The Family, (God’s Household) chapter 12

(To 9,747) In resident churches: “A predestined people being made temples of His spirit.” 2/26/18  God’s 12th month, Adar 11, 5778 until sunset.

Genuine repentance is gifted when God reveals Himself and gives the desire to know Him intimately. God and followers of Jesus are One in purpose, desire and family. Followers of Jesus are spiritually led to repent for having ever desired to usurp God’s authority. Jesus inspired His apostle Paul to share His motivation and the motivation Christians must grow to.

(Philippians  2:3-11; “Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself. Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature. He humbled Himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross. (9) As a result God, ’Our Father’ exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth –  and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.”)

Genuine repentance is to desire a nature change; from that inherited from Adam to one gifted by God our Father, that is likened to Jesus’. Jesus shared our human nature, but humbled Himself to become obedient to the Father’s will.

Since Jesus’ personal ministry on earth and particularly since His ascension, “His followers, regardless of heritage become spiritual Israelites “ (As were the Israelites “by promise and predestined” a set aside “sanctified” people of God’s choosing, “so are followers of Jesus.”) Israelites were predestined by promise to Abraham, “to be delivered from Egyptian bondage:” which represents sin. .Not for any good works, but by promise to Abraham. These things were revealed to Jesus’ apostles; have been revealed to His followers past and are being revealed to His followers present.

(2Timothy 1:9-10; “He ’Jesus’ is the One who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on His own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. He has broken the power of death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!)

Heavenly Father: make us mindful that You make rules for our well being. Help us understand; “Your Ways are holy, righteous and good.” Make us mindful: “it’s Your righteous planning on our behalf: the reason we’re called  and it’s our joint purpose to rid this earth of evil.” Please gift us to desire Your kingdom’s soon coming. We ask in Jesus’ holy name. AMEN

Worldly religions do not understand God‘s; “grace, mercy, love and planning.” They reject God’s Ways and make their own rules fit their particular liking. Such thinking make people vulnerable to their fleshly nature and Satan’s demonic way. Until God intervenes, reveals Himself and grants repentance, “people are natural idolaters!” In the flesh people idolizing worldly possessions, revere other people and power. Make heroes of people fitting their fleshly ideals. These natural inclinations, “are the way to eternal death.”

(Prov 14:12; “There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way that leads to death.”

Few are spiritually led to understand: “all people inherited several problems at birth.” (1) Our fleshly nature wants it’s own way, (the way that seems right) rather than God’s Way. (2) Satan’s, “get way” appeals to our self serving nature. (3) People don’t naturally discern that repentance is; “yielding to what God says is right and forsaking what may seems right to our fleshly inherited nature.”

Only when God spiritually intervenes, “do people discern: “it’s idolatry to reject God’s Ways.” Deciding for self, what’s right, wrong, good and evil is idolatry and “makes people their own little gods.” Yielding to worldly generated influences, “is yielding to the demonic.” (We know this because, “God says, “Satan is the god of this world, ‘age.’”) A yielding to worldly influences that disagrees with God’s Way, “is proof that people aren’t believers IN God.” (NOW, most people do believe, “a supernatural deity exist” but few are led to study His Word and seek to know Him as He is manifested to be in His own inspired prophetic revelations through His prophets and apostles.) Few are spiritually gifted to discern that Jesus is the Creator Son of God the Father. (Thus, until God reveals Himself, people are not naturally willing to forsake the ways that seem right to their fleshly inherited nature.) Consider Paul’s words to called out people “led to believe IN.”

(2 Corinthians 4:1-6; “Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, we do not become discouraged. But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or distorting the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience before God. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. (6) For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.”) (See Isaiah 9:2 & Gen 1:3, also) Jesus is the One “the Spokesperson” saying; (“Let there be light.” And there was light!)

People living the way that seems right to themselves and rejecting God’s Way are, “those perishing.” Satan’s influence in the world, “blinds the minds of fleshly minded unbelievers.” Worldly religions do not seem to grasp that Jesus manifested Himself as, “the Christ, “who is the image of God the Father.” So, what about, “those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ? Are they doomed to eternal punishment? NO. Are deceased unbelievers in a place of torment? NO. Will they be resurrected and face God’s judgment? YES.

Worldly religions aren’t gifted to understand the grace, mercy and loving ways of our Creator God. They don’t know His planning is certain.

(Isa 14:24; The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow: “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen.)

Preferring to believe a demonic doctrine of, “an ongoing ever burning hell fire that’s punishes bad folks forever, “because they erroneously believe people are born immortal at birth.” Mainly, these views come from Satan’s two lies and his deceptive foundation.

After the devil questioned Eve about what God had said, Eve replied; “God said, ‘We must not eat from it, “the forbidden” and not touch it, or else we will die.” Gen 3:3) Then the devil called God a liar, saying to Eve, “Surely you will not die, for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.” Gen 3:4-5) Lie number (1) “surely you will not die.” (Meaning you are born immortal“ that is: born to live forever someplace.) Lie number (2) “You will be like divine being who know good and evil.” That is: “as divine beings, you will know what’s right.”

(All worldly religions practice and live as if they believe in these two demonic lies!)

Worldly religions’ “doctrinal foundational hinges on Satan’s two lies.” (Hinduism, Islam, Catholics, Protestants and the rest, “teach some form of these two lies.” (1) All people live forever someplace after death. (2) We’re divine, “have the smarts to make our own rules about good, evil, right and wrong.

People believing IN, the God of Abraham “yield to God’s View, regarding good, evil, right and wrong.” Refuse to shun ways; “God’s Word says are an abomination to Him.” Followers of Jesus are mindful that abominations to God, “are to us also.” Things God’s Word says are holy to Him, “are holy to Believers IN Him.”

When worldly religions question Jesus’ teaching through Paul regarding, “those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ.” They assume their particular group is enlightened. But, when they’re resurrected, “they will see God‘s Way in progress; it‘s goodness: then many will be gifted with repentant minds!” All will be resurrected, each in their own order. (See 1Cor 5:22-23; “For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him.” As Jesus restored Lazarus’ back to life in the flesh; “after being dead four days;” God can restore life after hundreds or thousands of years! All will be righteously judged.

Called out Christians; “having these precious truth revealed in this age.” Followers of Jesus are being judged in this age!” Born from above, followers of Jesus, “recipients of His Holy Spirit;” will be in the first resurrection. Jesus’ promises are certain. (To His disciples Jesus says; (“Do not let your hearts be distressed. You believe in God; believe also in Me. There are many dwelling places in My Father’s house. ‘Otherwise, I would have told you,’ because I am going away to make ready a place for you. And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come again and TAKE you to be with Me, so that where I am you may be too. And you know the way where I am going.” John 14:1-3)

Believing IN, “followers of Jesus” are spirit led to turn from what seems right to the fleshly inherited nature and stand firm, “overcome the flesh” to the end.” Digest Paul’s words to Believers.

(1 Corinthians 15:1-11; “Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand, and by which you are being saved, “if you hold firmly to the message” I preached to you – unless you believed in vain. For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received – that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, “Peter” then to the twelve. (6) Then He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. (8) Last of all, as though to one born at the wrong time, He appeared to me also. For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me has not been in vain. In fact, I worked harder than all of them – yet not I, but the grace of God with me. (11) Whether then it was I or they, this is the way we preach and this is the way you believed.”)

Few think of their sin being as egregious as Paul’s, but the fact is, “none of us are worthy of God’s forgiveness.” Paul is writing to a Corinthian congregation and to all followers of Jesus. He is NOT writing to the unbelieving citizens in Corinth: nor to unbelievers in this age. He is writing to recipients of “the good news” about Jesus. To people standing on truth and mindful that they are being saved. (People with knowledge of Jesus’ resurrection on the third day as He said He would be.) People believing IN, “Jesus’ appearing to many witnesses.” People believing IN the miracle of, “their own minds having been opened.”

Jesus said that His words would be our judge. (If anyone hears “understands” My words and does not obey them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world. The one who rejects Me and does not accept My words has a judge; the word I have spoken will judge him at the last day.” John 12:47-48) )

The primary and final judgment, is what Jesus is referring to as the “last day.” The Feast of Tabernacles will be celebrated during Jesus’ millennial rule and the eighth day of the feast is called, “the last great day.” Jesus and His followers keep His holy days.

(John 7:37-39; “On, the last day of the feast, “the greatest day” Jesus stood up and shouted out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me, and let the one who believes IN Me drink. Just as the scripture says, ‘From within Him will flow rivers of living water.’” (Now He said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed IN Him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.”)

We believe, “that Last Great Day” foreshadows the end time judgment. We know, the Feast of Tabernacles foreshadows Jesus’ thousand year, “millennial” rule on this earth.

Believers IN Jesus “are spiritual Israelites and heirs with Abraham.” (See Galatians 3:29) A large portion of this earth’s populations are Abraham’s physical descendents. Paul wrote to the Romans.

(Rom 11:25-27; “For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”) (Study God’s word regarding Israel’s future deliverance. See Isa 22:, 35: , 51:, 65:. and Jeremiah 31:. Consider that, “in the flesh we are desperately wicked: Jer 17:9)

Jesus revealed these things to His apostles and is now revealing them to His followers in this age. To John, in His book titled “Jesus’ Revelations to John” the end of unrighteousness is revealed. May we Believers IN, overcome, “conquer” to the end.

Consider Jesus’ revelations to John regarding judgment and a second death again.

(Rev 21:7-8; “The one who conquers ’overcomes’ will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”)

We repeat, worldly religions don’t understand God’s grace, mercy and loving ways He has planned. They reject God’s Ways and make denominational rules fit their particular doctrines..
