One God, one absolute truth, chapter 4

(To 8,756 “in resident” churches and “people God is calling and make temples of His spirit.”) 1/10/18  God’s 10th month, Tevet 23, 5778 until sunset.

Abraham was gifted to understand the Lord God, “Jesus’” deeds and awesomeness. He knew Isaac was a miraculous gift to he and Sarah “because his birth was by promise and they were past reproductive ages.” When the Lord God ask him to sacrifice Isaac he knew God could return him.

(Gen 17:17-22; “Then Abraham bowed down with his face to the ground and laughed as he said to himself, “Can a son be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Can Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety? Abraham said to God, “O that Ishmael might live before you!” (19) God said, “No, Sarah your wife is going to bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm My covenant with him as a perpetual covenant for his descendants after him. As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will indeed bless him, make him fruitful, and give him a multitude of descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes; I will make him into a great nation. (21) But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.” When he finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.”)

When Isaac was a young boy, the Lord God ’Jesus’ tested Abraham: saying, “sacrifice your only son, When he was about to obey and still believing a sacrifice would be provided, Abraham heard a voice.

(Gen 22:12-14; “Do not harm the boy!” the angel said. “Do not do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God because you did not withhold your son, your only son, from Me.” (13) Abraham looked up and saw behind him a ram caught in the bushes by its horns. So he went over and got the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place “The Lord provides.” It is said to this day, “In the mountain of the Lord provision will be made.”

15-18; The Lord’s angel called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “‘I solemnly swear by My own name,’ decrees the Lord, ‘that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be as countless as the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the strongholds of their enemies. Because you have obeyed Me, all the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.’”

The Lord God. ‘Jesus’ was looking to His second return; when He will usher in a new world order. Jesus gave His apostles this understanding.

(GALATIANS 3:29; “If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.) Oh those wonderful promises! So, Let’s consider another promise God makes to children “who honor their parents in the Lord.”

(Eph 6:1-8; “Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. (2) “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely, “that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth.

     (4) Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but raise them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. (5) Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart as to Christ, not like those who do their work only when someone is watching – as people-pleasers – but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart. Obey with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lord and not people, because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this will be rewarded by the Lord.”)

These UNSELFISH attributes “God develops in Christians.” (Overcoming pride, supposed intellectual superiority, recognizing the demonic power of money and position; “come from gifted spiritual discernment.” Remember Jesus’ Words spoken no less than eight times, “he that overcomes to the end will be saved.”

(Eph 6:9; “Masters, ’employers’ treat your slaves the same way, giving up the use of threats, because you know that both you and they have the same master in heaven, and there is no favoritism with Him.”) Even unbelievers respect fairness but unbelievers cannot conjure up believing IN Jesus faith. Unbelievers don’t comprehend the schemes of the devil. Believers IN are given to understand, “God is allowing Satan to be the god of this age prior to Jesus’ return.”

(Eph 6:10-20; “Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of His power. Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. (14) Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness, by fitting your feet with the preparation that comes from the good news of peace, and in all of this, by taking up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (17) And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the Saints. (19) Pray for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speak – that I may confidently make known the mystery of the gospel, (20) for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.”)

May we each understand the mystery of the gospel, ‘this good news’ and never be ashamed of being Jesus’ ambassadors..

: Jesus and His angelic ambassadors, often manifesting themselves as men. As when visiting Abraham and Sarah in route to Sodom and Gomorra. On that occasion, the birth of Isaac was promised. Sarah laughed to think such a thing possible. When time to go to Sodom came, the Lord said; “Should I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? After all, Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using his name. I have chosen him so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. Then the Lord will give to Abraham what He promised him.”

Abraham was chosen, before the foundation of this earth, There was purpose in Jesus’ choosing Abraham. (Through Abraham’s believing IN faith, his descendents, “including followers of Jesus in this age” keep the ways of God by doing what’s right and just in His view. In the millennial age, “Abraham and his descendents will be awarded all Jesus promised.)

Today all followers of Jesus are Abraham’s spiritual descendents, “a chosen people, gifted by the same promise as heirs with Abraham. (Review Galatians 3:29) Followers of Jesus living by faith are now Abraham’s spiritual heirs.

(Genesis 18:20-21; So the Lord said, “to Abraham” “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so blatant that I must go down and see if they are as wicked as the outcry suggests. If not, I want to know.”) Abraham’s nephew Lot was in that place. Abraham was concerned about Lot and others who might be God fearing. So Abraham proceeded to do a count down, asking the Lord whether Sodom could be spared if certain numbers of righteous people were there.

(Gen 18:32-33; “Finally Abraham said, “May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” The Lord replied, “I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.” The Lord went on His way when He had finished speaking to Abraham.”) Study through the following chapter and consider Jesus’ Words through Jeremiah regarding this age. Remember, followers of Jesus are modern day Israelites, “identified as Jews in. “Jesus’ revelations to John.”

(Jeremiah 23:1-4; “The Lord says, “The leaders of My people are sure to be judged. They were supposed to watch over My people like shepherds watch over their sheep. But they are causing My people to be destroyed and scattered. So the Lord God of Israel has this to say about the leaders who are ruling over His people: “You have caused My people to be dispersed and driven into exile. You have not taken care of them. So I will punish you for the evil that you have done. I, the Lord, affirm it! Then I Myself will re-gather those of My people who are still alive from all the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their homeland. They will greatly increase in number. (4) I will install rulers over them who will care for them. Then they will no longer need to fear or be terrified. None of them will turn up missing. I, the Lord, promise it!”

(23:5-6; “I, the Lord, promise that a new time will certainly come when I will raise up for them a righteous branch, a descendant of David, “Jesus.” He will rule over them with wisdom and understanding and will do what is just and right in the land. Under His rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by: ‘The Lord has provided us with justice.’) When God changed Jacob’s name to Israel, He was in fact saying, “I will fight for you.” The literal meaning of the word. “Israel” is, “God fights.”

(Jeremiah 23:7-8; “So I, the Lord, say: ‘A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with “I swear as surely as the Lord lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.” But at that time they will affirm them with “I swear as surely as the Lord lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where He had banished them.” At that time they will live in their own land.’”)

A supernatural delivery of God’s chosen is on the horizon. A punishment of many denominations and false teachers is surely coming.

(Jeremiah 23:9-10; “Here is what the Lord says concerning the false prophets My heart and My mind are deeply disturbed. I tremble all over. I am like a drunk person, like a person who has had too much wine, because of the way the Lord and His holy Word are being mistreated. For the land is full of people unfaithful to Him. They live wicked lives and they misuse their power. So the land is dried up because it is under His curse. The pastures in the wilderness are withered.”

(Jer 23:11-12; “Moreover, the Lord says, “Both the prophets and priests are godless. I have even found them doing evil in My temple! So the paths they follow will be dark and slippery. They will stumble and fall headlong. For I will bring disaster on them.

A day of reckoning is coming for them.”

.       (Jer 23:13; “The Lord says, “I saw the prophets of Samaria doing something that was disgusting. They prophesied in the name of the god Baal and led My people Israel astray.”) Take the time to research: “many professing Christians’ foundations “is Baal’s teaching.”

When religious teachers condone pagan practices in the name of Jesus; “they are leading people down the broad road that leads to destruction.” May God have  mercy.
