One God, one absolute truth, chapter 5

(To 8,837 “in resident” churches and “people God is calling and make temples of His spirit.”) 1/13/18  God’s 10th month, Tevet 26, 5778 until sunset.

After the Noah day flood, our Creator (the holy scriptures reveal to be the Lord God, ‘Jesus’) made a new beginning through a righteous man named Noah. He was God’s warning witness, “destruction if people didn’t change their ways.” Much later Jesus revealed through Ezekiel.

(Ezek 14:19-20; “Or suppose I were to send a plague into that land, and pour out my rage on it with bloodshed, killing both people and animals. (20) Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, they could not save their own son or daughter; “they would save only their lives by their righteousness.”

(Ezek 14:21- “For this is what the sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send My four terrible judgments – sword, famine, wild animals, and plague – to Jerusalem to kill both people and animals! Yet some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out. They will come out to you, and when you see their behavior and their deeds, you will be consoled about the catastrophe I have brought on Jerusalem – for everything I brought on it. (23) They will console you when you see their behavior and their deeds, because you will know that it was not without reason that I have done everything which I have done in it, declares the sovereign Lord.”)

A new beginning through Abraham. The Lord God, ‘Jesus’ began revealing His disappointments with the world at  large and Israel particularly through His prophets during and after Abraham’s day. The Lord God ’Jesus’ appeared to Abram and said, ’move from this place to where I will show you.” At age 75 he began moving as directed. To Haran, Canaan, Shechem, down to Egypt and the hill country East of Bethel; “there he built an altar. (Gen 12:9; Abram continually journeyed by stages down to the Negev..) Abraham passed his wife, “Sarai” off as his sister. Her beauty caught the attention of  Pharaoh and he brought her to his place, but the Lord struck Pharaoh and his household with severe diseases because of Sarai, So Pharaoh summoned Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife? (Gen 12:19-20; “Why did you say, ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her to be my wife? Here is your wife! Take her and go!” Pharaoh gave his men orders about Abram, and so they expelled him, along with his wife and all his possessions.”)

Abraham and Lot’s processions grew to the point “they agreed to part and afterward kings fought and Abraham went to Lot’s rescue.” (Gen 14:17- After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet Abram in the Valley of Shaveh (known as the King’s Valley).(18) Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (Now he was the priest of the Most High God.) He blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth. Worthy of praise is the Most High God, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything.”)

Salem is traditionally identified as the Jebusite stronghold of old Jerusalem. There’s much speculation about its king. Though some have identified him with the reincarnate Christ or with Noah’s son Shem. Melchizedek is an angelic ambassador of Jesus’ or Jesus Himself. He was used to renew promises of  blessing to Abram. Never the less, Abram considered Melchizedek his spiritual superior. He appears on the scene without a genealogy and then disappears from the narrative. In Psalm 110 the Lord declares that the Davidic king is a royal priest after the pattern of Melchizedek. In his royal priestly status “Melchizedek is a type of Christ:” Superior to the ancestors of Israel, “both a king and a priest.” “Melchizedek served “God Most High” “One sovereign God, who was the creator of all the universe. Abram had in Melchizedek a spiritual brother.

(Gen 14:21 Then the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people and take the possessions for yourself.” But Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I raise my hand to the Lord, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow that I will take nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal. That way you can never say, ‘It is I who made Abram rich.’ I will take only compensation for what the young men have eaten. As for the share of the men who went with me – Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre – let them take their share.”

Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything, butt he kept nothing for himself. The world at large was going the way that seemed right: then and now; “only people to whom God reveals Himself to forsake their way for His way, Continuing from the last study: the Lord God ‘Jesus’ is prophesying through Jeremiah.

(Jer 23:14: “But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to Me and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.”) Did the Roman Catholic Pope recently say “he could not judge homosexuality?”

(Jer 23:15-21; “So then I, the Lord who rules over all, have something to say concerning the prophets of Jerusalem: ‘I will make these prophets eat the bitter food of suffering and drink the poison water of judgment. For the prophets of Jerusalem are the reason that ungodliness has spread throughout the land.’” The Lord who rules over all says to the people of Jerusalem: (“Do not listen to what those prophets are saying to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They are reporting visions of their own imaginations, not something the Lord has given them to say. They continually say to those who reject what the Lord has said, ‘Things will go well for you!’ They say to all those who follow the stubborn inclinations of their own hearts, ‘Nothing bad will happen to you!’ Yet which of them has ever stood in the Lord’s inner circle, so they could see and hear what he has to say? Which of them have ever paid attention or listened to what He has said? But just watch! The wrath of the Lord will come like a storm! Like a raging storm it will rage down on the heads of those who are wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until He has fully carried out His intended purposes. In days to come you people will come to understand this clearly. I did not send those prophets. Yet they were in a hurry to give their message. I did not tell them anything. Yet they prophesied anyway.”) The Lord God has not authorized the various seminary schools.

(Jer 23:22-24; “But if they had stood in My inner circle, they would have proclaimed My message to My people. They would have caused My people to turn from their wicked ways and stop doing the evil things they are doing. Do you people think that I am some local deity and not the transcendent God?” the Lord asks. “Do you really think anyone can hide himself where I cannot see him?” the Lord asks. “Do you not know that I am everywhere?” the Lord asks.”)

(Jer 23:25-27; “The Lord says, “I have heard what those prophets who are prophesying lies in My name are saying. They are saying, ‘I have had a dream! I have had a dream!’ Those prophets are just prophesying lies. They are prophesying the delusions of their own minds. How long will they go on plotting to make My people forget who I am, through the dreams they tell one another? That is just as bad as what their ancestors did when they forgot who I am by worshiping the god Baal.”)

(Jer 23:28-32; “Let the prophet who has had a dream go ahead and tell his dream. Let the person who has received My message report that message faithfully. What is like straw cannot compare to what is like grain! I, the Lord, affirm it! My message is like a fire that purges dross! It is like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces! I, the Lord, so affirm it! So I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who steal messages from one another that they claim are from Me. I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who are using their own tongues to declare, ‘The Lord declares….’ I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who dream up lies and report them. They are misleading My people with their reckless lies. I did not send them. I did not commission them. They are not helping these people at all. I, the Lord, affirm it!”)

(Jer 23:33-34; “The Lord said to me, “Jeremiah, when one of these people, or a prophet, or a priest asks you, ‘What burdensome message do you have from the Lord?’ Tell them, ‘You are the burden, and I will cast you away. I, the Lord, affirm it! I will punish any prophet, priest, or other person who says “The Lord’s message is burdensome.” I will punish both that person and his whole family.”

(Jer 23:35-40; “So I, Jeremiah, tell you, “Each of you people should say to his friend or his relative, ‘How did the Lord answer? Or what did the Lord say?’ You must no longer say that the Lord’s message is burdensome. For what is ‘burdensome’ really pertains to what a person himself says. You are misrepresenting the words of our God, the living God, the Lord who rules over all. Each of you should merely ask the prophet, ‘What answer did the Lord give you? Or what did the Lord say?’ But just suppose you continue to say, ‘The message of the Lord is burdensome.’ Here is what the Lord says will happen: ‘I sent word to you that you must not say, “The Lord’s message is burdensome.” But you used the words “The Lord’s message is burdensome” anyway. So I will carry you far off and throw you away. I will send both you and the city I gave to you and to your ancestors out of My sight. I will bring on you lasting shame and lasting disgrace which will never be forgotten!’”)

There are many examples of religious teachers leaving the principles of Godly love. Teaching God’s commandments and the rearing of Godly children are burdensome. God’s message is not burdensome, It may be considered burdensome to people who love this world’s system of things. As with the family structure and in the rearing of children, people that love this world’s system of things desire to be politically correct, popular with the majorities, rather that practice the freedom of Godly love.

(Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.) God’s old and new

covenants are “same in principle.” That principle? Godly love respects authority. Jesus’ apostle Paul taught it too.

(Eph 6:1-3; Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely, “that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth.”)

Paul is remembering Deuteronomy 5:16; “Honor your father and your mother just as the Lord your God has commanded you to do, so that your days may be extended and that it may go well with you in the land that He is about to give you.) “Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: “so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.”” Romans 3:4)

A Godly child’s foundation must be; “Letting the God of Noah, Seth, Abraham, Jeremiah, Jesus and His twelve apostles be proven true. Every other disagreeing individual be proven a liar. Only possible when people are yielded to the real Lord God, ’Jesus’ and shunning this world’s system of things.
