The Christian Obligation, chapter 10

To: People gifted with desire to be atOne with Jesus; “spiritual Isralites.” 5/6/2019, God’s 2nd month 1st day of Lyyar, 5,779 until sunset.

Chapter 3

People’s sin distressed God and prompted Him to strike out in judgment. His judgment oracles like those rendered at Gen 3;16-19 didn’t change Satan’s desire to rule nor people’s desire to decide for themselves what’s right, wrong, good and evil. God regretted He’d made humankind in His image and likeness. Though disobedience caused people’s lives to be filled with pain in child birth and toiling to produce food, there was little regret for their sins. Thankfully Noah found grace in God’s eyes.

Construction engineering progressed amazingly fast after Adam’s creation, remember Cain went out and built a city and naming it after his first born, “Enoch.” Tools made of iron were apparently more sophisticated than today’s world knows. (See Gen 4:17) If the Lord God gave Noah special talents or helps in making the ark it isn’t recorded. Pitch was a plentiful slimy tar, the remains from the previous flood. Noah’s ark may have been under construction a hundred years or more.

The ark’s construction and Noah’s warning about destruction because of sin was likely the most talked about thing of the time.

Noah was six hundred years old when the flood began.

There was only one race of people before the flood; Noah’s sons “Shem, Ham, and Japheth” would represent three major people groups.

Noah knew how the Lord God expected worship to be done, likely so did Adam, Cain, Enoch, Abel, Shem, Seth and Methuselah.

After flood waters receded, animal and bird kinds departed the ark, and Noah worshiped. Only clean animals and fowl were permitted for sacrifice to the Lord.

. (Gen 8:20; Noah built an altar to the Lord. He then took some of every kind of clean animal and clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.”

Satan did and is still camouflaging the real Jesus. He’s the Re-creator, Creator, Lord God that has flooded this earth twice, One who found Noah faithful, One who called Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses, One who purposely came to live in the flesh, shed His blood for the remission of sin, called His apostles, opened their minds to understand the scriptures, is head of His church, is going to return, resurrect His followers, bind Satan and bring peace. His apostles understood the significance of blood sacrifices from the time of Abel through when Jesus ascended.

(Hebrews 9:22-24; Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. So it was necessary for the sketches of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves required better sacrifices than these. (24) For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands – the representation of the true sanctuary – but into heaven itself, and He appears now in God’s presence for us.”) Life is in the blood, thus blood is sacred.

The Lord God Jesus said to Noah, Shem, Ham and Japheth; (Gen 9:4-5;  But you must not eat meat with its life (that is, its blood) in it. For your lifeblood I will surely exact punishment, from every living creature I will exact punishment. From each person I will exact punishment for the life of the individual since the man was his relative.” (Every person made in God’s image is a relative from God’s view.)

Gen 9:6-11; “Whoever sheds human blood, by other humans must his blood be shed; for in God’s image God has made humankind.” But as for you, be fruitful and multiply; increase abundantly on the earth and multiply on it.”

(8) God said to Noah and his sons, “Look! I now confirm My covenant with you and your descendants after you and with every living creature that is with you, including the birds, the domestic animals, and every living creature of the earth with you, all those that came out of the ark with you – every living creature of the earth. (11) I confirm My covenant with you: Never again will all living things be wiped out by the waters of a flood; never again will a flood destroy the earth.”)

(Gen 9:12-17; And God said, “This is the guarantee of the covenant I am making with you31 and every living creature with you, a covenant for all subsequent generations: (13) I will place My rainbow in the clouds, and it will become a guarantee of the covenant between Me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, then I will remember My covenant with you and with all living creatures of all kinds. Never again will the waters become a flood and destroy all living things. When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will notice it and remember the perpetual covenant between God and all living creatures of all kinds that are on the earth.” (17) So God said to Noah, “This is the guarantee of the covenant that I am confirming between Me and all living things that are on the earth.”) It’s significant that God’s covenant guarantee is repeated three times.

Today we have a preview of the Lord God Jesus’ kingdom on earth that Enoch “the seventh from Adam” and Jude wrote about. The Lord God Jesus taught and had His apostles teach the significance of people living as Godly families, representing the kingdom of God. Outgoing love is the principle, it isn’t new but better understood now that the Son of God “Jesus” has sent back His spirit of truth to live in Believers. The human family should be representative of God’s kingdom family. That is, Husbands representing God the Father, wives representing God the Son “Jesus” and children the church. Jesus inspired His apostle Paul to teach this balance He’d inspired Abraham to live.

(Colossians 3:18-21; “Wives, submit to your, “Christian” husbands as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands love your wives and do not be embittered against them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing in the Lord. (21) Fathers do not provoke your children so they will not become disheartened.”)

Husbands should be loving as God the Father loves Jesus’ church. Christ like wives should be submissive in good conscious to their husbands as Jesus is to His Father. Children will then be led to love by example and won’t be provoked, when trained according to Jesus’ leads. Jesus had His apostle Paul share these principles to His churches.

(Ephesians 5:20-21; “Always giving thanks to God the Father for each other in the name of “nature of” our Lord Jesus Christ and submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.”) No human should be revered and no Christian leader will ask to be. We revere Jesus when He’s revealed and love one another as He commanded because we love Him. Now Paul is writing to a people who were once unbelieving pagan followers of Satan, but now converted to be Believers IN Jesus.

(Eph 5:22-33; “Christian” wives, submit to your, “Christian” husbands as to the Lord, because the husband is the head of the wife as also Christ is the head of the church – He Himself being the Savior of the body, “the church.” But as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her to sanctify her by cleansing her with the washing of the water by the Word, so that He may present the church to Himself as glorious – not having a stain or wrinkle, or any such blemish, but holy and blameless. (28) In the same way husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves Himself. For no one has ever hated his own body, but he feeds it and takes care of it, just as Christ also does the church, for we are members of His body. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”) (Quote from Genesis 2:24) “AtOne is key to our understanding how Jesus wants families to be and how each Christian must be in relation to Jesus.

(Eph 5:33; “This mystery is great – but I am actually speaking with reference to Christ and the church. Nevertheless, each one of you must also love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”) Division doesn’t exist when people strive to be atOne with Jesus and God the Father. God the Father and God the Son are atOne in purpose. Jesus said, “I and My Father are one. (See John 10:30)

It’s about overcoming our inherited from Adam nature and Satan’s deceptions and respecting authority the world lost sight of before and after the flood. Enoch preached it in Adam’s day and Jude shared it as he saw the apostate taking place.

(Colossians 3:22-4:1; “Slaves, “employees” obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching – like those who are strictly people-pleasers – but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people, because you know that you will receive your inheritance from the Lord as the reward. Serve the Lord Christ. For the one who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there are no exceptions. Masters, treat your slaves with justice and fairness, because you know that you also have a master in heaven.”)

God knew the hearts of those before the flood and ours, He knows it isn’t always easy. Remember it’s why Creator Jesus purposely came to live in the flesh. He knows testing of character and spiritual growth aids in overall spiritual conquering, “overcoming.” Jesus’ covenant promises are to and with His followers, not the world at large. His apostles letters are to Christians; not this world’s unbelievers.

(Colossians 4:2-6; “Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us too, that God may open a door for the message so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may make it known as I should. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.”)

As were the majority before the flood, Unbelievers aren’t mindful of God’s opening doors for the message, nor can they understand the mystery of Christ living in a person, as in being, “born from above.”) Christ Jesus’ spirit of truth living in people, makes them atOne, “in family with” Himself and God the Father.”

(Ephesians 3:1-6; “For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles – if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that by revelation the divine secret “mystery” was made known to me, as I wrote before briefly. When reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into this secret “mystery” of Christ. (5) Now this secret was not disclosed to people in former generations as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit, namely, that through the gospel the Gentiles are fellow heirs, fellow members of the body, “church” and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus.”)

Jesus called Paul primarily to be the apostle to the gentiles, but to Israelites as well. Paul was a recipient of many revelations from Jesus; thus he was bold in saying, “my insight.” If we understand these things, we too are recipients of Jesus’ revelations and can say, “my insight.” Remember Jesus made Paul special as He did Noah.

(Acts 9:15-16; “But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go, because this man “Paul” is My chosen instrument to carry My name before Gentiles and kings and the people of Israel. For I “Jesus” will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of My name.”)

Satan has camouflaged all these teachings to the world of unbelievers.
