God’s Master Plan, chapter 6

/28/17, God’s 4th month, Tammuz 3, 5777 until sunset today. To 4,582 in resident churches and individuals “God has made temples of His spirit,“

Heavenly Father: please grant Your peace to each truth seeker and give us a believing in Jesus faith. Reveal Yourself to our minds and give us the desire to practice Your truths. We ask in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

People fifty and over in this earth’s western nations particularly, can’t help but notice the number of things that are reverse from forty years ago. Countries where the Holy Bible once decorated end tables and citizens mostly held to its values now adhere to all the books says are abominable to God practices. We each could name most of them. Notably western nations have went the way of Sodom and Gomorra. To what is politically correct.

When Barnabas and Paul came back to the church at Antioch, they reported, “all the things God had done through them” credit was given to; “He that opened the door of faith for the Gentiles.” Acts 14:27) No apostle ever boasted of success without sharing who gave it and that they were HIS servants. These understood something that professing Christians seems to have forgotten. That is; “Jesus is the Vine, God the Father is the Gardener and believing IN Faith is a gift. God opens doors of faith when He is ready. Jesus’ apostles knew who was working in them. Jesus proclaimed it.

(John 15:1-3; “I am the true Vine and My Father is the Gardener. My Father takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in Me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. You are clean already because of the Word that I have spoken to you.”) His apostles were called and gifted to believe IN the WORD Jesus spoke to them and that made them clean. Believers IN today search our minds, attempting to discern how so many could refuse to believe IN Jesus as He is manifested to be in the holy scriptures. Yet, His Word tells us that only HE opens the door of faith! All Believers IN Jesus are Abraham’s heirs as Paul explained to God‘s church at Rome and to us..

(Romans 4:1-25; “What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh has discovered regarding this matter? For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God. For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” (See Genesis 15:6) Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation. But to the one who does not work, but believes in the One who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.”

(6-8; So even David himself speaks regarding the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; blessed is the one against whom the Lord will never count sin.” (See also Psalms 32:1-2 and remember from last study, “only God can take away sins.”

(Rom 1:9-12; “Is this blessedness then for the circumcision or also for the un-circumcision? For we say, “faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness.” How then was it credited to him? Was he circumcised at the time, or not? No, he was not circumcised but uncircumcised! And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised, so that he would become the father of all those who believe but have never been circumcised, that they too could have righteousness credited to them. (by their being gifted to believe IN) And Abraham is also the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also walk practicein the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham possessed when he was still uncircumcised.”

(Rom 1:13-17; “For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not fulfilled through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. For if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty and the promise is nullified. For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression either. For this reason it is by faith so that it may be by grace, with the result that the promise may be certain to all the descendants – not only to those who are under the law, but also to those who have the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. (As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations.” See Genesis 17:5) (Romans 4:16-17; comprise one sentence in Greek, but has been divided into two sentences due to English requirements. (The quotation forms a parenthesis in Paul’s argument.) (He “Abraham” is our father in the presence of God whom he believed – the God who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do.)

(Rom 1:18-20; “Against hope Abraham believed in hope with the result that he became the father of many nations according to the pronouncement, “so will your descendants be.” See Genesis 15:5) Without being weak in faith, Abraham considered his own body as dead (because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

(Rom 1:21-25; (He “Abraham” was fully convinced that what God promised He was also able to do. So indeed it was credited to Abraham as righteousness. But the statement it was credited to him was not written only for Abraham’s sake, but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe IN the One who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He ‘Jesus’ was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.”) Jesus ordained that, He and His followers, be Abraham’s heirs and John recorded His Words.

(John 10:14-18; “I am the good shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me – just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father – and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that do not come from this sheepfold. I must bring them too, and they will listen to My voice, so that there will be one flock and one shepherd. (17) This is why the Father loves Me – because I lay down My life, so that I may take it back again. No one takes it “My Life” away from Me, but I lay it down of My own free will. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it back again. This commandment I received from My Father.”) Now back to John and Jesus’ words.

(John 15:4-8; “Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.” I am the Vine; you are the Branches. The one who remains in Me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from Me you can accomplish nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up. (7) If you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you. My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are My disciples.” )

Jesus is not speaking to worldly unbelievers, but to those gifted to believe IN. His subject is faith and growing spiritually. Many unbelieving people are talented, excellent mechanics, teachers etc. but only His sheep comprehend spiritual things. It’s God’s Way that the wheat and weeds grow together, “until His appointed time.” Worldly and spiritual people are in this world together; the spiritually gifted will be in God’s first resurrection. People refusing to turn “repent” during Jesus’ millennial reign will ultimately be burned up.

(John 15:9-17; “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; remain in My love. If you obey My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that, My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. (12) My commandment is this –”to love one another just as I have loved you.” No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. (15) I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have REVEALED to you everything, I heard from My Father. (16) (You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.) (17) This I command you – to love one another.”)

How do we remain in His love? “Love one another and obey Jesus’ commandments.”

We must understand that Jesus is Creator, Re-creator, Sustainer, Redeemer, Mediator and coming King of Kings. Jesus who wrote the ten commandments on tablets of stone. Thus in His parable about Lazarus and a rich man, He states; “if people didn’t believe Moses, neither will they believe if one is raises frim the dead and tells them.”

The result of believing IN, “you will remain in MY love.” “I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete.” This spiritual knowledge that transcends all.

Remember, He no longer calls us slaves, because He reveals to us as friends. Spiritual Israelites are gifted with revealed knowledge of God the Father and God the Son.
