Plans for God’s chosen, chapter 15

Jan 7 - 2,020. God’s 10th Month, Tevet 10, year 5,780

To: A people gifted with desire to be atOne with God, “His church.”

Jesus’ apostles were expecting the likes of another Nebuchadnezzar type governmental authority to immerge. When I served in the US military we used a universal time for worldwide events and various military movements. Everyone could equate time to their particular areas. Likewise time zones serves the world similarly for trade and one world order. Christians desiring to observe sanctified ‘set aside times’ days begin and ends at sunset. Central time in the USA equates to ten hours earlier in Jerusalem. God’s set aside times begins at Jerusalem and moves around as the earth turns. Nations and organized worldly religions are working toward a one world order; ‘a one world government if you please.’ The idea began in Babylon, God confused languages to slow the process. Satan used King Nebuchadnezzar back in Daniel’s day, attempting to have people submit to a god of his making. Read about it at Daniel 3: We could call it a dry run for what Satan is planning in the near future. Jesus refers to Satan as the old devil, a beast, dragon, prince of the power of the air and the deceiver. As always, study the whole.

(Revelations 13:5-8; “The beast was given a mouth speaking proud words and blasphemies and he was permitted to exercise ruling authority for forty-two months. So the beast opened his mouth to blaspheme against God – to blaspheme both His name and His dwelling place, that is, those who dwell in heaven. (7) The beast was permitted to go to war against the Saints and conquer them. He was given ruling authority over every tribe, people, language, nation, and all those who live on the earth will worship the beast, everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world in the book of life belonging to the Lamb who was killed. “It was given to him to go to war?”)

(Here the passive construction has been simplified, the referent (the beast) has been specified for clarity, and καί (kai) has not been translated because of differences between Greek and English style. “Many manuscripts omit the phrase “it was given to make war with the Saints and to overcome them” It is, however, found in, (051 1006 (1611) 1841 (1854) 2329 2344 2351). Although the manuscript evidence is somewhat in favor of the shorter reading. (a recently-discovered manuscript) for the longer reading balances things out. Normally, the shorter reading should be given preference. However, in an instance in which homoioteleuton could play a role, caution must be exercised. In this passage, accidental omission is quite likely. That this could have happened seems apparent from the two occurrences of the identical phrase “and it was given to him in v. 7.” The scribe’s eye seemingly skipped over the first καὶ ἐδόθη αὐτῷ and went to the second, hence creating an accidental omission of eleven words.”)

As in Nebuchadnezzar’s day, “the beast is also the system of things imposed.” Consider what’s imposed on so called democracies today.

(Rev 13:9-10; “If anyone has an ear, he had better listen! If anyone is meant for captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed by the sword, then by the sword he must be killed. This requires steadfast endurance and faith from the Saints.”)

God has planned from the foundation of the world. Saints know Jesus’ message, thus not possible to deceive. (For then there will be great suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the world until now, or ever will happen. And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the Elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe him. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect.” (Matthew 24:21-24)

(Rev 13:11-15; “Then I saw another beast coming up from the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but was speaking like a dragon. He exercised all the ruling authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and those who inhabit it worship the first beast, the one whose lethal wound had been healed. He performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven in front of people and, by the signs he was permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, he deceived those who live on the earth. He told those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who had been wounded by the sword, but still lived. (15) The second beast was empowered to give life ‘breath’ to the image of the first beast so that it could speak, and could cause all those who did not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”)

(“Life - breath?” In context the point is that the image of the first beast is made to come to life and speak of the beast; the word “first” has been supplied to specify the referent.)

(Rev 13:16-18; “He also caused everyone (small and great, rich and poor, free and slave) to obtain a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast – that is, his name or his number. This calls for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the beast’s number, for it is man’s number, and his number is 666.”)

Holy scriptures teach us to compare scripture to scripture to obtain truth.

The following if from Net Bible translators, just for observation. The translation man’s number suggests that the beast’s number is symbolic of humanity in general, while the translation a man’s number suggests that it represents an individual. A few manuscripts along with a few manuscripts known to Irenaeus {and two minuscule manuscripts, 5 and 11, no longer extant} (read 616 here, and several other witnesses have other variations. Irenaeus’ mention of manuscripts that have 616 is balanced by his rejection of such witnesses in this case. As intriguing as the reading 616 is (since the conversion of Nero Caesar’s name in Latin by way of gematria would come out to 616), it must remain suspect because such a reading seems motivated in that it conforms more neatly to Nero’s gematria.”)

Wickedness worldwide.

Consider a portion of (Psalms 37:1-8; “Do not fret when wicked men seem to succeed! Do not envy evildoers! For they will quickly dry up like grass, and wither away like plants. Trust in the Lord and do what is right! Settle in the land and maintain your integrity! Then you will take delight in the Lord, and He will answer your prayers. Commit your future to the Lord! Trust in Him, and He will act on your behalf.”) (Psalms 37:9-11; Wicked men will be wiped out, but those who rely on the Lord are the ones who will possess the land. Evil men will soon disappear; you will stare at the spot where they once were, but they will be gone. But the oppressed will possess the land and enjoy great prosperity.”) (Psalms 37:18; The Lord watches over the innocent day by day and they possess a permanent inheritance.”) (Psalms 37:23; The Lord grants success to the one whose behavior He finds commendable. Even if he trips, he will not fall headlong, for the Lord holds his hand.”) (Psalms 37:29-40; The godly will possess the land and will dwell in it permanently. The godly speak wise words and promote justice. The law of their God controls their thinking; their feet do not slip. But the Lord delivers the godly; He protects them in times of trouble. The Lord helps them and rescues them; He rescues them from evil men and delivers them, for they seek His protection.”)

As we see Jesus’ Matthew 24: prophecies coming to pass, Paul’s

letters have more meaning and remember he’s giving his opinion

(1Corinthians 7:32-40; “And I want you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord. But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how to please his wife, and he is divided. An unmarried woman or a virgin is concerned about the things of the Lord, to be holy both in body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the things of the world, how to please her husband. (35) I am saying this for your benefit, not to place a limitation on you, but so that without distraction you may give notable and constant service to the Lord. If anyone thinks he is acting inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the bloom of youth and it seems necessary, he should do what he wishes; he does not sin. Let them marry. (37) But the man who is firm in his commitment, and is under no necessity but has control over his will, and has decided in his own mind to keep his own virgin, does well. So then, the one who marries his own virgin does well, but the one who does not, does better. A wife is bound as long as her husband is living. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes (only someone in the Lord). But in my opinion, she will be happier if she remains as she is – and I think that I too have the Spirit of God!’)

Sacrifice to Idols and mindful of revelations yet to be.

(1Cor 8:1-3; “With regard to food sacrificed to idols, we know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know. (3) But if someone loves God, he is known by God.”)

Note Paul’s reversal of, (1John 4:19; We love because He loved us first.) Saying (“if someone loves God, he is known of God.” It works both ways! If we love God, He gave the desire.

(1Cor 8:4-5; “With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that “an idol in this world is nothing,” and that “there is no God but one.” If after all there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live.”)

God only reveals Himself to the called and those being called. People have been making imaginary gods since the ‘Serpent - Satan’ deceived Eve and Adam. There’re many gods who only has power with folks who’re hostile toward our Creator’s authority in all things. For His own purpose we don’t really understand God permits Satan to do miracles through ‘demonic/ witchcraft type means’ similar to those duplicated back when the Lord God did miracles through Moses and Aaron in Egypt. Similar to what the pagans practiced, whose lands God gave Israel.

(Deut 18:9-14’; When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, you must not learn the abhorrent practices of those nations. There must never be found among you anyone who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, anyone who practices divination, an omen reader, a soothsayer, a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who conjures up spirits, a practitioner of the occult, or a necromancer. Whoever does these things is abhorrent to the LORD and because of these detestable things the LORD your God is about to drive them out from before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God. Those nations that you are about to dispossess listen to omen readers and diviners, but the LORD your God has not given you permission to do such things.”) We must resist such desires of the flesh Satan is able to make appealing and conjure up,
