Plans for God’s chosen, chapter 26

Jan 27, 2,020. God’s 11th Month, Sh’vat 1, year 5,780

To: 23,174 families, gifted with a desire to be atOne with God.

Jesus’ ambassadors know they’re branches clinging to Him for spiritual nourishment. Know Jesus as the Vine “they the branches through whom the Vine reveals to the called.” Paul knew himself a branch of the Vine through whom God is still calling out a people to be atOne with Jesus.

(Romans 10:11-13; For the scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” (Quote from Isa 28:16) For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on Him.  For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.) (BUT.)

(Rom 10:14-15; How are they to call on One they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in One they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching ‘teaching’ to them? (15) And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.”) (We must obey through knowing faith.)

(Rom 10:16-17; But not all have obeyed the good news, for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report ?” (Quote from Isaiah 53:1) Consequently faith comes from what is heard ‘understood’ and what is heard comes through the preached ‘taught’ word of Christ.”)

(Rom 10:18-19; But I ask, have they not heard? Yes, they have: Their voice has gone out to all the earth and their words to the ends of the world. But again I ask, didn’t Israel understand? First Moses says, “I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; with a senseless nation I will provoke you to anger.”) (God said; because of Israel’s stubbornness, He’d make them jealous until a set time.) (That set time is coming, “See Isaiah 22:,35:,51: ,53:,65: Jeremiah 31: and Amos 9:11-15 for starters.”

The called understand, the spiritual key is gifted belief IN.

99% of people calling themselves believers aren’t, “they may believe a god exist” but don’t believe IN ‘as in KNOWING the God of Israel.’ (All who’re called to believe IN Jesus as He’s manifest to be in Holy scripture will be saved.) Called ambassadors put forth His Word with assurance that the called will understand, “turn from what had previously seemed right to the fleshly mind” to what God says is right.)

Thus the desire and effort to believe IN Jesus is supernaturally gifted. (Phil 2:13; For the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort — for the sake of His good pleasure — is God.) To be saved people have to be “born from above, begotten or fathered by God’s spirit. (John 3:13; The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”) (The New Covenant is God’s promises to the “born again.”)

Since Adam and Eve’s deceptions by Satan “it’s in each person’s inherited fleshly nature to suppose God made a method of works: “denomination have a prescribed method” and each dead wrong. (1Cor 1:21; For since in the wisdom of God the world by its wisdom did not know God, God was pleased to save those who believe by the foolishness of preaching.) Paul understood and thus wrote; (1Cor 2:4; My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of ‘fleshly’ wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.”)

Paul knew he was in Christ and Christ in him, he knew himself to be

“a circumcision of heart person” that would be resurrected as was Jesus. Understanding too that Jesus’ faithfulness saved.

(Philippians 3:2-11; “Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of those who mutilate the flesh! For we ‘Christians’ are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, exult in Christ Jesus, and do not rely on human credentials – though mine too are significant. If someone thinks he has good reasons to put confidence in human credentials, I have more: I was circumcised on the eighth day, from the people of Israel and the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews. I lived according to the law as a Pharisee. (6) In my zeal for God I persecuted the church. According to the righteousness stipulated in the law I was blameless. But these assets I have come to regard as liabilities because of Christ. More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things – indeed, I regard them as dung! – that I may gain Christ, and be found in Him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness – a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness. (10) My aim is to know Him, to experience the power of His resurrection, to share in His sufferings, and to be like Him in His death and so somehow to attain to the resurrection from the dead.”)

Over and over Paul shared that credentials amounted to nothing in regard to spiritual understanding.

‘Ambassadors’ like stewards are commanded to examine themselves in Jesus’ light. Paul’s words applied to all who’re converted to God‘s Way.

(1Cor 4:2-4; “Now what is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful. So for me, it is a minor matter that I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord.”) (Even if not aware of anything, God is our judge; “we need to self examine.”

(Ephesians 2:8-10; “For by ‘His’ grace you are saved through ‘gifted’ faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we ‘believers’ are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.”) (See also, Rom 3:30-31; Gal 3:14; Eph 3:17 and Col 2:12.) (We’re created in Christ Jesus through the imputation of His spirit.)

King David wrote Psalms 34 after pretending to be insane

before Abimelech; causing Abimelech to send him away.

(Psalms 34:1-7; I will praise the Lord at all times; my mouth will continually praise Him. (2) I will boast in the Lord; let the oppressed hear and rejoice! Magnify the Lord with me! Let’s praise His name together! I sought the Lord’s help and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. (5) Those who look to Him for help are happy; their faces are not ashamed. This oppressed man cried out and the Lord heard; He saved him from all his troubles. (7) The Lord’s angel camps around the Lord’s loyal followers and delivers them.)

(Psalms 34:8-10; Taste and see that the Lord is good! How blessed is the one who takes shelter in Him! Remain loyal to the Lord; you chosen people of His, for His loyal followers lack nothing! Even young lions sometimes lack food and are hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.)

(Psalms 34:11-15; Come children! Listen to me! I will teach you what it means to fear the Lord. Do you want to really live? Would you love to live a long, happy life? Then make sure you don’t speak evil words or use deceptive speech! Turn away from evil and do what is right! Strive for peace and promote it! The Lord pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help.)

(Psalms 34:16-22; But the Lord opposes evildoers and wipes out all memory of them from the earth. The godly cry out and the Lord hears; He saves them from all their troubles. The Lord is near the brokenhearted; He delivers those who are discouraged. The godly face many dangers, but the Lord saves them from each one of them. He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken. Evil people self-destruct; those who hate the godly are punished. The Lord rescues his servants; all who take shelter in Him escape punishment.”)

Self examination in Jesus’ light is only through knowing Him. From our fleshly nature inherited nature from Adam, we love celebrating self serving anniversaries, parades that excite even when they aren’t understood and rioting appeals to the lawless. In general “there’s two ways of life, the get way and the give way.” Unconverted people too have capacity to choose the better when taught properly.

Converted to God’s way people are gifted to understand the “mysteries of the New Covenant” which is God’s gifted energizing Holy Spirit making each love His Way. The difference in the old and new covenants is “loving God’s way opposed to the inherited hostility toward it.” His New Covenant only applies to His Way people, it’s a nature change, a life changer, an outlook change, a desire change and the down payment to eternal life. With this gifted knowledge comes a responsibility to mimic our Perfector and Pioneer of our faith, “Jesus.”

Jesus’ coming and teaching revealed to Moses.

(Deuteronomy 18:15-19; “The Lord your God will raise up for you ‘Israelites’ a prophet like me from among you – from your fellow Israelites; you must listen to Him. This accords with what happened at Horeb in the day of the assembly. You asked the Lord your God: “Please do not make us hear the voice of the Lord our God any more or see this great fire any more lest we die.” (17) The Lord then said to me, “What they have said is good. (18) I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put My words in His mouth and He will speak to them whatever I command. I will personally hold responsible anyone who then pays no attention to the words that prophet speaks in My name.”)

(Deut 18:20-22; “But if any prophet presumes to speak anything in My name that I have not authorized him to speak, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. Now if you say to yourselves, ‘How can we tell that a message is not from the Lord?’ – whenever a prophet speaks in My name and the prediction is not fulfilled, then I have not spoken it; the prophet has presumed to speak it, so you need not fear him.”)

Examining self in Jesus’ light is for those who He‘s revealed to, those knowing His message and characteristics. It’s knowing His government is coming. (“The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow: “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen. I will break Assyria in My land; I will trample them underfoot on My hills. Their yoke will be removed from My people; the burden will be lifted from their shoulders. This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; My hand is ready to strike all the nations.” Indeed, the Lord who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it? Isaiah 14:24-27”)

The hope faith of all Jesus’ followers is that His kingdom soon come. His peace and knowledge of His Way is promised through His prophets. Self examination includes seeking God’s will in all things and preparing our minds to think as He’d have us to.
