The Family, (God’s Household) chapter 15

(To 9,846) To in home churches:: “People being made temples of His spirit.” 3/5/18  God’s 12th month, Adar 17, 5778 until sunset.

We should try not to judge, but teach truth and know God does the rest. When God is giving an individual the desire to be a follower of Jesus; “we believe it begins with a spirit gifted desire to be obedient to His commandments.” We also believe “the many attempting to follow Jesus yield to a fleshly desire to live a cleaner or more wholesome life.” That is good, but there is a down side when they’re led to a denomination of choice. Such yielding from one’s fleshly rationale - nature; rather than individually seeking God’s truth from His holy scriptures leads. Seeking a denomination may feel good inwardly “but leads to pagan worship. Let’s prayerfully consider Paul’s words to an obedient to The Way group.

(Philippians 2:12-13; So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, for the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of his good pleasure – is God.”) Many assume Paul’s saying, “working out your own salvation” gives latitude to trust one’s intellect. If God is bringing forth the desire and effort; its to “The Way” not “a way.”

It’s natural to ponder the arrogance of the many denominations. They each live as little gods to themselves: “assume their way is truth.” Not understanding that we each amount to less than one grain of sand on a beach in God’s universe. Nations are but a drop of water in a desert to God. To the best of our knowledge, “no head of state publicly acknowledges God as He is manifested to be in the holy scriptures. (Jesus once ask the question, “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” Luke 18:8)

We should know; “Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. Creator, ReCreator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Savior and Mediator before God the Father on our behalf.” Even when Adam was being created, “Jesus knew the outcome of their temptation and the outcome of His own work of reconciling the world to Himself.”

It was God the Father and God the Son’s plan and will, “that Jesus be tempted of the devil, overcome on our behalf and for our example.” (During the temptation, Satan quoted from Psalms 91:2 and Jesus quoted from Deuteronomy 6:13, 17 and 8:3.)

(Matthew 4:1-11; “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After He fasted forty days and forty nights He was famished. The Tempter came and said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.” But Jesus answered, “It is written, ‘Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (5) Then the devil took Him to the holy city, had Him stand on the highest point of the temple, and said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning You and ‘with their hands they will lift You up, so that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’” (7) Jesus said to him, “Once again it is written: ‘You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.’” Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur. (9) And he said to Him, “I will give you all these things if you throw Yourself to the ground and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.’” (11) Then the devil left Him, and angels came and began ministering to His needs.”)

The love of God on display! (God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.) Everything from the creation of Adam, Moses’ calling, Jesus’ delivering the Israelites from Egyptian bondage and the temple services: all point to Jesus and what He did on our behalf. Jesus told Nicodemus he should know these things..

(John 3:14-21; “Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes IN Him may have eternal life.” For this is the way God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes IN Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. (18) The one who believes in Him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the One and only Son of God. (19) Now this is the basis for judging: that The Light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. (21) But the one who practices The Truth comes to the light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God.”)

TO believe IN JESUS is to seek to know Him and desire to obey Him as He manifest Himself to be in the holy scriptures. This world is going to be saved through Jesus! Not by worldly religions! Worldly religious denominations are about membership; influence for the sake of pride and profit. Believing IN and practicing His truth is Jesus’ commands.

Jesus is now lifted up; “at the right hand of His Father and preparing to come and take Believers.” New Jerusalem is coming down with it’s 12 gates named for the 12 tribes of Israel and it’s 12 foundations named for the twelve apostles of the Lamb! (Rev 21:12-14).

(John 14:1-14; “Do not let your hearts be distressed. You believe in God; believe also in Me. There are many dwelling places in My Father’s house. Otherwise, I would have told you, because I am going away to make ready a place for you. And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come again and take you to be with Me, so that where I am you may be too. And you know the way where I am going.” (5 )Thomas said, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus replied, “I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (7) If you have known Me, you will know My Father too. And from now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” (8) Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be content.” Jesus replied, “Have I been with you for so long, and you have not known Me, Philip? The person who has seen Me has seen the Father! How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father residing in Me performs His miraculous deeds. (11) Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me, but if you do not believe Me, believe because of the miraculous deeds themselves. I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes IN Me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14) If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”)

We cannot be Jesus’ ambassador or ask in Jesus’ name without God the Father’ revelations. Be called and made at ONE with Himself. (Asking in the name of Jesus, is to ask in the nature “spirit” of Jesus.) When God’s spirit is imputed to our minds, we desire to be AT ONE with Jesus just as Jesus is AT ONE with His Father. “Thus our faith’s desires are that which pleases Him.” What Believer IN, would want a mountain removed if it were not in God’s will? Who would want healing, except it be in God’s will? (From our inherited fleshly logic: “motivations are self serving. Conduct advertised healing services and the so called “name and claim it doctrine.”  Consider James’ understanding about such inherited fleshly logic.

(James 4:1-3; “Where do the conflicts and where do the quarrels among you come from? Is it not from this, from your passions that battle inside you? You desire and you do not have; you murder and envy and you cannot obtain; you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask; you ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, so you can spend it on your passions.”)

Who discerns and recognizes our own fleshly motivations? Question? Is a person claiming to be Christian and “NOT practice God’s truth, a spiritual adulterer?

(James 4:4-10; “Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy. Or do you think the scripture means nothing when it says, “The spirit that God caused to live within us has an envious yearning”? (6) But He gives greater grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.” So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn, and weep. Turn your laughter into mourning and your joy into despair. (10) Humble yourselves before the Lord and He will exalt you.”)

Only God can give us to recognize the envious yearning in our inherited from Adam nature? What’s the motivating source when our prayers aren‘t from with the will of God?, If we are aren’t practicing God’s truths? What’s the motivation in telling someone, “I prayed for you.” What is the religious source when someone isn’t practicing God the Father and God the Son‘s commands? Don’t we understand that Satan manifest himself as an angel of light? (Study 2Cor 11:14) Are we spirit led to pray sincerely about our internal motivations inherited from Adam? Remember Jesus’ Words through Paul.

(“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all are made alive.” 1 Cor 15:22)

De we understand the need, “in asking God for a nature change?”
