God’s Truth Explored, chapter 5

To: “10,403 “in resident churches” people desiring to be “At One with God.” 4/13/18, God’s 1st month, Nisan 28, 5778 until sunset.

Every individual’s god “compels an action or inaction.” Internal beliefs have individuals in various comfort zones. Our English dictionary defines god as, (1) a person admired, as was rock music a god of the early seventies. (2) something that dominates, taking over a person’s life. (3) a figure or image representing a god: used as an object of worship. (4) a supernatural being or group of beings of some religion which is worshiped as the personification or controller of some aspect of the universe.

Anything idolized is a god. Many people’s god “is their own intellect.” All the above make for enslaving religions. When our Creator God is supernaturally revealed as “manifest to be in the holy scriptures” it’s freedom from all the above. Believing IN the true God is not a religion. Believing IN the true God is: “The Way that makes individuals AT ONE with Jesus.” Writing to followers of Jesus, His apostle John wrote.

(1John 3:1-3; “See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children – and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him. Dear friends, we are God’s children now and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope focused on Him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure.”)

When God gifts a recognition of one’s internal inherited fleshly nature for what it is; “it’s despised and a change is desired.” Repentance is “a turning from our inherited nature.” “That inherited from Adam nature.” “From indoctrinations implanted by this world’s system of things.” It begins when God opens one’s mind to the deceitfulness of our inherited nature. Only then do people recognize “the susceptibility of our minds” to society’s erroneous teaching. We’re susceptible to ideas planted from birth. ALL erroneous learning is Satan inspired indoctrination!

Think how different you’d be, “if you had been reared by different parents” a different educational system or a different religion. (If spiritually led to seriously consider such questions, “you are among the few.”) Perhaps such leading is proof of being supernaturally called. We know spiritual understanding is from above. Pray about this and seek God’s freedom.

Did our Creator God made Adam and Eve susceptible to deception purposely? He did; “but He is not susceptible to deception.” God is holy, pure, righteous, true! AND “He made the Way for His chosen to be clothed in the nature of Jesus.” To believe IN God and be AT ONE with Him. Led to love the things He loves and hate the things He hates. Things holy to God are holy to Believers IN! The holy scriptures teach; “as we grow in His faith we are freed from this susceptibility to deception.” God makes His chosen Saints.

Jesus says about Satan’s deceptions; “if possible, even the Saints would be deceived.” (See Matt 24:24;For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect.”) Can we understand, “believing IN Jesus is the only true freedom?” Let’s review our last study. Jesus inspired Jeremiah to write for our learning.

(Jeremiah 17:9-10; “The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it? I, the Lord probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done.”)

People who aren’t led to be obedient to God’s way are deceived by Satan and their our susceptible minds “to live according to the flesh.” Thus most aren’t led to challenge this world’s system of things and its erroneous deceptions. Susceptible to it’s erroneous teachings as “Satan inspires and leads this worlds system to.” Our natural inherited nature doesn’t lead to spiritual study, “prove all things and hold fast to what is good.” God leads His chosen to pay attention to His teaching through Isaiah.

(Isaiah 66:1-2; This is what the Lord says: “The heavens are My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is the house you will build for Me? Where is the place where I will rest? My hand made them; that is how they came to be,” says the Lord. I show special favor to the humble and contrite, who respects what I have to say.”)

With this understanding in mind, “what contributes to individuals having a humble, contrite mind and respect for God’s Way? Can individuals independently conjure up such a mental outlook? A respect for and believe IN what God says? NO. (As David was called, granted belief IN and respect for God, “so must we.”) Consider this song of David’s. (Selah is a musical term - it’s meaning unknown.)

(Psalms 32:1-8; “How blessed is the one whose rebellious acts are forgiven, whose sin is pardoned! How blessed is the one whose wrongdoing the Lord does not punish, in whose spirit there is no deceit.” (How can one have a spirit in which there is no deceit?) (3) When I refused to confess my sin, my whole body wasted away, while I groaned in pain all day long. For day and night You tormented me; You tried to destroy me in the intense heat of summer.” (Selah) ) A better translation is: “You try me, destroying my will as with intense heat of summer.” (Heat? ‘If one understands the form as a true plural, then one might translate’ “in the times of drought.”) David likens his torment to being uncomfortable as is summer heat.

(Psalms 32:5-7; “Then I confessed my sin; I no longer covered up my wrongdoing.” I said, “I will confess my rebellious acts “my practice of sin” to the Lord.” And then You forgave my sins. (Selah) (6) For this reason every one of Your faithful followers should pray to You while there is a window of opportunity. Certainly when the surging water rises, it will not reach them. You are my hiding place; You protect me from distress. You surround me with shouts of joy from those celebrating deliverance. (Selah) (David was led to repentance and “true freedom.)

(Psalms 32:8; I will instruct and teach you about how you should live. I will advise you as I look you in the eye. Do not be like an unintelligent horse or mule, which will not obey you unless they are controlled by a bridle and bit. An evil person suffers much pain, but the Lord’s faithfulness overwhelms the one who trusts in Him. Rejoice in the Lord and be happy, you who are godly! Shout for joy, all you who are morally upright!”)

What overwhelms those who trust in God? The Lord’s faithfulness! Unbelievers and scoffers are in bondage, “going the way that seems right to themselves.” Their way of living is based on “parental training, education and in the system of things their particular society dictates.” Thus, a systematic division that’s devised by the demonic.

What a paradox; “this world’s modern religious societies are in.” Each condones “doctrinal division as the norm” their point of view being; “we are all trying to get to the same place.” These groups are NOT Believers IN and “followers of Jesus.” They promote themselves as teachers of light. Jesus, through His apostle Paul reveals “the truth on this subject.”

(2Corinthians 11:13-15; “For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it’s no surprise that his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.”)

Believers IN are led to study God’s Word; “led to recognize proofs of God’s control.” Soon recognize the significance of God’s use of dates and times. Six days before Jesus’ death; (the 8th day, first month, “Nisan” on Judea’s calendar.) Jesus was at Lazarus’ house and, Mary, “one of Lazarus’ sisters” anointed Jesus’ feet. (see John 12:) Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover and give Himself for the remission of sin. In this same season many years before, “Jesus was about to lead Israel from Egypt.” Forty years after that, “Israel was crossing the Jordan and celebrating the Passover.”

(Joshua 4:19; The people went up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first monthNisan” and camped in Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho.) Israelites’ crossing the Jordan was four days before Passover. Likely the same date Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem.
