God’s Master Plan, chapter 7

Friday, June 30th, 2017

6/30/17, God’s 4th month, Tammuz 5, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,624 in resident churches and individuals “God has made temples of His spirit,“

In home worship is the direction God’s church must move to. Politically correct environment has evolved to the point that it’s dangerous to express a belief IN God’s View openly. Though in some situations we must. Even unbelieving preachers “professing Christians” pastor of churches while holding jobs, “with large firms particularly” are losing their jobs for speaking out against politically correct issues. Politically correctness has become a religion in much of the western world. Demonic deceptions started long ago.

(Jeremiah 23:13-14; The Lord says, “I saw the prophets of Samaria doing something that was disgusting. They prophesied in the name of the god Baal and led My people Israel astray. (14) But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking.

They are unfaithful to Me and continually prophesy - ‘teach’ lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.”) Three chapters back we read 2Chronicles 15: about King Asa’s turning the Israelites back to the faith of their ancestors and that temporary result. Jesus’ apostle Peter was mindful of history’s repeating its self.

(2Peter 2:1-3; But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result, they will bring swift destruction on themselves. And many will follow their debauched lifestyles.

Because of these false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by; their destruction is not asleep.”

Consider that; “prophecy being certain” it’s often written in past tense.

(2Peter 2:4-10;“For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but threw them into, hell (Hebrew γίνομαι meaning ginomai), and locked them up in chains in utter darkness, to be kept until the judgment, and if he did not spare the ancient world, but did protect Noah a herald of righteousness, along with seven others, when God brought a flood on an ungodly world and if He turned to ashes the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah when He condemned them to destruction, having appointed them to serve as an example to future generations of the ungodly and if He rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless men, (for while he lived among them day after day, that righteous man was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard) (See  Gen 18:16—19:29) – if so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from their trials, and to reserve the unrighteous for punishment at the day of judgment, especially those who indulge their fleshly desires and who despise authority.”

Brazen and insolent, they are not afraid to insult the glorious ones, (11) yet even angels, who are much more powerful do not bring a slanderous judgment against them before the Lord.” (The parallel in Jude 9 speaks of a reviling judgment against the devil in which the prepositional phrase is entirely absent. At the same time, in that parallel Michael does say, “The Lord rebuke you.” (Hence, Peter is offering something of a judgment from the Lord.)

  Unbelievers: “creatures of instinct.”

(2Pet 2:12-13; “But these men, like irrational animals – creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed – do not understand whom they are insulting, and consequently in their destruction they will be destroyed, suffering harm as the wages for their harmful ways. By considering it a pleasure to carouse in broad daylight, they are stains and blemishes, indulging in their deceitful pleasures when they feast together with you.”

(2Pet 2:14-16; “Their eyes, full of adultery, never stop sinning; they entice unstable people. They have trained their hearts for greed, these cursed children! By forsaking the right path they have gone astray, because they followed the way of Balaam son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, yet was rebuked for his own transgression (a dumb donkey, speaking with a human voice restrained the prophet’s madness).”  (See Num 22—24 (see also Num 31:8, 16).

Unbelieving teacher’s plight is a foregone conclusion.

(2Pet 2:17-21; “These men are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm, for whom the utter depths of darkness have been reserved. For by speaking high-sounding but empty words they are able to entice with fleshly desires and with debauchery, people who have just escaped from those who reside in error. (19) Although these false teachers promise such people freedom, they themselves are enslaved to immorality. For whatever a person succumbs to, to that he is enslaved. For if after they have escaped the filthy things of the world through the rich knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they again get entangled in them and succumb to them, their last state has become worse for them than their first. (21) For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, having known it, to turn back from the holy commandment that had been delivered to them.”)

(2Per 2:22- “They are illustrations of this true proverb: “A dog returns to its own vomit,” and “A sow, after washing herself, wallows in the mire.”) (A loose rendering of Proverbs 26:11) Peter’s words don’t need additional commentary.

The world needs Jesus’ spirit, His faith and revelations. Spiritual understanding is; “revelation discernment.” Scriptural study can result in fleshly understanding, but “fleshly understanding is not revealed faith.” (Without His interceding, opening minds, revealing, “it’s not His faith in us.)

Read it again, Jesus said; (“I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have REVEALED to you everything I heard from My Father.”)

God does the choosing and He opens minds! He gives the desire to know Him. (See Phil 2:13) Remember: each apostle continued refering to themselves as Jesus Christ’s slaves. Whether it be through James “our Lord’s half brother” writing to the twelve dispersed tribes of Israel or Paul writing to the Gentiles in Corinth; “Jesus’ Word is REVEALED to those He calls.” Let us consider James’ letter and some of Paul’s explanations to the Roman Gentiles.

(James 1:1; “From James, a slave of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad. Greetings!” ) Because of James’ calling and gifted revelations, James could write with authority, “from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” James is not writing to the non-Israelite populations, but to the dispersed Israelites. (Remember a few years earlier, Jesus first sent His disciples to the lost tribes of Israel.)

(Matt 10:5-6; “Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: “Do not go to Gentile regions and do not enter any Samaritan town. Go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”) Consider why the Israelites were dispersed? Why did Jesus hold back on revealing Himself to the Gentiles at that time? We pray both questions are opened to our understanding as we continue.

(Romans 11:13-15; “Now I “Paul” am speaking to you Gentiles. Seeing that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I could provoke My people to jealousy and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” ) LIFE FROM THE DEAD? A resurrection! Because of grace, “promises to the fathers” the whole of Jacob is holy to God! (Grace is that gift of promise, “Jesus’ work.”)

Now Paul explains how God’s promises to Abraham relates to gentiles.

(Rom 11:16-20; “If the first portion of the dough offered is holy, then the whole batch is holy and if the root is holy, so too are the branches. Now if some of the branches were broken off and you, “gentiles” a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them and participated in the richness of the olive root, do not boast over the branches. But if you boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. (19) Then you will say, “The branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted! They ‘Israel’ were broken off because of their unbelief, but you “gentiles” stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear!” )

All believers IN become spiritual Israelites! Though the many Israelites backslid became their unbelief, all Israelites are holy because of the promises to their fathers, “Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” NOW the teachings to the Gentiles is rooted to the same believing IN faith as was gifted to Abraham!

(Rom 11:21-23; “For if God did not spare the NATURAL branches, perhaps He will not spare you. Notice therefore the kindness and harshness of God – harshness toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness toward you, PROVIDED you CONTINUE in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. And even they – IF they do not continue in their UNBELIEF – will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.” )

When Jesus is revealed, apparently all unbelieving Israelites will become believers IN and be grafted in AGAIN.

(Rom 11:24-33; “For if you ‘gentiles’ were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree and grafted, contrary to ‘your inherited’ nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree? For I do not want you to be ignorant of this MYSTERY, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: “A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.” (26) And so ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. (27) And this is My covenant with them, when I take AWAY their sins.” In regard to the gospel they, “Israelites” are enemies for your sake, but in regard to ELECTION they are dearly loved for the SAKE of the fathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Just as you were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received MERCY due to theirIsraelites” disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may NOW RECEIVE MERCY. (32) For God has consigned all people to disobedience so that He may show mercy to them all. (33) Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how fathomless His ways!”)

We don’t need to hurriedly try to figuring it all out, wait on revelations and believe what’s written.

God’s Master Plan, chapter 6

Wednesday, June 28th, 2017

/28/17, God’s 4th month, Tammuz 3, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,582 in resident churches and individuals “God has made temples of His spirit,“

Heavenly Father: please grant Your peace to each truth seeker and give us a believing in Jesus faith. Reveal Yourself to our minds and give us the desire to practice Your truths. We ask in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

People fifty and over in this earth’s western nations particularly, can’t help but notice the number of things that are reverse from forty years ago. Countries where the Holy Bible once decorated end tables and citizens mostly held to its values now adhere to all the books says are abominable to God practices. We each could name most of them. Notably western nations have went the way of Sodom and Gomorra. To what is politically correct.

When Barnabas and Paul came back to the church at Antioch, they reported, “all the things God had done through them” credit was given to; “He that opened the door of faith for the Gentiles.” Acts 14:27) No apostle ever boasted of success without sharing who gave it and that they were HIS servants. These understood something that professing Christians seems to have forgotten. That is; “Jesus is the Vine, God the Father is the Gardener and believing IN Faith is a gift. God opens doors of faith when He is ready. Jesus’ apostles knew who was working in them. Jesus proclaimed it.

(John 15:1-3; “I am the true Vine and My Father is the Gardener. My Father takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in Me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. You are clean already because of the Word that I have spoken to you.”) His apostles were called and gifted to believe IN the WORD Jesus spoke to them and that made them clean. Believers IN today search our minds, attempting to discern how so many could refuse to believe IN Jesus as He is manifested to be in the holy scriptures. Yet, His Word tells us that only HE opens the door of faith! All Believers IN Jesus are Abraham’s heirs as Paul explained to God‘s church at Rome and to us..

(Romans 4:1-25; “What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh has discovered regarding this matter? For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God. For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” (See Genesis 15:6) Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation. But to the one who does not work, but believes in the One who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.”

(6-8; So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the one against whom the Lord will never count sin.” (See also Psalms 32:1-2 and remember from last study, “only God can take away sins.”

(Rom 1:9-12; “Is this blessedness then for the circumcision or also for the un-circumcision? For we say, “faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness.” How then was it credited to him? Was he circumcised at the time, or not? No, he was not circumcised but uncircumcised! And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised, so that he would become the father of all those who believe but have never been circumcised, that they too could have righteousness credited to them. (by their being gifted to believe IN) And Abraham is also the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also walk practicein the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham possessed when he was still uncircumcised.”

(Rom 1:13-17; “For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not fulfilled through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. For if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified. For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression either. For this reason it is by faith so that it may be by grace, with the result that the promise may be certain to all the descendants – not only to those who are under the law, but also to those who have the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. (As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations.” See Genesis 17:5) (Romans 4:16-17; comprise one sentence in Greek, but has been divided into two sentences due to English requirements. (The quotation forms a parenthesis in Paul’s argument.) (He “Abraham” is our father in the presence of God whom he believed – the God who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do.)

(Rom 1:18-20; “Against hope Abraham believed in hope with the result that he became the father of many nations according to the pronouncement, “so will your descendants be.” See Genesis 15:5) Without being weak in faith, Abraham considered his own body as dead (because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

(Rom 1:21-25; (He “Abraham” was fully convinced that what God promised He was also able to do. So indeed it was credited to Abraham as righteousness. But the statement it was credited to him was not written only for Abraham’s sake, but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe IN the One who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He ‘Jesus’ was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.”) Jesus ordained that, He and His followers, be Abraham’s heirs and John recorded His Words.

(John 10:14-18; “I am the good shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me – just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father – and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not come from this sheepfold. I must bring them too, and they will listen to My voice, so that there will be one flock and one shepherd. (17) This is why the Father loves Me – because I lay down My life, so that I may take it back again. No one takes it “My Life” away from Me, but I lay it down of My own free will. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it back again. This commandment I received from My Father.”) Now back to John and Jesus’ words.

(John 15:4-8; “Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.” I am the Vine; you are the Branches. The one who remains in Me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from Me you can accomplish nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up. (7) If you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you. My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are My disciples.” )

Jesus is not speaking to worldly unbelievers, but to those gifted to believe IN. His subject is faith and growing spiritually. Many unbelieving people are talented, excellent mechanics, teachers etc. but only His sheep comprehend spiritual things. It’s God’s Way that the wheat and weeds grow together, “until His appointed time.” Worldly and spiritual people are in this world together; the spiritually gifted will be in God’s first resurrection. People refusing to turn “repent” during Jesus’ millennial reign will ultimately be burned up.

(John 15:9-17; “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; remain in My love. If you obey My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that, My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. (12) My commandment is this –”to love one another just as I have loved you.” No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. (15) I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have REVEALED to you everything, I heard from My Father. (16) (You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.) (17) This I command you – to love one another.”)

How do we remain in His love? “Love one another and obey Jesus’ commandments.”

We must understand that Jesus is Creator, Re-creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, Mediator and coming King of Kings. Jesus who wrote the ten commandments on tablets of stone. Thus in His parable about Lazarus and a rich man, He states; “if people didn’t believe Moses, neither will they believe if one is raises frim the dead and tells them.”

The result of believing IN, “you will remain in MY love.” “I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.” This spiritual knowledge that transcends all.

Remember, He no longer calls us slaves, because He reveals to us as friends. Spiritual Israelites are gifted with revealed knowledge of God the Father and God the Son.

God’s Master Plan, chapter 5

Tuesday, June 27th, 2017

6/27/17, God’s 4th month, Tammuz 2, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,570 in resident churches and individuals “God has made temples of His spirit,“

Continuing from last study; Jesus reveled through Paul that He will return and deliver Israel back to their pasture; “save all Israel by taking away their sins.” God is going to take away Israel’s sins because of His promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

(Romans 11:28-32; “In regard to the gospel they, ‘Israelites’ are enemies for your sake, but in regard to Election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. (30) Just as you, ‘gentiles’ were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received mercy due to their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God has consigned all people to disobedience so that He may show mercy to them all.”) All people have inherited a nature likened to Adams and Cain’s at birth: a nature that only God can change to one likened to Jesus’.

(Rom 11:33- “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how fathomless His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? Or who has first given to God,

that God needs to repay him?  For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To him be glory forever.”) No one can successfully approach God to offer Him a service, a covenant that He would need to honor. “The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.” God is going to show mercy to all

Jesus had His apostle Paul teach that salvation is by promise.

(Gal 3:15-19; “Brothers and sisters, I offer an example from everyday life: When a covenant has been ratified, even though it is only a human contract, no one can set it aside or add anything to it. Now the promises ‘to save through Jesus’ were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say, “and to the descendants,” referring to many, but “and to your descendant,” referring to one, who is Christ. (17) What I am saying is this: The law that came four hundred thirty years later does not cancel a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to invalidate the promise. For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave it ‘the inheritance’ to Abraham through the promise.”

Remember: “For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.” Ephesians 2:8-10)

Fleshly minded people “people inheriting Adam’s nature” demonstrated their need for the law.

(Gal 3:19- “Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the Descendant to whom the promise had been made. It ‘the law’ was administered through angels by an intermediary ‘Jesus.” Now an intermediary is not for one party alone, but God is one. Is the law therefore opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given – because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ – to those who believe.”) (To those called to be Believers IN.)

(Gal 3:23-29; “Now before ‘Jesus’’ faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming ‘Jesus’’ faith” would be revealed. Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith. (25) But now that ‘Jesus’’ faith has come, ‘been revealed’ we, ’who are gifted with Jesus’ faith’ are no longer under a guardian. (WHY?) For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For all of you who were baptized ’immersed’ into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. (29) And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”) (Christians are a set aside ‘sanctified’ people, by promise and known from the foundation of the world.)

Jesus, Priest of a Better Covenant

(Hebrews 8:1-5; “Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We have such a High Priest, One who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, a minister in the sanctuary and the true tabernacle that the Lord, not man, set up. For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices. So this One too had to have something to offer. Now if He were on earth, He would not be a priest, since there are already priests who offer3 the gifts prescribed by the law. (5) The place where they serve is a sketch and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary, just as Moses was warned by God as he was about to complete the tabernacle. For He says, “See that you make everything according to the design shown to you on the mountain.”

(Heb 8:6-9; “But now Jesus has obtained a superior ministry, since the covenant that He mediates is also better and is enacted on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, no one would have looked for a second one. But showing its fault, God says to them, “Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant that I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not continue in My covenant and I had no regard for them, says the Lord.”)

  A nature change for Believers.

(Heb 8:10; “For this is the covenant that I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put My laws in their minds and I will inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be My people.”)

The mystery only the called are able to grasp. Fleshly minded think ’methodology.” They think; “surely there is a way in which we can surrender and covenant with God.” When they say, “just believe” it’s believe that, not “believe IN.” To believe IN is a supernatural calling to turn from the formally lived life to one like Jesus’.

(Heb 8:11-13; “And there will be no need at all for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying, Know the Lord, since they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will remember no longer.” When He speaks of a New Covenant, He makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear.”) God’s New Covenant with His called out people is rehearsed more in chapters 9 and 10:.

  Physical - fleshly logic.

There is human physical logic “understanding” and there is spiritual God gifted understanding! We are first introduced to the two in Genesis with Cain and Abel. When we assume, we are willingly ignorant. Why would people be willingly ignorant? Could it be the inherited nature that wants to go the way that seems right?) The nature that desires worshiping, one’s own intellect? Our inherited nature is self serving, haughty and naturally trust this world’s system of things. The things Jesus and His apostles taught against.

(Paul taught the following; “Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment. Tell them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers sharing with others. In this way they will save up a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the future and so lay hold of what is truly life.” 1Tim 6:17-19)

The inherited nature leads us to trust in the things riches contribute to. Laying hold on what is TRULY LIFE is spiritually discerned. (Allow the apostle Paul’s explanation.

“God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we “Believers IN - Christians” have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may KNOW the things that are freely given to us by God. And we speak about these things, NOT WITH WORDS TAUGHT BY HUMAN WISDOM, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. The unbeliever DOES NOT RECEIVE the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolish to him. And he CANNOT understand them, because they are spiritually DISCERNED. The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise him? But we “Believers” have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:10-16))

Today’s worldly educators are mostly deliberately ignorant; suppressing God’s truth because they aren‘t Believers. They desire to find a way around yielding to the teaching of our Creator. WHY? When people desire to be disobedient “God gives them blindness.” When people interpret according to what seems correct to human intellect, God allows blindness.

(2Cor 4:1-6; “Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, we do not become discouraged. But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or DISTORTING the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience before God. But even if OUR GOSPEL IS VEILED, it is veiled ONLY to those who are PERISHING, among whom the GOD OF THIS AGE HAS BLINDED THE MINDS of those who DO NOT believe so they would NOT SEE the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is THE ONE WHO SHINED in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.“)

God has no argument with the willingly ignorant that depend on carbon dating and claim the earth to be millions of years old. He is Creator and Re-creator.

King Cyrus of Persia was named and his kingdom announced long before he was given a kingdom. He proclaimed; ‘The Lord God of the heavens has given to me all the kingdoms of the earth. He has appointed me to build for Him a temple in Jerusalem in Judah. May the Lord your God energize you who belong to His people, so you may be able to go back there!” Read the whole account, prove and believe IN. Scoffers are having a field day now, as they ignorantly play into Satan’s hand, but soon the King of Kings will reveal His truths. See 2Chronicles 36:22, Ezra 1: - 6:. Isaiah 44:26 - 45:1 and Daniel 1: 6: and 10:.

God’s Master Plan, chapter 4

Monday, June 26th, 2017

6/26/17, God’s 4th month, Tammuz 1, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,565 in resident churches and individuals “God has made temples of His spirit,“

In our last study we reviewed Jesus’ instruction through His apostle Paul; regarding the necessity of Christians separating from this world’s system of things. 2Cor 6:14-18) We read about Oded the prophet encouraging King Asa to turn Israel back to the God of their ancestors and that temporary outcome. See 2Chronicals 15: - 28:) We read about God likening Assyria and Babylon as enemies of His people through Jeremiah and our commentary likening them to this world’s system of things. God has spelled out the characteristics of Babylon and their plight through Jeremiah. See Jeremiah 50:)

(Jeremiah 50:18-20; “So I, the Lord God of Israel who rules over all, say: ‘I will punish the king of Babylon and his land just as I punished the king of Assyria. But I will restore the flock of Israel to their own pasture. They will graze on Mount Carmel and the land of Bashan. They will eat until they are full on the hills of Ephraim and the land of Gilead. When that time comes, no guilt will be found in Israel. No sin will be found in Judah. For I will forgive those of them I have allowed to survive. I, the Lord, affirm it!’”)

It’s a covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’s heirs. See Galatians 3:29)

Regarding God’s covenant with Abraham; “can one imagine Abraham instituting that covenant?” In that regard, has God changed? No! People under God’s New Covenant through Jesus are a spiritually called out people. A people God puts His energizing Holy Spirit in; “making them at one with Himself spiritually and mentally.” Followers of Jesus are saved by grace, not of works, not of any methodology, but by God’s fathering.

The times of chaos Jesus spoke of and has recorded at Matthew 24: will happen before His return, “unless God the Father cuts time short for the Elect’s sake.”

Peaceful time on the horizon; Zechariah’s praise and prediction.

Zachariah was serving by lot as priest when: An angel of the Lord, standing on the right side of the altar of incense, appeared to him. Zechariah, visibly shaken when he saw the angel, “was seized with fear.” But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son; you will name him John. Joy and gladness will come to you, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth. He will turn many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. (17) And he will go as forerunner before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for Him.”) See Luke 1:)

(Luke 1:18-20; Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is old as well.” The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. And now, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time, you will be silent, unable to speak, until the day these things take place.”

(Luke 1:21-25; Now the people were waiting for Zechariah, and they began to wonder why he was delayed in the holy place. When he came out, he was not able to speak to them. They realized that he had seen a vision in the holy place, because he was making signs to them and remained unable to speak. When his time of service was over, he went to his home. After some time his wife Elizabeth became pregnant, and for five months she kept herself in seclusion. She said, “This is what the Lord has done for me at the time when he has been gracious to me, to take away my disgrace among people.”)

Birth Announcement of Jesus the Messiah

(Luke 1:26-30;  “In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of David and the virgin’s name was Mary. The angel came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. So the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid Mary, for you have found favor with God!”

(Luke 1:31-35; Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. (33) He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will never end.” Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?” (35) The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be holy; He will be called the Son of God.

Jesus was fathered by God the Father, begotten of God’s energizing Holy Spirit: thus He was the Son of God at conception. John and Elizabeth would be begotten of God’s energizing Holy Spirit when Mary visited. Gabriel continued speaking to Mary.

(Luke 1:36-38; “And look, your relative Elizabeth has also become pregnant with a son in her old age – although she was called barren, she is now in her sixth month! For nothing will be impossible with God.” So Mary said, “Yes, I am a servant of the Lord; let this happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.

(Luke 1:39-45; “In those days Mary got up and went hurriedly into the hill country, to a town of Judah, and entered Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. (41) When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. (42) She exclaimed with a loud voice, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child in your womb! And who am I that the mother of my Lord should come and visit me? For the instant the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled.”

(Luke 1:46-56; And Mary said, “My soul exalts the Lord, and my spirit has begun to rejoice in God my Savior, because He has looked upon the humble state of His servant.

For from now on all generations will call me blessed, because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name; from generation to generation He is merciful to those who fear Him. He has demonstrated power with His arm; He has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance of their hearts. He has brought down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up those of lowly position; He has filled the hungry with good things, and has sent the rich away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, remembering His mercy, as He promised to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.” So Mary stayed with Elizabeth about three months and then returned to her home.”)

Jesus is coming back to be Israel’s king forever!

The Birth of John; Zachariah filled with the Holy Spirit.

(Luke 1:57-66; Now the time came for Elizabeth to have her baby, and she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown great mercy to her, and they rejoiced with her. On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they wanted to name him Zechariah after his father. But his mother replied, “No! He must be named John.” (61) They said to her, “But none of your relatives bears this name.” So they made signs to the baby’s father, inquiring what he wanted to name his son. He asked for a writing tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” And they were all amazed. (64) Immediately Zechariah’s mouth was opened and his tongue released, and he spoke, blessing God. All their neighbors were filled with fear, and throughout the entire hill country of Judea all these things were talked about. All who heard these things kept them in their hearts, saying, “What then will this child be?” For the Lord’s hand was indeed with him.”

(Luke 1:67-77; Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because He has come to help and has redeemed His people. For He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, as he spoke through the mouth of His holy prophets from long ago, that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us. He has done this to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember His holy covenant – the oath that he swore to our ancestor Abraham.”

This oath grants that we followers of Jesus, Jacob’s heirs “spiritual Israelites” will be rescued from the hand of our enemies and serve Jesus without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him for as long as we live. (76) And you child “John” will be called the prophet of the Most High. For you will go before the Lord to prepare His ways, to give His people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins.”

(Luke 1:78-79; “Because of our God’s tender mercy the dawn will break upon us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

(Luke 1:80; And the child kept growing and becoming strong in spirit, and he was in the wilderness until the day he was revealed to Israel.”

By revelation God’s Holy Spirit in us “is the covenant promise”

making us Believers IN with Zachariah and Peter

On that Pentecost after Jesus‘ ascension Peter was the spokesman for the apostles.

(Acts 3:22- Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must obey Him in everything He tells you. Every person who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed from the people.” And all the prophets from Samuel and those who followed him have spoken about and announced these days. You “followers of Jesus” are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.’ (26) God raised up His servant and sent Him first to you, ’Israelites’  to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities.”

We Believers IN are looking for Jesus’ return and peace on earth when all that call on the name of the Lord will be saved. See Joel 2:)

To all followers of Himself and particularly Non-Israelites Jesus inspired His apostle Paul to explain.

(Romans 11:25-36; “For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”

God’s Master Plan, chapter 3

6/24/17, God’s 3rd month, Sivan 29, 5777 until sunset today. God’s Sabbath, To 4,558 in resident churches and individuals “God has made temples of His spirit,“

Covenant renewals with God are sometimes successful. Once the people of Israel came together and renewed the covenant between themselves and the Lord. (See 2Chronicles 15:) It had been a time of chaos for no one could travel safely, total chaos had overtaken all the people of the surrounding lands. One nation was crushed by another, and one city by another, for God caused them to be in great turmoil.

Oded the prophet encouraged King Asa saying; “But as for you, be strong and don’t get discouraged, for your work will be rewarded.” Asa was encouraged. He removed the detestable idols from the entire land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had seized in the Ephraimite hill country. He repaired the altar of the Lord in front of the porch of the Lord’s temple. Assembling Judah, Benjamin, settlers from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who lived among them. When the people saw that the Lord God was with Asa they assembled in Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign. They sacrificed to the Lord, plunder they had brought back. They solemnly agreed to seek the Lord God of their ancestors with their whole heart and being. Anyone who would not seek the Lord God of Israel would be executed, whether they were young or old, male or female. They swore their allegiance to the Lord, shouting their approval loudly and sounding trumpets and horns.

All Judah was happy about the oath, because they made the vow with their whole heart. They willingly sought the Lord and He responded to them. He made them secure on every side. King Asa also removed Maacah his grandmother from her position as queen mother because she had made a loathsome Asherah pole. Asa cut down her Asherah pole crushed and burned it in the Kidron Valley. The high places were not eliminated from Israel, yet Asa was wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord throughout his lifetime. He brought the holy items that his father and he had made into God’s temple, including the silver, gold, and other articles.)

The history of covenants with God is that He institutes them.

God made a covenant with Noah, promising to destroy all breathing beings except Noah’s family. See Gen 6:18-22) Afterward God said to Noah and his sons, “I now confirm My covenant with you and your descendants after you, with every living creature.  with every living creature that is with you. “Never again will all living things be wiped out by the waters of a flood; never again will a flood destroy the earth.” “This is the guarantee of the covenant I am making with you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all subsequent generations: “I will place My rainbow in the clouds and it will become a guarantee of the covenant between Me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember My covenant with you and with all living creatures of all kinds. Never again will the waters become a flood and destroy all living things. When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will notice it and remember the perpetual covenant between God and all living creatures of all kinds that are on the earth.” “This is the guarantee of the covenant that I am confirming between Me and all living things that are on the earth.” See Gen 9:)

God instituted a covenant promise with Abraham, saying; “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign country; enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years. But I will execute judgment on the nation that they will serve. Afterward they will come out with many possessions. But as for you, you will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age.

In the fourth generation your descendants will return here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its limit.” “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River – the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites.” See Gen 15:) These sinful people groups’ time began to expire when Israel crossed the Jordan under Joshua.

There is a limited time set for the sins of this world to be reached.

(Gen 17:1-2; “When Abram was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the sovereign God. Walk before Me and be blameless. Then I will confirm My covenant between Me and you, and I will give you a multitude of descendants.”)

So it is; “all physical and spiritual Israelites are Abraham’s heirs.” See Gal 3:29)

Regarding Ishmael and Isaac; God said, “No, Sarah your wife is going to bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm My covenant with him as a perpetual covenant for his descendants after him. As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will indeed bless him, make him fruitful, and give him a multitude of descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes; I will make him into a great nation. But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.” When he finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.” See Gen 17:)

God allows covenants - contracts between people. Abraham and Abimelech.made a contract between themselves regarding Beer Sheba. There Abraham worshiped the Lord, the Eternal God. So Abraham stayed in the land of the Philistines for quite some time. See Gen 21:). Jacob and Laban agreed to make a border of separation after their disputes. (Gen  31:51-54; “Here is this pile of stones and this pillar I have set up between me and you,” Laban said to Jacob. “This pile of stones and the pillar are reminders that I will not pass beyond this pile to come to harm you and that you will not pass beyond this pile and this pillar to come to harm me. May the God of Abraham and the god of Nahor, the gods of their father, judge between us.” Jacob took an oath by the God whom his father Isaac feared. Then Jacob offered a sacrifice on the mountain and invited his relatives to eat the meal. They ate the meal and spent the night on the mountain.”)

Original covenants - contracts between God and people are always instituted by God. After Joseph, God remembered His covenant with Abraham.

(Exodus 2::23-25; “During that long period of time the king of Egypt died, and the Israelites groaned because of the slave labor. They cried out, and their desperate cry because of their slave labor went up to God. God heard their groaning, God remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God saw the Israelites and God understood….” Moses’ time had arrived.

Exodus 6:2-8; God spoke to Moses and said to him, “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name ‘the Lord’ I was not known to them. I also established My covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where they were living as resident foreigners. I have also heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered My covenant. Therefore, tell the Israelites, ‘I am the Lord. I will bring you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians, I will rescue you from the hard labor they impose, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. (7) I will take you to Myself for a people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from your enslavement to the Egyptians. I will bring you to the land I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob – and I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord!’”)

God’s covenant proclaimed the Israelites a holy people to Himself. Commanding that they make covenants with no other gods.” See Exodus 19:) Through Moses God gave them the book of the covenant. See Exodus 24:)

(Exodus 31:15-28:10; “Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; anyone who does work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death. (16) The Israelites must keep the Sabbath by observing the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’” (18) He gave Moses two tablets of testimony when He had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, tablets of stone written by the finger of God.” (Study God’s Word regarding idols, promises and land use.)

God’s covenants aren’t forgotten; When Jesus’ returns Israelites will be asking for directions back to Zion. Leave the world of confusion, “Babylon.”

(Jeremiah 50:4-6; “When that time comes,” says the Lord, “the people of Israel and Judah will return to the land together. They will come back with tears of repentance

They will ask the way to Zion; they will turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the Lord in a lasting covenant that will never be forgotten. “My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have allow them to go astray. They have wandered around in the mountains. They have roamed from one mountain and hill to another. They have forgotten their resting place.

(Jer 50:7; “All who encountered them devoured them. Their enemies who did this said, ‘We are not liable for punishment! For those people have sinned against the Lord, their true pasture. They have sinned against the Lord in whom their ancestors trusted.’)

This is in large part true, but God’s covenant is perpetual. The whole world is as Babylon.

Just as heirs of Jacob “Israelites” were holy to God the Father and the Lord “Jesus” were commanded not to covenant with other gods: followers of Jesus in this age are commanded to go out from among this world’s system of things, “Babylon.” Jesus had His apostle Paul explain the mystery of God living in His chosen; making them His covenant people.

(2Corinthians 6:14-18; “Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar - Satan? Or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever? And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we ‘followers of Jesus’ are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the All-Powerful Lord.”) (Quotes from Leviticus 26:12; also similar to Jeremiah 32:38 and Ezekiel 37:27.Quote from Isaiah 52:11 and paraphrased from Ezekiel 20:41.)

God the Father instituted this New Covenant through God the Son “Jesus.” It’s a covenant by promise through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to a people called to turn from their formal “living according to what seemed right” to “the Way God reveals is right.”

God’s Master Plan, chapter 2

6/22/21, Day 4 of 7: God’s 3rd month, Sivan 29, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,549 in resident churches and individuals “called to follow Jesus.

A Contract with God

When our minds are opened to understand God’s spiritual truths and we’re gifted with an intimacy desire to be at one with Him, “it’s evidence of our calling; evidence of selection; evidence of our being set aside, - sanctified for God’s purpose.” A calling to convert from the way that seemed right to our fleshly minds to The Way God affirms to be true. Called out ones are spiritually taught to believe IN, thus gifted to trust Jesus’ personal promises and those through His prophets and apostles.

The world and most denominations calling themselves Christian define themselves as followers of Jesus. From their point,” it’s enough to follow the dictates of their conscious and believe that Jesus died for their sins.” (Such people reject the notion that Christianity is a particular way of life.) That notion plays into the hands of Satan, whose objective is to cause would be believers miss the mark. Satan’s way is the way of division. On the one hand Satan’s way is hatred, chaos and war; on the other, his way is a condoning soft acceptance of every conjured up way, with no absolutes.

Likewise, most denominations don’t understand why Jesus spoke in parables; but Jesus tells us clearly.

(Matthew 13:10-15; Then Jesus’ disciples came to Him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables? He replied, “You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not. For whoever has will be given more and will have and abundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand. And concerning them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: ‘You will listen carefully yet will never understand, you will look closely yet will never comprehend. (15) For the heart of this people has become dull; they are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’”

Healing is more than physical. Healing includes gifted understanding and the gifted ability to discern truth. (Jesus is speaking of people attempting to follow Him by the dictates of their own fleshly intellect: not a people with gifted understanding, desiring from the heart to be obedient, desiring to be at one with Him mentally and spiritually.) In another parable Jesus explains how Satan’s demonic traps works on people.

(Luke 8:4-15; While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from one town after another, He spoke to them in a parable: “A sower went out to sow his seed and as he sowed, some fell along the path and was trampled on, and the wild birds devoured it. Other seed fell on rock and when it came up, it withered because it had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns which grew up with it and choked it. (8) But other seed fell on good soil and grew, and it produced a hundred times as much grain.” As Jesus said this, He called out, “The one who has ears to hear had better listen!”

Then Jesus’ disciples asked Him what this parable meant. He said, “You “called out ones” have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of God, but for others they are in parables, so that although they see they may not see, and although they hear they may not understand.

     (11) “Now the parable means this: The seed is the word of God. Those along the path are the ones who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the Word from their hearts, so that they may not believe ‘IN’ and be saved. (13) Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in a time of testing fall away. (14) As for the seed that fell among thorns, these are the ones who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the worries and riches and pleasures of life and their fruit “understanding” does not mature. (15) But as for the seed that landed on good soil, these are the ones who, after hearing the Word, cling to it with an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with steadfast endurance.”)

Until God the Father reveals Himself and His Son our Creator, “who is the Christian’s Redeemer, Deliverer and Lord; people within each society seek their own religious comfort zones. Beliefs: fitting their own fleshly desires. Individual comfort zones are many, with rooted foundations by place of birth, society at large and parental guidance. Satan and his followers have always been divided in relation to these things. His characteristic is that he has no singular character in the way he deceives. Thus, this world’s nations and people groups are still divided as they were when the Son of God “Jesus” came and lived in the flesh.

(Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.” “Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And whoever does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.”” Matthew 10:34-39)

In other words God’s callings are to individuals. Rarely is a whole family called; when they are they’re extremely blessed!

Being led to follow Jesus is an individual calling, a miraculous revealing, an opening of the mind to understand the Holy Scriptures and God’s Way. People in many parts of this world, gifted with spiritual understanding, are in grave danger of persecution and execution when they speak of it. (In all parts of this earth, “practicing God’s revealed Way makes one an outsider to this world’s system of things.”)

Religions void of truth are, apostates.

Jesus’ brother Jude saw the apostate on the horizon and wrote about it in his letter titled, “Jude.” (The apostate? “A religion using Jesus’ name, while teaching a mixture of pagan traditions.”) Catholicism is an apostate, “meaning universal.” It grew into what the world knows as, “the holy Roman empire.” A mixture incorporating various imagined deities, naming week days for some of them. King Constantine was converted to the apostate; Catholicism grew by leaps, including most of Europe and influencing the whole world. (They still teach that Peter was the first Pope and that Jesus gave him authority over His kingdom on earth.) They forced conversions on the naïve Spanish speaking people and even the American Indian were victims. True to Satan’s divisionary influence, Catholicism soon split over whether their priest could marry and afterward came the Protestantism split. All claiming to be followers of Jesus, while maintaining the practices inherited from Baal worshipers.

(Jesus warned us, “Watch out that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ’ and they will mislead many.” Matt 24:4-5) Truly, it’s the many divided people groups that are utterly deceived. (These organizations of men claiming authority, God has not given them, will be destroyed in God‘s timing.)

God’s weekly and annual Sabbaths, particularly “Trumpets, Atonement and The Feast of Tabernacles,‘ the third of three seasons to be observed’ foreshadow Jesus’ coming kingdom.) Jesus revealed the time and outcome to John and he to us.

(Revelations 11:15-19; “Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He will reign for ever and ever.” Then the twenty-four elders who are seated on their thrones before God threw themselves down with their faces to the ground and worshiped God with these words: “We give you thanks Lord God, the All-Powerful, the One who is and who was, because You have taken your great power and begun to reign. (18) The nations were enraged, but Your wrath has come, and the time has come for the dead to be judged, and the time has come to give to Your servants, the prophets, their reward, as well as to the Saints and to those who revere Your name, both small and great, and the time has come to destroy those who destroy the earth.” Then the temple of God in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was visible within His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, roaring, crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.”)

Speaking to this world’s unbelieving educators: Jesus’ apostle Peter wrote, “they are willingly ignorant.” (King James Version) Meaning is the same in the NET Bible translation.

(“For they deliberately suppress this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago and an earth was formed out of water and by means of water. Through these things the world existing at that time was destroyed when it was deluged with water. But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, by being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.” 2 Pet 3:5-7)

Peter’s words define the world wide divided apostates.

God’s Master Plan

6/19/21, Day 4 of 7: God’s 3rd month, Sivan 26, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,549 in resident churches and individuals “called to follow Jesus.

Holy God: lead many to understand Your truth in this age. Put in us a desire to be obedient as mature children. Lead us from temptations and protect us from evil. Finally, we ask that You shorten the time and usher in Your Kingdom. Thank You for revealing Your Ways. We are honored to call You our Father, in the name and nature of Jesus. AMEN

Genesis means, “beginning, a time or circumstance of something coming into being.” New beginnings have been in our Creator’s master plan since the foundation of the world. God’s establishing new beginnings for His created people are documented for our learning. Even failures, confusions and wars are for our learning. The historical accounts of mankind show that there are always dire consequences when people live the way that seems right to their inherited fleshly nature.

From the time of man’s creation God was making the Way for mankind’s fleshly nature to be changed to one of loving His Way through believing IN Him. “A plan for mankind’s rebirth” is the mystery to the world at large! This mystery was apparently revealed to angelic beings before Adam’s creation. Angelic Lucifer’s name was changed to Satan and was apparently one of these. (Lucifer’s knowing God’s plan to make the way for mankind to be made in God’s image spiritually, is likely one of the reasons for his jealously.) When Lucifer rebelled there was war in the heavens and Jesus said He saw Satan fall like lightning. Jesus told this to His 72 disciples after they returned and shared their teaching successes.

(Luke 10:17-20; ““Then the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, ‘Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name!’ So JESUS said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” Look, I have given you ‘apostles’ authority to tread on snakes and scorpions and on the full force of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names stand written in heaven.””)

LONG before, Jesus had inspired Isaiah to pen, ““Look how you have fallen from the sky, O shining one, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, O conqueror of the nations! You said to yourself, “I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El, I will set up my throne. I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon. I will climb up to the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High!” But you were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit.”” Isaiah 14:12-15)

Mankind’s need to be redirected is apparent. When left to ourselves we develop little god mentalities and with Satan’s help, we evolve to the worshiping of our own intellect and make gods from within our imagination. People’s succumbing to Adam’s inherited nature and yielding to Satan’s deceptions was the reason God destroyed the world with a flood. God demonstrating His hatred of evil. Then God made a new beginning through Noah and has preserved that history. Mankind’s history after Noah is the same. When left to themselves people look to their own fleshly idolatrous understandings and make God into something other than the Creator.

We have the record of Babylon’s scholarly mappings of the planets and their imagining the planets to be gods, worshiping the sun, carving little images and practicing divinization with them. Apparently by the time of Abraham, the whole earth’s populations, including his family had succumbed to worshiping gods of the imagination. The history of mankind when left to ourselves, demonstrate that we think ourselves above our Creator. Thus, we go the way that seems right to that inherited from Adam nature. God inspired the writer of Proverbs to pen: “There is a way that seems right to a man, that leads to death.”

God called Abraham and established a New Faith Beginning. God’s calling and setting aside a people for His name is a New Beginning, established on the gift of Faith in Himself. “God’s promises to Abraham included an eternal inheritance for himself and his heirs.” That inheritance includes a spiritual resurrected life, a millennia of peace on earth, through Abraham’s spiritual heir “Jesus.” The history of Abraham and his fleshly heirs are for our learning. (see Romans 15:4) Beginning with faithful Abraham and through Jesus, believers IN Him, inherit a new beginning. Allow the apostle Paul’s teaching to the Galatians and all called out Believers.

““Now before faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be REVEALED. Thus the law had become our GUARDIAN until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith. But now that ‘Jesus’ faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. For in Christ Jesus you are all SONS of God through faith. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – for all of you are ONE in Christ Jesus. And if you BELONG to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”” Gal 3:23-29)

(GUARDIAN? “disciplinarian,” “custodian,” or “guide.” A guardian’s duty is to conduct schooling of individuals and supervise their conduct. A guardian was not a ‘teacher’ (despite the derivative ‘pedagogue.’ When a young person matures or becomes of age, a guardian is no longer needed.) Spiritual maturity begins within people when Jesus is revealed and understanding gifted. When gifted to “believe IN Jesus” individuals lovingly “clothe themselves” immerse themselves in His revealed Ways. (People succumb to what’s believed in.)

Let’s understand, God called Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Samuel, David, His twelve apostles and each believing IN follower. Jesus revealed Himself as Lord to each of these, sometimes directly and at other times through angelic beings. These all understood by revelations, “that He is Creator.”

Spiritual maturity is God’s gifted spirit of love for His Way, a gifted spiritual desire to be obedient is manifested in Believers IN - Christians. As a loving child manifest a desires to please a parent, so do Christians desire to please their Creator.

(“If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever – the Spirit of TRUTH, whom the world cannot accept, because it “the world” does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you. “I “Jesus” will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you. In a little while the world will not see Me any longer, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live too. You will know at that time that I am in My Father and you are in Me and I am in you. The person who has My commandments and obeys them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” John 14:15-21)

Because Jesus is resurrected to eternal life, believers IN will live eternally too. God’s Way, promises and plans are absolute.

What Satan intends as harm, God is about the business of turning to good! HOW SO? God the Father sent His Son, “Jesus” He has overcome the world, Satan’s temptations and obstacles thrown at Him. Jesus make the way, in which we Believers IN, through Him, have His power to do likewise.

Remember Isaiah was inspired to pen, referring to Satan as “O conqueror of nations!” SO it is: God is allowing Satan to be the god of this world’s unbelieving populations. BUT, to the called, believers IN - Christians, Satan is the deceiving obstacle we have the power to overcome through Jesus. It is a parallel to Joseph’s becoming the Israelite’s savior. Just as Joseph’s brothers meant to do Joseph harm, God turned it all for good, saving His chosen people, revealing Himself and His Way to Joseph.

Likewise, Satan would like to thwart our understanding of God’s plan to create in us a oneness with Himself. OUR fleshly birth is only a beginning in God’s plan to create us in His spiritual image. God’s creative plans for His people include, our gaining knowledge of Himself, learning the goodness of His Ways and growing to be, “AT ONE with Him, mentally and SPIRITUALLY. Thus Jesus’ words to Nicodemus, “you must be born again.” This is the revealed and gifted understanding that produces knowing faith likened to Abraham‘s. Because of Satan’s deceptions and his manifesting himself as an angel of light, etc. this world’s religions teach that all people are born to live forever someplace. That is; “people are born immortal.” Understanding God’s plan to gift Believers IN with eternal life likened to Jesus’ is the revealed mystery to His Elect. Through deception, lies and partial lies, Satan has camouflaged God’s plan to create us in His likeness spiritually.

Grace, mercy and love, chapter 22

Monday, June 19th, 2017

6/19/17, God’s 3rd month, Sivan 24, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,544 in resident churches and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

God’s church is His chosen spiritual Israelites: Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’s heirs. (For all of you are one in Christ Jesus. “Galatians 3:29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”) God’s spiritual church’s beginning was His calling and promises to Abraham. Perhaps not “the beginning” but surely “a beginning.” Jesus’ second coming and His millennial rule on earth will usher in another, “a beginning.” Jesus had Joel prophecy and Peter allude to that prophecy in Acts 2:, regarding the final fulfillment of what Pentecost represents. Pentecost represents God’s calling and gifting His chosen with His Holy Spirit

(Joel 3:32; “It will so happen that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered - saved. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who survive, just as the Lord has promised; the remnant will be those whom the Lord will call.”)

In that soon coming day, the world and particularly descendents of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will be convinced of God’s sovereignty. As always study the whole.

(Joel 2:27- “You will be convinced that I am in the midst of Israel. I am the Lord your God; there is no other. My people will never again be put to shame.

Outpouring of God’s spirit on all kinds of people.

(Joel 2:28-32; (3:1-5) After all of this I will pour out My Spirit on all kinds of people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your elderly will have revelatory dreams; your young men will see prophetic visions. Even on male and female servants. I will pour out My Spirit in those days. (30) I will produce portents both in the sky and on the earth –

blood, fire, and columns of smoke. The sunlight will be turned to darkness and the moon to the color of blood, before the day of the Lord comes – that great and terrible day!

(32; It will so happen that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who survive, just as the Lord has promised; the remnant will be those whom the Lord will call.”)

That Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension was “a beginning” the beginning of His New Covenant church. A spiritual deliverance from the inherited from Adam sin nature and a deliverance to the likeness of Jesus‘ nature. It’s the mystery Paul shared to the called in his letter to the Colossians at chapter 1:26; “that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to His Saints.”

(Col 1:24-29; “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body – for the sake of His body, the church – what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ. I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship from God – given to me for you – in order to complete the word of God, that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to His Saints. God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ. Toward this goal I also labor, struggling according to His power that powerfully works in me.”)

Basically there are two spirits in the world, “the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.” Satan is the Author - source of the divisionary spirit of error, which has many paths. God provides the spirit of truth, which is singular and absolute. Paul explains this revelation to called out Believers.

(1Col 2:6-16; “Now we, apostles do speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing. Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory. (8) None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But just as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love Him.” (Quote of Isaiah 64:4)

(10-13; “God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the - His- Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. (12) Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God. And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.“

(14-16; “The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise Him? But we ‘Believers’ have the mind of Christ.”)

Believing IN can’t be conjured up, “believing IN is by gifted  revelation.” We are encouraged to evaluate ourselves to see whether we are in The Faith

(1Cor 15:50-55; “Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”) ( Quote from Isaiah 25:8 and  Hosea 13:14)

God declares His power and love through Zephaniah.

(Zephaniah 3:6- “I destroyed nations; their walled cities are in ruins. I turned their streets into ruins; no one passes through them. Their cities are desolate; no one lives there. I thought, ‘Certainly you will respect Me! Now you will accept correction!’ If she had done so, her home would not be destroyed by all the punishments I have threatened.

But they eagerly sinned in everything they did. (8) Therefore you, - spiritual Israelites - must wait patiently for Me,” says the Lord, “for the day when I attack and take plunder.

I have decided to gather nations together and assemble kingdoms, so I can pour out My fury on them – all My raging anger. For the whole earth will be consumed by My fiery anger. (9) Know for sure that I will then enable the nations to give Me acceptable praise.

All of them will invoke the Lord’s name when they pray, and will worship Him in unison.

(10-12; From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, those who pray to Me will bring Me tribute. In that day you37 will not be ashamed of all your rebelliousness against Me,

for then I will remove from your midst those who proudly boast, and you will never again be arrogant on My holy hill. (12) I will leave in your midst a humble and meek group of people, and they will find safety in the Lord’s presence.

(13-14; The Israelites who remain will not act deceitfully. They will not lie, and a deceitful tongue will not be found in their mouth. Indeed, they will graze peacefully like sheep and lie down; no one will terrify them.” Shout for joy, Daughter Zion! Shout out, Israel! Be happy and boast with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem!

(15-16; The Lord has removed the judgment against you; He has turned back your enemy. Israel’s king, the Lord, is in your midst! You no longer need to fear disaster. On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Don’t be afraid, Zion! Your hands must not be paralyzed from panic!

(17; The Lord your God is in your midst; He is a warrior who can deliver. He takes great delight in you; He renews you by His love; He shouts for joy over you.”

(18; “As for those who grieve because they cannot attend the festivals – I took them away from you; they became tribute and were a source of shame to you.”

(19-20; Look, at that time I will deal with those who mistreated you. I will rescue the lame sheep and gather together the scattered sheep. I will take away their humiliation

and make the whole earth admire and respect them. At that time I will lead you –

at the time I gather you together. Be sure of this! I will make all the nations of the earth respect and admire you when you see Me restore you,” says the Lord.”)

Jesus had Isaiah, Jeremiah and others prophecy about this final physical deliverance.

Law added to define lawlessness in God’s view.

(Galatians 3:19-22; “Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of The Descendant to whom the promise had been made. It, - the law-  was administered through angels by an intermediary. Now an intermediary is not for one party alone, but God is one. Is the law therefore opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. (22) But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given – because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ – to those who believe.”

Believing IN, Sons of God Are Heirs of Promise

(Galatians 3:23- “Now before - Jesus’ -  faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed.”

All people are under God’s laws because of unbelief. When the Jesus that is revealed in the holy scriptures is revealed and accepted; their outlook is changed from a fleshly to a spiritual outlook. Then obedience becomes an internal gifted desire.

(Galatians 3:24-20; “Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, - is revealed - so that we could be declared righteous by -Jesus’-  faith. But now that -Jesus’- faith has come, -been revealed- we “Believers” are no longer under a guardian. (26) For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through -His- faith. (27) For all of you who were baptized -immersed- into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”)

The new beginning through Abraham is to walk by faith “by gifted believing IN faith; that God the Father and God the Son are one in purpose and promises certain.

Grace, mercy and love, chapter 21

Saturday, June 17th, 2017

6/17/17, God’s 3rd month, Sivan 22, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,539 in resident churches and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

Called out followers of Jesus, “recipients of His Holy Spirit” will be resurrected and given a body likened to His.

(Romans 6:8-14;” Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that since Christ has been raised from the dead, He is never going to die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. For the death He died, He died to sin once for all, but the life He lives, He lives to God. So you too consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

(12-14; “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires and do not present your members to sin as instruments to be used for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members to God as instruments to be used for righteousness. For sin will have no mastery over you, because you are not under law but under grace.”)

When we are spiritually led to stop practicing sin, God doesn’t consider us sinners because we live as His instruments. In the millennium and beyond “followers of Jesus” will rule with Him.

(1Cor 6:3-11; “Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters! So if you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint as judges those who have no standing in the church? I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians? Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. (11) Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ9 and by the Spirit of our God.”)

Unbelievers have always disputed the resurrections; their preference, Satan’s lie regarding immortality. Paul reveals Jesus’ truth to Believers, as always study the whole.

(1Corinthains 15:20-23; “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (21) For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. (23) But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him.“)

After verse 23 Paul skips to New Jerusalem’s coming down.

(24-28; Then comes the end, when He ‘Jesus’ hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For He ‘Jesus’ must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death. (27) For he ‘God the Father’ has put everything in subjection under His ’Jesus’ feet. But when it says “everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the One ’God the Father’ who put everything in subjection to Him. And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be subjected to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.”

(29-34; “Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, then why are they baptized for them? Why too are we in danger every hour? Every day I am in danger of death! This is as sure as my boasting in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. If from a human point of view I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. (33) Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” Sober up as you should, and stop sinning! For some have no knowledge of God – I say this to your shame!

  The Resurrected Body

(1Cor 15:35-41;” But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” Fool! What you sow will not come to life unless it dies. And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare seed – perhaps of wheat or something else. But God gives it a body just as He planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another. And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. The glory of the heavenly body is one sort and the earthly another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for star differs from star in glory.”

(42-44; “It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.”

(45-49; “So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam ‘Jesus’ became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man ‘Adam’ is from the earth, made of dust; the second man ‘Jesus’ is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the One from heaven, so too those who are heavenly.(49) And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.”

   We aren’t born immortal.

(50-55; “Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (53) For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?

(56-58; “The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”)

Jesus calls recipients of His nature “friends.”

(John 15:15-17; “I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from My Father. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. This I command you – to love one another.”

We can’t ask in Jesus’ name, by His authority; unless we are gifted with His Spirit.

   Unbelievers questioned Jesus’ deity.

(John 10:34- Jesus answered, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’? If those people to whom the word of God came were called ‘gods’ (and the scripture cannot be broken), do you say about the One whom the Father set apart and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not perform the deeds of My Father, do not believe Me. But if I do them, even if you do not believe Me, believe the deeds, so that you may come to know and understand that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me.” Then they attempted again to seize Him, but He escaped their clutches.”_

(I said, you are gods? Is a quote from Psalms 82:6. Some debate Jesus’ meaning. However note that Jesus is speaking of those to whom the word of God came. Let’s allow scripture interpret  scripture. The whole line reads “I say, you are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you.” Jesus will pick up on the term “sons of the Most High” in 10:36, where he refers to Himself as the Son of God. If it was an Old Testament practice to refer to men like the judges as gods, and not blasphemy, why did the Jewish authorities object when this term was applied to Jesus? This really doesn’t seem to fit the context, however, since if that were the case Jesus would not be making any claim for “divinity” for himself over and above any other human being – and therefore He would not be subject to the charge of blasphemy. Part of the argument; “Old Testament judges could be called gods is because they were vehicles of the word of God. Granting that premise, Jesus deserves much more than they to be called God. He is the Word incarnate, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world to save the world (John 10:36). In light of the prologue to the Gospel of John, it seems this interpretation would have been most natural for the author. If it is permissible to call men “gods” because they were the vehicles of the word of God, how much more permissible is it to use the word “God” of Him who is the Word of God?)

People gifted with God’s spirit are Son’s of God and

known to Him before the foundation of the world

(Ephesians 1:3-10; “Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed7 us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. For He called us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in His sight in love. (5) He did this by predestining us to adoption as His Sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of His will – to the praise of the glory of His grace that He has freely bestowed on us in His dearly loved Son. (7) In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us in all wisdom and insight. (9) He did this when He revealed to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure that He set forth in Christ, toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ – the things in heaven and the things on earth.” (Remember our previous studies regarding Jesus’ deity?)

(11-14; “In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of Him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His will so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of His glory. (13) And when you heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation) – when you believed in Christ you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit, who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.”

How disseminated to and being built?

(Eph  2:17-22; “And He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near, so that through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the Saints and members of God’s household, (20) because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Cornerstone. In Him the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

  His promises never fail.

(Jeremiah  33:23-26; The Lord spoke still further to Jeremiah. “You have surely noticed what these people are saying, haven’t you? They are saying, ‘The Lord has rejected the two families of Israel and Judah that He chose.’ So they have little regard that My people will ever again be a nation. But I, the Lord, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth. Just as surely as I have done this, so surely will I never reject the descendants of Jacob. Nor will I ever refuse to choose one of My servant David’s descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Indeed, I will restore them and show mercy to them.”)

God the Father is the reason we have a relationship with Jesus:

By revelations, not by human choice so no one can boast.

(1Cor  1:26-31; “Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, so that no one can boast in his presence. He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”)

(Isaiah 50:1-3; “This is what the Lord says: “Where is your mother’s divorce certificate by which I divorced her? Or to which of My creditors did I sell you? Look, you were sold because of your sins; because of your rebellious acts I divorced your mother. Why does no one challenge Me when I come? Why does no one respond when I call? Is My hand too weak to deliver you? Do I lack the power to rescue you? Look, with a mere shout I can dry up the sea; I can turn streams into a desert, so the fish rot away and die from lack of water. (3) I can clothe the sky in darkness; I can cover it with sackcloth.”

The Spokesman, Jesus speaks through Isaiah.

(4-11; The sovereign Lord has given Me the capacity to be His Spokesman, so that I know how to help the weary. He wakes me up every morning; He makes Me alert so I can listen attentively as disciples do. The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me clearly; I have not rebelled, I have not turned back. I offered My back to those who attacked, My jaws to those who tore out My beard; I did not hide My face from insults and spitting. But the sovereign Lord helps Me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason I am steadfastly resolved; I know I will not be put to shame. The One who vindicates Me is close by. Who dares to argue with Me? Let us confront each other! Who is My accuser? Let him challenge Me! (9) Look, the Sovereign Lord helps Me. Who dares to condemn Me? Look, all of them will wear out like clothes; a moth will eat away at them. Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys His servant? Whoever walks in deep darkness, without light, should trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God. Look, all of you who start a fire and who equip yourselves with flaming arrows, walk in the light of the fire you started and among the flaming arrows you ignited! This is what you will receive from Me: you will lie down in a place of pain.”)

How can we not love this One who first loved us?

Grace, mercy and love, chapter 20

Thursday, June 15th, 2017

6/15/17, God’s 3rd month, Sivan 20, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,534 in resident churches and individuals “called to follow Jesus.”

Truth always offends the majority. We need the correct perspective regarding The Church of God and God‘s new covenant with His called out people. We need to understand what the Holy Spirit does for it’s recipients‘. What happens in the minds - the outlook - of followers of Jesus? Those five hundred or so recipients on that Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension? Outlooks were miraculously changed from a fleshly minded desire to be obedience “to a spiritually gifted desire to be at one with Jesus.” A desire to be His slave as each apostle expressed. God’s sending His spirit to miraculously live in His chosen people is the new covenant. It’s the mystery, not understood by the world at large, nor the many using Jesus’ name today.

That Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension was almost three hundred years before the universal church of Rome began using Jesus’ name and usurping people’s minds. Nearly three hundred years before days of the week were named after pagan imaginary gods. The original upheavals in “The Church of God, Jerusalem” were the Pharisees, Sadducees and Synagogue high priest. As the apostles went out establishing churches in gentile communities; obstacles were the goddess Dianna in places like Corinth and the many images depicting the likes of imaginary gods. Riots broke out in many places when people heard about Jesus and the resurrections. In Judea, as Synagogue prestige and power began slipping among the people, the likes of Paul was hired to persecute followers of Jesus. But God was using His energizing Holy Spirit in the minds of people like Stephen.

Study all Stephen’s dissertation to the unbelievers before his murder.

Let’s review major portions here to get a foundational grasp of Jesus good news.

(Acts 6:8-15; “Now Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and miraculous signs among the people. But some men from the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), both Cyrenians and Alexandrians, as well as some from Cilicia and the province of Asia, stood up and argued with Stephen. (10) Yet they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke. Then they secretly instigated some men to say, “We have heard this man speaking blasphemous words against Moses and God.” They incited the people, the elders, and the experts in the law; then they approached Stephen, seized him, and brought him before the council. They brought forward false witnesses who said, “This man does not stop saying things against this holy place and the law. (14) For we have heard him saying that Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.” All who were sitting in the council looked intently at Stephen and saw his face was like the face of an angel.”

God’s energizing Holy Spirit gave a brightness to Stephen’s face and inserted his mind with the truth we need to be teaching our children. A better sermon than Stephens has never been preached! Keep Paul’s Galatians 3:29 text in mind as we Study Stephens words, (And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.)

(Acts 7: Then the high priest said, “Are these things true?” So he replied, “Brothers and fathers, listen to me. The God of glory appeared to our forefather Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he settled in Haran, and said to him, ‘Go out from your country and from your relatives, and come to the land I will show you.’ Then he went out from the country of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. After his father died, God made him move to this country where you now live. (5) He did not give any of it to him for an inheritance, not even a foot of ground, yet God promised to give it to him as his possession, and to his descendants after him, even though Abraham as yet had no child. But God spoke as follows: ‘Your descendants will be foreigners in a foreign country, whose citizens will enslave them and mistreat them for four hundred years. (see Gen 15:13 and Exodus 12:40 which specifies the sojourn as 430 years.) But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ said God, ‘and after these things they will come out of there and worship Me in this place.’

Jesus’ delivering Israel from the bondage of Egypt through Moses is a parallel of the spiritual deliverance of His followers from the bondage of our inherited nature.

(Study God’s circumcision covenant with Abraham and it’s follow up with Isaac and Jacob. Joseph’s transport to Egypt and being made ruler. How a famine caused Jacob and the twelve patriarchs move to Egypt. How that as the time allotted for Israel’s deliverance neared, Moses was born and called to be a deliverer. About Egypt forcing the Israelites to abandon their children to die. Acts 7:8-28) (Moses fled to Midian after assuming his fellow countrymen would recognize him as the one to deliver them )

(Acts 7: 29-30; When the man said this, Moses fled and became a foreigner in the land of Midian, where he became the father of two sons. “After forty years had passed, an angel appeared to him in the desert of Mount Sinai, in the flame of a burning bush.

(31-36; When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight, and when he approached to investigate, there came the voice of the Lord, ‘I am the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.’ Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look more closely. But the Lord said to him, Take the sandals off your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground. I have certainly seen the suffering of My people who are in Egypt and have heard their groaning, and I have come down to rescue them. Now come, I will send you to Egypt.’ This same Moses they had rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge?God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush. (36) This man led them out, performing wonders and miraculous signs in the land of Egypt, at the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.

(37-40; This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.’ This is the man ‘Moses’ who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors, and he received living oracles to give to you. (39) Our ancestors were unwilling to obey him, but pushed him aside and turned back to Egypt in their hearts, saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods who will go in front of us, for this Moses, who led us out of the land of Egypt – we do not know what has happened to him!

(41-44; At that time they made an idol in the form of a calf, brought a sacrifice to the idol, and began rejoicing in the works of their hands. But God turned away from them and gave them over to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: ‘It was not to Me that you offered slain animals and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness, was it, house of Israel? But you took along the tabernacle of Moloch and the star of the god Rephan, the images you made to worship, but I will deport you beyond Babylon.’ (44) Our ancestors had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, just as God who spoke to Moses ordered him to make it according to the design he had seen.

(45-46; Our ancestors received possession of it and brought it in with Joshua when they dispossessed the nations that God drove out before our ancestors, until the time of David. (46) He found favor with God and asked that he could find a dwelling place for the house of Jacob.

(47-50; But Solomon built a house for Him. Yet the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands, as the prophet says, ‘Heaven is My throne, and earth is the footstool for My feet. What kind of house will you build for Me, says the Lord, or what is My resting place? Did My hand not make all these things?

(51-53; “You stubborn people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit, like your ancestors did! Which of the prophets did your ancestors not persecute? They killed those who foretold long ago the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become! You received the law by decrees given by angels, but you did not obey it.”)

This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.’ Jesus is that prophet, Savior, Redeemer, Deliverer, Mediator and coming King of Kings. On that Pentecost after His ascension, God the Father sent His energizing Holy Spirit to live in his chosen people, “the same spirit that energized Jesus in Mary’s womb, causing Elizabeth and baby John in her womb to jump with joy. Even in the flesh God’s energizing Holy Spirit make Jesus at one with His Father and by which He was resurrected after three days.

We reviewed Jesus’ deity in the last study; considering Hebrews 1:, John 1:1-5 and Colossians 1:15-29. Continuing in Acts 8: we see that Paul was present and condoned Stephen’s murder. Most of us know about Paul’s conversion and his teaching letters as Jesus directed.

Paul taught followers of Jesus to learn from Israel’s failures.

(1Corinthaians 10:1- “For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they were all drinking from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ. But God was not pleased with most of them, for they were cut down in the wilderness. (6) These things happened as examples for us, so that we will not crave evil things as they did. So do not be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.” And let us not be immoral, as some of them were, and twenty-three thousand died in a single day. (9) And let us not put Christ to the test, as some of them did, and were destroyed by snakes. And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel. (11) These things happened to them as examples and were written for our instruction, on whom the ends of the ages have come. So let the one who thinks he is standing be careful that he does not fall. No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.”)

The indication is strong that Paul is writing near the Passover - Unleavened Bread season because of his word usage

(1Cor 10:14-22; So then, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. I am speaking to thoughtful people. Consider what I say. Is not the cup of blessing that we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread that we break a sharing in the body of Christ? (17) Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all share the one bread. Look at the people of Israel. Are not those who eat the sacrifices partners in the altar? Am I saying that idols or food sacrificed to them amount to anything? No, I mean that what the pagans sacrifice is to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be partners with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot take part in the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Or are we trying to provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we really stronger than He is?)

In Deuteronomy 4: Jesus had Moses point out to the people that at Mt. Horeb when the commandments were given; they were not allowed to see God’s form nor face and that was reason enough not to make any images to look at for reminders of Him. To do so was an abomination offence. But today’s professing Christians aren’t taught Jesus’ true deity as Paul taught the Corinthians.

Jesus said it; “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. “Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And whoever does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.” Matt 10:34-39)
