisible.

Col 1:14-20; “He “God the Father” delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (15) He, “God the Son” is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him. He Himself is before all things and all things are held together ’sustained’ in Him. (18) He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things. For God ’The Father’ was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”) Knowing these things through revelation differentiates “Believers IN from believers that.”

(Hebrews 1:1-4; “After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, in these last days He has spoken to us in a Son, whom He ’God the Father’ appointed heir of all things, and through whom He created the world. The Son is the radiance of His glory and the representation of His essence, and He sustains all things by His powerful Word, and so when He had accomplished cleansing for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Thus He became so far better than the angels as He has inherited a name superior to theirs.”)

Heb 2:9-14; “For when He put all things under His ’Jesus’ control, He left nothing outside of His control. At present we do not yet see all things under His control, but we see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by God’s grace He would experience death on behalf of everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For indeed he who makes holy and those being made holy all have the same origin, and so He is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters, saying, “I will proclaim your name to My brothers; in the midst of the assembly I will praise You.” Again He says, “I will be confident in Him,” and again, “Here I am, with the children God ’the Father’ has given Me.” Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He likewise shared in their humanity, so that through death He could destroy the one who holds the power of death (that is, the devil), and set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death. For surely His concern is not for angels, but He is concerned for Abraham’s descendants.”)

Pioneer of our salvation made perfect through suffering.

The Greek word translated “pioneer” is used of a “prince” or leader, the representative head of a family. It also carries nuances of “trailblazer,” one who breaks through to new ground for those who follow Him. The same word is used some thirty-five times in the Greek Old Testament and four times in the New Testament, always of Christ (See Acts 3:15; 5:31; Heb 2:10 and 12:2). As head of His church Jesus reveals God the Father, Himself and His Way.

Romans 5:8-11; “But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners “still in our lawless nature” Christ died for us. Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from God’s wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by His life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.”)

Being gifted to believe IN is to have God’s desire to lovingly obey Him.

Rom 8:1-30; “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death. (3) For God achieved what the law could not do because it “the law” was weakened through the flesh. By sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the righteous requirement of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

5-7; “For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.”)

Submit is key. From our fleshly nature submission goes against the selfish will. From within God’s gifted spiritual nature is the desire to please our Creator.

8-11; “Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You “believers IN Jesus” however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to Him. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of “Jesus’” righteousness. Moreover if the Spirit of the One “God the Father” who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the One who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through His Spirit who lives in you.”)

Not that this Romans text isn’t sufficient enough, Paul also taught, (2Cor 13:5; “Put yourselves to the test to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize regarding yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you – unless, indeed, you fail the test!.”

Rom 8:12-13; “So then, brothers and sisters, we “followers of Jesus” are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh (for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body “nature inherited from Adam” you will live.”)

Repentance is gifted recognition of our inherited nature and a gifted desire to turn.

14-16; “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit itself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children.”)

Do we recognize the gifted desire to be submissive to His will? Do we recognize gifted revelations? How else are we able to examine ourselves?

17-19; “And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with Him so we may also be glorified with Him. For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared to the glory that will be revealed to us. For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.’)

All followers of Jesus suffer the consequence of not being part and partial with this world’s system of things. The consequence of being thought of as peculiar to the many.

20-23; “For the creation was subjected to futility – not willingly but because of God who subjected it – in hope that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers together until now. Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies.”) Believers IN are looking forward to the resurrection of our bodies in the likeness of Jesus’.

24-30; “For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit itself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. And

God who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the Saints according to God’s will. (28) And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose, because those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that His Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those He predestined, He also called; and those He called, He also justified; and those He justified, He also glorified.”) SO NO ONE CAN BOAST!

God’s Truth versus demonic deception, chapter 15.

God’s 10th month, Tevet 17, 5777 - 1/19/2017: To His Way People “hisviewassemblies”

Through the power of God’s Holy Spirit His love is perfected in us. As we yield He develops His character in us. Keeping us on His potters wheel for shaping us to His likeness. This was His ultimate plan when Adam was created. Jesus is holy, a spirit being, full of grace and mercy. Jesus is supreme, glorious, divine, and sovereign ruler with God the Father of this universe.

Gen 1:26; Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth.”

Our physical forms are created in God’s image, His likeness in us is being perfected as we grow in grace and knowledge. It’s the mystery belief by faith, not obtainable to those who aren’t Jesus’ Sheep. Jesus’ Sheep are those whose names are written in “the Book of the Lamb.” Prophecy were given to Daniel for our understanding that a time of judgment is coming.

Daniel 7:9-10; “While I “Daniel” was watching, thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days “ “One who had been living for ever” “the Eternal God.” took His seat. His attire was white like snow; the hair of His head was like lamb’s wool. His throne was ablaze with fire and its wheels were all aflame. (10) A river of fire was streaming forth, proceeding from His presence. Many thousands were ministering to Him; Many tens of thousands stood ready to serve Him. The court convened and the books were opened.”

The Psalmist believed and was given the same revelation as recorded in Genesis 1:

(Psalms 8:1-9; “O Lord, our Lord, how magnificent4 is your reputation throughout the earth! You reveal Your majesty in the heavens above! From the mouths of children and nursing babies You have ordained praise on account of Your adversaries, so that You might put an end to the vindictive enemy. (3) When I look up at the heavens, which Your fingers made, and see the moon and the stars, which You set in place, Of what importance is the human race, that You should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that You should pay attention to them and make them a little less than the heavenly beings?

You grant mankind honor and majesty; You appoint them to rule over Your creation;

You have placed everything under their authority, including all the sheep and cattle, as well as the wild animals, the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea and everything that moves through the currents of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how magnificent is Your reputation throughout the earth!” (Through His revelations and teachings we are still growing in the likeness of God.) Revealed to Isaiah too.

Isaiah 40:12-14; “Who has measured out the waters in the hollow of His hand, or carefully measured the sky, or carefully weighed the soil of the earth, or weighed the mountains in a balance, or the hills on scales? Who comprehends the mind of the Lord,

or gives Him instruction as His counselor? From whom does He receive directions? Who teaches Him the correct way to do things, or imparts knowledge to Him, or instructs Him in skillful design?

(40:15-18; “Look, the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales. He lifts the coastlands as if they were dust. Not even Lebanon could supply enough firewood for a sacrifice; its wild animals would not provide enough burnt offerings. All the nations are insignificant before Him; they are regarded as absolutely nothing. To whom can you compare God? To what image can you liken Him?

(40:19-20; “A craftsman casts an idol; a metal smith overlays it with gold and forges silver chains for it. To make a contribution one selects wood that will not rot; he then seeks a skilled craftsman to make an idol that will not fall over.

(40:21-24; “Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told to you since the very beginning? Have you not understood from the time the earth’s foundations were made? He is the One who sits on the earth’s horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before Him. He is the One who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent. He is the One who reduces rulers to nothing; He makes the earth’s leaders insignificant. Indeed, they are barely planted; yes, they are barely sown; yes, they barely take root in the earth, and then He blows on them, causing them to dry up, and the wind carries them away like straw.

(40:25-26; “To whom can you compare Me? Whom do I resemble?” says the Holy One. Look up at the sky! Who created all these heavenly lights? He is the One who leads out their ranks; He calls them all by name. Because of His absolute power and awesome strength, not one of them is missing.

(40:27- “Why do you say, Jacob, Why do you say, Israel, “The Lord is not aware of what is happening to me, My God is not concerned with my vindication”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is an eternal God, the creator of the whole earth.

He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to His wisdom. He gives strength to those who are tired; to the ones who lack power, He gives renewed energy. Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. But those who wait for the Lord’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.”)

The lesson? Look to our Creator, wait on revelation rather than seek a denomination that fits the comfort zone of this world’s system of things. God went on to reveal and Isaiah recorded that God’s mercy is reliable.

(Isaiah 57:15-16; “For this is what the high and exalted One says, the One who rules forever, whose name is holy: “I dwell in an exalted and holy place, but also with the discouraged and humiliated, in order to cheer up the humiliated and to encourage the discouraged. (16) For I will not be hostile forever or perpetually angry, for then man’s spirit would grow faint before Me, the life-giving breath I created.

(57:17-19; “I was angry because of their sinful greed; I attacked them and angrily rejected them, yet they remained disobedient and stubborn. I have seen their behavior, but I will heal them and give them rest, and I will once again console those who mourn. I am the one who gives them reason to celebrate. Complete prosperity is available both to those who are far away and those who are nearby says the Lord, “and I will heal them.”) What a future in store and not of mankind’s doing, but in spite of. The Psalmist has more to reveal.

Psalms 19:1-7; “The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky displays His handiwork. Day after day it speaks out; night after night it reveals His greatness. There is no actual speech or word, nor is its voice literally heard. Yet its voice echoes throughout the earth;

its words carry to the distant horizon. In the sky He has pitched a tent for the sun. (5) Like a bridegroom it emerges from its chamber; like a strong man it enjoys running its course. It emerges from the distant horizon, and goes from one end of the sky to the other; nothing can escape its heat. (7) The law of the Lord is perfect and preserves one’s life.

The rules set down by the Lord are reliable and impart wisdom to the inexperienced.”)

May we realize our fragility and rid ourselves of arrogant vanity. May Satan’s purpose be revealed to us and may we despise his deceitful ways. Now let us notice that Jesus revealed the same to John, He had revealed to Daniel and Isaiah.

Revelations 1:12-16; “I turned to see whose voice was speaking to me, and when I did so, I saw seven golden lampstands “churches” and in the midst of the lampstands was one like a son of man. He was dressed in a robe extending down to His feet and He wore a wide golden belt around his chest. His head and hair were as white as wool, even as white as snow, and His eyes were like a fiery flame. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters. He held seven stars “angels” in His right hand, and a sharp double-edged sword extended out of His mouth. His face shone like the sun shining at full strength.”

Rev 1:17-20; When I saw Him I fell down at His feet as though I were dead, but He placed His right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last, and the One who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive – forever and ever – and I hold the keys of death and of Hades! (grave - or underworld, all of which are under Jesus’ control.) Therefore write what you saw, what is, and what will be after these things. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and the seven golden lamp stands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven lamp stands are the seven churches.”) It’s spiritual revelations, when people attempt to understand it all through their fleshly rational, through theology, personal intellect etc, many theories are developed.

(John 4:23-26; Jesus said; “But a time is coming – and now is here – when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and the people who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (the one called Christ); “whenever He comes, He will tell us everything.” Jesus said to her, “I, the One speaking to you, am He.”) He is coming back and John reveals a love beyond the natural fleshly concerning love He gives people.

1John 4:7-10; “Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been fathered by God and knows God. The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love. By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent His one and only Son into the world so that we may live through Him. (10) In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.”) Paul reveals God’s awesomeness in predestining us to adoption as His literal children.

Ephesians 1:3-6; “Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. For He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in His sight in love. He did this by predestining us to adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of His will – (6) to the praise of the glory of His grace that He has freely bestowed on us in His dearly loved Son.”)

How did we learn the secret of His will?

(verses 9-10; “He did this when He revealed to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure that He set forth in Christ, toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ – the things in heaven and the things on earth.”)

Did Paul think himself worthy? Did he value his previous fleshly education?

Eph 3:9-21; “To me “Paul“– less than the least of all the saints – this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ and to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan – a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things. (10) The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms. This was according to the eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access to God because of Christ’s faithfulness. For this reason I ask you not to lose heart because of what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.

(14-21; For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on the earth is named. I pray that according to the wealth of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you have been rooted and grounded in love, you may be able to comprehend with all the Saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”) Let’s close this study with another jewel from Paul.

Rom 1:20; “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible attributes – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.”

God’s 10th month, Tevet 15, 5777 - 1/17/2017: To His Way People “hisviewassemblies”

Jesus shares why He spoke to the populations at large in parables. (Matthew 13:10-11; Then the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” He replied, “You ’disciples’ have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.”) Likewise Jesus explained why the many didn’t understand. (John 10:26-30; “But you refuse to believe because you are not My sheep. My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from My Father’s hand. The Father and I are One.”) God the Father and God the Son are One in purpose.

We need to understand God’s awesomeness is much higher than human intellect’s ability to comprehend. God’s future planning for His family kingdom has no end. His way is to give understanding to whom He chooses. His purpose is to add family. He shared these things with His prophets, apostles and those He calls.

Isaiah 28:9-11; Who is the Lord trying to teach? To whom is He explaining a message? Those just weaned from milk? Those just taken from their mother’s breast? Indeed, they will hear meaningless gibberish, senseless babbling, a syllable here, a syllable there. (11) For with mocking lips and a foreign tongue He will speak to these people.

(12-18; In the past He said to them, “This is where security can be found. Provide security for the one who is exhausted! This is where rest can be found.” But they refused to listen. So the Lord’s word to them will sound like meaningless gibberish, senseless babbling, a syllable here, a syllable there. As a result, they will fall on their backsides when they try to walk, and be injured, ensnared, and captured. (14) Therefore, listen to the Lord’s word, you who mock, you rulers of these people who reside in Jerusalem! For you say, “We have made a treaty with death, with Sheol ’underworld’ we have made an agreement. When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by it will not reach us. For we have made a lie our refuge, we have hidden ourselves in a deceitful word.” Therefore, this is what the sovereign master, the Lord, says: “Look, I am laying a stone in Zion, an approved stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. The one who maintains His faith will not panic. I will make justice the measuring line, fairness the plumb line; hail will sweep away the unreliable refuge, the floodwaters will overwhelm the hiding place. Your treaty with death will be dissolved; your agreement with Sheol will not last. When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by, you will be overrun by it.” As always, study the whole text.

Paul shared the same result for disobedience

(Romans 1:18-20; “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness, because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes – His eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse. (21-23; “For although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give Him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles.”

Where people and denominations are today

(24-25; “Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.” (26-32; “For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents, senseless, covenant-breakers, heartless, ruthless. (32) Although they fully know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.”) It began with Satan’s lies, Adam and Eve’s preferring to trust what seemed right to their fleshly rationale.

God’s characteristics are revealed and His spirit imputed to His chosen.

(Proverbs 1:1-4 “The Proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: (2) To learn wisdom and moral instruction, and to discern wise counsel. To receive moral instruction in skillful living, in righteousness, justice, and equity. To impart shrewdness to the morally naive, and a discerning plan to the young person.”)

(Prov 22:18-19; “For it is pleasing if you keep these sayings within you, and they are ready on your lips. So that your confidence may be in the Lord, I am making them known to you today – even you.”)

(1Cor 14:37-40; “If anyone considers himself a prophet or spiritual person, he should acknowledge that what I ’Paul” write to you is the Lord’s command. If someone does not recognize this, he is not recognized. So then, brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy “teach” and do not forbid anyone from speaking in tongues “other languages.” And do everything in a decent and orderly manner.”)

That Cornerstone “Jesus” inspired Paul to write about resurrections and salvation.

1Corinthians 15:12-19; “Now if Christ is being preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is futile and your faith is empty. Also, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified against God that He raised Christ from the dead, when in reality He did not raise Him, if indeed the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins. (18) Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished. For if only in this life we have hope in Christ, we should be pitied more than anyone.

(20-23; “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep ‘in Christ.’ For since death came through a man, ’Adam’ the resurrection of the dead also came through a man ’Jesus.’ (22) For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him.

Jesus’ prophecy through Paul jumps forward about one thousand years.

(24-28; “Then comes the end, (age end) when He ’Jesus’ hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For He ’Jesus’ must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death. (27) For He ’God the Father’ has put everything in subjection under His ’Jesus’ feet. But when it says “everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the One God the Father’ who put everything in subjection to Him ‘Jesus.’ And when all things are subjected to Him ‘God the Father’ then the Son Himself will be subjected to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.” (Study the whole, for our purpose here skip to verse 42.)

From perishable flesh to imperishable spirit.

(1Corinthians 15:42-49; “It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. (45) So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; (living soul”; quote from Gen 2:7. “The Lord God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. The Hebrew term נֶפֶשׁ (nefesh, “being”) is often translated “soul,” but the word refers to the whole person.)

the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man ’Adam’ is from the earth, made of dust; the second man ‘Jesus’ is from heaven. (48) Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.”)

God’s ultimate purpose, His spiritual family.

(1Corinthians.15:50-58; “Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” (Paul quoting from Isaiah 25:8 and Hosea 13:14)

(56) The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! (58) So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”) To the Philippi church and all Believers IN Paul added.

(Phil 3:20-21; But our citizenship is in heaven – and we also await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform these humble bodies of ours into the likeness of His glorious body by means of that power by which He is able to subject all things to Himself.”) God’s creating included His forming the human spirit.

(Zach 12:1 The revelation of the word of the Lord concerning Israel: The Lord – He who stretches out the heavens and lays the foundations of the earth, who forms the human spirit within a person.”

Jesus made a blood sacrifice covenant once for all. Passover and animal blood sacrifices looked forward to Jesus sacrificing His life blood for the sins of the world.

(Hebrews 9:25-28; “And Jesus did not enter to offer Himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the sanctuary year after year with blood that is not his own, for then He ’Jesus” would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the consummation of the ages to put away sin by His sacrifice. And just as people are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await Him He will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.”)

As promised Adam and Eve for disobedience, “all people are appointed to die once, then face judgment.” Jesus revealed more to John and we Believers.

Rev 21:5-8; And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new!” Then He said to me, “Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.” He also said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of life. The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”)

Remember Paul’s words at 1Corinthians 15:22; “For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him.” (Who will die a second death?)

Believers knowing Jesus’ message regarding immortality and His seven annual Sabbath foreshadowing’s can bring spiritual understanding forward. God’s covenant promises through Abraham, Isaac and Israel are eternal and Jesus’ gifted faith is ours.

New Jerusalem is God’s beacon “an eternal source of inspiration. Its twelve gates named for the twelve tribes of Israel and its twelve foundations for the twelve apostles of the Lamb. What an awesome contemplation to meditate on, knowing Satan and his followers will then be no more.

New Jerusalem for those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

(Revelations 21:22-27; “Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God – the All-Powerful – and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it. Its gates will never be closed during the day (and there will be no night there).(26) They ’the nations’ will bring the grandeur and the wealth of the nations into it, but nothing ritually unclean will ever enter into it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or practices falsehood, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”)
