Grace, mercy and love, chapter 4

Thursday, May 11th, 2017

5/11/17, God’s 2nd month, Iyar 14, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,433 “in resident churches” and individuals “called to follow Jesus.” (Observe a full moon tonight.)

God the Father began giving His Son for the remission of sin before the re-creation of this earth and life, including Adam and Eve. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega.

Some of what may be speculation in this chapter was revealed to Jesus’ apostles. Particularly to John in, “Jesus’ revelations to John” and Peter.

2Peter 3:3-7; “Above all, understand this: In the last days blatant scoffers will come, being propelled by their own evil urges and saying, “Where is His promised return? For ever since our ancestors died, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation.” (5) For they deliberately suppress this fact, that by the word of God, heavens existed long ago and an earth was formed out of water and by means of water. Through these things the world existing at that time was destroyed when it was deluged with water. (7) But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, by being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.”)

Peter’s prophecy jumps beyond final judgment and beyond New Jerusalem’s coming.

(2Peter 3:8-13; Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day. (9) The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because He does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. (10) But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; when it comes, the heavens will disappear with a horrific noise, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze, and the earth and every deed done on it will be laid bare. Since all these things are to melt away in this manner, what sort of people must we be, conducting our lives in holiness and godliness, while waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God? Because of this day, the heavens will be burned up and dissolve, and the celestial bodies will melt away in a blaze! But, according to His promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness truly resides.”)

All began with God and His plan.

(Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Beginning? (A beginning?)The referent of the word “beginning” has to be defined from the context since there is no beginning or ending with God. Verse two tells us the earth existed, but without shape and empty. Something happened before this Re-creation.

(Gen 1:2 “Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water.”

This planet known as “earth” was covered by water and darkness at the time of Jesus’ re-creation. The New Testament Holy Scriptures reveal other records of Jesus re-creating. Creator Jesus re-created fish and bread feeding thousands at least twice. Jesus created aged wine from water. Jesus resurrected Lazarus after being dead four days and others through His apostle. Through Moses Jesus did many miracles demonstrating His re-creative powers, including creating water from within a rock. Jesus had Isaiah prophecy about Satan’s fall and revealed spiritual warring at a previous time. Did spiritual warfare and judgment of Satan cause this earth to become void? Jesus told His disciples that He saw Satan fall like lightning. See Luke 10:18. Consider why God made a covenant with Noah and all living, regarding another flood.

Gen 9:12-17; And God said, “This is the guarantee of the covenant I am making with you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all subsequent generations: I will place My rainbow in the clouds, and it will become a guarantee of the covenant between Me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, (15) then I will remember My covenant with you and with all living creatures of all kinds. Never again will the waters become a flood and destroy all living things. When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will notice it and remember the perpetual covenant between God and all living creatures of all kinds that are on the earth.” So God said to Noah, “This is the guarantee of the covenant that I am confirming between Me and all living things that are on the earth.”)

Allow some speculation; the Holy Scriptures reveals much about what is written in this chapter, however some detail is left to faith speculation.

Obviously this earth was flooded when Jesus’ re-creation began. Remember our studies of Hebrews 1:, John 1:1-5 and Colossians 1:15-20, confirming that all things were created by Jesus. So called pre-historic life, ‘dinosaurs etc’ were destroyed in the flood preceding the Noah day flood and all but Noah and family in the last.

We Believers IN God the Father and God the Son, have knowing faith regarding creation and re-creation. We know God has made a perpetual covenant with His earth regarding it’s relationship with Him and His sun.

 Re-creation.

(Gen 1:3-5; God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light! God saw that the light was good, so God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day” and the darkness “night.” There was evening, and there was morning, marking the first day.”

God the Father so loved God the Son that He willed; all things be created by, for and through Him. He planned and willed that Jesus become our sacrifice for the remission of sin, “mankind’s lawless practices.” God foreknew mankind’s nature and Satan’s influences on people’s sinful beliefs and practices. Jesus as Lord God Creator, Re-creator and Sustainer, created and communed with Adam and Eve.

(Before Adam and Eve committed lawlessness; God the Father and God the Son knew and allowed Satan’s purpose in deceiving them through their fleshly nature.) Even then God the Father was planning “the way” for a family relationship with Himself through Jesus. So, by God the Father’s grace, mercy and love it was preplanned that Creator ‘Jesus’ would become flesh, put on the nature of mankind and shed His blood so lawlessness could be forgiven to those called to believe IN.

God’s selecting and making friendship dealings with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and David, all looked forward to Abraham’s seed, ‘descendents’ inheriting eternal life through the Son of God’s blood sacrifice.

After creating and re-creating the earth and heavenly expanse by His energizing Holy Spirit, it was apparently Spokesman Jesus that said; “Let Us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth.”

(Gen 1:27-31; “God created humankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them, male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply! Fill the earth and subdue it! Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that moves on the ground.” (29) Then God said, “I now give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the entire earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. (30) And to all the animals of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to all the creatures that move on the ground – everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food.” It was so. God saw all that He had made – and it was very good! There was evening, and there was morning, the sixth day.”) Knowing that the Creator God is Jesus, is the foundation for knowing faith.

(Gen 2:1-3; “The heavens and the earth were completed with everything that was in them. By the seventh day God ‘Jesus’ finished the work that He had been doing, and He ceased on the seventh day all the work that He had been doing. God ‘Jesus’  blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on it He ceased all the work that He had been doing in creation.”

(Gen 2:4; This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created – when the Lord God made the earth and heavens.”)

Three things people aren’t able to change (1) the timing of the new moon’s appearance, (2) the seven day week cycle and (3) it’s Creator God’s prerogative to say what is right, wrong, good and evil.

(Gen 2:8; “The Lord God planted an orchard in the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man He had formed. The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow from the soil, every tree that was pleasing to look at and good for food. (Now the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were in the middle of the orchard.)

(Gen 2:15-17; “The Lord God took the man and placed him in the orchard in Eden to care for it and to maintain it. Then the Lord God commanded the man, “You may freely eat fruit from every tree of the orchard, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die.”)

Jesus, in effect is saying; “it is for your own good that you look to Me for knowledge regarding what’s good and evil. Now remember angelic beings, including Satan is Jesus’ creation. Before Satan’s rebellion He had been a loyal angel, but when deceit overcame him, he became the devil. Jesus knew how Satan would work on Adam and Eve and that result.

  Consider Adam’s gifted intellect.

(Gen 2:18-25; “The Lord God ‘Jesus’ said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion for him who corresponds to him.” The Lord God formed out of the ground every living animal of the field and every bird of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them, and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. (20) So the man named all the animals, the birds of the air, and the living creatures of the field, but for Adam no companion who corresponded to him was found. (21) So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was asleep, He took part of the man’s side and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the part He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man. (23) Then the man said, “This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.“ (24) That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife, and they become a new family. The man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed.”)

Before the foundation of this earth, God preplanned “the way” in which we could inherit immortality and be members of His family.

Grace, mercy and love, chapter 3

5/9/17, God’s 2nd month, Iyar 12, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,426 “in resident churches” and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

How can people worship in spirit and truth without knowing God’s truth and be gifted with His Holy Spirit? How can we know His truth, except it be revealed? Does the holy scriptures give any hint that people can understand spiritual truths from within their fleshly intellect? Even if they could; where does the desire to be “at one: with God come from? That is, the gifted desire to be holy because He is holy, be righteous because He is righteous and love His holy loving ways because we love Him?

(1John 4:19; ‘We love because He loved us first.” We have Godly love because God the Father called, gave us to understand His characteristics and gave the desire to love Him in return.” This truth is revealed in the following text to people called to be Believers IN.

(1John 4:15-10; “If anyone confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God. And we have come to know and believe the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in ‘Godly’ love resides in God, and God resides in him. (17) By this ‘Godly’ love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in ‘Godly’ love, but perfect ‘Godly’ love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears punishment has not been perfected in ‘Godly’ love. (19) We love because He loved us first.”) Review chapter one and 1Corinthians 13: Consider the difference in animalistic love and Godly love. Know that fleshly love is prone to wax cold, is divided and  likely to love less by comparison those who aren’t like minded.

God is love and His is the only truth. The world looks to many imaginary gods, even making Jesus and God the Father fit evolving views; but Believers IN know the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and David, is the same Lord Jesus, who delivered Israel from Egypt and delivers His followers to His truth. (Understanding that God the Father called and loved us first, by revealing Jesus and Himself, “is His calling.”) Understanding spiritual matters can’t be conjured up from within the fleshy mind, as theological denominational minded schools teach.

Called individually from death to life.

(Ephesians 2:1-10; “And although you ‘followers of Jesus’ were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air ‘Satan’ the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest. (4) But God ‘the Father’ being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! – and He raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, (7) to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (8) For by grace you are saved through ‘God gifted’ faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; (9) it is not from works, so that no one can boast. (10) For we ‘followers of Jesus’ are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.”)

Until such time that God’s loving characteristics are revealed to our minds and we repent for having lived the way that seemed right, we are each heirs of Adam and Eve’s lawless ‘sin’ nature, which is death. Until God the Father and God the Son are revealed, we see their goodness and desire to live in their spiritual likeness, we are transgressors.

As Jesus’ apostle Paul states; “we all formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh, the mind and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest.” The world and it’s system of things are influences by Satan. Including this world’s evolving system of things, it’s so called higher education governments and religions.

      Corporately

(Eph 2:11-21; “Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh – who are called “uncircumcision” by the so-called “circumcision” that is performed on the body by human hands – that you ‘gentiles’ were at that time without the Messiah, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (13) But now in Christ Jesus you ‘gentiles’ who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He is our peace, the One who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility, when He nullified in His flesh the law of commandments in decrees.”

He did this to create in Himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, (16) and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. And He came and preached peace to you ‘gentiles’ who were far off and peace to those, ‘Israelites’ who were near, so that through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. (19) So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the Saints and members of God’s household, because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone.

(21; “In Him ‘Jesus’  the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you ‘gentiles’ also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

Non-Israelite populations have always been more prone to make gods of the heavenly bodies and images likened to things that can be seen. Days of the week are named from some of these. Paul’s letter to Timothy should be applied to each Believer.

(2Tim 1:6-” Because of this I remind you to rekindle God’s gift that you possess through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me, a prisoner for His sake, but by God’s power accept your share of suffering for the gospel. (9) He ‘God the Father’ is the One who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on His own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. He has broken the power of death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel! (11) For this gospel I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher. Because of this, in fact, I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, because I know the One in whom my faith is set and I am convinced that He is able to protect what has been entrusted to me until that day. Hold to the standard of sound words that you heard from me and do so with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.(14) Protect that good thing entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who lives within us.”)

Israelites and non-Israelites are called individually to serve as Ambassadors to Jesus. Corporately Israelites and non-Israelites are called to a oneness in Christ Jesus. An Ambassador must think as His Lord and the citizenship they serve. There is no hostility between people of differing heritages in Christ Jesus. Through the gifting of His Holy Spirit to our minds, we love those who would be our and Jesus’ enemies. Not their way of life but them individually. Helping us fulfill Jesus’ desire that we love as He loves, is through His revealed knowledge regarding His plans for this earth.

Grace, mercy and love, chapter 2

Friday, May 5th, 2017

5/5/17, God’s 2nd month, Iyar 9, 5777 begins at sunset today. To 4,407 “in resident churches” and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

This age between Jesus’ ascension and His return is the latter age. As reviewed in chapter one, “God has preplanned it all.” Satan is allowed to be the god of this world until God’s set time for his demise. Since Adam and Eve’s creation and particularly in this latter age interval of time, Satan is the culprit causing divisions of all sorts. Study Matthew 24: Nations against nations, family divisions and fleshly love waxing cold will continue until Jesus’ return and Satan bound.

His kingdom of peace and judgment, preplanned.

(Isaiah 11:1-4; ”A shoot will grow out of Jesse’s root stock, a bud will sprout from his roots. (See also See Jeremiah 30:9; Ezekiel 34:23-24; 37:24-25; Hosea 3:5; and Micah 5:2.) The Lord’s spirit will rest on Him – a spirit that gives extraordinary wisdom, a spirit that provides the ability to execute plans, a spirit that produces absolute loyalty to the Lord. He will take delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by mere appearances, or make decisions on the basis of hearsay. He will treat the poor fairly, and make right decisions for the downtrodden of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and order the wicked to be executed.” (Rod of His mouth? (Heb “and by the breath of His lips He will kill the wicked.” The “breath of His lips” refers to His speech, specifically in this context His official decrees that the wicked oppressors be eliminated from His realm.)

(5-9; “Justice will be like a belt around His waist, integrity will be like a belt around His hips. A wolf will reside with a lamb, and a leopard will lie down with a young goat; an ox and a young lion will graze together, as a small child leads them along. A cow and a bear will graze together, their young will lie down together. A lion, like an ox, will eat straw. A baby will play over the hole of a snake; over the nest of a serpent an infant will put his hand. They will no longer injure or destroy on My entire royal mountain. For there will be universal submission to the Lord’s sovereignty, just as the waters completely cover the sea.”) (MY entire royal mountain? My entire government?

(Heb “in all My holy mountain.” In the most basic sense the Lord’s “holy mountain” is the mountain from which He rules over His kingdom (see Ezek 28:14, 16). Specifically it refers to Mount Zion/Jerusalem or to the entire land of Israel (see Psalms 2:6; 15:1; 43:3; Isaiah 56:7; 57:13; Ezekiel 20:40; Obadiah 16;  Zephaniah 3:11). God’s worldwide dominion. “Knowledge of the Lord?” Recognition of the Lord’s sovereignty which results in a willingness to submit to His authority.)

Family of Jacob “Israelites - physical and spiritual, heirs with Abraham.

(Isaiah 14:1-5; “The Lord will certainly have compassion on Jacob; ‘Israelites’ He will again choose Israel as His special people and restore them to their land. Resident foreigners will join them and unite with the family of Jacob. Nations will take them and bring them back to their own place. Then the family of Jacob will make foreigners their servants as they settle in the Lord’s land. They will make their captors captives and rule over the ones who oppressed them. When the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and anxiety, and from the hard labor which you were made to perform, you will taunt the king of Babylon with these words: “Look how the oppressor has met his end!

Hostility has ceased. The Lord has broken the club of the wicked, the scepter of rulers. It furiously struck down nations”)

(Isaiah 14:6-8; “It ‘the “club/scepter” of the preceding line.) furiously struck down nations with unceasing blows. It angrily ruled over nations, oppressing them without restraint. (7) The whole earth rests and is quiet; they break into song. The evergreens also rejoice over your demise, as do the cedars of Lebanon, singing, ‘Since you fell asleep, no woodsman comes up to chop us down!’”

(9-11; “Sheol below is stirred up about you, ready to meet you when you arrive. (Sheol is the proper name of the subterranean world, regarded as the land of the dead. Sometimes translated “hell” in the New Testament.) It rouses the spirits of the dead for you, all the former leaders of the earth; it makes all the former kings of the nations rise from their thrones. All of them respond to you, saying: ‘You too have become weak like us! You have become just like us! Your splendor has been brought down to Sheol, as well as the sound of your stringed instruments. You lie on a bed of maggots, with a blanket of worms over you.”

Jesus said to His apostles, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” Luke 10:18. Jesus had Isaiah prophecy about Satan and his followers demise.

(Isa 14:12-21; “Look how you have fallen from the sky, O shining one, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, O conqueror of the nations! You said to yourself, “I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El. I will set up my throne. I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon. I will climb up to the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High!” (15) But you were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit. Those who see you stare at you, they look at you carefully, thinking: “Is this the man who shook the earth, the one who made kingdoms tremble? (17) Is this the one who made the world like a desert, who ruined its cities, and refused to free his prisoners so they could return home?” As for all the kings of the nations, all of them lie down in splendor, each in his own tomb. But you have been thrown out of your grave like a shoot that is thrown away. You lie among the slain,

among those who have been slashed by the sword, among those headed for the stones of the pit, as if you were a mangled corpse. You will not be buried with them, because you destroyed your land and killed your people. The offspring of the wicked will never be mentioned again. Prepare to execute his sons for the sins their ancestors have committed.

They must not rise up and take possession of the earth, or fill the surface of the world with cities.”)

Persecutors of God’s people, swept away.

(Isa 14:22-27; “I will rise up against them,” says the Lord who commands armies. “I will blot out all remembrance of Babylon and destroy all her people, including the offspring she produces,” says the Lord. “I will turn her into a place that is overrun with wild animals and covered with pools of stagnant water. I will get rid of her, just as one sweeps away dirt with a broom,” says the Lord who commands armies. The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow: “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen. (25) I will break Assyria in My land, I will trample them underfoot on My hills. Their yoke will be removed from My people,

the burden will be lifted from their shoulders. (26) This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; My hand is ready to strike all the nations.” Indeed the Lord who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?”)

  Israel’s next deliverance.

(Isaiah 46:3-4; “Listen to Me, O family of Jacob, all you who are left from the family of Israel, you who have been carried from birth, you who have been supported from the time you left the womb. Even when you are old, I will take care of you, even when you have gray hair, I will carry you. I made you and I will support you; I will carry you and rescue you.”

    (5-7; “To whom can you compare and liken Me? Tell Me whom you think I resemble, so we can be compared! Those who empty out gold from a purse and weigh out silver on the scale hire a metalsmith, who makes it into a god. They then bow down and worship it. They put it on their shoulder and carry it; they put it in its place and it just stands there;

it does not move from its place. Even when someone cries out to it, it does not reply; it does not deliver him from his distress.”

(8-13; “Remember this, so you can be brave! Think about it, you rebels! Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! (Think about the miracles done through Moses before your deliverance from Egypt? Think of Jesus’ miracles making aged wine from water, feeding thousands and the miracles through His apostles.) Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like Me, who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’ who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out My plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out. Listen to Me, you stubborn people, you who distance yourself from doing what is right. I am bringing My deliverance near, it is not far away; I am bringing My salvation near, it does not wait. I will save Zion; I will adorn Israel with My splendor.”)

Jesus’ apostle Paul was privileged to know and share God the Father and God the Son’s grace, mercy, love and promises.

(1Cor 1:3-9; “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus. For you ‘followers of Jesus’ were made rich in every way in Him, in all your speech and in every kind of knowledge – just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you – so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”)

Gracd, mercy and love, chapter 1

Thursday, May 4th, 2017

5/4/17, God’s 2nd month, Iyar 8, 5777 begins at sunset today. To 4,405 “in resident churches” and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

It’s by the grace of God, His mercy and love that we are able to function in His likeness. Fleshly love, creativity and talents are gifts from God. God the Father’s “so loving the world that He gave His Son” began when He willed that all things be created by Jesus. Jesus is the Lord God that made and communed with Adam and Eve. (Before Adam and Eve committed lawlessness; God the Father and God the Son, knowing Satan’s allowed purpose and their fleshly nature, planned the way for a family relationship.) Through mercy, grace and love, the Son of God and Creator ‘Jesus’ would shed His blood so lawlessness could be forgiven to those called to believe IN. God’s selecting and friendship dealings with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and David, looked forward to Abraham’s seed, ’descendents’ inheriting eternal life through the Son of God’s blood sacrifice.

  Called followers of Jesus, heirs.

(Galatians 3:23-29; “Now before ‘Jesus’’ faith came ‘was revealed’ we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed. 24) Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by ‘Jesus’’ faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. (26) For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For all of you who were baptized ‘immersed’  into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. (29) And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.)

All by the will of God the Father, God the Son, ‘Jesus” created all things, including Adam and Eve. (See Hebrews 1:, John 1:1-5 and Colossians 1:15-20) (By the will of God the Father, they carried out Jesus’ fleshly birth, calling apostles, setting the examples for righteousness and doing miraculous deeds by the will of God the Father.) (Jesus’ blood sacrifice for the remission of sin, His stripes for our healings, His death, resurrection, ascension and becoming our Mediator before God the Father; was all preplanned, so our lawless inherited from Adam sin nature could be forgiven through Jesus’ gifted faith to our minds.) Making us Believers IN Jesus.

Lets consider some scriptural text relating to grace and truth. (John 1:17-18; “For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, ‘the Father.’ The only One, Himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.”)

(Colossians 1:15-20; “He, ‘Jesus’ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him. He Himself is before all things and all things are held together in Him. (Sustained in Him.) He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son. and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”)

All biblical history is written for our learning, understanding and revelation to the called. Blood sacrifices looked forward to Jesus’. Satan’s being allowed is for God’s ultimate purpose. Consider Jesus’ apostles’ friction with those Satan deceived.

Apostles Paul and Barnabas experienced unbelievers stirring up those called to believe IN Jesus. They testified to the message of His grace, granting miraculous signs and wonders to be performed through their hands. But the population of the city was divided; some sided with the Jews, and some with the apostles.” See Acts 14:1-7)

(Romans 1:5-7; “Through Him we have received grace and our apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles on behalf of His name. You also are among them, called to belong to Jesus Christ. (7) To all those loved by God in Rome, called to be Saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!”)

People called to love God understand that they were first loved by God. (Rom 3:20-26; “For no one is declared righteous before Him by the works of the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. (21) But now apart from the law the righteousness of God (which is attested by the law and the prophets) has been disclosed – namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But they are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God publicly displayed Him at His death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because God in His forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed. (26) This was also to demonstrate His righteousness in the present time, so that He would be just and the Justifier of the one who lives because of Jesus’ faithfulness.”) Note the responsibility God takes on Himself.

Salvation through believing IN faith, mercy and grace.

Rom 4:14-25; “For if they ‘people’ become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified. For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression either. For this reason it is by faith so that it may be by grace, with the result that the promise may be certain to all the descendants – not only to those who are under the law, but also to those who have the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”). He is our father in the presence of God whom he believed – the God who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do. (18) Against hope Abraham believed in hope with the result that he became the father of many nations according to the pronouncement, “so will your descendants be.“

(19-25; “Without being weak in faith, he ‘Abraham’ considered his own body as dead (because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God. (21) He was fully convinced that what God promised He was also able to do. So indeed it was credited to Abraham as righteousness. (23) But the statement it was credited to him was not written only for Abraham’s sake, but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe in the One who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He ‘Jesus’ was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.”) See Genesis 15:

  Grace and righteousness to reign.

Rom  5:14-17; “Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming One) transgressed. But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many! (16) And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification. For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!”

Each in their own order chosen by grace.

(18-20; “Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man ‘Adam’ many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man ‘Jesus’ many will be made righteous. (20) Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more, so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”)

Israelites hardness of heart caused stupor, but restoration planned.

(Rom 11:5-12; “So in the same way at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace. What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was diligently seeking, but the Elect obtained it. The rest were hardened, (8) as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, to this very day.”  And David says, “Let their table become a snare and trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them; let their eyes be darkened so that they may not see, and make their backs bend continually.”

(11-12; “I ask then, they did not stumble into an irrevocable fall, did they? Absolutely not! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel jealous. Now if their transgression means riches for the world and their defeat means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full restoration bring?

God’s promises sure, permanent and irrevocable.

Heart Circumcision, chapter 31

Monday, May 1st, 2017

5/1/17, God’s 2nd month, Iyar 5, 5777 begins at sunset today. To 4,399 “in resident churches” and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

For the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of His good pleasure – is God.” Philippians 2:13. Do we have a desire to love as God loves? If so, where did it come from? Is it genuine or do we attempt to conjure it up? And what is Godly Love? I even wonder if I comprehend the depth of what I think I understand. I do believe IN God’s Word, “the Holy Scriptures in their original verbiage and intent.” And though I have been attempting to teach the difference in “believing IN opposed to believing that” for years, I personally wrestle with the degree of my own understanding. So I keep seeking God’s revelations regarding all things.

It is difficult to find a subject deeper than love. First Corinthians 13: is rightly called the love chapter, favored by most in the old King James translation, to the degree that more modern translations seem strange. I once did a wedding jointly; as I read First Corinthians from the Net Bible’s modern English translation I discerned the other’s confusion as he kept attempting to read over my shoulder. As with all scripture, we need Godly revelation when we study the love chapter.

As with the differences in “believing IN opposed to believing that” we need to consider the difference in, “animalistic love opposed to Godly love.”

This paragraph defining belief is my view, not scriptural but theoretically correct. Atheists and many others make themselves their god by looking to themselves for discerning what’s right, wrong, good and evil. Not understanding that what’s “trusted in” becomes their god. Other “believers that” assume a higher power exist and make that power fit their particular idea. Many believe in praying through some imagined saint, sharing their desires with a priest or some person of the cloth in their denominational faith. All such people can be defined as “believers that.”

The Holy Scriptures define “Believers IN.” Believers IN are gifted with knowing faith; gifted revealed knowledge regarding our Creator’s characteristics, purpose and our individual calling to a family relationship with Him. Believers IN pray to God the Father in the gifted nature of God the Son, ‘Jesus.’ Gifted with the clear understanding that Jesus is our Mediator. If this isn’t clear re-study the previous chapter.

This paragraph defining animalistic love is my view, not necessarily all scriptural but theoretically correct. Animalistic love can wax cold when not nurtured. (Matt 24:10-12; “Then many will be led into sin, and they will betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will appear, deceive many and because lawlessness will increase so much, the love of many will grow cold.”) (Matt 10:35-36; “For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.” Animalistic love is a natural inheritance; shared by people and animals and can mostly be defined as a protective loving concern for “me, mine and ours.” Animalistic love includes parental; whether hatched from an egg or from giving birth; animals and people have a natural concerning love for their offspring. With animals this love normally last through the time of weaning. With normal people, “concerning love for offspring is for life” and mostly shared with family and others of mutual common interest. Inherited self concerning animalistic love is mostly for “me, mine and ours” not capable of loving enemies.

The Holy Scriptures define Godly love as the spiritual imputation of His spirit. Defined as gifted, “begotten of God,” “a fathering that makes people “at one spiritually” with God. A gifted nature change, “whereby the nature inherited from Adam is replaced with the loving nature of Jesus.” Gifted Godly love is outgoing, concerning and perpetual.

(Romans 5:6-11; “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.) But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (9) Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from God’s wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by His life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.”)

Godly love can’t be conjured up, worked up or earned.

(John 3:7-8; Jesus said, “Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”)

Born again - born from above - begotten - fathered? Are from the same Greek word with the same double meanings as occurs in v. 3. (John 3:3; Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old,  He cannot enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time, can he?”

(Galatians 3:26-29; “For in Christ Jesus you are all Sons of God through faith, ‘in Christ Jesus.’ For all of you who were baptized ‘immersed’ into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”)

What awesome promises they are. Descendent? “can be translated - seed.” See “descendant” in 3:16; “Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. This New Testament Scripture does not say, “and to the descendants,” referring to many, but “and to your descendant,” referring to one, who is Christ.” Includes all fathered by God, becoming heirs with Abraham through Jesus. See Genesis 12:7; 13:15; 17:7 and 24:7.

(Genesis 13:15-17; “I will give all the land that you see to you and your descendants forever. And I will make your descendants like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone is able to count the dust of the earth, then your descendants also can be counted. Get up and walk throughout the land, for I will give it to you.”)

Now let’s define Godly love as intended at first Corinthians 13: by inserting the word Godly in front of love.

1Cor 13:1-13; “If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but I do not have Godly love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophecy, know all mysteries and all knowledge and if I have all faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have Godly love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I give over my body in order to boast, but do not have Godly love, I receive no benefit. Godly Love is patient, Godly love is kind, it is not envious. Godly love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. (6) It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

(8-13; Godly love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, but when what is perfect comes, the partial will be set aside. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways. For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and Godly love. But the greatest of these is Godly love.”)

Only recipients’ of Godly love have the capacity to love enemies. Godly love hates all that’s lawless in God’s View, but loves the individual that doesn’t know God.

God the Father so loved the world that He sacrificed His only begotten of the spirit Son of man, Son of God “Jesus.” God the Son “Jesus” so loved people created in His image and likeness that He willingly sacrificed Himself, shed His innocent blood, so our lawless nature could be changed from the likeness of Adam’s to the likeness of His.

(1Corinthians 15:20-28; “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, ‘Adam’ the resurrection of the dead also came through a man, ‘Jesus’. For just as in Adam all die, ‘once’. so also in Christ all will be made alive, ‘resurrected’. (23) But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him.

(24; Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. (The end?” or “then (is) the end.” Paul explains how the “end” relates to resurrection in vv. 25-28.)

(25-28; “For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death. For He has put everything in subjection under His feet. But when it says “everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the One, ‘God the Father’ who put everything in subjection to Him. And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be subjected to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.”)

Abraham’s seed, ‘descendents will be numerous. No more lawlessness “what’s sin in God’s View.” All will be ultimately be gifted with, “circumcision of heart.”
