Renunciation of the Fatth, apostate, chapter 2

To: “His Church” People gifted with a desire to be atOne with God. 2/9/19 God’s 12th month, day 4, Adar 1, 5779 until sunset.

Chapter one of, “ Renunciation of The Faith, the Apostasy, includes the common salvation Jude intended to write to followers of Jesus. Believing the things we shared in chapter one. Jude’s observation of the apostasy already taking place, took him in the direction we see in His short letter titled “Jude.” (Faith in Jesus’ Words, His purpose, willingly sacrificing His blood for the remission of the world‘s sin, His practicing righteous living as He taught Israel and honoring times that looked forward to His return, were being mixed with the very pagan customs Jesus hated since the foundation of the world.) (See Colossians 2:8) So, Jude was compelled to disclose the apostasy he saw taking place. (Jesus’ spiritual and physical family, “His mother, brothers, sisters and those whose names are written in the Lamb book of Life were and are gifted with an overview of the Lord’s purpose in calling the forefathers, giving the prophets His words regarding His coming. These knew about the Messiah.”

Did we notice that our Lord God, ‘Jesus’ revealed the same evil practices to Moses and John, that if not repented of require a second death. Compare Deuteronomy 18:9-14 with Jesus’ Revelations to John at 21:8. Basically the same evil abominable to God practices are named in each. The major point in Jesus’ “Lazarus, rich man parable” is, ‘If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they’ll not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead. (See Luke 16:30-31) Jesus’ parable began at verse 22, “the rich man and beggar died, the beggar was carried to Abraham’s side, the rich in Hades,” looked up and saw the beggar and said, “father Abraham send Lazarus to my father’s house, (for I have 5 brothers) “warn them so they don’t come to this place of torment.” (Hades is the Greek word often translated “hell.” Where the dead are gathered (Psalms 16:10, 86:13 and Revelations 20:13) It’s from where God the Father brought up Moses and Elijah to converse with Jesus. Jesus had told His apostles they’d see the kingdom of God.

(Matt 17:1-8; Six days later Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John the brother of James and led them privately up a high mountain. And He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light. (3) Then Moses and Elijah also appeared before them, talking with Him. So Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, I will make three shelters – one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is My one dear Son, in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!” When the disciples heard this, they were overwhelmed with fear and threw themselves down with their faces to the ground. But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” He said. “Do not be afraid.” When they looked up, all they saw was Jesus alone.”) Peter recalled and wrote about this glorious even in his second letter.

(2Peter 1:16-21; For we ‘apostles’ did not follow cleverly concocted fables when we made known to you the power and return of our Lord Jesus Christ; no, we were eyewitnesses of His grandeur. For He ‘Jesus’ received honor and glory from God the Father, when that voice was conveyed to Him by the Majestic Glory: “This is My dear Son, in whom I am delighted.” When this voice was conveyed from heaven, we ourselves heard it, for we were with Him on the holy mountain. (19) Moreover, we ‘apostles’ possess the prophetic word as an altogether reliable thing. You do well if you pay attention to this as you would to a light shining in a murky place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you do well if you recognize this: No prophecy of scripture ever comes about by the prophet’s own imagination, for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.”)

Peter, James and John saw how God’s kingdom would ultimately be established on earth. The dead in Christ Jesus will be resurrected to spiritual life and many, “perhaps all Israel” resurrected as was Lazarus. (Ezek 37)

The natural mind thinks “methodology” in regard to salvation. Most Evangelicals teach, “choose, believe and trust Jesus for saving salvation.” Catholicism teaches that priest are authorized to give babies and adults who do certain penance salvation, “made members of God’s family.” (Jesus teaches, “God calls, reveals people’s sin nature condition, reveals Himself, grants repentance “a turning from that inherited nature” and a new spiritual birth.) God is the One who gives a desire to be atOne with Himself and Jesus. Jesus inspired Paul to teach:

(Phil 2:12-18; “So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, for the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of His good pleasure – is God. (14) Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without blemish though you live in a crooked and perverse society, in which you shine as lights in the world by holding on to the word of life so that on the day of Christ I will have a reason to boast that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice together with all of you. And in the same way you also should be glad and rejoice together with me.”) God the Father chooses and makes His Saints atOne with Jesus and gives them over to Jesus for spiritual training.

(John 1:11-13; “Jesus came to what was His own, but His own people did not receive Him. But to all who have received Him – those who believe IN His name – He has given the right to become God’s children;–children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husband’s decision, but by God.”) Those called and gifted to believe IN, “are given the right to be parented by God - Fathered by God.” Not a human decision, but God’s!”)

Jesus’ own by promise are Israelites. Chosen by promise to Abraham. All believers IN, have Abraham’s example and are heirs with him. (Gal 3:29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”) (Noah, Enoch, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, Jesus’ apostles, prophets and all His Saints are chosen. Their gift? “believing IN God.” “God revealed Himself and they Believed IN.” With belief IN comes the knowledge of things we should overcome, “our inherited nature and abominable to God practices.”

Followers of Jesus are thankful for His gifted spirit, thankful that He loved us first, thankful for the desire to be atOne with Him, hating what He hates and loving the things He loves.

Abraham was gifted with revelations.

Abraham was tried “if you prefer tested.” Think of that major test. God commanded him to sacrifice his only promised son and Abraham was willing to do it; “knowing that God was able to keep His promises.” Review that promise. (See Genesis 22:) What was this earth’s population like when Abraham was chosen? As today, the whole world was doing what seemed right to their inherited from Adam nature. Yielding to their notion of what’s right, wrong, good and evil, “rather than believing IN God.” (Is this not the case in our age?) But, God had a plan then and now, “a plan that will be carried out in spite of Satan and deceived mankind.”

God called Abraham, made promises that included Jesus, “the Seed” Abraham’s physical and spiritual heirs, “Christians.” Abraham is our believing IN faith example. God made him the spiritual father of all Believers IN. No APOSTASY in Abraham‘s believing IN.

(Hebrews 11:17-19; “By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He had received the promises, yet he was ready to offer up his only son. God had told him, “Through Isaac, descendants will carry on your name,” and Abraham reasoned that God could even raise Isaac from the dead, and in a sense Abraham received him back from there.”) This Hebrews chapter is called the faith chapter, study the whole.

(Genesis 22:15-22; “The Lord’s angel called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, “‘I solemnly swear by My own name,’ decrees the Lord, ‘that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be as countless as the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the strongholds of their enemies. Because you have obeyed Me, all the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.’”) That name is Israel. Possessing enemies strongholds is reserved for Jesus’ millennial reign. (Study Isaiah 35:) God gave the same promises to Isaac and Jacob, whose name He changed to Israel, “meaning, God fights.

Jesus’ apostle Paul was given to understand.

(Galatians 3:15-18; “Brothers and sisters, I offer an example from everyday life: When a covenant has been ratified, even though it is only a human contract, no one can set it aside or add anything to it. Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say, “and to the descendants,” referring to many, but “and to your descendant,” referring to One, who is Christ. What I am saying is this: The law that came four hundred thirty years later does not cancel a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to invalidate the promise. For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave it to Abraham through the promise.”) (See Gen 12:7; 13:15; 17:7 & 24:7.) According to Paul, each of these should read to, “your descendent.”

God’s promises override the law! They don’t do away with the law. Recipients of God’s spirit love the law from a mature love point of view. We followers of Jesus, don’t need to be told, “you should not steal” or “you should not commit adultery” because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by God‘s fathering. Followers of Jesus are mindful of His promise, that we’re made righteous by “our being gifted to believe IN His shed blood for the remission of our sins.”

(Romans 5:8-11;”But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by His blood, we will be saved through Him from God’s wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by His life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.”) Has the spread of Professing Christianity made a dent in the apostasy Jude saw taking place?

Denominations would argue the point: but the simple truth is, “ going against God’s prescribed Way and making Jesus’ teaching fit their own desired opinion is the apostasy.” Our inherited nature wants to go along, “go with the flow” and follow popular traditions. God’s Way is to stand for truth, “let God be true though every person a liar.” (See Romans 3:4) God had Abraham separate from the populations at large, walk with HIM and be His friend. Jesus’ call to His followers are the same! (Come out from among!) See 2Cor 6:17.
