A calling to the Light is to seek God’s Way, but His Way must first be revealed. There’s a way that seems right to a person that leads to death.” See Proverbs 14:11. Trusting or  looking to one’s own intellect to determine right, wrong, good and evil is idolatry. Our leaning to their own understanding is the divisionary framework Satan relishes. Paul repeated Jesus’ teaching through him to God’s church at Rome to the Ephesians.

(Eph 1:3-10; “Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. For He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in His sight in love. He did this by predestining us to adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of His will – to the praise of the glory of His grace that He has freely bestowed on us in His dearly loved Son. In Jesus we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us in all wisdom and insight. (9) He did this when He revealed to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure that He set forth in Christ, toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ – the things in heaven and the things on earth.”) Looking to God for right, wrong, good and evil is believing IN. Anything else, any other way is idolatry

The awesomeness of God’s preplanning is beyond our fleshly rational thinking. Such is foreign to the fleshy mind, but revealed understanding. Trying to comprehend from our fleshly minds only results in more division. Understand too, “we only love God because He first loved us.” This too is gifted spiritual discernment. So, does that answer the question of; why the many denominations? However, once God is revealed and we’re called to believe IN, “we know to whom we belong.”

(Eph 1:11-14; “In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of Him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His will so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ would be to the praise of His glory. And when you heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation) – when you believed IN Christ – you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit, who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.”)

Other scriptures also teach; “we who are gifted to be Believers IN aren’t our own.” It’s wise to consider whose property we are and know “only the few are led to believe IN the word of truth in this age.” Believing IN Jesus’ message is the good news that saves. He revealed the same to Peter and he to us.

(1Peter 1:3-7; “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that is into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials. Such trials show the proven character of your faith which is much more valuable than gold – gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”)

Salvation in this age is all about being called and Jesus being revealed. Know; “spiritual discernment is gifted revelation.” No amount of book learning can give it! Believing IN is also realizing the result of living according to what’s revealed as “right, wrong, good and evil. It’s latter day knowledge not decimated “before Jesus’ glorification” in the detail revealed to His apostles.

(1Peter 1:8-12; “You, “followers of Jesus” have not seen Him, but you love Him. You do not see Him now but you believe IN Him and so you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy because you are attaining the goal of your faith – the salvation of your souls “being.” Concerning this salvation the prophets who predicted the grace that would come to you searched and investigated carefully. They probed into what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when He testified beforehand about the sufferings appointed for Christ and his subsequent glory. They were shown that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things now announced to you through those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven – things angels long to catch a glimpse of.”)

Prophets of old, nor were angels given the understanding now revealed through the holy spirit of truth to we called in this latter age. Remember Jesus’ parable about the “first becoming last and the last first?”

(1Peter 1:13-16; “Therefore get your minds ready for action by being fully sober, and set your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. Like obedient children, do not comply with the evil urges you used to follow in your ignorance, but, like the Holy One who called you, become holy yourselves in all of your conduct, for it is written “You shall be holy, because I am holy.”) We’re to be holy by “gifted Believe IN” and be yielded to our new gifted nature.

(1Peter 1:17; “And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence.”) The Feast of Tabernacles foreshadows our living this temporary life in the flesh.

(1Peter 1:18-19; “You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed – not by perishable things like silver or gold, but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.”) Christ’s sacrifice for the remission of our and this world’s sins was preplanned.

(1Peter 1:20-25; “Jesus was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was manifested in these last times for your sake. Through Jesus you now trust in God who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory so that your faith and hope are in God. You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart. You have been born anew not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off, but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was proclaimed to you.”)

Each Believer IN Jesus is, “one born anew” one “born from above” “one born again” God calls, “gives discernment, desire and effort to, grant His gift of eternal life.”

From God’s view, we Believers IN aren’t in the flesh “spiritually speaking.” From God’s view we Believers IN are in the spirit “if so be that God’s spirit dwells in us.” Thus through Jesus we’re inheriting eternal life and the kingdom of God.

Jesus said, “our being led to know and be obedient was God the Father’s choice.” Again, it’s natural to contemplate “why me?” Again, the answer is “by grace, mercy and for His purpose.” Our inherited from Adam desire and nature must be changed to an inherited gifted spiritual desire that’s God gifted. Remember how Jesus explaining to Nicodemus that people must be, “born from above” and explained how that happens? Re-study John 3: and for our purpose, zero in on verses 6-8 again. (What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”)

It’s time for review. All worldly religions zealously lean to their fleshly inherited intellect and all have a zeal for the god of their imagination, “but not in line with Jesus’ truth.” Again consider Paul’s explanation about the Israelites zeal. Re-study Romans 10:1-4 and 8:11-2.

God’s calling us to Jesus’ Light includes gifted understanding that everything before Jesus’ ascension was a contribution to our spiritual learning. Israelites and gentile converts under Moses, Joshua, the judges, Saul, David, Solomon and the kings, who followed Him were under the law “for their good.” Children and unconverted adults are still under God’s law “for their good.” Spiritually converted to “Jesus’ Way people” are gifted to love the spiritual intent of the law as did Jesus and His apostles. Thus Paul could teach God’s church at Rome and we Believers IN, “The Lord knows those who are His.” Re-study the previous two studies, Romans 8:1-39. AND Ephesians 1:1-14 and 1Peter 1:1-25.

We prayerfully hope that each reader becomes a prayer partner; an ambassador of Jesus’ and mindful that God is using other avenues to spread Jesus’ good news. Google search: “Church of God Sabbath keepers” to find other associates. Always proving all things and hold fast to what is good. (“Do not extinguish the Spirit. Do not treat prophecies with contempt. But examine all things; hold fast to what is good. Stay away from every form of evil.” 1Thess 5:19-22)

Today’s denominations are like the Israelites Paul wrote about. They looked around and observed that the pagans around them were doing okay. Their not being Believers IN caused them to fall into Satan’s clutches of deciding for themselves what’s right, wrong, good and evil. That was a  gigantic error camouflaging their once held view that God chose then “a people for His purposes.” Denomination attempt to simplify saying, “we’re all tying to get to the same place.” While all profess a believe in a Jesus of their imagination for salvation. Not comprehending God’s pattern of choosing Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses. Nor that Jesus was in fact the Lord God who dwelt with and chose them. That same Jesus chose His apostles and said to the Israelites, “You refuse to believe because you are not My sheep. My sheep listen to My voice, I know them and they follow Me. I give them eternal life and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from My hand. My Father who has given them to Me, is greater than all and no one can snatch them from My Father’s hand. The Father and I are One.” John 10:26-29)

People establishing their own righteousness as did the Israelites of old, fall to the demonic notion, “every person is born to live forever someplace.” Omitting Jesus’ Word, “I give them eternal life” and Jesus’ revelations to Paul on the subject.
