The Gospel according to Luke, chapter 29

To: The Family of God, “His Church” people being made atOne with Him, & scattered Israelites (1/12/19, God 11th month, Sh’vat 6, until sunset.

We pray that our and God’s purpose is one and the same. The reason God calls a person is to make that individual atOne with Himself. Lead and give “The Spirit of Truth.” The Comforter / Advocate / Holy Spirit / Spirit of Truth, teaches us everything necessary for our believing IN.

(John 15:26; “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father – the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father – it will testify about Me and you also will testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.”)

(John 14:24-31; “The person who does not love Me does not obey My words. And the Word you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. “I have spoken these things while staying with you. (26) But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you. “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does.

Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage. (28) You heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe. (30) I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over Me, but I am doing just what the Father commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Get up, let us go from here.”) People depending on their own intellect argue about the “Advocate-Comforter-Holy Spirit-Spirit of Truth’s definition and or it’s deity.

(John 16:7-11; But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, but if ‘when’ I go, I will send the Spirit of Truth to you. And when ’the “Spirit of Truth” comes, “The spirit of Truth” will prove the world wrong concerning sin and righteousness and judgment, concerning sin, because they ‘the world’ doesn’t believe IN Me; concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see Me no longer; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.”) Satan has been condemned, but he rules the majority of this earth’s populations. Translators use “He and Him” for Advocate” but in each case it’s obvious that “Holy Spirit or Spirit of Truth” is its meaning.

(Luke 18:35-43; “As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging. When he heard a crowd going by, he asked what was going on. They told him, “Jesus the Nazarene is passing by.” (38) So he called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And those who were in front scolded him to get him to be quiet, but He shouted even more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stopped and ordered the beggar to be brought to Him. When the man came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, let me see again.” Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” And immediately he regained his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they too gave praise to God.”)

Israelites that paid attention to prophetic writings knew that “the Messiah would come as a son of David.” Knew instant restoration and creativity is God’s attributes. (Again, review John 1:1-5, Col 1:15-20 and Hebrews 1.)

(Luke 19:1-10; “Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through it. Now a man named Zacchaeus was there; he was a chief tax collector and was rich. He was trying to get a look at Jesus, but being a short man he could not see over the crowd. So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Jesus, because Jesus was going to pass that way. (5) And when Jesus came to that place, He looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, because I must stay at your house today.” So he came down quickly and welcomed Jesus joyfully. And when the people saw it, they all complained, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!” Then Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this household, because He too is a son of Abraham! For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”)

Jesus was of the tribe of Judea, a descendent of David and Abraham, He came to seek and save the lost. Remember too why Jesus spoke in parables?

(Matt 13:10-15; “Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” He replied, “You ’disciples’ have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not. For whoever has will be given more, and will have an abundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.” (13-15; “For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see, and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand. And concerning them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: ‘You will listen carefully yet will never understand, you will look closely yet will never comprehend. For the heart of this people has become dull; they are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’)

(Luke 19:11-27; “While the people were listening to these things, Jesus proceeded to tell a parable, because He was near to Jerusalem, and because they “the people” thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear immediately. Therefore Jesus said, “A nobleman went to a distant country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return. And he summoned ten of his slaves, gave them ten minas, (A mina was a Greek monetary unit worth one hundred denarii or about four months’ wages for an average worker based on a six-day work week.) and said to them, ‘Do business with these until I come back.’ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to be king over us!’ When he returned after receiving the kingdom, he summoned these slaves to whom he had given the money. He wanted to know how much they had earned by trading. (16) So the first one came before him and said, ‘Sir, your mina has made ten minas more.’ And the king said to him, ‘Well done, good slave! Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, you will have authority over ten cities.’ (18) Then the second one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has made five minas.’ So the king said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’ Then another slave came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina that I put away for safekeeping in a piece of cloth. For I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You withdraw what you did not deposit and reap what you did not sow.’ The king said to him, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked slave! So you knew, did you, that I was a severe man, withdrawing what I didn’t deposit and reaping what I didn’t sow? Why then didn’t you put my money in the bank, so that when I returned I could have collected it with interest?’ (24) And he said to his attendants, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to the one who has ten.’ But they said to him, ‘Sir, he has ten minas already!’ (26) ‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more, but from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and slaughter them in front of me!’”)

Think of the Israelites in Samuel’s day, who rejected God, wanting a king like gentile nations around them. Until we’re gifted with a new nature, “likened to Jesus’” we don’t love God as He manifest Himself to be in the holy scriptures, nor can we. Our inherited from Adam nature leads us in the way that seems right to that sin nature! Jesus is coming to be king of kings, His opposition is Satan, religious organizations and governments.

Even Jesus’ apostles first thought He was going to set up the kingdom of God on earth, re-instate Israel to it’s former borders and make them prosperous as before. They understood, “Israel” means; “God fights for.” Prophecies about Israel’s future are glorious. Jesus had inspired Moses, David and the other prophets to write about His millennial kingdom on earth. Experts and today’s religious establishments are blinded to the necessity of, “a rebirth, a new spiritual nature” in order to enter His kingdom, ‘His Church Family” inherit eternal life. People’s inherited opposition, hostile nature must be changed. We must be made spiritually “God’s very children.” Fathering by God individuals, makes people atOne with Him, “His family, His church and heirs with Abraham.”
