John The Apostle, chapter 15

To: 11,115 Churches of God, “people being made temples of His spirit.”

5/25/1, God’s 3rd month, Sivan 12, 5778 until sunset.

(1st lie: Gen 3: God knows you won’t surely die, but be as divine beings)

Satan’s doctrinal assumption being, “all people are born to live forever someplace and choose for self what is right, wrong, good and evil.” Consider Satan’s shrewdness in his lie and it’s consequence.

(Genesis 3:1-5; “Now the serpent was more shrewd than any of the wild animals that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Is it really true that God said, ‘You must not eat from any tree of the orchard’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit from the trees of the orchard; but concerning the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the orchard, God said, ‘You must not eat from it, and you must not touch it, or else you will die.’” “Satan was saying, God lied.” “Surely you will not die, for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.”)

See the problems caused by Satan’s lie? From within our inherited fleshly nature, “people like the idea of being divine” that is, like choosing for themselves what’s right, wrong, good and evil!” Which is idolatry, rebellion, “sin” “lawlessness” against our Creator. (Does not our Creator have the right to teach us what’s right, wrong, good and evil for our good?) IS NOT our Creator the giver of life? The Word to Adam was, “if you disobey, you will surely die.” Satan’s pattern is to gives out half truths. (Satan knew eternal life would be gifted through the life giver, “Jesus.) Remember Jesus’ Word, recorded at John 3:35-36.?

(“The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under His authority. The one who believes IN the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.”) John’s good news is, “Jesus’ Word teaches that life and salvation are through Himself.”

(John 6:1-9; “After this Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (also called the Sea of Tiberias). A large crowd was following Him because they were observing the miraculous signs He was performing on the sick. So Jesus went on up the mountainside and sat down there with His disciples.(4) (Now the Jewish feast of the Passover was near.) Then Jesus, when He looked up and saw that a large crowd was coming to Him, said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread so that these people may eat?” (Now Jesus said this to test him, for He knew what He was going to do.) Philip replied, “Two hundred silver coins worth of bread would not be enough for them, for each one to get a little.” One of Jesus’ disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “Here is a boy who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what good are these for so many people?”) John making reference to the Passover as being “the Jewish feast” gives us to know his intended readers are from differing backgrounds. Remember Jesus had already taught the woman at the well: (John 4:22; “You people worship what you do not know. We worship what we know, because salvation is from the Jews.”)

RE-CREATIN: (John 6:10-13; “Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” (Now there was a lot of grass in that place.) So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. Then Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed the bread to those who were seated. He then did the same with the fish, as much as they wanted. When they were all satisfied, Jesus said to His disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces that are left over, so that nothing is wasted.” So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves left over by the people who had eaten.”)

Note: “Jesus set things in order.” The Son of God is spirit, not limited by physical laws we consider scientific. Let’s review His credentials again.

(John 1:1-5; “In the beginning was the Word, “Jesus” and the Word was with God, and the Word “Jesus” was fully God. The Word was with God “the Father” in the beginning. All things were created by Him, “Jesus” and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. In Him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.”) To be in darkness is to be an unbeliever. See Hebrews 1: also.

(Colossians 1:15-20; “Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him. He Himself is before all things and all things are held together, ’sustained’ in Him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”) Jesus Has plans for Satan’s demise, for Babylon and Assyria who persecuted His people.

(Isaiah 14:9-26; “Sheol “the pit or place of the dead” below is stirred up about you, “Satan” ready to meet you when you arrive. It rouses the spirits of the dead for you, all the former leaders of the earth; it makes all the former kings of the nations rise from their thrones. All of them respond to you, saying: ‘You too have become weak like us! You have become just like us! Your splendor has been brought down to Sheol, as well as the sound of your stringed instruments. You lie on a bed of maggots, with a blanket of worms over you. (12) Look how you “Satan” have fallen from the sky, O shining one, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, O conqueror of the nations! You said to yourself, “I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El “God” I will set up my throne. I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon “mountain of assembly where the sons of gods, angelic beings met” I will climb up to the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High!” (15) But you, “Satan” were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit. Those who see you stare at you, they look at you carefully, thinking: “Is this the man who shook the earth, the one who made kingdoms tremble? Is this the one who made the world like a desert, who ruined its cities, and refused to free his prisoners so they could return home?”’ (18) As for all the kings of the nations, all of them lie down in splendor, each in his own tomb. But you have been thrown out of your grave, “pit” like a shoot that is thrown away. You lie among the slain, among those who have been slashed by the sword, among those headed for the stones of the pit, as if you were a mangled corpse. You will not be buried with them, because you destroyed your land and killed your people. The offspring of the wicked will never be mentioned again. (21) Prepare to execute his sons for the sins their ancestors have committed. They must not rise up and take possession of the earth, or fill the surface of the world with cities.”

(22-26; “I will rise up against them,” says the Lord who commands armies. “I will blot out all remembrance of Babylon and destroy all her people, including the offspring she produces,” says the Lord. “I will turn her into a place that is overrun with wild animals and covered with pools of stagnant water. I will get rid of her, just as one sweeps away dirt with a broom,” says the Lord who commands armies. The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow: “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen. I will break Assyria in My land, I will trample them underfoot on My hills. Their yoke will be removed from My people, the burden will be lifted from their shoulders. (26) This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; My hand is ready to strike all the nations.” Indeed, the Lord who commands armies has a plan, and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?”) Satan knows God’s plan and his time is short. Consider Jesus’ revelations to John regarding the future.

Rev 12:7-18; “Then war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But the dragon was not strong enough to prevail, so there was no longer any place left in heaven for him and his angels. So that huge dragon – the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world – was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “The salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the ruling authority of His Christ, have now come, because the accuser of our brothers and sisters, the one who accuses them day and night before our God, has been thrown down. (11) But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die. Therefore you heavens rejoice, and all who reside in them! But woe to the earth and the sea because the devil has come down to you!

He is filled with terrible anger, for he knows that he only has a little time!” (13) Now when the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman “Church” who had given birth to the male child. But the woman was given the two wings of a giant eagle so that she could fly out into the wilderness, to the place God prepared for her, where she is taken care of – away from the presence of the serpent – for a time, times, and half a time. Then the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman in an attempt to sweep her away by a flood, but the earth came to her rescue; the ground opened up and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth. So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her children, those who keep God’s commandments and hold to the testimony about Jesus. (18) And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.”)

God allows pagans to demonically influence His people, “for testing and demonstrate our need for His saving grace.” He reveals: “our inherited nature can only be conquered through gifted belief IN Jesus.” He puts us in His church, gives the desire to obey, clothe and immerse our life practices in His Way.
