Truth Gem

Many who might otherwise seek God’s truth are led to a religious comfort zones by clergy people with agendas, some deceived by denominations who make merchandise of people, some inherit positions, for others it’s a chosen feel good vocation. Generally these have two or more things in common. (1) They aren’t aware “we can’t keep pagan times and serve God” “we can’t serve two masters.” (2) They teach “folks can be saved by choice. through a methodology of steps and exercises. (3) They lean heavy toward changing popular tradition, “rather than seek the unchanging ways of God.” (4) Generally they see nothing wrong with practices what’s abominable to God, “that in part is because they don’t know, “Father and Son are as one” and in part “not knowing the Father has allocated all things to the Son.) Once led to a religious comfort zone and socializing with like minded; “ a miraculous calling is the only way out.

Six seals represent hardships caused by Satan. The fifth is the dead in Christ asking “how long? The sixth is about end age difficult times “the tribulation.” It’s time we pray for “shortening of time for the Elect’s sake.”

(Rev 7:1-8; “After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, so no wind could blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree. Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, who had the seal of the living God. He shouted out with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given permission to damage the earth and the sea: (3) “Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Now I heard the number of those who were marked with the seal, one hundred and forty-four thousand, sealed from all the tribes of the people of Israel: (5) From the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad, twelve thousand, (6) from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand, (7) from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand were sealed.”)

God’s promises to Abraham, Moses and prophets are many and perpetual. Physical Israelites will yet inhabit the territory allotted to Abraham’s descendents. Many are called to become spiritual Israelites, gifted with a circumcision of the heart. Kingdom of God established on earth with “His followers” serving with Jesus. People judged by Jesus’ word. New Jerusalem’s coming down with its twelve gates named for the twelve tribes of Israel and its twelve foundations named for Jesus’ twelve apostles. All people belonging to Jesus are spiritual Israelites and Abraham’s heirs.” (See Gal 3:29) The 144,000 are Israelites and Saints prayers remembered.

Resurrected to a spiritual life. (Rev 7:9-12; “After these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands. They were shouting out in a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God, to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (11) And all the angels stood there in a circle around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they threw themselves down with their faces to the ground before the throne and worshiped God, saying, (“Amen! Praise and glory, and wisdom and thanksgiving, and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”)

Our Creator’s Way, characteristics, planning, righteousness, holiness and merciful, “reveals His identify in part.” God the Father and God the Son, “Jesus” are atOne. From our perspective we may say, they‘re “as One,” as a husband - wife relationship should be. (AtOne as Jesus’ relationship to His church mimics His relationship with the Father.) Thus, “Father and Son are One” “Jesus and His church are One” “Members of His church are One.” (Now we’ll see the example of His last being first as revealed to John. (Overcoming people during the turbulent tribulation are special because of their perseverance.)

Saints. (Rev 7:13-16; “Then one of the elders asked me, “These dressed in long white robes – who are they and where have they come from?” So I said to him, “My lord, you know the answer.” Then He said to me, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb! (15) For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple, and the One seated on the throne will shelter them. They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat, because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”)

Except there be repentance “likened to Nineveh’s after Jonah’s message was preached to them” a Great Tribulation period is coming on this demonically led world. We aren’t setting dates, “even if it’s two hundred plus years, that’s soon on God’s time table.” Jesus revealed to His prophets and they to us, “this world’s populous will mirror Sodom and Gomorrah’s way” before Jesus’ return. Jesus’ prophesied Great Tribulation time is punishment for disobedience to His Way and a testing time for many.

Think of Nineveh’s repentance after Jonah preached, “abominable to God and He planned their destruction. God was making the pronouncement through Jonah. (study Jonah) But the people repented and God changed His mind. (Perhaps getting His message out with much prayer, many will turn and God shorten time more than planned.) (Jesus said; “for the Elect’s sake” time will be shortened. see Matthew 24:22) In Jesus’ Revelations to John, He prophesies that worldly minded people would harden their hearts, rather than repent. Rather than turn from their evil ways. May we each turn to God and pray, “for even more shortening of the time, for the Elect‘s sake.”.

Seventh seal, Prayers of the Saints. (Rev 8:1-5; “Now when the Lamb opened the seventh seal there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel holding a golden censer came and was stationed at the altar. A large amount of incense was given to him to offer up, with the prayers of all the Saints, on the golden altar that is before the throne. The smoke coming from the incense, along with the prayers of the Saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it on the earth, and there were crashes of thunder, roaring, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.”) Seventh seal is also judgment, “foreshadowed by the seventh annual Sabbath, ‘The Last Great Day.’ Some think this is God’s releasing the warring demonic nations and John describing modern warfare. Perhaps we don’t need to take a stand on these issues. Perhaps we don’t need to understand it all.

First Angel. (Rev 8:6-7; “Now the seven angels holding the seven trumpets prepared to blow them. The first angel blew his trumpet, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was thrown at the earth so that a third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.”)

Second Angel (8-9; “Then the second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain of burning fire was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea became blood, and a third of the creatures living in the sea died, and a third of the ships were completely destroyed.”)

Third Angel. (Rev 8:10-11; “Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and a huge star burning like a torch fell from the sky; it landed on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. (Now the name of the star is Wormwood.) So a third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from these waters because they were poisoned.”)

Fourth Angel. (Rev 8:12- “Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. And there was no light for a third of the day and for a third of the night likewise. Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying directly overhead, proclaiming with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth because of the remaining sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are about to blow them!”) Note the division between the first four and the last three. Consider the significance of the number seven, to our Creator. Is God allowing John to visualize the effect of modern warfare?

Fifth Angel. (Rev 9:1-11; “Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star “angelic being” that had fallen from the sky to the earth, and he the star was given the key to the shaft of the abyss. He opened the shaft of the abyss and smoke rose out of it like smoke from a giant furnace. The sun and the air were darkened with smoke from the shaft. Then out of the smoke came locusts onto the earth, and they were given power like that of the scorpions of the earth. They were told not to damage the grass of the earth, or any green plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their forehead. The locusts were not given permission to kill them, but only to torture them for five months, and their torture was like that of a scorpion when it stings a person. In those days people will seek death, but will not be able to find it; they will long to die, but death will flee from them. Now the locusts looked like horses equipped for battle. On their heads were something like crowns similar to gold, and their faces looked like men’s faces. They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. They had breastplates like iron breastplates, and the sound of their wings was like the noise of many horse-drawn chariots charging into battle. They have tails and stingers like scorpions, and their ability to injure people for five months is in their tails. They have as king over them the angel of the abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.” (The Hebrew Abaddon and the Greek Apollyon mean “Destroyer.”)

Some think Jesus is allowing John to see, jets, rockets etc. The angel of the abyss is likely Satan, “persons or beings he controls.” These plagues are because the world‘s god is Satan, “all but God’s Elect” are deceived. Divided by Satan and demonically led people thinking as Cain, “who said to himself, surely God will be pleased with this other way.” NOW, what if we aren’t understanding to the degree God would have us to? We have the latitude to speculate “but not to teach our speculation as truth.”

In chapter nine, “Jesus reveals that God’s Elect will be protected while many suffer five months.” The destroyer is released. “Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying directly overhead, proclaiming with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth because of the remaining sounds of the trumpets of the three angels who are about to blow them!” Two more are about to sound.

Jesus’ Revelations to John, apostles and His church, chapter 3

To: “His Church” People desiring to be atOne with God. Israelites Abroad. (1/25/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 19, until sunset.

Regardless the country we live, followers of Jesus can say with Jesus and His apostles, “our kingdom isn’t of this world.” Worldly preachers get worked up on everything but, “abominable to God” things, some being, sexual sins, abortion and not remembering His Sabbaths. (Rev 1:7; “John was in the spirit on the Lord’s day.”) Most translators put tradition ahead of fact, lean toward “the Lord’s day being equivalent to the first day of the week.” In part because of the erroneous assumption that Jesus died on the sixth and rose on the first day. In part because of the erroneous assumption that Jesus allowed Paul to change the Sabbath to the first day of the week. Another view is: “the Lord’s Day is the Last Great Day” the seventh annual Sabbath. It’s the “Feast of Tabernacles’ eighth day.” Foreshadows final judgment before New Jerusalem’s coming down. Jesus was celebrating “The Last Great Day” when John recorded the following.

(John 7:37-39; “On the last day of the feast, “the Greatest Day” Jesus stood up and shouted out, “If anyone is thirsty let him come to Me and let the one who believes IN Me drink. Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him will flow rivers of living water.’” (similar quotes, Isa 44:3, 55:1, 58:11, and Zech 14:8) (He said, “this about the Spirit” those who believed IN Me will receive, “for the Spirit had not yet been given because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

As said earlier “we need to be careful of translators” they’re human and sometimes have agendas. Through John, Jesus describes Himself as; “The Son of God” “The Alpha and the Omega” “The One who was, is and is to come” “The All-Powerful” “One holding the keys of death and of Hades!” “One who has a firm grasp on the seven Stars ‘Angels of the churches’ in His right hand” “One who walks among the seven golden lamp stands: ‘Churches.’’ “One who is the first and last” “One who was dead, but came to life” “One who has the sharp double-edged sword” “One knowing where His churches are and where Satan’s throne is” “One whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like polished bronze” “The Holy and the True One” “Holds the key of David” “Opens doors no one can shut, shuts doors no one can open” “The Amen faithful and true witness” “The originator of God’s creation” and “The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David.”

Through Paul, at Colossians 1:15-20, Jesus reveals Himself as; “Re-Creator, Creator, Savior, Deliverer, Healer, Sustainer, Mediator and coming King of Kings.” When the world understands who Jesus is, many will turn from assumptions and practices honoring imaginary gods. Many will “believe IN.” Consider, “what if Jesus’ revelation’s to John and Paul were all we have?”

(Rev 4:1-6; “After these things I, “John” looked, and there was a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said: “Come up here so that I can show you what must happen after these things.” (2) Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was standing in heaven with someone seated on it! And the One seated on it was like jasper and carnelian in appearance, and a rainbow looking like it was made of emerald encircled the throne. In a circle around the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on those thrones were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white clothing and had golden crowns on their heads. From the throne came out flashes of lightning and roaring and crashes of thunder. Seven flaming torches, which are the seven spirits of God were burning in front of the throne and in front of the throne was something like a sea of glass, like crystal.”) Jesus’ apostle Paul also wrote, “that he was taken up in the Spirit and seen thing to wonderful to speak of.”

John’s letter to the seven churches include, “from the seven spirits who are before His throne.” Described as, “being before God’s throne and held by Jesus.” Seven flaming torches held by the Lamb. Jesus having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. (Review, Rev 1:4-5; Rev 3:1; Rev 4:5; and Rev 5:6) Symbolisms have meanings that we don’t need to overly speculate about. Obviously God’s spirit is the part of Him, used as He pleases.

(Rev 4:7-11; “In the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second creature like an ox, the third creature had a face like a man’s, and the fourth creature looked like an eagle flying. Each one of the four living creatures had six wings and was full of eyes all around and inside. They never rest day or night, saying: “Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God, the All-Powerful, Who was and who is, and who is still to come!” And whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders throw themselves to the ground before the One who sits on the throne and worship the One who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns before His throne, saying: (11) “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since You created all things, and because of Your will they existed and were created!”) If Jesus’ Revelations to John were all we had, We’d believe He planned, created and sustains all things. But we also have, “John 1:1-5, Col 1:15-20 & Hebrews 1:, teaching the same things.

(Rev 5:1-8; “Then I saw in the right hand of the One ’God the Father’ who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice: “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it. So I began weeping bitterly because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, ’Jesus’ has conquered; thus He can open the scroll and its seven seals.” “Then I saw standing in the middle of the throne, of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb that appeared to have been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll from the right hand of the One ‘God the Father’ who was seated on the throne, and when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the Saints.”) The Lamb is Jesus, One worthy to open the scroll held by God the Father. Prayers of Saints are remembered.

(Rev 5:9-14; “They were singing a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because You were killed, and at the cost of Your own blood You have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation. You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.” (11) Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand – thousands times thousands – all of whom were singing in a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was killed to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!” (13) Then I heard every creature – in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them – singing: “To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power forever and ever!” And the four living creatures were saying “Amen,” and the elders threw themselves to the ground and worshiped.”) Jesus is all in all; God the Father makes it so. Do we feel like praising Jesus because, “at the cost of His own blood He has purchased for God “the Father” persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation. He has appointed US as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and WE will reign on the earth.” His goodness, awesomeness, preplanning from the foundation of the world and His love is overwhelming. To know Him is to love Him.

God loves His created people but hates deceptive practices. The world is deceived by Satan and his followers, who loves chaos, division and are jealous of God’s plan for His people. Some revelations to John are for the tribulation, difficult time for Believers IN, punishing time for unbelievers. Believers IN are prophesied to be resurrected first and serve God. Over -comers staying true to God’s Way during the tribulation are special in His view.

Chapter six and the first five seals, seems to be a prophetic overview of Satan‘s controlling influence among people. (He presents himself as an angel of light, is granted permission to deceive and as such, he takes peace from the earth.) Enslavement and freedom are compromised, living and worship revolve around imaginary gods. Teaching about Death and Hades influence the idea that all people are born immortal. God’s Way people persecuted and killed, in the name of demonic religions.

The sixth seal represents God’s intervention, His revenge on a demonic world. Scholarly teachers have assigned each horse to a particular age. Perhaps some of these have been gifted with spiritual revelation on the subject. (All that matters is that we understand; “God’s allowing Satan to be the god of this world, until His set time.”)

(Rev 6:1- 2; “I looked on when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a thunderous voice, “Come!” So I looked, and here came a white horse! The One who rode it had a bow, and He was given a crown, and as a conqueror He rode out to conquer.” Manifesting himself as an angel of light.

(Rev 6:3-4; “Then when the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!” And another horse, fiery red, came out, and the one who rode it was granted permission to take peace from the earth, so that people would butcher one another, and he was given a huge sword.” War among people groups.

(Rev 6:5-6; “Then when the Lamb opened the third seal I heard the third living creature saying, “Come!” So I looked, and here came a black horse! The one who rode it had a balance scale in his hand. Then I heard something like a voice from among the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat will cost a day’s pay and three quarts of barley will cost a day’s pay. But do not damage the olive oil and the wine!” Enslavement.

(Rev 6:7-8; “Then when the Lamb opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!” So I looked and here came a pale green horse! The name of the one who rode it was Death, and Hades followed right behind. They were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill its population with the sword, famine, and disease, and by the wild animals of the earth.”

(Rev 6:9-11 ““Now when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been violently killed because of the Word of God and because of the testimony they had given. They cried out with a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Master, holy and true, before You judge those who live on the earth and avenge our blood?” (11) Each of them was given a long white robe and they were told to rest for a little longer, until the full number was reached of both their fellow servants and their brothers who were going to be killed just as they had been.””

(Rev 6:12-17 “Then I looked when the Lamb opened the sixth seal, and a huge earthquake took place; the sun became as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the full moon became blood red; and the stars in the sky fell to the earth like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when shaken by a fierce wind. The sky was split apart like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved from its place. (15) Then the kings of the earth, the very important people, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the One who is seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”

It seems, “Jesus’ Revelations to John” has brought him to the point of God’s judgment countdown, “the tribulation,” the time Jesus speaks of, “as recorded in Matthew 24:,” when, “except the days be shortened, there would be no flesh saved alive.” Matt 24:22) Jesus’ Revelations to John” include the reminder, that God has not forgotten His promises to Abraham.

Jesus’ Revelations to John, apostles and His church, chapter 2

Thursday, January 24th, 2019

To: The Family of God, “His Church” Israelites Abroad, people being made atOne with Him (1/24/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 18, until sunset. We don’t know a lot about God’s seven Asian churches, “Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.” We know Jesus’ apostle Paul taught in the city of Ephesus, wrote that church a letter. At Colossians 4:16, Paul is asking them to share his letter with the Laodicea church. Some speculate “these churches represent the Church of God down through this latter days. Laodicea being the end time church. There’s some logic in that assumption. Without revelations, I won’t go there. We teach “God’s Church recognizes His laws, oracles and seasons” as Judaism’s calendar sets forth. Jesus’ apostle Paul was given revelations.

Romans 3:1-4; “Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: “so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.”) “Quote from Psalms 51:4” Remember Jesus gave “understanding scripture” to His apostles

As Jesus points out through John, the Ephesus church lost enthusiasm, “their first love.” Ephesus and Pergamum churches were plagued by the Nicolatiains. Sects holding to paganism to some degree. (Nicolatiains: a sect (sometimes associated with (Nicolas, a Gentile convert to Judaism from Antioch.) one of the seven original deacons in the Jerusalem church. “Acts 6:5” Seemingly he taught Christians could engage in immoral behavior with impunity.) The temple of Diana, “Artimus” was at Ephesus and their worshipers gave Paul problems. See Acts 19:27)

(Rev 2:8-11; “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who is the first and the last, the one who was dead, but came to life: ‘I know the distress you are suffering and your poverty (but you are rich). I also know the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews “Christian” and really are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. The devil is about to have some of you thrown into prison so you may be tested, “tempted-tried” and you will experience suffering for ten days. Remain faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown that is life itself. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will in no way be harmed by the second death.’”) This is the first of four times, “second death” is referred to in “Revelation of Jesus to John.” To this age, “many professing Christians are serving the synagogues of Satan.

Worldly religions, practice various forms of paganism, “Baal and other gods the Roman calendar week days are named for.” Sun worship is very much alive. (Our English dictionary defines worship as; “loving, respecting, greatly and perhaps unquestioningly.”) Christendom in general looks to the winter equinox season with unquestioning celebrations, much as the pagans were doing during the time Jesus gave Moses His calendar for His people. Jesus said; “follower’s of Satan are the many who say He’s is the Christ and deceive the many.” The many aren’t aware that a, “second death” awaits those who refuse to believe IN Jesus when He’s revealed; “particularly in and during His millennial reign.”

(Rev 2:12-17; “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: “this is the solemn pronouncement of the One who has the sharp double-edged sword: ‘I know where you live – where Satan’s throne is. Yet you continue to cling to My name and you have not denied your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness, who was killed in your city where Satan lives. But I have a few things against you: You have some people there who follow the teaching of Balaam, who instructed Balak to put a stumbling block before the people of Israel so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. “See Num 22-24; 31:16.” (15) In the same way, there are also some among you who follow the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Therefore, repent! “turn” If not, I will come against you quickly and make war against those people with the sword of My mouth. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, “overcomes” I will give him some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on that stone will be written a new name that no one can understand except the one who receives it.’”)

Denominationalists don’t take Satan seriously, not aware that he’s in the business of putting stumbling blocks before those who would follow Jesus. Find Balaam’s cunning ways, led by Satan. (See Num, 22: - 31:.)

(Rev 2:18-29; “To the angel of the church in Thyatira write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the Son of God, the one who has eyes like a fiery flame and whose feet are like polished bronze: ‘I know your deeds: your love, faith, service, and steadfast endurance. In fact, your more recent deeds are greater than your earlier ones. But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and by her teaching deceives My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality. Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, unless they repent of her deeds. Furthermore, I will strike her followers with a deadly disease, and then all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts. I will repay each one of you what your deeds deserve. But to the rest of you in Thyatira, all who do not hold to this teaching (who have not learned the so-called “deep secrets of Satan”) to you I say: I do not put any additional burden on you. However, hold on to what you have until I come. And to the one who conquers, “overcomes” and who continues in My deeds until the end, I will give him authority over the nations – (27) he will rule them with an iron rod and like clay jars he will break them to pieces, just as I have received the right to rule from My Father – and I will give him the morning star. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”) Jezebel’s characteristics were that of an adulterous person, physical and spiritually. Allowing herself to be Satan’s tool. The “deep secrets of Satan” have to do with his lie regarding immortality, deceptions about the grave, Hades and Shoel. God is allowing Satan temporary spiritual and physical powers, to do signs and wonders. He has temporary power over the nations as Jesus prophesied. “Revealing that His churches have varying characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. At a point of God’s choosing, every person will witness His return.

(1Cor 15:22-24;“For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the first fruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him. Then comes the, “millennial” end, when He, “Jesus” hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power.”) Jesus was the firstborn from among the dead, the ultimate ruler over the kings of the earth; He is the One who loves us, sets us free from our sins at the cost of His own blood and He has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests, serving His God and Father – to Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. (His church is in fact, a kingdom!)

Jesus reveals “He’s the same, “yesterday, today and forever” as when He gave commandments to Moses, when the frightened people ask that He not speak to them, “but have Moses do the speaking.”

John in the spirit on the Lord’s Day, doesn’t mean “on the first day of the week.” Put to the test, “those who say they’re followers of Jesus, but are not” don’t do the deeds Jesus commands. “He hates the deeds of those who hold to practices designed to honor imaginary gods.” “Followers of Jesus will rule the nations with Him.” People subjecting themselves to Balaam, Jezebel and manufactured gods doctrines are Satan’s tools, “putting stumbling blocks before those who would follow Jesus.” Obey and repent are key words.

(Rev 3:1-6; “To the angel of the church in Sardis write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the one who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: “angels” ‘I know your deeds, that you have a reputation that you are alive, but in reality you are dead. Wake up then, and strengthen what remains that was about to die, because I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of My God. (3) Therefore, remember what you received and heard, obey it, and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come against you. But you have a few individuals in Sardis who have not stained their clothes, and they will walk with Me dressed in white, because they are worthy. The one who conquers will be dressed like them in white clothing, and I will never erase his name from the book of life, but will declare his name before My Father and before His angels. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”) Know, “God’s Word is true, though every person a liar.” (Review Romans 3:1-4) Popular folks the world looks to aren’t followers of Jesus.

(Rev 3:7-13; “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the Holy One, the True One, who holds the key of David, who opens doors no one can shut, and shuts doors no one can open: ‘I know your deeds. (Look! I have put in front of you an open door that no one can shut.) I know that you have little strength, but you have obeyed My word and have not denied My name. (9) Listen! I am going to make those people from the synagogue of Satan – who say they are JewsChristian” yet are not, but are lying – Look, I will make them come and bow down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Because you have kept My admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown. The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will never depart from it. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from My God), and My new name as well. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”) Terminology used to define His Philadelphia church, indicate it’s time is close to the tribulation period. (A time of upheaval when plagues and Satan’s time is about up.) Perhaps the internet is providing the open door for God’s Word to go worldwide. Philadelphia characterized people have promised protection; “Because you’ve kept My admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” Indicating “Philadelphian church may be in this near age time period.

(Rev 3:14-22; “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of God’s creation: (15) ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot! So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth! Because you say, “I am rich and have acquired great wealth, and need nothing,” but do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked, take my advice and buy gold from Me refined by fire so you can become rich! Buy from Me white clothing so you can be clothed and your shameful nakedness will not be exposed, and buy eye salve to put on your eyes so you can see! All those I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent! Listen! I am standing at the door and knocking! If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into his home and share a meal with him, and he with Me. I will grant the one who conquers permission to sit with Me on My throne, just as I too conquered and sat down with My Father on His throne. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”) Jesus’ Laodicea church seems to assumed much, “thinking themselves rich” indicates a yielding to worldly practices. Jesus suggest they get back to The Word, “buy from Me that your nakedness not be exposed.”

Review these churches’ characteristics, strengths and weaknesses and how Jesus reveals Himself: “the Son of God“ “originator of God’s creation” One who searches minds and hearts” “one who was dead but now alive” “One who was, is and is to come.” He’s much more. (“Blessed are the one’s who reads the words of this prophecy aloud and blessed are those who hear “understand” and obey the things written in it, because the time is near.”)

Jesus’ Revelations to John, myself and others.

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019

To: The Family of God, “His Church” Israelites Abroad, people being made atOne with Him (1/22/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 16, until sunset.

We should have learned from our last study that the “Son of Man had to be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day rise again.” (See Luke 24:6) Our main purpose in reviewing “The Revelations of Jesus to John” is that this particular New Covenant book is in large part a, “blessing to its readers and Jesus recommends we read out loud.”

(Revelations 1:1-3; “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God, “the Father” gave Him to show His servants what must happen very soon. He made it clear by sending His angel to His servant John, who then testified to everything that he saw concerning the Word of God and the testimony about Jesus Christ. (3) Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy aloud, and blessed are those who hear, “understand” and obey the things written in it, because the time is near!”) Time was and is near from Jesus’ point of view.

We’re mindful too, “many readers may live in areas where the holy scriptures aren’t available.” May we be blessed in our efforts to expound and publish. There’s no intent to set dates or put other studies parallel with the holy scriptures. We’re mindful of some translation difficulties. Jesus’ revelations to John are from Himself, God the Father and delivered by His angel. Revelations to John is a spiritual book, for a chosen spiritual people and planned from the foundation of the world. (Jesus’ prophetic revelations and instructions to John may have been given over time, in season and aren’t necessarily laid out in sequent order.) Some chapters are inserts.

Going forward, we need to understand the meaning of the word, “Israel” as meaning, “God fights” the word “Jew” implies “Christian.” Followers of Jesus are “spiritual Israelites.”

Seemingly pronounced plagues, are for set aside periods, tied to and with the “abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel.” Demonstrating His awesome power, Jesus reveals an unrepentant populous living the way of Balaam and practicing ways designed to honor imaginary gods.” Only God’s Elect will not be deceived by Satan’s signs, wonders and deceptive teaching by his followers. (See Matt 24:24; “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect.”) Speaking of Satan and his follows, Paul writes, (2Corinthians 11:14-15; “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.”) Followers of Jesus shouldn’t find it strange that only God’s Elect will not be succumbing to Satan, his followers’ deceptions until Jesus returns. Yielding to various divided denominational teaching and to the pagan Roman calendar.

(Rev 1:4-6; “From John, to the seven churches that are in the province of Asia: Grace and peace to you from “He who is,” and who was, and who is still to come, and from the seven spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ – the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of His own blood and has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests serving His God and Father – to Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen.”)

Note the revelations of Jesus to John are “to the seven churches in the providence of Asia,” from God the Father and “the One who was with His Father from the beginning of this world, the One still to come and the seven spirits that are before His throne!” These seven churches in the province of Asia that Paul started were gentile and Israelite mixed.

(Rev 1:7; “Look! He is returning with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the tribes on the earth will mourn because of Him. This will certainly come to pass! Amen.) Remember Paul’s resurrection chapter? (1Cor 15:, teaches a resurrection order, “each in his own order.” Even those who pierced Jesus will be resurrected and see Him.

(Rev 1:8; “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God – the One who is, and who was, and who is still to come – the All-Powerful!”) Jesus also gave revelations to His prophets, regarding His second coming and rule on earth. (For starters, see Isaiah 2:,11:, 41:, 58: through 65:, Psalms 110:, Zachariah 14: and Revelations 20:. Jude even tells of Enoch’ prophecy.

(Rev 1:9-11; “ I, John, your brother and the one who shares with you in the persecution, kingdom, and endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the Word of God and the testimony about Jesus. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, “day belonging to the Lord” when I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet saying: “Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches – to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”) John was banned to the island of Patmos, seemingly, after the other apostles had been killed. John may have been the one formulating the other apostles writings, and Luke’s “Acts of the Apostles.” Jesus’ followers found His tomb empty on the first day of the week, which apparently causes some translators to make reference to the first day as being the, “Lord’s day.” That couldn’t make the first day more holy than the seventh, nor does the first day replace the seventh day Sabbath.

(Rev 1:12-20; “I, “John” turned to see whose voice was speaking to me, and when I did so, I saw seven golden lamp stands, and in the midst of the lamp stands was one like a son of man. He was dressed in a robe extending down to His feet and He wore a wide golden belt around His chest. His head and hair were as white as wool, even as white as snow, and His eyes were like a fiery flame. His feet were like polished bronze refined in a furnace, and His voice was like the roar of many waters. He held seven stars in His right hand, and a sharp double-edged sword extended out of His mouth. His face shone like the sun shining at full strength. When I saw Him I fell down at His feet as though I were dead, but He placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last, and the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive – forever and ever – and I hold the keys of death and of Hades! (19) Therefore write what you saw, what is, and what will be after these things. The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in My right hand and the seven golden lamp stands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches and the seven lamp stands are the seven churches.”)

Jesus holds the key to death and the grave, “Hades.” Hades is a proper noun, meaning, “place of the dead” Jesus holds the key to Hades. ‘Hades’, is the nether world or “grave a place where the dead sleep. Knowing that Jesus holds the key to Hades, Peter, speaking of the imputation of God’s spirit was able to say. (Acts 2:16-21; “But this is what was spoken about through the prophet Joel: ‘And in the last days it will be, God says, that I will pour out My Spirit on all people, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. And I will perform wonders in the sky above and miraculous signs on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke. (20) The sun will be changed to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes. And then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ ”A quotation from Joel 2:28-32.” Then Peter quotes David.

(Acts 2:25-28 “For David says about Him, “Jesus”I saw the Lord always in front of me, for He is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue rejoiced; my body also will live in hope, because you will not leave my soul, my life, my beingin Hades, nor permit your Holy One, “Jesus” to experience decay. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of joy with your presence.’”) A quote from Ps 16:8-11.

(Acts 2:31-35; “David by foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did His body experience decay. This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it. So then, exalted to the right hand of God, “The Father” and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, He has poured out what you both see and hear. (34) For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says, ‘The Lord, “God the Father” said to my lord, “Jesus”Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’)

Solomon understood and penned; (Eccl 9:10; “Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, because there is neither work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave, “sheol” the place where you will eventually go.” Often “Hades” is the equivalent of the Hebrew term sheol, the place of the dead. Isaiah told us what, “grave” “Hades” and “sheol” is like. (Isaiah 14:11; “Your splendor has been brought down to Sheol, as well as the sound of your stringed instruments. You lie on a bed of maggots, with a blanket of worms over you.”)

(Isaiah 28:14-16;; “Therefore, listen to the Lord’s Word, you who mock, you rulers of these people who reside in Jerusalem! For you say, “We have made a treaty with death, with Sheol we have made an agreement. When the overwhelming judgment sweeps by it will not reach us. For we have made a lie our refuge, we have hidden ourselves in a deceitful word.” Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Master, the Lord, says: “Look, I am laying a Stone in Zion, an approved Stone, set in place as a precious cornerstone for the foundation. “that Stone is Jesus.” The one who maintains His faith will not panic.”) People led to believe IN Jesus, don’t panic. Old Testament, “Hades” “Sheol” & “grave” is the place where the dead reside. See also, (Matt 11:23; Luke 16:23; Rev 20:13-14). Regardless of how people define the grave, Jesus holds the key! He can bring each to life. Now Jesus’ messages for the seven churches in Asia, “to whom He’s the Chief Corner Stone.” To Congregations whose foundation is Jesus, His apostles and prophets.

(Rev 2:1-7; ““To the angel of the church in Ephesus, write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who has a firm grasp on the seven Stars “Angels” in His right hand – the one who walks among the seven golden lamp stands: “Churches.” ‘I know your works as well as your labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil. You have even put to the test those who refer to themselves as apostles (but are not), and have discovered that they are false. I am also aware that you have persisted steadfastly, endured much for the sake of My name, and have not grown weary. But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love! (5) Therefore, remember from what high state you have fallen and repent! Do the deeds you did at the first; if not, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand “church” from its place – that is, if you do not repent. But you do have this going for you: You hate what the Nicolaitans practice – practices I also hate. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will permit him to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.’”) Jesus has a firm grip on “These Churches of God and these seven angels.

Believers that Jesus lived opposed to BelieversIN Jesus’ message.

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019

Consider the difference in people who believe IN to those who believe Jesus lived. Believers IN try to learn what’s pleasing to God. Believers that Jesus lived try to make Him fit their divided fleshly rationale.

  1. Believers IN Jesus; are spiritually led to be atOne with Him, grow and develop righteous attributes: “they’re love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, faithfulness, self control, patience, goodness and gentleness. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
  • Believers THAT Jesus lived; aren’t spiritually led, they’re a divided mixture, calling their culture Christendom, whose attributes amount to confusion: “sexual immoral, impurity, sorcery, strife, depravity, idolatry, hostilities, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, factions, murder. dissensions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things.” Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God! (See Galatians 5:18-26) Jesus also inspired Paul to write at Ephesians 5:6-21.

  • Let nobody deceive you with empty words, for because of these things God’s wrath comes on the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them, for you ’unbelievers’ were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light – for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth – trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. (11) Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For the things they do in secret are shameful even to mention. But all things being exposed by the light are made evident. (14) For everything made evident is light, and for this reason it says: “Awake, O sleeper! Rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you! (See Isaiah 26:19, 51:17, 52:1, and 60:1.) Therefore be very careful how you live – not as unwise but as wise, taking advantage of every opportunity, because the days are evil. For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise by understanding what the Lord’s will is. (18) And do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your hearts to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for each other in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.”)

The Gospel according to Luke, chapter 35 of 35

Monday, January 21st, 2019

To: The Family of God, “His Church” Israelites Abroad, people being made atOne with Him (1/21/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 14, until sunset.

It was preplanned, our Creator “Son of God” would become a fleshly human, learn from things suffered, overcome temptations and die as the Lamb of God, “God The Father’s Christ.” As Testator of the old covenant, His death brought about the new. (Heb 9:11-14; teaches “Christ came as the high priest of good things to come.” A more perfect tent made without hands of this creation. He entered the most holy and secured with His own blood “eternal redemption for us.” Through the spirit He offered Himself, without blemish to God the Father. Believing IN Him purifies our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.

Heb 9:15 And so He is the Mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the eternal inheritance He has promised, since He died to set them free from the violations committed under the first covenant. For where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be proven. (17) For a will takes effect only at death, since it carries no force while the one who made it is alive. So even the first covenant was inaugurated with blood. For when Moses had spoken every command to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats with water and scarlet wool and hyssop and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, (20) and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that God has commanded you to keep.” And both the tabernacle and all the utensils of worship he likewise sprinkled with blood. Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. (23) So it was necessary for the sketches of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves required better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands – the representation of the true sanctuary – but into heaven itself, and He appears now in God’s presence for us. And He did not enter to offer Himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the sanctuary year after year with blood that is not his own, for then He would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the consummation of the ages to put away sin by His sacrifice. And just as people are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, (28) so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await Him He will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.”) Consider, “the Son of God, Re-Creator, Creator, Deliverer, Mediator and coming king of kings, shedding His own blood so our sins could be remitted and we could inherit eternal life.

Luke 23:44-49; “It was now about noon, ’still the 14thand darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, because the sun’s light failed. The temple curtain was torn in two. (The curtain separating the holy of holiest.) (46) Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit My spirit!” And after He said this He breathed His last.” … Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he praised God and said, “Certainly this man was innocent!” And all the crowds that had assembled for this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned home beating their breasts. And all those who knew Jesus stood at a distance, and the women who had followed Him from Galilee saw these things.”)

Jesus’ Burial, Luke 23:50-56; “Now there was a man named Joseph who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man. (He had not consented to their plan and action.) He was from the Judean town of Arimathea, and was looking forward to the kingdom of God. (52) He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, and placed it in a tomb cut out of the rock, where no one had yet been buried. (54) It was the day of preparation and the Sabbath was beginning. (The 14th of Nisan, God’s first annual Sabbath was about to begin. Day before weekly and annual Sabbaths are preparation days.) The women who had accompanied Jesus from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how His body was laid in it. (56) Then they returned and prepared aromatic spices and perfumes. As commanded, ‘on the 15th day of Nisan’ Sabbath they rested.”) (So called, good Friday, Easter Sunday timing and practices is from sun worship, god of fertility and other paganism. The 16th day of Nisan may have fell on the first day of week that year: if so it would have been two days after burial.)

(Luke 24:1-12; “Now on the first day of the week, at early dawn, the women went to the tomb, taking the aromatic spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, but when they went in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. (4) While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men stood beside them in dazzling attire. The women were terribly frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? (6) He is not here, but has been raised! Remember how He told you, while He was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.” (8) Then the women remembered His words, and when they returned from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. Now it was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles. (11) But these words seemed like pure nonsense to them, and they did not believe them. But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. He bent down and saw only the strips of linen cloth; then He went home, wondering what had happened.”) A belief IN and understanding of the scriptures had not yet been gifted to the apostles, Jesus would soon make that gift a reality.

Jesus Walks the Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-29; “Now that very day two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking to each other about all the things that had happened. (15) While they were talking and debating these things, Jesus Himself approached and began to accompany them (but their eyes were kept from recognizing Him). (17) Then He said to them, “What are these matters you are discussing so intently as you walk along?” And they stood still, looking sad. Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things that have happened there in these days?” (19) He said to them, “What things?” “The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene,” they replied, “a man who, with His powerful deeds and words, proved to be a prophet before God and all the people; and how our chief priests and rulers handed Him over to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. (21) But we had hoped that He was the one who was going to redeem Israel. Not only this, but it is now the third day since these things happened. Furthermore, some women of our group amazed us. They were at the tomb early this morning, and when they did not find His body, they came back and said they had seen a vision of angels, who said He was alive. (24) Then some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see Him.” (25) So He said to them, “You foolish people – how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Wasn’t it necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and enter into His glory?” (27) Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, He interpreted to them the things written about Himself in all the scriptures. (28) So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though He wanted to go farther, but they urged him, “Stay with us, because it is getting toward evening and the day is almost done.” So He went in to stay with them.”)

(Luke 24:30-35; “When He had taken His place at the table with them, He took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. (31) At this point their eyes were opened and they recognized Him. Then He vanished out of their sight. They said to each other, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us while He was speaking with us on the road, while He was explaining the scriptures to us?” (33) So they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. They found the eleven and those with them gathered together and saying, “The Lord has really risen, and has appeared to Simon!” (35) Then they told what had happened on the road, and how they recognized him when He broke the bread.

Jesus Makes a Final Appearance (Luke 24:36-43; “While they were saying these things, Jesus Himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” But they were startled and terrified, thinking they saw a ghost. Then He said to them, “Why are you frightened and why do doubt arise in your hearts? (39) Look at My hands and My feet; it’s Me. Touch Me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones like you see I have.” (40) When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. And while they still could not believe it (because of their joy) and were amazed, He said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” So they gave Him a piece of broiled fish, (43) and He took it and ate it in front of them.”)

Jesus’ Final Commission (Luke 24:44-49; “Then He said to them, “These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about Me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.” (45) Then He opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. (49) And look, I am sending you what my Father promised. But stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”) (Some 50 days later at Pentecost, Jesus’ apostles were expecting Jesus’ promise.)

Jesus’ Departure (Luke 24:50-53; Then Jesus led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up His hands, He blessed them. Now during the blessing He departed and was taken up into heaven. So they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple courts blessing God.”)

Luke gives us more in his “Acts of the Apostles” he writes Theophilus as he does in his gospel account. Remember Luke isn’t an apostle, but one who accompanied, particularly Peter and Paul. (As a reporter Luke tells all about Jesus’ doing and teaching, until the day He was taken up to heaven after giving orders by the Holy Spirit to His apostles. (Acts 1:3-5; To the same apostles also, after His suffering, He presented Himself alive with many convincing proofs. He was seen by them over a forty-day period and spoke about matters concerning the kingdom of God. He had declared, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait there for what My Father promised, which you heard about from Me. (5) For John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”) They ask Jesus if He was restoring the kingdom of Israel. He said, “you aren’t permitted to know the timing the Father has set by His authority.

Acts 1:8-11; “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth.” After He had said this, while they were watching, He was lifted up and a cloud hid Him from their sight. As they were still staring into the sky while He was going, suddenly two men in white clothing stood near them and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking up into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you saw Him go into heaven.”) Israelites have been expecting The Lord God, “Jesus” to return with power since Enoch, “the seventh from Adam” wrote. We don’t have his writing but our Lord’s brother Jude did. (Jude writes about Jesus saving Israel from Egypt, how He destroyed unbelievers and angels that didn’t keep within their proper domain, now kept in eternal chains and about Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude calls these dreamers defiling the flesh and rejecting authority. Speaks of Michael the archangel arguing with the devil over Moses’ body etc.” (Cain was the first to do as seems right to himself, and his is the path of all unbelievers since. People who are twice dead) (Jude 1:11-13; teaches like Cain, those in Korah’s rebellion, Balaam followers etc, feed only themselves. They’re twice dead” Study the whole.

(Jude 1:14-19; “Now Enoch, the seventh in descent beginning with Adam, even prophesied of them, saying, The Lord is coming with thousands and thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment, to convict every person of all their ungodly deeds, harsh words sinners have spoken against Him.” These are grumblers, fault-finders, going wherever their desires lead them, giving bombastic speeches for their own gain.” (17) But you– recall the predictions of the apostles saying to you, “In the end time there will be scoffers, propelled by their own ungodly desires, divisive, worldly, devoid of the Spirit.”) As always study the whole. To: The Family of God, “His Church” Israelites Abroad, people being made atOne with Him (1/19/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 13, until sunset.

The night of that Passover was exhausting for Jesus, His apostles and His persecutors. (Luke 23:1-12; “Then the whole group of them rose up and brought Jesus before Pilate. They began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man subverting our nation, forbidding us to pay the tribute tax to Caesar and claiming that He Himself is Christ, a king.” (3) So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?” He replied, “You say so.” Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no basis for an accusation against this man.” But they persisted in saying, “He incites the people by teaching throughout all Judea. It started in Galilee and ended up here!” (6) “Now when Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean. When he learned that He was from Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him over to Herod, who also happened to be in Jerusalem at that time. When Herod saw Jesus, he was very glad, for he had long desired to see Him, because he had heard about Jesus and was hoping to see Him perform some miraculous sign. So Herod questioned Him at considerable length; Jesus gave him no answer. The chief priests and the experts in the law were there, vehemently accusing Him. Even Herod with his soldiers treated Jesus with contempt and mocked Him. Then, dressing Him in elegant clothes, Herod sent him back to Pilate.

That very day Herod and Pilate became friends with each other, for prior

to this they had been enemies.”) (It was still the 14th day of God’s first

month “Nisan.” Herod and Pilate became friends.

Characteristically: “having things in common binds people.”

(Luke 23:13-25; “Then Pilate called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people, and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was misleading the people. When I examined Him before you, I did not find this man guilty of anything you accused Him of doing. Neither did Herod, for he sent Him back to us. Look, He has done nothing deserving death. I will therefore have Him flogged and release Him. But they all shouted out together, “Take this man away! Release Barabbas for us!” (This was a man who had been thrown into prison for an insurrection started in the city, and for murder.)

(20-25; Pilate addressed them once again because he wanted to release Jesus. But they kept on shouting, “Crucify, crucify Him!” A third time Pilate said to them, “Why? What wrong has He done? I have found Him guilty of no crime deserving death. I will therefore flog Him and release Him.” But they were insistent, demanding with loud shouts that He be crucified. And their shouts prevailed. So Pilate decided that their demand should be granted. (25) He released the man they asked for, who had been thrown in prison for insurrection and murder. But he handed Jesus over to their will.”) For many years afterward, gentile Romans particularly, used politics and unscrupulous leaders to blame and persecute Jews for Jesus’ death. Even before world war 2, Catholics in Germany were silent partners to Hitler’s persecution of Jews. In part because the Jews could not be converted to Catholicism’s pagan practices.

Actually YOU AND I are guilty of killing Jesus with our lawlessness. By living according to what seemed right to our intellect. It was preplanned that the Son of God die for the remission of the world’s sins! No one took Jesus’ life, He gave it! The Son of God died so Believers IN Him could have their sins remitted and inherit eternal life! Temple authorities, Sadducees and Pharisees wanted Jesus killed. This also fulfilled Jesus parable about the land owner who finally sent his son to redeem his portion of the land’s production. (See Matt 21:33-46)

(Luke 23:26-31; “As they led Jesus away, they seized Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country. They placed the cross on his back and made him carry it behind Jesus. A great number of the people followed Jesus, among them women who were mourning and wailing for Him. (28) But Jesus turned to them and said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For this is certain: The days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore children, and the breasts that never nursed!’ Then they will begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! and to the hills, Cover us!’ For if such things are done when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”) Jesus could have explained; “If these unbelieving people persecute to this degree, think how severe they will persecute Believers IN at the end of this age, when Satan knows his time is about up.” Jesus was thinking about the future times He described in Matthew 24: “the days just prior to His return, when Satan, “knowing his end is near” will become more ruthless and go after followers of Jesus.” Jesus said; “except those days be shortened, no flesh would be saved alive, but for the Elect sake, those days will be shortened.” (My words, see Matthew 24;22)

(Luke 23:32-38; Two other criminals were also led away to be executed with Jesus. So when they came to the place that is called “The Skull,” they crucified Jesus there, along with the criminals, one on Jesus’ right and one on His left. But Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Then they threw dice to divide His clothes. The people also stood there watching, but the rulers ridiculed Jesus, saying, “He saved others. Let Him save Himself if He is the Christ of God, His chosen One!” The soldiers also mocked Jesus, coming up and offering Him sour wine, and saying, “If You are the king of the Jews, save Yourself!” There was also an inscription over Him, “This is the king of the Jews.”) What love, to have the attitude, “forgive them.” I think of a deacon named Stephen, who was stoned to death while the apostle Paul held the coats of the murderers. Stephen died saying, “Father forgive them, for they don’t know hat they’re doing.” (study Acts 7

(Luke 23:39-43; “One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at Jesus, saying, “Aren’t you the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Don’t you fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come in Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth today, you’ll be with Me in paradise.”) I moved the comma as it should be. Translators inserting punctuations according to what seems right to their belief. Believing people are born to live forever someplace is demonic doctrine. All worldly religions adapted some form of this demonic deception. (Study Gen. 3:) Jesus and His apostles taught “immortality is gifted through Believing IN Jesus.” Satan and his followers are calling God a liar when they teach “people are born to live forever someplace.” (Study - see 2Corinthians 11:11-15 & lets review.

After Satan questioned Eve about what God said about not eating certain fruit, Eve responded, (“We may eat of the fruit from the trees of the orchard; but concerning the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the orchard, God said, ‘You must not eat from it, and you must not touch it, or else you will die.’” Satan replied, “Surely you will not die, for God knows when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.” Genesis 3:3-5) Worldly religions teach, “as fleshly divine beings, we know the good go up and the bad go down.” The fact is; we humans don’t naturally know from within our fleshly nature, “what’s right, wrong, good and evil.” Such is our Creator’s prerogative.

Our Lord’s brother, “James” penned; (James 1:14-15; “But each one is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desires. Then when desire conceives, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is full grown, it gives birth to death.”) The devil was able to appeal to Adam & Eve’s fleshly instinctive desires! Jesus revealed His truth through His apostle Paul.

(Romans 5:12-17; “So then, just as sin entered the world through one man “Adam” and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned – for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law. (God’s law is “don’t disobey.”) Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming One) transgressed. But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, “Adam” how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the One man Jesus Christ multiply to the many! And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, “eating the forbidden” led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification. For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ!) Then Jesus’ apostle John was inspired to write Jesus’ words.

John 15:5-6; “I am the vine; you ‘Believers’ are the branches. The one who remains in Me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from Me you ‘Believers’ can accomplish nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up.”) As Jesus stated “I can do nothing of His own initiative.” Neither can we believers IN Him, be of and spiritual consequence except through Him.

John 5:19-30; So Jesus answered them, “I tell you the solemn truth, the Son can do nothing on His own initiative, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He does, and will show Him greater deeds than these, so that you will be amazed. (21) For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes. Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. (24) “I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears My message and believes the One who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming – and is now here – when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. (26) For just as the Father has life in Himself, thus He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and He has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man. (28) “Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice and will come out – the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation. I can do nothing on My own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the One who sent Me.”) We followers of Jesus have the same reverence toward Him, as He the Father, because we’re asOne as they’re asOne. As branches we’re nourished by the same vine.

The Gospel according to Luke, chapter 33

Saturday, January 19th, 2019

To: The Family of God, “His Church” Israelites Abroad, people being made atOne with Him (1/19/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 13, until sunset.

When Jesus first sent His disciples on missions He commanded they take no provisions, He was present and protecting. (Luke 22:35-38; “Then Jesus said to them, “When I sent you out with no money bag, or traveler’s bag, or sandals, you didn’t lack anything, did you?” They replied, “Nothing.” He said to them, “But now, the one who has a money bag must take it and likewise a traveler’s bag too. And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one. For I tell you that this scripture must be fulfilled in Me, ‘And He was counted with the transgressors.’ (Quote from Isaiah 53:12) For what is written about Me is being fulfilled.” So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” Then He told them, “It is enough.”) Jesus would die as a criminal, on a stake between two. When Jesus sent them out at the first they were under His supernatural guidance and protection, but now, even as Jesus’ apostle Paul went out with people’s help, we should go out prepared. Jesus’ principle of counting the cost applies in this age.

(Luke 22:39-46; “Then Jesus went out and made His way, as He customarily did, to the Mount of Olives and the disciples followed Him. When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” He went away from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and prayed, (42) “Father, if You are willing, take this cup away from Me. Yet not My will but Yours be done.” (43) (Then an angel from heaven appeared to Jesus and strengthened Him. And in His anguish He prayed more earnestly and His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (45) When Jesus got up from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, exhausted from grief. So Jesus said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you will not fall into temptation!”) Twice in these verses Jesus said; “pray that you not fall into temptation.” That too should be our concerns. Temptations comes from two fronts. (1) Our own fleshly instinctive nature wants it’s own way, which is naturally the way of get. (2) Satan is always on the prowl, wanting to deceive and tempt us to succumb to his devices. (See 1Pet 5:8) Paul explains our opposition.

(Gal 5:15-26; “However, if you continually bite and devour one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another. But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh. For the flesh has desires that are opposed to the Spirit, and the Spirit has desire, that are opposed to the flesh, for these are in opposition to each other, so that you cannot do what you want. (18) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, depravity, idolatry, sorcery, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish rivalries, dissensions, factions, envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God! (Compare the above to Rev 21:8).. (22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit. (26) Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another.”) Now back to Luke.

Remember it is the 14th day of God’s first month, likely before midnight. The next sunset begins God’s first annual Sabbath of the year. These times don’t fall on a particular day of the week.

(Luke 22:47-53; “While Jesus was still speaking, suddenly a crowd appeared and the man named Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He walked up to Jesus to kiss Him. But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?” When those who were around Jesus saw what was about to happen, they said, “Lord, should we use our swords?” (50) Then one of them struck the high priest’s slave, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus said, “Enough of this!” And He touched the man’s ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders who had come out to get Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs like you would against an outlaw? Day after day when I was with you in the temple courts, you did not arrest Me. But this is your hour, and that of the power of darkness!”) Imagine Jesus having the mind to heal at an hour such as this. The chief priest and supporters could only see Jesus as a disruptive man on a mission to dilute their power over people. What we need to understand is that all these things were preplanned. Jesus the Creator, Son of God preplanned the shedding of His own blood for the remission of sin. Jesus’ apostle Paul was blessed to understand and share Jesus’ deity as did John, at John 1:1-5.

(Colossians 1:15-20; “Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him. Jesus Himself is before all things and all things are held together in Him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things. For God “the Father” was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”) Hebrews chapter 1: teaches the same.

While Jesus was praying; “not His, but His Father’s will be done” His apostles were tired and sleeping. It was His Passover, the 14th day of God’s first month. (Earlier in the evening Jesus had set the new covenant precedent for honoring Him on His Passover.) He’s the Believer’s Passover. By His stripes we’re healed, by believing IN Him as He manifest Himself to be, we’re saved from eternal death, to eternal life. Study Isaiah 53:. For this study’s purpose see verses 4-7.

(“But He lifted up our illnesses, He carried our pain; even though we thought He was being punished, attacked by God, and afflicted for something He had done. He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; He endured punishment that made us well; because of His wounds we have been healed. All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on His own path, but the Lord caused the sin of all of us to attack Him. He was treated harshly and afflicted, but He did not even open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughtering block, like a sheep silent before her shearers, He did not even open His mouth.”)

Jesus’ apostle Peter knew Isaiah 53: and shares his understanding. (1Peter 2:20-25; “For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good, suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God. For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in His steps. He committed no sin nor was deceit found in His mouth. When He was maligned, He did not answer back; when He suffered, He threatened no retaliation, but committed Himself to God who judges justly. (24) He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we may cease from sinning and live for righteousness. By His wounds you were healed. For you were going astray like sheep but now you, “followers of Jesus” have turned back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.”) It was all preplanned.

(Matthew 26:26-30; “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after giving thanks He broke it, gave it to His disciples, and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” And after taking the cup and giving thanks, Jesus gave it to them, saying, “Drink from, “this cup” all of you, for this is My blood, the blood of the covenant, that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, from now on I will not drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.”) Keeping Passover represents belief IN Jesus’ life, “His shedding His life‘s blood for the remission of sin“. Believing IN what Jesus accomplished by sacrificing His life. It’s only through Jesus’ sacrificing His life blood for many that sinners are saved from eternal death.

Jesus came back to Jerusalem for the purpose of keeping His Passover, “this particular 14th day of His first month.” Judas was conspiring to aid the high priest in arresting Him.

(Luke 22:54-62; “Then they arrested Jesus, led Him away, and brought Him into the high priest’s house. But Peter was following at a distance. When they had made a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them. (56) Then a slave girl, seeing Peter as he sat in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man was with Jesus too!” But Peter denied it: “Woman, I don’t know Him!” (58) Then a little later someone else saw Peter and said, “You are one of them too.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!” (59) And after about an hour still another insisted, “Certainly this man was with Him, because he too is a Galilean.” (60) But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” At that moment, while Peter was still speaking, a rooster crowed. Then the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before a rooster crows today, you will “have” denied Me three times.” And Peter went outside and wept bitterly.”) Remember, Peter was not yet a believer IN.

(Luke 22:63-71; “Now the men who were holding Jesus under guard began to mock Him and beat Him. They blindfolded Him and asked Him repeatedly, “Prophesy! Who hit You?” They also said many other things against Him, reviling Him. (It’s night the 14th) When day came, the council of the elders of the people gathered together, both the chief priests and the experts in the law. Then they led Jesus away to their council and said, “If you are the Christ, tell us.” But Jesus said to them, “If I tell you, you will not believe, and if I ask you, you will not answer. (69) But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” (70) So they all said, “Are you the Son of God, then?” He answered them, “You say that I am.” Then they said, “Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves from His own lips!”) The 14th of God’s 1st month started before their Passover meal. The first annual Sabbath was coming up and Jesus would be entombed from before sunset thorough the 17th.

The Gospel according to Luke, chapter 32

Friday, January 18th, 2019

To: The Family of God, “His Church” Israelites Abroad, people being made atOne with Him (1/18/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 12, until sunset.

Almighty God and our Lord and Savior Jesus: Thanks for Your calling, revelations and gifted discernments. Lead us not to be boastful of spiritual comprehension but humbly give You the glory and thanksgiving. Give us the mind to fervently pray that Your kingdom soon come, that prophetic events described in Matt 24: fail and many spared. In the holy and gifted nature of Jesus we pray. AMEN.

Faithfully watching, being alert and overcoming our inherited from Adam nature to the end is the calling of Jesus’ followers. (Luke 21:34-36; “But be on your guard so that your hearts are not weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness. worries of this life, that day close down upon you suddenly like a trap. For that day will overtake all who live on the face of the whole earth. But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that must happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”) Remember Jesus’ Words will be our judge.

When Jesus was delivering the Israelites through Moses He had them put up a lamb or goat on the 10th day of His first month. Looking forward to when He would ride a donkey into Jerusalem on the tenth day of His first month. “Adar - Abib or Nisan” as Judaism calls God’s first month.” Jesus allowed Himself to be “hemmed in” as the sacrificial lamb to be killed. He was aware of what would occur on that 14th day at sunset and before the next sunset. (It was preplanned, and important to the Israelites to entomb before that 15th date annual Sabbath. (God’s set aside seasons and annual Sabbaths never fall on particular week days, thus the resurrection theory on first day of week is a fluke.)

(Luke 21:37-38; “So every day Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, but at night He went and stayed on the Mount of Olives. And all the people came to Him early in the morning to listen to Him in the temple courts.”)

We have no need to know why Judaism gave God’s months names nor why they call God’s first day of His seventh month “a new year.” Next first day of His seventh month “Tishrei 1” is counted year “5780” corresponding to Sept 30, on the Roman calendar. (Study Leviticus 23:.) It has been about 5,780 years since Jesus re-created earth from it‘s chaotic condition and created Adam. Why should followers of Jesus be mindful of God’s calendar? Paul taught gentile Believers IN Jesus, “that God entrusted the Jews with His oracles.” (See Rom 3:1-4) Non-Israelite groups had developed their own calendars, so it was important that followers of Jesus understand who God’s oracles were entrusted to.

(Romans 3:1-4; “Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: “so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.”) God’s calendar keeps Judaism and Christians mindful of His set aside seasons, “Sabbaths” and is a major reason why the hostiles to Jesus’ way hates both.

When Jesus instructed Moses about keeping the Lord’s Passover in Egypt, “His own sacrifice for the remission of this world’s sins had long since been preplanned,” as were individual predestinations “calling and saving through gifted belief IN Jesus.” (Every part of that preparation activity in Egypt foreshadowed Jesus’ own sacrifice as our Passover.) Christendom’s replacing God’s Passover season with Easter is ludicrously disobedience, “an abomination.” (Review Leviticus 23:4-8)

(Exodus 12:1-11; “The Lord ‘Jesus’ said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, “This month is to be your beginning of months; it will be your first month of the year. Tell the whole community of Israel, ‘In the tenth day of this month they each must take a lamb for themselves according to their families – a lamb for each household. If any household is too small for a lamb, the man and his next-door neighbor are to take a lamb according to the number of people – you will make your count for the lamb according to how much each one can eat. (5) Your lamb must be perfect, a male, one year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats. You must care for it until the fourteenth day of this month, and then the whole community of Israel will kill it around sundown. They will take some of the blood and put it on the two side posts and top of the doorframe of the houses where they will eat it. They will eat the meat the same night; they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast and with bitter herbs. (9) Do not eat it raw or boiled in water, but roast it over the fire with its head, its legs, and its entrails. You must leave nothing until morning, but you must burn with fire whatever remains of it until morning. (11) This is how you are to eat it – dressed to travel, sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in hast. It is the Lord’s Passover.”) All foreshadowing Jesus’ changing the Passover ordinance, to demonstrate humble loving service, gifted trust in His shed blood sacrifice for the remission of sin.

(Exodus 12:12-15; “I will pass through the land of Egypt in the same night, and I will attack all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both of humans and of animals, and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord. (13) The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, so that when I see the blood I will pass over you, and this plague will not fall on you to destroy you when I attack the land of Egypt. (14) This day will become a memorial for you, and you will celebrate it as a festival to the Lord – you will celebrate it perpetually as a lasting ordinance. (15) For seven days you must eat bread made without yeast. Surely on the first day you must put away yeast from your houses because anyone who eats bread made with yeast from the first day to the seventh day will be cut off from Israel.”) Yeast, a puffing up agent, likened to our own vanity of doing things according to what seems right to our fleshly intellect, “regarding what’s right, wrong, good and evil.” Putting yeast out is a physical reminder to put sin away and we’d be wise to eat unleavened bread during the seven days. God’s holy times are perpetual for His called people.

During Jesus’ time in the flesh, Israelites were coming to Jerusalem from all over, to celebrate God’s holy seasons. Before Jesus’ death “His miracles and teachings were well publicized” more people than usual came.

(Luke 22:1-6; “Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching. The chief priests and the experts in the law were trying to find some way to execute Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. (3) Then Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot, who was one of the twelve. He went away and discussed with the chief priests and officers of the temple guard how he might betray Jesus, handing Him over to them. They were delighted and arranged to give him money. (6) So Judas agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus when no crowd was present.”) We ponder, how Judas could not have believed IN Jesus as the Messiah? Jesus was aware, after all it was He who prophesied Judas’ betrayal. Satan is a powerful enemy and we know God allows Satan to be the god of this world’s populations until a set time.

(Luke 22:7-13; “Then the day for the feast of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us to eat.” They said to Jesus, “Where do you want us to prepare it?” He said to them, “Listen, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters, and tell the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ Then he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. Make preparations there.” So they went and found things just as Jesus had told them, and they prepared the Passover.”)

Likely the 13th day of God’s first month, planning the 14th was like when Jesus knew the donkey would be waiting for His ride into Jerusalem on the 10th. Jesus knew the upper room was being prepared. At this point Jesus’ apostles were still thinking God’s government on earth was about to be established. But Jesus is about to establish a new ordinance for spiritual Israelites, “Christians.”

(Luke 22:14-20; “Now when the hour came, Jesus took His place at the table and the apostles joined Him. And Jesus said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” (17) Then Jesus took a cup, and after giving thanks He said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves. For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” Then Jesus took bread, and after giving thanks He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.” (20) And in the same way Jesus took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.”) Followers of Jesus should assemble on the 14th day of God’s first month at about sunset and do these things in memory of Jesus’ life, death and promises.

(Luke 22:21-27; “But look, the hand of the one who betrays Me is with Me on the table. For the Son of Man is to go just as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!” So they began to question one another as to which of them it could possibly be who would do this. (24) A dispute also started among them over which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. So Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord over them, and those in authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’ Not so with you; instead the one who is greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the one who serves. (27) For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as One who serves.”) Understand, at this point in Jesus’ apostles’ lives, “they’re fleshly in their thinking.” Later Jesus opened their minds and gave them understanding of the scriptures. Today’s professing Christians think they can understand spiritual scripture through fleshly intellect.

(Luke 22:28-34; “You are the ones who have remained with Me in My trials. Thus, I grant to you a kingdom, just as My Father granted to Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (31) “Simon, Simon, pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you Simon; that your faith may not fail. When you have turned back, “strengthen your brothers.” But Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!” (34) Jesus replied, “I tell you Peter; the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”) Jesus’ Words do not fail. His twelve apostles will be in the first resurrection, and the twelve tribes of Israel restored to former borders under authority of the twelve. He strengthened Simon Peter so he could strengthen others. Apostles’ thinking was elementary before His spirit was gifted. They didn’t realize until later, how instinctively fleshly their thinking was as they debated who would be the greatest etc. They and all people can not grasp spiritual understanding until it’s gifted.

The Gospel according to Luke, chapter 27

Tuesday, January 8th, 2019

To: The Family of God, “His Church” people being made atOne with Him, & scattered Israelites (1/8/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 2, until sunset.

Genuine and true followers of Jesus are led to know The Message and as such can’t be deceived, they’re Jesus’ Elect. He said the world would see demonic, miraculous signs to the degree that “if possible the Elect would be deceived. (Matt 24:24-25; “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect. Remember, I have told you ahead of time.”) Satan has Christendom denominations condoning one another’s doctrine, saying, “we’re all trying to get to the same place. The apostles desired Jesus’ gifted faith.

(Luke 17:5-6; “The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” So the Lord replied, “If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this black mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled out by the roots and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.”) Jesus’ apostles are asking for an increase in the depth of faith. But Jesus is speaking of gifted knowing faith. (To believe IN Jesus is gifted faith, from God our Father’s calling. (Knowing God’s will in advance is knowing faith.) Such knowing faith was gifted to Jesus’ apostles at appropriate times after His ascension. An example is at Acts 9:39-41.

Peter was in Joppa when Tabitha - Dorcas died. They sent for Peter, so he got up and went with them. Peter sent them all outside, knelt down, and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her get up. Then he called the Saints and widows and presented her alive.”) Peter was gifted with knowing faith. Another example is with Paul, (See Acts 20:9-12) Jesus set the example. (Luke 8:49-56; A synagogue ruler’s daughter died, when Jesus was told He said, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” When Jesus came to the house, He didn’t let anyone go in with him except Peter, John, James, the child’s father and mother. Jesus said “Stop your weeping; she is not dead but asleep.” They made fun of Him, because they knew she was dead. But Jesus gently took her by the hand and said, “Child, get up.” Her spirit returned, and she got up immediately. Then he told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were astonished, but Jesus ordered them to tell no one what had happened.)

Worldly religions attempt to conjure up faith; “a belief in images and organizations.” People gifted to know Jesus, know He has power over the physical, disease, life and death.

(Luke 17:7-10; “Would any one of you say to your slave who comes in from the field after plowing or shepherding sheep, ‘Come at once and sit down for a meal’? Won’t the master instead say to him, ‘Get my dinner ready, and make yourself ready to serve me while I eat and drink. Then you may eat and drink’? (9) He won’t thank the slave because the slave did what he was told, will he? (10) So you too, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say, ‘We are slaves undeserving of special praise; we have only done what was our duty.’”) So it is with people who’re gifted to be Believers IN Jesus! We’re born with a sin nature inherited from Adam, born mortal inheriting eternal death. When God our Father reveals Jesus and gives His gift of repentance, He fathers us with His nature, making us His Elect and heirs with Abraham.” Jesus’ apostle Paul was gifted to understand and explains to Jesus’ followers.

(Galatians 3:23-29; “Now before ‘Jesus’’ faith came ‘gifted’ we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed. Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, “was reveled” so that we could be declared righteous by “His” faith. But now that “His” faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through ‘His’ faith. For all of you who were baptized, “immersed” into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female – for all of you are ONE in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”) Praise God for His love, planning and gifted understanding!

Most religions say everyone’s a child of God. From a physical creative point of view, all belong to God. However we’re not God’s spiritual children, “members of His spiritual family” until spiritually fathered, “begotten” by God the Father, through God the Son. “Such are God’s church!” “Spiritually born from above, recipients of His spirit.” Individuals He chooses and imputes a new nature to. People “to whom gifted faith has come.” Before God’s calling, revealing Jesus and Himself, all are under the guardianship of His law. Meaning, (“God’s law defines what’s sin in His View.”) When called, God the Father, God the Son revealed and we turn from the way that seemed right to His way “we’re being saved.” A degree of His nature and faith is imputed. A love of God’s Way replaces the old love of self serving ways! A desire to please God replaces the desire to please self! A desire to be Jesus’ slave becomes priority in living practices. SO Jesus’ apostle Paul could exclaim to God’s called out people; “those in whom faith has come” are now, “children of God through faith.” Before our calling and Jesus’ gifted faith imputed, “we’re not God’s children through faith!” Paul explains. (Review Galatians 3:23-29)

(Romans 5:8-11; “But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by His ‘Jesus’’ blood, we will be saved through Him from God’s wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by His life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.”) In parable form Jesus explained that we servants should expect no special praise for having done our duty. “So you too, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say, ‘We are slaves undeserving of special praise; we have only done what was our duty.’” Luke 17:10)

(Luke 17:11-19; “Now on the way to Jerusalem, Jesus was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. As He was entering a village, ten men with leprosy met Him. They stood at a distance, raised their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” When Jesus saw them He said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went along, they were cleansed. Then one of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him. (Now he was a Samaritan.) Then Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Was no one found to turn back and give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then Jesus said to the man, “Get up and go your way. Your faith has made you well.”) Apparently all ten were healed, the Samaritan was more blessed because he was gifted to humbly give thanks, perhaps called.

(Luke 17:20-21; “Now at one point the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God was coming, so Jesus answered, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”) Referring to Himself as is clear in the next passage.

(Luke 17:22-35; “Then Jesus said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. Then people will say to you, ‘Look, there He is!’ or ‘Look, here He is!’ Do not go out or chase after them. (24) For just like the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in His day. But first He “the Son of God” must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. Just as it was in the days of Noah, so too it will be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage – right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. (28) Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot, people were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building; but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. (30) It will be the same on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, anyone who is on the roof, with his goods in the house, must not come down to take them away, and likewise the person in the field must not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”) (Compare this text with Matthew 24:.) Jesus personally made a comparison of the times in both, “life practices in this age, are as before the flood and in Sodom.” No need to look for signs, we’re seeing them in people’s agnostic life practices.

False teachers are speaking in the name of Jesus, while practicing the same demonic ways, as were the people whose lands Jesus gave to the Israelites. Satan and his followers are still manifesting themselves as angels of light. Deceiving with bombastic words and practices that’s abominable to our Creator. Many of these teach enough partial truth to convince many bible studying people. (They’d deceive the very Elect, if it were possible.) (Review Matt 24:24) Mark quotes Jesus’ same passage Mark 13:21-23. (Luke 17:37; “Then the disciples said to Jesus, “Where, Lord?” He replied to them, “Where the dead body is, there the vultures will gather.”) The vultures are demonically inspired false teachers, always ready to make merchandise of unsuspecting people.

(Luke 18:1-8; “Then Jesus told them a parable to show them they should always pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected people. There was also a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while the judge refused, but later on he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor have regard for people, yet because this widow keeps on bothering me, I will give her justice, or in the end she will wear me out by her unending pleas.’” (6) And Jesus said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge says! Won’t God give justice to His chosen Ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay long to help them? I tell you, He will give them justice speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”) Followers of Jesus desire His and our kingdom’s soon coming. The whole world will receive justice in His time.
