John The Apostle, chapter 28

To: 11,393 Persons being made temples of His spirit: Churches of God.

6/14/18, God’s 4th month, Tammuz 1, 5778 until sunset.

Observe God’s new moon: His fourth month. When Jesus returns we’ll do away with pagan calendars and times honoring imaginary gods. Satan is the world’s friend, “enemy of the Lord God and His followers. Satan desires to separate us from God’s way. He doesn’t want believers IN Jesus to know they have immortality, be in the first resurrections, “born again” to Jesus’ spiritual likeness.” We must know Satan is getting more ruthless in these latter days. More people are being demonically possessed.

Remember Jesus’ conversation with Zachariah’s sisters at John 11:23. Jesus replied, “Your brother will come back to life again.. Martha said, “I know that he will come back to life again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes IN Me will live even if he dies, and the one who lives and believes IN Me will never die. Do you believe this?” She replied, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God who comes into the world.”)

Jesus is saying, (1) People believing IN Him will live even if they die. (2) People living and believing in Me when I return will never die.  (1Cor 15:51-52; Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.”)

Consider Paul’s whole summation in Corinthians 15:

(15:42-44; “It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam “Jesus” became a life-giving spirit. (46) However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual.

(Immortality is when, “the natural is impregnated with God’s spirit.)

(47-49; “The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the one from heaven, so too those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.”)

(50-55; “Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we ‘who are alive’ will be changed.  For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. (54) Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen,

Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”)

(This is what the annual holy Sabbath Trumpets foreshadows and why it‘s important to keep it.)

(56-58; The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”) The law demands death for disobedience. Praise God, Jesus made the way and all who don’t subscribe to the way, will die a second death. (See Revelations 21:8, “discern characteristics to be turned from.)

(21:8; “But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”)

(John 11:45-48; “Then many of the people, who had come with Mary and had seen the things Jesus did, believed IN Him. But some of them went to the Pharisees and reported to them what Jesus had done. So the chief priests and the Pharisees called the council together and said, “What are we doing? For this man is performing many miraculous signs. If we allow Him to go on in this way, everyone will believe IN Him and the Romans will come and take away our sanctuary and our nation.”)

This world’s religions don’t want God’s truth taught. They’re negative about Jesus’ second coming. Jesus and His followers; will forcefully take power from this world’s demonic leaders, bind Satan one thousand years and bring peace to this earth. Then all will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord. (Jesus ask that we read Revelations out loud.)

During times before John the Baptist and Jesus’ earthly miniseries, “temple Priest were sometimes given revelations and prophesied.” When Zachariah, “John the Baptist’s dad” was High Priest, an angel visited him and told of John’s birth. Now High Priest, “Caiaphas” shares a revelation. At this point God was still using the Synagogues for His purpose. Jesus sent some He Healed, to show themselves to the Priest according to how He had instructed Moses. After Jesus resurrected Lazarus the talk was, “all people would turn to Jesus.” (Authorities’ thinking was that Rome would take away their positions.) Let’s remember, “Jesus’ New Testament Church’s birth began on that Pentecost after His ascension.”

John 11:49-52; “Then one of them, Caiaphas, who was High Priest that year, said, “You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is more to your advantage to have one man die for the people than for the whole nation to perish.” (Now Caiaphas did not say this on his own, but because he was high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the Jewish nation, and not for the Jewish nation only, but to gather together into one, the children of God who are scattered.”)

Caiaphas’ prophecy? “Jesus  will again deliver the scattered tribes of Israel.” He will yet miraculously gather His chosen to their former boundaries promised Abraham. Zephaniah and Isaiah prophesied the same.

(Zephaniah 3:19-20; “Look, at that time I will deal with those who mistreated you. I will rescue the lame sheep And gather together the scattered sheep. I will take away their humiliation and make the whole earth admire and respect them. At that time I will lead you – at the time I gather you together. Be sure of this! I will make all the nations of the earth respect and admire you when you see ME restore you,” says the Lord.)

Jesus died for the sins of the world and promises to Abraham include restoring His chosen people. It’s not likely; Caiaphas understood the degree in which his prophecy paralleled Isaiah’s and Zephaniah’s. (Now Jesus knew the next Passover would be about His giving His life for the sins of the world as preplanned.

(John 11:53-57; “So from that day they planned together to kill Jesus. Thus Jesus no longer went around publicly among the Judeans, but went away from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and stayed there with His disciples. Now the Jewish Feast of Passover was near, and many people went up to Jerusalem from the rural areas before the Passover to cleanse themselves ritually. Thus they were looking for Jesus, and saying to one another as they stood in the temple courts, “What do you think? That He won’t come to the Feast?” (57) (Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that anyone who knew where Jesus was should report it, so that they could arrest Him.)

Israelites were keeping the Passover as commanded. The Feast of Unleavened Bread, began the day after, “with the holy annual Sabbath day.” People putting leavening out from their shelters was for ceremonially cleansing themselves of sins. The custom reminds us to, “overcome sin to the end.” Every Christian‘s goal is to stop practicing lawlessness, “sin” and practice Jesus’ righteous Ways. God gives the desire to overcome our inherited sin nature and Satan’s obstacles to the end.
