God’s Grace, Mercy and Love, chapter 6

March 21, 2,020. God’s 12th Month, Adar 25, year 5,789

To: 24,344 “In Resident Churches of God” people called to be ‘atOne’ with Him.

Judeans in Jesus day had already gone off truth’s reservation,

thinking to keep a semblance of the law and their being Abraham’s

descendents made them righteous. Similar to denominations today.

(John 8:32; Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed Him, “If you continue to follow My teaching, you are really My disciples and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” The Judeans replied.

(John 8:33-37; “We are descendants of Abraham and have never been anyone’s slaves! How can You say, ‘You will become free’?” Jesus answered them, “I tell you the solemn truth, everyone who practices sin is a slave of sin. The slave does not remain in the family forever, but the Son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be really free. I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. But you want to kill me, because My teaching makes no progress among you. (38) I am telling you the things I have seen while with the Father; as for you, practice the things you have heard from the “your” Father!” (John 8:41; clarifies Jesus’ meaning.) (John 8:41; You people are doing the deeds of your father.” Then they said to Jesus, “We were not born as a result of immorality! We have only one Father, God himself.”) (These Judeans knew Jesus was born before Mary’s marriage. They didn‘t understand nor do they yet, “Jesus was immaculately fathered.”)

Worldly denominations still don’t understand “who we obey is our god.” Creator Jesus gave Adam superior intellect to name animals according to their characteristics and name Eve accordingly.

Consider Adam’s gifted intellect.

(Gen 2:18-20; “The Lord God ‘Jesus’ said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion for him who corresponds to him.” The Lord God formed out of the ground every living animal of the field and every bird of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them, and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. (20) So the man named all the animals, the birds of the air, and the living creatures of the field, but for Adam no companion who corresponded to him was found.”

(21-25; So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was asleep, He took part of the man’s side and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the part He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man. (23) Then the man said, “This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.“ That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife and they become a new family. The man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed.”)

(Before the foundation of this earth, God preplanned “the way” in which we could inherit immortality and be members of His family.)

We can’t know Godly love until He’s revealed.

God is the personification of love; it’s obvious that He does and plans all things from His loving characteristics. Destroying evil and allowing Satan’s demonic obstacles for a preplanned time and providing ‘the way” for His chosen to inherit a new nature like His is love. The adversary is Satan and his objective is to cause a disbelief, division, chaos and in general cause folks to overlook their need to overcome their inherited from Adam nature. The biblical accounts of Satan’s causing folks to go against God’s will are many.

(1Chronicles 21:1; “An adversary opposed Israel, inciting David to count how many warriors Israel had.”) (“Adversary Or “Satan?” The Hebrew word can refer to an adversary in general or Satan in particular.) When David numbered the army of Israel, he was demonstrating his distrust in God. As today, when nations build up their military for the purpose of protection, they’re demonstrating their distrust. (Read the account of Satan tempting Job and his communing with God at Job 1: and 2:)

Study Matthew 4: to discern Satan’s knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and how Jesus handled his temptations. Satan promised Jesus the kingdoms of the world if He’d worship him. Jesus never said; “kingdoms aren’t yours to give,” for He’s the One allowing him to be god of this world’s system of things for a set time. Until that set time Satan is the conqueror of nations, the influencing force that’s causing world wide division and chaos. Jesus inspired Isaiah’s mind to share Satan’s demise. (Re-study Isaiah 14:12-15)

The background for the imagery in the whole section is directed to the demonically influenced king of Babylon, clearly depicted as a human ruler influenced by Satan. Other kings address Satan as “the man” in v. 16, and, according to vv. 19-20, Satan can possess a physical body. The language of vv. 12-15 has led some to see a dual referent in the taunt song. These verses, which appear to be spoken by other pagan kings to a pagan king (9-11), contain several titles and motifs that resemble those of Canaanite mythology, including references to Helel son of Shachar, the stars of El, the mountain of assembly, the recesses of Zaphon and the divine title Most High.

Apparently these verses allude to a Satanic mythological story about a minor god (Helel son of Shachar) who tried to take over Zaphon, the mountain of the gods. As the mythology goes, his attempted coup failed and he was hurled down to the underworld. The king of Babylon is taunted for having similar unrealized delusions of grandeur. It’s prophesied that Satan will again attempt similar undertakings, do miracles in this later age, work through human subjects, force people to worship an image and receive a mark in order to buy and sell.

Job’s witnessing Babylon, Jezebel, prophecies regarding Satan and Israel’s stubbornness are all written for our understanding and learning. Jesus’ apostle Paul was inspired to share; (“For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope. Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:4-6)

It’s God’s grace, mercy and love that He preserved the Holy Scripture for our purification. Peter shares his revelations as following; “You ‘followers of Jesus’ have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart. You ’followers of Jesus’  have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” 1Peter 1:22-25)

(Flesh like grass? Is a metaphor for humanity – fleshly humans is both frail and temporary. God’s in the process of making believers “in His spiritual likeness so each inherits eternal life.”)

(Heb 9:27-28; “And just as people are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await Him He will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.”)

God’s Love defined.

God the Father and God the Son ‘Jesus,’ from their eternal characteristic of love, holiness and righteousness; created humankind in their image and likeness for the ultimate purpose of making “faith believers” literal spiritual children, “Gods.”

The holy scriptures don’t necessarily give reasons for Satan‘s rebellion; however it’s likely, when he learned of God’s plan to spiritually birth fleshly humankind into His spiritual family, he became jealous and led other angelic beings to follow him in pursuit of building an adverse to God’s kingdom. Thus Paul was inspired to write; (“some teachers want a chance to be regarded as our equals in the things they boast about. For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.” 2Corinthians 11:12-15.)

The arrogant boastful don’t realize they’re born with a deceitful heart.

It’s a demonic inspired fleshly characteristic that causes desires to disguise one’s self as something they aren’t. It’s natural that fleshly people stretch things to impress others to view them as they’d like themselves to be thought of. This describes the nature we inherit from Adam. A deceitful sin or lawlessness toward God nature that must be changed is what we inherited from Adam. Jesus inspired Jeremiah to give revelations regarding our inherited trust in our own intellect, “our human nature.”

(Jeremiah 17:5-8; The Lord says, “I will put a curse on people who trust in mere human beings, who depend on mere flesh and blood for their strength, and whose hearts have turned away from the Lord. They will be like a shrub in the desert. They will not experience good things even when they happen. It will be as though they were growing in the desert, in a salt land where no one can live. (7) My blessing is on those people who trust in Me, who put their confidence in Me. They will be like a tree planted near a stream whose roots spread out toward the water. It has nothing to fear when the heat comes. Its leaves are always green. It has no need to be concerned in a year of drought. It does not stop bearing fruit.”)

(Jer 17:9-11; “The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it? I, the Lord, probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done. (11) The person who gathers wealth by unjust means is like the partridge that broods over eggs but does not hatch them. Before his life is half over he will lose his ill-gotten gains. At the end of his life it will be clear he was a fool.”)

The fleshly mind thinks God’s condoning allows people to do what they think is right. Paul was given understanding and shared it with called Believers at Romans 1: particularly verses 15-21.)
