To: God’s scattered Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus. (11/30/18. God’s 9th month, Kislev 22nd day, 5779, until sunset.)

Holy God our Father and Holy God the Son: please draw each seeker to Yourself and give us persevering minds, that we each may overcome to the end. We thank You for the privilege of asking in the believing IN faith of Jesus. AMEN.

Dr. Luke was also a journalist who observed all that Jesus and His apostles did. A traveling companion with Jesus’ apostle Peter and Paul. Luke wrote or dictated the gospel accounts titled, “Luke” and “Acts of the Apostles.” Luke describes both books as “orderly accounts to a person he names most excellent, “Theophilus.” Luke was a Believer IN Jesus.

(Luke 1:1-4; “Now many have undertaken to compile an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, like the accounts passed on to us by those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the Word from the beginning. (See John 1:1-5) So it seemed good to me as well, “because I have followed all things carefully from the beginningto write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may know for certain the things you were taught.””) We each need to know “the certainty of things we’re taught.” We need to take the apostle Paul’ advice and examine things seriously, “Examine all things; hold fast to what is good. Stay away from every form of evil.” 1 Thess 5:21-22)

(Luke 1:5-7; “During the reign of Herod, “king of Judea” there lived a priest named Zechariah who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah, and he had a wife named Elizabeth, who was a descendant of Aaron. (Aaron and Moses was of the tribe of Levy.) They were righteous in the sight of God, following the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly. (7) Zachariah did not have a child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both very old.”) Remember a characteristic of our Creator is to, “call and choose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong.” Paul understood this and quoted Jeremiah 9:24 for our learning.

(1Cor 1:27-31; “But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, so that no one can boast in His presence. He “God the Father” is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”) Remember God made Abraham and Sarah able to procreate when naturally to old, giving them Isaac. God the father does the calling and places the called in the care of God the Son. (In prayer to His Father, Jesus said, “I have revealed Your name “characteristics -nature- Your Way” to the men You gave Me out of the world. They belonged to you, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed Your Word.” John 17:6) (Study the whole chapter) No one can boast of their spiritual understanding, because it’s revealed to His chosen.

(Luke 1:8-17; “Now while Zechariah was serving as priest before God when his division was on duty, “he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood” to enter the holy place of the Lord and burn incense. Now the whole crowd of people were praying outside at the hour of the incense offering. (11) An angel of the Lord, standing on the right side of the altar of incense, appeared to him. And Zechariah, visibly shaken when he saw the angel, was seized with fear. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son; you will name him John. Joy and gladness will come to you, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even before his birth. He will turn many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. And he will go as forerunner before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for Him.”) As Jesus’ coming in the flesh, “born of a virgin” was preplanned before the foundation of the world “so was John’s purpose!” Who was filled with the Holy Spirit and power to go as a forerunner in the power of Elijah!

(Luke 1:18-20; “Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is old as well.” The angel answered him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. And now, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time, you will be silent, unable to speak, until the day these things take place.”) All things are fulfilled in God’s timing. Zachariah and we should believe IN, without questioning. Is this lesson for you and I also?

(Luke 1:21-23; “Now the people were waiting for Zechariah, and they began to wonder why he was delayed in the holy place. When he came out, he was not able to speak to them. They realized that he had seen a vision in the holy place, because he was making signs to them and remained unable to speak. When his time of service was over, he went to his home.”) Remember, years before ten tribes were dispersed and later the tribe of Judah because of disobedience. King Hezekiah allowed a smattering’s return, restore the temple and Priesthood. Jesus demonstrated respect for the priesthood when He sent healed people to the priest according to the law.

(Luke 1:24-25; “After some time Zachariah’s wife Elizabeth became pregnant, and for five months she kept herself in seclusion. She said, “This is what the Lord has done for me at the time when He has been gracious to me, to take away my disgrace among people.” (In that day it was a traditional attitude, considered disgraceful to be barren.)

(Luke 1:26-35; “In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town of Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary. (28) Gabriel came to her and said, “Greetings, favored one, the Lord is with you!” But Mary was greatly troubled by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. So the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God! Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and you will name Him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will never end.” (34) Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with a man?” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore the child to be born will be holy; He will be called the Son of God.” ) If we had no other prophecy than this by Gabriel, Believers IN would know. (a) Gabriel spoke God’s Words. (b) Mary was chosen. (c) Jesus was miraculously fathered by God the Father. Spiritually Begotten, filled with the Holy Spirit at conception. (d) Jesus’ linage is from David as was prophesied. (e) Jesus is heir to the throne of David. (f) Jesus is to reign over the house of Jacob “Israel” forever. (Spiritual Israelites? See Galatians 3:29.) (g) After the millennia, even after New Jerusalem comes down, “Jesus’ kingdom continues.” It’s gifted knowledge to Believers IN and the kingdom of God revealed. “God adding to His family.”

Gabriel continues. (Luke 1:36-38; “And look, your relative Elizabeth has also become pregnant with a son in her old age – although she was called barren, she is now in her sixth month! For nothing will be impossible with God.” So Mary said, “Yes, I am a servant of the Lord; let this happen to me according to your word.” Then the angel departed from her.”) John was about 6 months older than Jesus.

(Luke 1:39-45; “In those days Mary got up and went hurriedly into the hill country, to a town of Judah, and entered Zechariah’s house and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. (42) She exclaimed with a loud voice, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child in your womb! And who am I that the mother of my Lord should come and visit me? For the instant the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. (45) And blessed is she who believed that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled.”) Seemingly Elizabeth is speaking of herself and Mary, when she spoke, “blessed is she who believed that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled.” (Now, Mary prophesies about things revealed to her.)

(Luke 1:46 -56; And Mary said, “My soul exalts the Lord, and my spirit has begun to rejoice in God my Savior, because He has looked upon the humble state of His servant. For from now on all generations will call me blessed, because He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His name; from generation to generation He is merciful to those who fear Him. (51) He has demonstrated power with His arm; He has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance of their hearts. (52) He has brought down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up those of lowly position; He has filled the “spiritually” hungry with good things, and has sent the rich away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, remembering His mercy, as He promised to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.” So Mary stayed with Elizabeth about three months and then returned to her home.”) John may have been born before Mary left. Consider the gifted understanding and wisdom revealed to Mary. Likely Mary witnessed Zachariah’s miraculous blessing of having his speech restored.

(Luke 1:57-66; “Now the time came for Elizabeth to have her baby, and she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown great mercy to her, and they rejoiced with her. (59) On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they wanted to name him Zechariah after his father. (60) But Elizabeth replied, “No! He must be named John.” They said to her, “But none of your relatives bears this name.” So they made signs to the baby’s father, inquiring what he wanted to name his son. Zachariah asked for a writing tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” And they were all amazed. (64) Immediately Zechariah’s mouth was opened and his tongue released, and he spoke, blessing God. All their neighbors were filled with fear, and throughout the entire hill country of Judea all these things were talked about. All who heard these things kept them in their hearts, saying, “What then will this child be?” For the Lord’s hand was indeed with him.”) Blessed indeed are we, whose minds and being, have these truths imputed; so that our believing IN reflects God in us. Thus we are spiritually compelled not to practice the way God calls sin.

To: God’s Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus. (11/28/18. God’s 9th month, Kislev 20th day, 5779, until sunset.)

Biblical chronology and the Judean calendar agree that Adam’s creation was about 5,780 years ago and today’s science news is reporting that all people came from a single man and woman union but irrational science don’t want to admit that God did the creating. The whole world is purposely anti God, because to admit He is as His Word professes Him to be would demand accountability The facts are, Creator, Re-Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, and Savior Jesus is going to return; then the whole world will ultimately become accountable. This earth was purposely flooded before the re-creation Jesus performed as written in Genesis 1:. Creators God the Father and Jesus “God the Son” lovingly planned to increase their family through “life giver Jesus” as promised in the New Testament. (See Colossians 1:15-20.) Creator Jesus’ prophesied through His apostle Paul about false science and teaching.

Teach them and exhort them about these things. (1Tim 6:3-19; “If someone spreads false teachings and does not agree with sound words (that is, those of our Lord Jesus Christ) and with the teaching that accords with godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in controversies and verbal disputes. This gives rise to envy, dissension, slanders, evil suspicions, (5) and constant bickering by people corrupted in their minds and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a way of making a profit. Now godliness combined with contentment brings great profit. For we have brought nothing into this world and so we cannot take a single thing out either. But if we have food and shelter, we will be satisfied with that.” (Profit is made by people teaching a false science claiming global warming is man made and the doctrine of evolution. One erupting volcanic eruption puts more carbon out than humanity could in a year.)

v9-11; “Those who long to be rich, however, stumble into temptation and a trap and many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. (10) For the love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains. But you, as a person dedicated to God, keep away from all that. Instead pursue righteousness, endurance, godliness, faithfulness, love and gentleness.” v12-15; “Compete well for the faith and lay hold of that eternal life you were called for and made your good confession for in the presence of many witnesses. I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made His good confession before Pontius Pilate, to obey this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time.”

v16-19; “Jesus alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen. (17) Command those who are rich in this world’s goods not to be haughty or to set their hope on riches, which are uncertain, but on God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment. Tell them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers, sharing with others. (19) In this way they will save up a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the future and so lay hold of what is truly life.”

“Through His apostle Peter, Jesus compared the many false denominational leaders to irrational animals who are born to be caught and killed, “these will be destroyed when Jesus returns.” (See 2 Pet 2:12). Jude wrote, “false teachers will be destroyed for mimicking animals.” Shame on today’s cowardly professing Christian clergy, who follow popular tradition, rather than teaching the holy scriptures.”

(Jude 1:11; “Woe to them! For they have traveled down Cain’s path, and because of greed have abandoned themselves to Balaam’s error; hence, they will certainly perish in Korah’s rebellion.”) Cain and Korah reasoned, “Surely God is pleased with me doing, “the way that seems right.” (Jude 1:12-13; “These men are dangerous reefs at your love feasts, feasting without reverence, feeding only themselves. They are waterless clouds, carried along by the winds; autumn trees without fruit – twice dead, uprooted; wild sea waves, spewing out the foam of their shame; wayward stars for whom the utter depths of eternal darkness have been reserved.”) Twice dead? Their fate is already determined, feeding themselves; making merchandise of people and teaching traditionalism!. Jude believes a second death await these clergy types, for feeding only themselves. (See Revelation 2:11, 20:6, 20:14)

(Revelations 21:7-8; “The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My child. But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”) Long before the Noah day flood, Enoch was teaching about Jesus’ second coming.

(Jude 1:14-16; “Now Enoch, the seventh in descent beginning with Adam, even prophesied of them, saying, “Look! The Lord is coming with thousands and thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all, and to convict every person of all their thoroughly ungodly deeds that they have committed, and of all the harsh words that ungodly sinners have spoken against the Lord.” These people are grumblers and fault-finders who go wherever their desires lead them, and they give bombastic speeches, enchanting folks for their own gain.”) Apparently Jude had access to Enoch’s writing. Enoch was Cain’s son. (See Genesis 4:7)

(Jude 1:17-23; “But you, dear friends – recall the predictions foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. For they said to you, “In the end time there will come scoffers, propelled by their own ungodly desires.”

(2 Peter 3:2-3; “I want you to recall both the predictions foretold by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles. Above all, understand this: In the last days blatant scoffers will come, being propelled by their own evil urges and saying, “Where is Jesus’ promised return?) These people are divisive, worldly, devoid of the Spirit. But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit, maintain yourselves in the love of God, while anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that brings eternal life. And have mercy on those who waver; save others by snatching them out of the fire; have mercy on others, coupled with a fear of God, hating even the clothes stained by the flesh.”) Clothes stained by the flesh is spiritual terminology, as “being clothed with Christ and putting on Christ. Many that desire to be Christ like, are stained by fleshly desires; in that fleshly desires overpowers what they know to be true. To be clothed with Christ is to practice ways pleasing to Him.

(Jude 1:24-25; “Now to the One who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand, rejoicing, without blemish before His glorious presence, to the only God our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority, before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen”) Our English dictionary defines Apostate as “renouncing belief or allegiance. According to Luke, John the Baptist announced his allegiance to Jesus, saying, “One more powerful than I am is coming – I am not worthy to untie the strap of His sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in His hand to clean out His threshing floor and to gather the wheat into His storehouse, but the chaff He will burn up with inextinguishable fire.” (Luke 3:15-20) We know John was imprisoned and beheaded for telling Herod and Herodias, “Herod’s brother’s wife” they were wrong to be living together and the evil deeds Herod had done.

John prophesied that through Jesus, the holy spirit would immerse “baptize” some and others with fire. The world is “Jesus’ threshing floor.” Wheat represents Jesus’ followers and the chaff, unbelievers who will be burned up, “die a second death” unless they turn to God. Organized religions that call themselves Christian renounced Jesus, when they introduced pagan customs to God’s church; when they taught, “God allowed a weekly Sabbath change, when they forsook His annual Sabbaths that foreshadow His plan for our saving.” In Jesus millennial reign His weekly and annual Sabbaths will be acknowledged. (Study Zechariah 14:)

Jesus’ good news began when He commanded Adam and Eve, not to eat fruit from a particular tree less they die, “how to avoid eternal death.” Their disobedience caused their descendents to inherit a sin nature, which must be turned from through Jesus’ faith, to inherit immortality. A proper sacrifice that looked to Jesus’ shed blood for the remission of sin was commanded. To unbelievers Jesus said; (Matt 23:34-36; “For this reason I am sending you prophets and wise men and experts in the law, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town, (35) so that on you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. I tell you the truth, this generation will be held responsible for all these things!”) Speaking to Believers through Paul, Jesus references our prayers, liking them to the Israelites during their deliverance.

(Heb 12:22-29; “But you ’Believers’ have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly and congregation of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect, and to Jesus, the Mediator of a New Covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.” Abel’s shed blood cried out to the Lord for justice and judgment, but Jesus’ blood speaks of redemption and forgiveness, something better than Abel’s does (Gen 4:10; Heb 9:11-14; 11:4).

v25-29; Take care not to refuse the One who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the One who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the One who warns from heaven? (26) Then His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.” (Quote from Haggai 2:6.) Jesus is the Son used by the Father to enact a New Covenant which established a new relationship between God the Father and His people, entirely on God’ the Father’s terms.

v 27-29 “Now this phrase “once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain. So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe. For our God is indeed a devouring fire.” (Quote from Deut 4:24; & 9:3.)

The Gospel, chapter 30

Monday, November 26th, 2018

To: God’s Elect: grace and peace from God ourr Father and our Lord Jesus. (11/26/18. God’s 9th month, 18th day, 5779, until sunset.)

Doctor Luke witnessed Jesus’ life and much of what His apostles did. He wrote the, “gospel of Luke” and “Acts of the Apostles.” Both are addressed to “Theophilus” a person asking sincere questions about Jesus and The Kingdom of God.

(Acts 1:1-5; “I “Luke” wrote the former account, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do and teach until the day He was taken up to heaven, after He had given orders by the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen. To the same apostles also, after His suffering, He presented Himself alive with many convincing proofs. He was seen by them over a forty-day period and spoke about matters concerning the kingdom of God. While He was with them, He declared, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait there for what My Father promised, which you heard about from Me. For John baptized with water, but you will be baptized ‘immersed’ with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”)

Regarding the Kingdom of God‘s coming. (Acts 1:7-11; “Jesus told them, “You are not permitted to know the times or periods that the Father has set by His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth.” After Jesus had said this, while they were watching, He was lifted up and a cloud hid Him from their sight. As they were still staring into the sky while He was going, suddenly two men in white clothing stood near them and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking up into the sky? This same Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way you saw Him go into heaven.”) Pentecost is always on the second day of the week. (The day the pagan Roman calendar calls Monday)

(Acts 2:1-4; “Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a violent wind blowing came from heaven and filled the entire house where they were sitting. And tongues spreading out like a fire appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began speaking in other languages as the Spirit enabled them.”) Jesus explained the characteristics of the Holy Spirit’s entrance and making people at one with Himself ‘born again’ to Nicodemus.

John 3:7-8;” Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (Jesus’ good news demonstrates that God the Father preplanned Jesus’ return with power to assume His position on earth as King of Kings. Preplanned why God will cut time short “for the Elect‘s sake.” May we be led to pray that our kingdom soon come.

Though Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, new beginnings were always planned. (The Noah day flood was a new beginning as was the principle of revelations, faith, promises and predestined. Abraham’s position, heirs and Isaac’ birth was by promise, born when Abraham and Sarah were past reproductive age. “Jacob’s birth, calling, promises, name change, descendents enslavement, deliverance through Moses, the covenant, forty years of total care, Joshua’s calling, miraculous Jordan river crossing, another Passover season celebration, total care and manna’s cease, promised lands obtained, Israel’s greatness by grace, their disobedience and scattering, a smattering restored to Judea under Roman authority, the promised Messiah Savior ‘Jesus’’ birth, a new spiritual covenant with the promise of eternal life to Believers IN Jesus, “a spiritually called out people making them at one with Jesus, becoming spiritual Israelites and Abraham’s heirs.”

Another new beginning will be Jesus’ second coming, the Elect’s resurrection to serve with Jesus, Satan bound, peace and righteous judgment, another miraculous deliverance of Israel back to the promised lands, all people calling on the name of the Lord being saved, Satan’s release, a final judgment and New Jerusalem’s coming down with God the Father.

(Joel (3:1) After all of this I will pour out My Spirit on all kinds of people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your elderly will have revelatory dreams; your young men will see prophetic visions. (2:29-32; Even on male and female servants I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will produce portents both in the sky and on the earth – blood, fire, and columns of smoke. The sunlight will be turned to darkness and the moon to the color of blood, before the day of the Lord comes – that great and terrible day! It will so happen that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered. For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who survive, just as the Lord has promised; the remnant will be those whom the Lord will call.”) Always study the whole.

It’s been promised to Abraham, God the Father’s predestined people being fathered - “born again from above.” Called people overcoming to the end, being gifted with His nature and made literal children through God the Son, “Jesus.” The very same “Jesus” shared with Moses in Joshua’s presence; that He knew how the Israelites would prostitute themselves to other gods and turn from Him. Likewise He foreknew the apostate that would develop during Jesus’ apostle’s lifetime and continue until His second coming. (See Deut 31:16-23,)

James and Jude were Joseph and Mary’s sons and Jesus’ half brothers, they each became devout followers of Jesus, after His resurrection. They each probably wrote much more than what’s recorded. Jude particularly was compelled to write about the apostate he was witnessing taking place, “an apostate likened to Israel’s prostituting themselves.” As the old covenant was written to Israelites, the New Testament is written to God’s Church, “spiritual Israelites” not the world at large! Take note of who Jude’s letter is addressed to. (Jude 1:1-2; “From Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called, wrapped in the love of God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ. May mercy, peace, and love be lavished on you!” (If we’re followers of Jesus, we’ve been called by God the Father, our minds are opened to understand the scriptures and kept for Jesus. This is the common salvation, the way God adds to His family, “His Church.”)

(Jude 1:3-4; “Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you about our common salvation, I now feel compelled instead to write to encourage you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the Saints.”) Faith entrusted to Jesus’ followers is likened to Abraham’s faith. “God the Father’s fathering” as gifted on and after that first Pentecost after Jesus‘ ascension. (Jude 1:4; “For certain men have secretly slipped in among you – men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe – ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”) Remember Jesus’ identity is revealed at John 1:1-5. Colossians 1:15-20 & Hebrews 1:. God foreknew these marked out deceivers, for their condemnation. It was evil of these people, to turn people back to the idea of law keeping for salvation and to prostitute themselves to paganism, rather than believing IN ‘obeying’ Jesus for their saving. Evil of them to introduce pagan practices with a mix of Judaism, “calling it God’s righteous ways. These Satan inspired deceptions, through fleshly minded unbelievers, pretty much sum up the apostate that invaded God’s Church. An invasion that’s still apparent and will be until Jesus’ return.

(Jude 1:5-6; “Now I desire to remind you (even though you have been fully informed of these facts once for all) that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, later destroyed those who did not believe.”) Jude knew his half brother, “Jesus” was the Son of God and that it was He who delivered the Israelites from Egyptian bondage. (Jude understood the comparison of Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, to our, “we spiritual Israelites’ calling, deliverance and separation from this world’s system of things.”) If only professing Christianity believed IN and taught this fact; “imagine the togetherness and peace that would flow from that knowledge.
(Jude 1:6; “You also know that the angels who did not keep within their proper domain but abandoned their own place of residence, Jesus has kept in eternal chains in utter darkness, locked up for the judgment of the great Day.”) When we consider Jesus’ prophetic revelations to John about Satan, we know Jesus will keep these demonic angels in eternal chains, utter darkness, locked up for the judgment of that great future Day, “when Jesus returns.” This prophecy is so absolute, it’s spoken in the past tense. “When Jesus comes Satan and his demons will be bound until a preplanned release date, “to go out and deceive, particularly Gog & Magog.” (See Ezekiel 38:2)

Rev. 20:7-10; “Now when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to bring them together for the battle. They are as numerous as the grains of sand in the sea. They went up on the broad plain of the earth and encircled the camp of the Saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and devoured them completely. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever and ever.”)

(Jude 1:7; “So also Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns, since they indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire in a way similar to these angels, are now displayed as an example by suffering the punishment of eternal fire.”) God foreknew what happened at Sodom & Gomorrah and these things are recorded, “preserved for our learning.” Today’s current Pope says that he can’t judge homosexual priests. He is so out of step with Jesus’ apostle Paul. (See 1 Corinthians 6 :)

(Jude 1:8-10; “Yet these men, “of Sodom & Gomorrah” as a result of their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and insult the glorious Ones. But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!” But these men do not understand the things they slander, and they are being destroyed by the very things that, like irrational animals, they instinctively comprehend.”)

(1Peter 2:12; “Like irrational animals, these false teachers do grasp one thing, “their instinctive behavior is like animals in heat.” (Peter notes that “Though they claim to be guided by special spiritual insight gained in heavenly revelations, they are in fact following the sexual instincts which they share with animals.”) Such aren’t believers IN Jesus but believers in tradition, Baal etc.

To: God’s Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus. (11/23/18. God’s 9th month, 15th day, 5779, until sunset.)

Many saw a full moon today, look again the next two nights, you can hardly see a difference. It’s God’s calendar in motion.

God’s Elect aren’t a boastful people, rather humbled to have been called and have our minds opened to understand the holy scriptures. The Father calls, reveals Himself through Jesus and Jesus reveals Himself through His apostle Paul. (See Colossians 1:15-20) and study (1Cor 1:26-31; “Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, (29) so that no one can boast in His presence. He ’God the Father’ is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”) We can’t lead an individual to Christ. We can only share Jesus’ introduction of Himself personally and through His apostles. Repentance comes when God the Father reveals Jesus and that He loved us before we loved Him.

When we’re tempted, follow Jesus’ example, “leave me alone, get behind me Satan.” We should know the world is under the law. The whole world needs a guardian, “the law.” Followers of Jesus too, need the law because the law identifies sin. Only recipients of God’s spirit aren’t under the law and that because He gracefully put a love of His magnified law in our minds. That magnified law! Example: (Matt 5:27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to desire her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matt 5:31 “It was said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife must give her a legal document.’ But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.”) When fathered by God, “a love of Him and His spiritual law is imputed to our being. Jesus taught it through the prophets and apostles.

(Rom 3:19-23; Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be held accountable to God. (20) For no one is declared righteous before Him by the works of the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. (21) But now apart from the law the righteousness of God (which is attested by the law and the prophets) has been disclosed – namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction, (23) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”) God’s penalty for “lawlessness” in His view “sin” is death and the only way to avoid that penalty is through revealed belief IN Jesus’ shed blood for the remission of sin.

(Rom 3:24-26; But they ’we’ are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. God ‘the Father’ publicly displayed Him ‘God the Son’ at His death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because God ‘the Son’ in His forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed. (26) This was also to demonstrate His righteousness in the present time, so that He would be just and the Justifier of the one who lives because of Jesus’ faithfulness.”) The old tabernacle mercy seat looked forward to Jesus as the sacrificial Lamb of God, shedding His blood so believer’s sins could be remitted.

(Rom 3:27-31; “Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded! By what principle? Of works? No, but by the principle of faith! For we consider that a person is declared righteous by faith apart from the works of the law. (29) Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is He not the God of the Gentiles too? Yes, of the Gentiles too! Since God is One, He will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. (31) Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not! Instead we uphold the law.”)

Back to that Passover Jesus died on and His faith.

(Matt 26:36-46; “Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and He said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” He took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and became anguished and distressed. (38) Then He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with Me.” Going a little farther, He threw Himself down with His face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from Me! Yet not what I will, but what you will.” (40) Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “So, couldn’t you stay awake with Me for one hour? Stay awake and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (42) He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will must be done.” (43) He came again and found them sleeping; they could not keep their eyes open. So leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more. Then He came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is approaching, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. (46) Get up, let us go. Look! My betrayer is approaching!”)

Not only is the ‘good news’ about Creator, Re-Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Mediator and coming king of kings “Jesus” offering Himself as the Lamb of God for the remission of sin, “He passes over sin, shedding His life’s blood for it‘s remission.” Think of Jesus’ love. He fervently took His cause before God the Father three times

God the Father’s calling is a new covenant with a predestined people He mercifully calls and saves by promise and grace through God the Son’s blood sacrifice. (By grace we’re save, not of works but by Jesus’ faith..) (Jesus and His apostles taught that no one could be saved by works of the law, “all are born in sin and that death penalty must be paid.” So the Creator of life through whom is life “wills - testaments and covenants” by His life “that we may have eternal life through Him.” Thus, “giving His life for the remission of sin.” Forgiving sin by grace. (Shedding His life blood so the penalty for sin could be passed over.)

Looking back, “the Israelite’s Passover season deliverance from Egypt, their crossing the Jordan on like dates and Jesus allowing Himself to be hemmed in Jerusalem on the tenth through fourteenth is significance proof of our need for God’s calendar.”

(Joshua 5:10-12; “So the Israelites camped in Gilgal and celebrated the Passover in the evening of the fourteenth day of the month on the plains of Jericho. They ate some of the produce of the land the day after the Passover, “that day after is the first annual Sabbath, beginning the feast of Unleavened Bread.” including unleavened bread and roasted grain. The manna stopped appearing the day they ate some of the produce of the land; the Israelites never ate manna again.”)

Remember, in Egypt, on the 10th day of the first month, God had the Israelites put up a lamb or goat to be consumed on the 14th in haste. God had Joshua and the Israelites cross the Jordan on the 10th day of the first month and rejoiced on the 14th. Jesus entered Jerusalem on the 10th day of the first month, riding a donkey and preparing for His Passover sacrifice. The people shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

In Egypt Moses had the Israelites put a blood sacrifice on their door facing on the 14th day of the first month. Sacrificial Blood representing Jesus shed blood protected from the death angel and looking forward to Jesus’ blood sacrificial blood saving Believers IN. In Egypt (representing sin) they ate the sacrifice with unleavened bread as commanded and were protected while the first born of all Egypt was killed. The Israelites were thrust out with their belonging and gifts from the Egyptians.

Today’s worldly professing Christians are products of the apostate Jude wrote about. They worship according to what seems right, yielding to their inherited from Adam fleshly nature. Likely most of Jesus’ apostles were still living when Jude exposed the pagan way mix with their teaching. We see that result all around us. God turns His back on such worship. Truth will prevail when Jesus returns and Satan bound, then the whole world will look to God’s calendar.

(Lev 23:4-8; “‘These are the Lord’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you ’Israelites’ must proclaim at their appointed time. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, is a Passover offering to the Lord. Then on the fifteenth day of the same month will be the Festival of Unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day the 15th” there will be a holy assembly for you; you ‘spiritual Israelites’ must not do any regular work. You must present a gift to the Lord for seven days, and the seventh day “the 21stis a holy assembly; you ‘spiritual Israelites’ must not do any regular work.’”) Jesus was put in the tomb before the 15th day annual Sabbath’s beginning and was resurrected three days later. The 21st day is the second annual Sabbath. All these things were preplanned to the very day, long before God made promises to Abraham. The fourth annual Sabbath is 50 days from the wave sheaf mid week Sabbath.

On the day after the Sabbath that falls during the feast of Unleavened bread, the priest waved the sheaf before the Lord to be accepted for our benefit – on the day after the Sabbath the priest waved it. (on the first day of the week) 50 days from that first day after the weekly Sabbath during is “the Festival of Weeks” is Pentecost. (meaning, to count 50) Pentecost is the birthday of “The New Covenant Church of God.” (Lev 23:21; ‘On this very day you must proclaim an assembly; it is to be a holy assembly for you. You must not do any regular work. This is a perpetual statute in all the places where you live throughout your generations.”

To: God’s Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus’ (11/22/18. God’s 9th month, 14th day, 5779, until sunset.)

God’s covenant with Israel “particularly the Sabbath” through Moses required disbandment or death for breaking it. They were required to prepare for the Sabbath by gathering Manna on the sixth day. God’s original Covenant with Israel through Moses was all inclusive, “included governing authority, regulations, oracles, provision and worship. Total care, such as Manna, meat, water and not allowing their shoes to wear out, ceased when they across the Jordan. (Israelites weren’t allowed to go the way that seemed right to themselves.) After Moses and crossing the Jordan to the promised lands “they were allowed to go the way that seemed right to themselves with promised blessings for obedience.” Their covenant regulations became less strict. That’s clear when we note the different covenant wording in Exodus and Leviticus. Manna ceased after crossing the Jordan, “blessings now included obedient work on their part, cultivating and eating food the land produced.” Now they could “go the way that seemed right to themselves and be blessed according to their obedience.” Stringent governing regulations, oracle and worship mix ceased to be one and the same. After some time they began learning the ways of their pagan neighbor nations. Some individual gentiles learned to look to the God of Israel.

Since Jesus came and died for the remission of sin, He spiritually covenants with called believers IN. Those God the Father calls and gives Him are heirs with Abraham, spiritual Israelites sharing perpetual covenant promises with blood line Israelite’s. Another, “more grand” deliverance of Israel to the promised lands are promised. See Isaiah 22:,35: ,51:,53:, and 65:. Amos 9:11-15 and Jeremiah 31:. Sin is still what’s lawless in God’s view. The called are spiritually led to turn from the nature inherited from Adam, the influences of Satan and to Jesus. To be clothed and immersed in Jesus while ceasing the practice of sin. Allow Jesus’ beloved apostle John’s teaching.

(1John 3:1-6; (See what sort of love the Father has given to us: that we should be called God’s children – and indeed we are! For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him. Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope focused on Him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure). (4) Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; indeed, sin is lawlessness. And you know that Jesus was revealed to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin. Everyone who resides in him does not ‘practice’ sin; everyone who sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.”) Our hope focused on the Son of God purifies us. Sin isn’t different depending on our belief, NO sin is what’s lawless in God view.

(1 John 3:7-12; Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Jesus is righteous. The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed ‘to us‘: to destroy the works of the devil. (9) Everyone who has been fathered by God does not practice sin, because God’s seed resides in him, and thus he is not able to ‘practice’ sin, because he has been fathered by God. (10) By this the children of God and the children of the devil are revealed: Everyone who does not practice righteousness – the one who does not love his fellow Christian – is not of God. (11) For this is the gospel message that you have heard from the beginning: that we should love one another, not like Cain who was of the evil one and brutally murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his deeds were evil, but his brother’s were righteous.”

(1John 3:13-17;Therefore do not be surprised, brothers and sisters, if the world hates you. We know that we have crossed over from death to life because we love our fellow Christians. The one who does not love remains in death. Everyone who hates his fellow Christian is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him. (16) We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down His life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians. But whoever has the world’s possessions and sees his fellow Christian in need and shuts off his compassion against him, how can the love of God reside in such a person?”

(1John 3:18-24; “Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth. And by this we will know that we are of the truth and will convince our conscience in His presence, that if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience and knows all things. (21) Dear friends, if our conscience does not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God, and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing to Him. (23) Now this is His commandment: that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as He gave us the commandment. (24) And the person who keeps His commandments resides in God, and God in him. Now by this we know that God resides in us: by the Spirit He has given us.”) Study first, second and third John with the Gospel of John, being careful to watch for translation error.

(1John 2:18- “Children, it is the last hour, and just as you heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. We know from this that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us, because if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. But they went out from us to demonstrate that all of them do not belong to us. Nevertheless you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. I have not written to you that you do not know the truth, but that you do know it, and that no lie is of the truth. (22) Who is the liar but the person who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the antichrist: the person who denies the Father and the Son. Everyone who denies the Son does not have the Father either. The person who confesses the Son has the Father also. (24) As for you, what you have heard from the beginning must remain in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. Now this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life. These things I have written to you about those who are trying to deceive you. (27) Now as for you, the anointing that you received from Him resides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as it has taught you, you reside in Him.”

Children of God

(1John 2:28; “And now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame when He comes back. If you know that He is righteous, you also know that everyone who practices righteousness has been fathered by Him.

By the time Son of God “Jesus” came in the flesh most countries and people groups had developed calendars of their choosing, from their imagination, attempting to honor leaders and imaginary gods. When Jesus came in the flesh, ten tribes were scattered and Roman authorities had allowed a Jewish smattering to return to Judea. To this day God’s calendar and oracles are entrusted to the tribe of Judea, “it was and is still a uniting document for God’s people.” Jesus inspired His apostle Paul to write, giving us to understand the continuous need for God’s calendar’s prevailing.

(Rom 3:1-8; “Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. (3) What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: “so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.” (5) But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? (I am speaking in human terms.) Absolutely not! For otherwise how could God judge the world? For if by my lie the truth of God enhances His glory, why am I still actually being judged as a sinner? And why not say, “Let us do evil so that good may come of it”? – as some who slander us allege that we say. (Their condemnation is deserved!) (A reason Israelites are hated by a hostile world and the world condemned is because, “the tribe of Judea is entrusted with the oracles of the true God.”)

(Rom 3:9-18; What then? Are we better off? Certainly not, for we have already charged that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin, (10) just as it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one, there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not even one. (13) “Their throats are open graves, they deceive with their tongues, the poison of asps is under their lips.” “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood, ruin and misery are in their paths, (17) and the way of peace they have not known. (18) “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”) (Also see Rom 1:28)

(Colossians 1:9-14; “For this reason we ’apostles’ also, from the day we heard about you, have not ceased praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may live worthily of the Lord and please him in all respects – bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the Saints’ inheritance in the light. (13) He ‘God the Father’ delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”) So what prevents the many? Speaking with and about Satan, Jesus used phrases such as, “What have I to do with you? What have we in common? Leave me alone! Hostility between Jesus, we followers and demons is certainly to be understood in this context, hence the translation: “Leave us alone….”

To: Churches of God, His Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus’ (11/18/18. God’s 9th month, 10th day, 5779, until sunset.)

Jesus’ apostles were expecting the Messiah and thought He was about the business of setting up His kingdom when they were being called. Jesus first sent His disciples to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Commanding they go not to others. It wasn’t until after His ascension that the time of the gentiles began with His calling Cornelius and family. (See Acts 10:) Review Peter’s vision, his trip to Cornelius’ home, that result and the Jerusalem church’s discussions about gentiles. Weekly and annual Sabbath keeping had been a prerequisite for Israelites since their deliverance from Egypt. Passover particularly because of their miraculous saving. A small divided number, “Sadducees and Pharisees” were allowed back in Judea under Roman authority.

Passover and Unleavened Bread season represents being saved by grace, looks forward and back to the Son of God’s blood sacrifice for the remission of sin, and the work of overcoming to the end. Forgiveness of sin relates to entrance into God’s Kingdom. After God’s chosen people were delivered by promise from sin, “Egypt” special talents were given to chosen people and set aside times for worship were given particular attention. (God filled Bezailel with His spirit gave him skill, understanding, knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship. To do artistic design with gold, silver, bronze, cutting - setting of stone and wood. (Speaking to Moses God said.)

(Exodus 31:6-11; Moreover, I have also given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and I have given ability to all the specially skilled, that they may make everything I have commanded you: the tent of meeting, the ark of the testimony, the atonement lid that is on it, all the furnishings of the tent, the table with its utensils, the pure lampstand with all its utensils, the altar of incense, the altar for the burnt offering with all its utensils, the large basin with its base, the woven garments, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons, to minister as priests, the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the Holy Place. They will make all these things just as I have commanded you.”)

(Exodus 31:12-17; The Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘Surely you must keep My Sabbaths, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. So you must keep the Sabbath, for it is holy for you. Everyone who defiles it must surely be put to death; indeed, if anyone does any work on it, then that person will be cut off from among his people. (15) Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; anyone who does work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death. The Israelites must keep the Sabbath by observing the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and earth.”) (Sabbath keeping is a sign between God and those to whom He reveals Himself.) Only the called by promise were saved from Egypt “Egypt representing sin.” Israelites were chosen by promise to Abraham and Jesus delivered through Moses and Aaron, “a people God revealed Himself to at the time.”

God’s revealing Himself, calling Noah and saving his family from the flood was a miraculous new beginning. Same His revealing and individually calling Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. Joseph, Moses and Aaron, “by grace God revealed Himself to each “and their saving was by grace and promise.” Each looked to God’s revelations and grace for their saving. Each individually mindful of a need to separate from the world. But to lead a nation ‘even a chosen nation’ whose nature was that inherited from Adam, “a guardian was needed.” Laws and regulations for the good of all to whom Jesus is and isn’t revealed.

Jesus revealed the spiritual component of sin relating to yeast and the Feast of Unleavened Bread and Paul shared; (1Cor 5:6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough. Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch of dough – you ‘followers of Jesus’ are, in fact, without yeast. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. (8) So then, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of vice and evil, but with the bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.”)

(Leviticus 23:4- “‘These are the Lord’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you must proclaim at their appointed time. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, is a Passover offering to the Lord. Then on the fifteenth day of the same month will be the Festival of Unleavened bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. (7) On the first day ’’the fifteenth’ there will be a holy assembly for you; you must not do any regular work. You must present a gift to the Lord for seven days, and the seventh day ’’the twenty second’ is a holy assembly; you must not do any regular work.” (The Passover season is in God’s first month the fourteenth day at twilight through the twenty-second. The season is holy to God the Father, God the Son and all Believers IN. ) It’s perpetual.

At Matthew 25: Jesus gives two separate parables about His kingdom. The first is about ten virgins’ use of oil, some didn’t prepare properly is His point. The second is about talents, likewise their use should be wisely. People using wisely were awarded talents of those who didn’t. Next Jesus relates judgment to our loving others as ourselves, “doing for others as we’d have them do for us” finishing with these words: ‘I tell you the truth, just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me’ And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”)

(Matt 26:1-5; “When Jesus had finished saying all these things, He told His disciples, “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.” Then the chief priests and the elders of the people met together in the palace of the high priest, who was named Caiaphas. They planned to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill Him. But they said, “Not during the feast, so that there won’t be a riot among the people.”)

Matt 26:17-25 “Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread ‘season’ the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Where do you want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?” He said, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is near. I will observe the Passover with My disciples at your house.”’” So the disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover. (20) When it was evening, He took His place at the table with the twelve. And while they were eating He said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray Me.” They became greatly distressed and each one began to say to Him, “Surely not I, Lord?” He answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with Me will betray Me. The Son of Man will go as it is written about Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for him if he had never been born.” Then Judas, the one who would betray Him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?” Jesus replied, “You have said it yourself.”)

A New Covenant ordinance. (Matt 26:26-30; While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after giving thanks He broke it, gave it to his disciples, and said, “Take, eat, this is My body.” And after taking the cup and giving thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is My blood, the blood of the covenant, that is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (29) I tell you, from now on I will not drink of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.”) (Note that Jesus identifies the blood of the covenant drink as “fruit of the vine” not His actual blood but representative of.)

(Matt 26:31-35; Then Jesus said to them, “This night you will all fall away because of Me, for it is written: ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ (Quote from Zach 13:7) (32) But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” Peter said to Him, “If they all fall away because of You, I will never fall away!” Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, on this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” (35) Peter said to Him, “Even if I must die with You, I will never deny you.” And all the disciples said the same thing.”)

Continue to read how Peter was challenged three times and denied. A point to digest is that Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows the intent of the heart. Another point to digest is Paul‘s understanding about where our desire comes from, “(Phil 2:12-13; “So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, (13) for the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of His good pleasure – is God.”

Times and seasons holy to God and His people are perpetual, we’ll observe them through out His millennial reign and together with God the Father after New Jerusalem comes down. The significance of God’s calendar can’t be overlooked.

The Gospel, chapter 26

Wednesday, November 14th, 2018

To: Churches of God, His Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus’ (11/14/18. God’s 9th month, 6th day, 5779, until sunset.)

Don’t doubt, our Creator and Sustainer is the Lord God of Israel, “Jesus our Savior.” He began leaving evidence all about as He communed with Adam, Eve, Abel, Cain and Enoch. Enoch may have been the first called to prophecy about this latter age and Jesus’ second coming, referring to deceived people as waterless clouds, twice dead, spewing out foam of their sham, people reserved for the depth of eternal darkness. Saying, (“The Lord is coming with thousands and thousands of His Holy Ones, to execute judgment on all, and to convict every person of all their thoroughly ungodly deeds they have committed, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” These people are grumblers and fault-finders who go wherever their desires lead them, and they give bombastic speeches, enchanting folks for their own gain.” (See Jude)

The gospel message revolves around Jesus Passing over sins, He is “our Passover - The Lamb of God who kept and died on Passover, for remission of the world’s sins. (A deliverance is a rescue, “a type of saving by promise.) (Rescue and Deliverance is the same in our English language.) The first Passover on record seems to be when Jesus had Moses prepare Israel for deliverance from Egypt as per His promise to Abraham. Sacrificing a lamb on the tenth day of the first month for consumption looked forward to our consuming - putting on Jesus. The Israelites were instructed to put up a lamb or goat according to family size, eat it in haste on the evening of Passover, ’the fourteenth’ “with sandals on feet ready for departure.” Blood from the sacrifice was to be put on door facings so the death angel would Passover. Before their departure the Lord God Jesus had the death angel take all the first born of Egypt. As promised Abraham the Egyptians gave them wealth and hurried them out.

When they got to the sea Moses instructed the priest to step in the water carrying the Ark of the Covenant out front. Israelites crossed the red sea on dry ground. When they were across, the Egyptians changed their minds and followed, “they were all killed.” This was a new promised beginning for God’s chosen people. It looked forward to when others would be gifted to believe IN, be called and chosen by promise. Both spiritual and physical Israelites “as God’s chosen people” are to keep The Passover perpetually.

Before Israel went into the promised lands the Lord God Jesus prophesied through Moses, telling how His people would prostitute themselves to other gods when they became prosperous, their punishment and another deliverance. (See Deuteronomy 18: and now read Jesus’ prophecy through Peter on the same subject.)

Acts 3:19- “Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that He may send ‘back’ the Messiah appointed for you – that is, Jesus. (21) This One heaven must receive until the time all things are restored, which God declared from times long ago through His holy prophets. (22) Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must obey Him in everything He tells you. Every person who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed from the people.’ And all the prophets, from Samuel and those who followed him, have spoken about and announced these days. (25 You “Believers” are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.’(26) God raised up His servant and sent Him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities.”) (This is one of many instances of Jesus’ apostles quoting Moses. Review Deut 18:)

The next recorded Passover miracle is the Lord God Jesus having Joshua lead the Israelites across the Jordan river to the promised lands. These lands were given to the Israelites when these gentile nation’s sins, reached their limits as promised Abraham. (Joshua 1:1-3; “After Moses, “the Lord’s servant died” the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, “Moses’ assistant” “Moses My servant is dead. Get ready! Cross the Jordan River! Lead these people into the land which I am ready to hand over to them. I am handing over to you every place you set foot, as I promised Moses.) Joshua sent out spies who stopped at Rahab the prostitute’s place. She shared that the whole land was fearful of the Israelites, because they had heard how their God had blessed them. (Joshua 2:10-15; Rahab said; “For we heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea when you left Egypt and how you annihilated the two Amorite kings, Sihon and Og, on the other side of the Jordan. When we heard the news we lost our courage and no one could even breathe for fear of you. For the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on earth below! So now, promise me this with an oath sworn in the Lord’s name. Because I have shown allegiance to you, show allegiance to my family. Give me a solemn pledge that you will spare the lives of my father, mother, brothers, sisters, all who belong to them, and rescue us from death.” The men said to her, “If you die, may we die too! If you do not report what we’ve been up to, then, when the Lord hands the land over to us, we will show unswerving allegiance to you.” Then Rahab let them down by a rope through the window. (Her house was built as part of the city wall; she lived in the wall.) (Paul mentions Rahab’s faith in Hebrews 11:) When the spies returned, they reported to Joshua, “All who live in the land are cringing before us!”

(Joshua 1:4-9; “Your territory will extend from the wilderness in the south to Lebanon in the north. It will extend all the way to the great River Euphrates in the east (including all of Syria) and all the way to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. No one will be able to resist you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not abandon you or leave you alone. (6) Be strong and brave! You must lead these people in the conquest of this land that I solemnly promised their ancestors I would hand over to them. (These are boundaries promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ’Israel’ they will occupy after Jesus returns.) Make sure you are very strong and brave Carefully obey all the law My servant Moses charged you to keep! Do not swerve from it to the right or to the left, so that you may be successful in all you do. This law scroll must not leave your lips! You must memorize it day and night so you can carefully obey all that is written in it. Then you will prosper and be successful. I repeat, be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic, for I, the Lord your God, am with you in all you do.”

(Joshua 3:5-17; “Joshua told the people, “Ritually consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will perform miraculous deeds among you.” Joshua told the priests, “Pick up the ark of the covenant and pass on ahead of the people.” So they picked up the ark of the covenant and went ahead of the people. (7) The Lord told Joshua, “This very day I will begin to honor you before all Israel so they will know that I am with you just as I was with Moses. Instruct the priests carrying the ark of the covenant, ‘When you reach the bank of the Jordan River, wade into the water.’” (9) Joshua told the Israelites, “Come here and listen to the words of the Lord your God!” Joshua continued, “This is how you will know the living God is among you and that He will truly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites, and Jebusites. (See Gen 15:16) Look! The ark of the covenant of the Ruler of the whole earth is ready to enter the Jordan ahead of you. Now select for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one per tribe. When the feet of the priests carrying the ark of the Lord, the Ruler of the whole earth, touch the water of the Jordan, the water coming downstream toward you will stop flowing and pile up.” So when the people left their tents to cross the Jordan, the priests carrying the ark of the covenant went ahead of them. When the ones carrying the ark reached the Jordan and the feet of the priests carrying the ark touched the surface of the water – (the Jordan is at flood stage all during harvest time) the water coming downstream toward them stopped flowing. It piled up far upstream at Adam (the city near Zarethan); there was no water at all flowing to the sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea). The people crossed the river opposite Jericho. (17) The priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firmly on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan. All Israel crossed over on dry ground until the entire nation was on the other side.)

Joshua 4:15-18; “The Lord told Joshua, “Instruct the priests carrying the ark of the covenantal laws to come up from the Jordan.” So Joshua instructed the priests, “Come up from the Jordan!” The priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord came up from the middle of the Jordan, and as soon as they set foot on dry land, the water of the Jordan flowed again and returned to flood stage.”) NOTE God’s timing: it was the tenth day of His first month, as was Jesus’ ride into Jerusalem on a donkey. “on the fourteenth Jesus celebrated the Passover and allowed Himself to be crucified so our sins could be remitted. (Timing has and will always be important to our all knowing, preplanning God.)

(Joshua 4:19-24; “The people went up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month and camped in Gilgal on the eastern border of Jericho. Now Joshua set up in Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken from the Jordan. He told the Israelites, “When your children someday ask their fathers, ‘What do these stones represent?’ explain to your children, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan River on dry ground.’ For the Lord your God dried up the water of the Jordan before you while you crossed over. It was just like when the Lord your God dried up the Red Sea before us while we crossed it. He has done this so all the nations of the earth might recognize the Lord’s power and so you might always obey the Lord your God.”) Of all the people who had been in Egypt, only Joshua and Caleb were allowed to cross over. The young men had not been circumcised, so God had Joshua circumcise them. They were healed by the fourteenth day. How significant!

The same Lord God Jesus that dried up the red sea and the Jordan river had always planned His fleshly birth, experience life in the flesh, allow His own blood to be shed for the remission of sin, be our Mediator before the Father and return as king of kings and Lord of Lords.

To: Churches of God, His Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus’  11/12/18. (9th month, 4th day, 5779, until sunset.)

God’s plan to make people spiritually at one with Himself is perpetual. His kingdom is spiritual and He has perpetually looked forward to people being born again, “born from above” changed to spirit beings. Fleshly people only think in terms of physical, “what seems right fleshly.” Purposely created vulnerable to the flesh in various degrees, concerned for what’s pleasurable, what feels right and profitable short term, but God’s commands, ways, promises and plans are perpetual. Fleshly people naturally think like Cain, who thought, “surely God will be pleased with what seems right to me” “my sacrifice should be sufficient.” Only a few saw fit to yield to God’s loving way before the Noah day flood. So, God made a new beginning through righteous Noah, “always looking forward to when His own sacrifice would make the only way for sins to be remitted. Only way to overcome the flesh. As Creator and life giver, “eternal life can only be through Jesus.

From the time of Adam’s creation our Creator God has allows Satan to put forth his agenda, deceive and be the “prince of the power of the air.” Creator Jesus gave Paul the understanding and he shared.

(Eph 2:1-3; And although you ’followers of Jesus’ were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest

(Eph 2:4-10; But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! - and He ’God the Father’ raised us up with Him ‘Jesus’ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (8) For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we ’followers of Jesus’ are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.”) (No one can be saved by works, only through Jesus is salvation.)

A few hundred years after Noah our Creator, “the Lord God Jesus” made a new perpetual covenant through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph that’s documented in Genesis through Revelations. About four hundred years later, the Lord God Jesus called and revealed Himself to Moses, through whom He led the Israelites from Egypt. Through Moses distinct regulations were given to separate His chosen people from the demonically influenced, but the fleshly hardhearted Israelites “like Cain” thought surely the pagans aren’t so bad, after all God gives them rain and blessings.

(Deut 18:9-14; “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, you must not learn the abhorrent practices of those nations. There must never be found among you anyone who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, anyone who practices divination, an omen reader, a soothsayer, a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who conjures up spirits, a practitioner of the occult, or a necromancer. (12) Whoever does these things is abhorrent to the Lord and because of these detestable things the Lord your God is about to drive them out from before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. Those nations that you are about to dispossess listen to omen readers and diviners, but the Lord your God has not given you permission to do such things.” (A new beginning prophesied.)

(Deut 18:15-19; “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you – from your fellow Israelites; you must listen to Him. This accords with what happened at Horeb in the day of the assembly. You asked the Lord your God: “Please do not make us hear the voice of the Lord our God any more or see this great fire any more lest we die.” The Lord then said to me, “What they have said is good. (18) I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put My words in His mouth and He will speak to them whatever I command. I will personally hold responsible anyone who then pays no attention to the words that prophet speaks in My name.”) (When we reject what Jesus spoke through Moses, we’re excusing and thinking like Cain.

Paul explains. (1Corinthians 13:8-13; ”Godly” Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, but when what is perfect comes, the partial will be set aside. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways. For now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”) (One day we’ll know God as He knows us.)

(Heb 13:1-9; “Brotherly love must continue. “among follows of Jesus” Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in prison as though you were in prison with them, and those ill-treated as though you too felt their torment. (4) Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers. Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (7) “Remember your “spiritual” leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever! Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them.”) The following verses express the difference in our spiritual altar and the tabernacle altar of old.” (Ours is a spiritual alter!)

(Heb 13:10-16; “We have an altar that those who serve in the tabernacle have no right to eat from. For the bodies of those animals whose blood the high priest brings into the sanctuary as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp. Therefore, to sanctify the people by his own blood, Jesus also suffered outside the camp. We must go out to Him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse He experienced. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. Through Jesus then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, acknowledging His name. And do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.

(Heb 13:17-19; Obey your “God called spiritual” leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls and will give an account for their work. Let them do this with joy and not with complaints, for this would be no advantage for you. Pray for us, for we “apostles” are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to conduct ourselves rightly in every respect. I especially ask you to pray that I ‘Paul’ may be restored to you very soon.”

(Heb 13:20-21; “Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead, the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, equip you with every good thing to do His will, working in us what is pleasing before Him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.” (The following verse is proof that Paul wrote Hebrews.)

(Heb 13:22-25; Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, bear with my message of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you briefly. You should know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he comes soon, he will be with me when I see you. Greetings to all your leaders and all the Saints. Those from Italy send you greetings. Grace be with you all.”) Paul is sure that all scripture is for our encouragement as he expressed in Romans.

(Romans 15:1-6; But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not just please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up. For even Christ did not please Himself, but just as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” (Quote from Psalms 69:9) “For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope. Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”)

(Rom 15:7-13; “Receive one another, then, just as Christ also received you, to God’s glory. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and thus the Gentiles glorify God for His mercy. As it is written, “Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.” (Quote from Psalms 18:49) And again it says: “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people.” (Quote from Deut 32:43) (11) And again, “Praise the Lord all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise Him.” And again Isaiah says, “The root of Jesse will come, and the one who rises to rule over the Gentiles, in Him will the Gentiles hope.” Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe IN Him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”)

God didn’t allow Moses to cross the Jordan, because he failed to give God glory when He gave them water from a rock. The Lord God did reveal and Moses shared with the people that Joshua would lead them. Then God called Moses and Joshua to the meeting tent and told Moses what the people would do when they became prosperous. Consider how prosperity might change your outlook?

(Deuteronomy 31:16-23; “Then the Lord said to Moses, “You are about to die, and then these people will begin to prostitute themselves with the foreign gods of the land into which they are going. They will reject Me and break My covenant that I have made with them. At that time My anger will erupt against them and I will abandon them and hide My face from them until they are devoured. Many disasters and distresses will overcome them so that they will say at that time, ‘Have not these disasters overcome us because our God is not among us?’ But I will certainly hide Myself at that time because of all the wickedness they will have done by turning to other gods. Now write down for yourselves the following song and teach it to the Israelites. Put it into their very mouths so that this song may serve as My witness against the Israelites! (20) For after I have brought them to the land I promised to their ancestors – one flowing with milk and honey – and they eat their fill and become fat, then they will turn to other gods and worship them; they will reject Me and break My covenant. Then when many disasters and distresses overcome them this song will testify against them, for their descendants will not forget it. I know the intentions they have in mind today, even before I bring them to the land I have promised.” So on that day Moses wrote down this song and taught it to the Israelites, and the Lord commissioned Joshua son of Nun, “Be strong and courageous, for you will take the Israelites to the land I have promised them, and I will be with you.”)

Our self serving fleshly nature inherited from Adam doesn’t change to spiritual until God calls and grants His gifted turning, “repentance.” When God was promising these lands to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, more than 500 years before, He knew the outcome of His dealing with Abraham’s descendents. (Sharing with Abraham that the people “known as Amorites” who lived sinful lives would cause Him to remove them when their limit was reached.

(Genesis 15:13-16; “Then the Lord said to Abram, “Know for certain that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign country. They will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years. But I will execute judgment on the nation that they will serve. Afterward they will come out with many possessions. But as for you, you will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age. (16) In the fourth generation your descendants will return here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its limit.”) God foreknew when He would lead Joshua and the Israelites across the Jordan and when the Amorites’ lands would revert.

To: 13,587 In Resident Churches of God, His Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus’ (9th month, 2nd day, 5779, to sunset.)

Laypeople in so called Christian denominations aren’t made aware that “trappings of Christ Mass started long before Jesus’ birth.” Jesus inspired Jeremiah to write about some of them.

(Jeremiah 10:1-5; “You people of Israel, listen to what the Lord has to say to you. The Lord says, “Do not start following pagan religious practices. Do not be in awe of signs that occur in the sky even though the nations hold them in awe. (3) For the religion of these people is worthless. They cut down a tree in the forest, and a craftsman makes it into an idol with his tools. He decorates it with overlays of silver and gold. He uses hammer and nails to fasten it together so that it will not fall over. Such idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field. (8; “The people of those nations are both stupid and foolish.

(Jer 10-14; The Lord is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King. When He shows His anger the earth shakes. None of the nations can stand up to His fury. You people of Israel should tell those nations this: ‘These gods did not make heaven and earth. They will disappear from the earth and from under the heavens.’ The Lord is the One who by His power made the earth. He is the One who by His wisdom established the world. And by His understanding He spread out the skies. (14) All these idolaters will prove to be stupid and ignorant. Every goldsmith will be disgraced by the idol he made. For the image he forges is merely a sham. They are worthless, mere objects to be mocked. When the time comes to punish them, they will be destroyed. The Lord, who is the inheritance of Jacob’s descendants, is not like them. He is the One who created everything. And the people of Israel “those God fights for” are those He claims as His own. He is known as the Lord who rules over all.”)

God cares and exalts, Satan devours. Writing to followers of Jesus, Peter shares. (1Peter 5:6-8; “And God will exalt you ’followers of Jesus’ in due time, if you humble yourselves under His mighty hand by casting all your cares on Him because He cares for you. Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.)

Satan likes “when professing Christians talk Jesus and practice paganism.” We cannot be Jesus’ witness while going along to get along. Jesus’ brother James was inspired to write; (“Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.” James 4:4) Spiritual adultery is to claim belonging to Jesus while practicing things that are abominations to Him, “things He would not approve of.”

It’s not much difference in modern Christendom’s many denominational practices. Most are from worldly commercialized paganism, practices from Baal and Molech customs. Long before Jesus’ fleshly birth, Egyptians depicted the cross in the hands of the goddess Sekhet, as a hieroglyphic sign of life. Egyptian Christians (Copts) adopted the cross as its emblem, carried in the hands of the Egyptian priests and Pontiff kings as the symbol of their authority, as priests of the “sun god” and called ‘the Sign of Life’.” (A more precise characterization coincided with corresponding general changes in customs and beliefs.) The cross became the symbol of consecration, especially in the case of objects pertaining to burial. (In the proto-Etruscan cemetery of Golasecca every tomb has a vase with a cross engraved on it. Crosses of more or less artistic design have been found in Tiryns at Mycenae in Crete, and on a fibula from Vulca.)

Spirit led Christians are compelled to separate from paganism. Many who refuse are persecuted. Hebrews 11: is referred to as the faith chapter and 1Corinthians 13: the love chapter, a study of these provides spiritual understanding for the called. (Understand Godly faith and love is only understood by the few God chooses.) Thankfully in the coming peace age, “Jesus’ millennial reign” the many will be gifted with understanding. All the faithful mentioned in Hebrews 11: and Believers IN Jesus are miraculously gifted with believing IN faith.

(Heb 11:32-40; “And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets. Through faith they conquered kingdoms, administered justice, gained what was promised, shut the mouths of lions, quenched raging fire, escaped the edge of the sword, gained strength in weakness, became mighty in battle, put foreign armies to flight, and women received back their dead raised to life. But others were tortured, not accepting release, to obtain a resurrection to a better life. And others experienced mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, sawed apart, murdered with the sword; they went about in sheepskins and goatskins; they were destitute, afflicted, ill-treated (the world was not worthy of them) they wandered in deserts and mountains and caves and openings in the earth. And these all were commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. (40) For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us.”) Jesus indicated the called should count the cost.

Jesus and His apostles taught, “turn from idolatrous practices that camouflage His truth. Satan’s followers camouflage Jesus, making Him fit their ideas, mostly of which are held by pagans of old, thus causing people to look to a figurine on a cross, a baby in a manger and sunrise worship, all of which goes against every Godly principle shared in His Holy Word. Idolatrous worship camouflages peoples imagination about Jesus’ deity “as the all powerful Son of God.” The One who created all things. (See John 1:1-5. Colossians 1:15-20 & Heb 1:)

The Lord Jesus is the One who made promises to the Patriarchs, delivered Israel from Egyptian bondage, took lands from and killed pagan people, gave rules for moral living that were good for His chosen people, commanding that they not learn the ways of the pagans.

Satan is far more powerful than religious teachers of this world. He’s shrewd and manifest himself as an angel of light to deceive if possible, even the Elect. (See Matt 24:) He appeals to selfish pride and the “I’ll do it my way nature inherited from Adam.” He was about this business before the flood, in the Patriarchs days he was having his way with the Egyptian, Greeks and other cultures. (Remember the tactics Satan attempted on Jesus?)

During the apostles time Satan planted deceitful workers in God’s churches, causing Paul to write. (2Cor 11:13-15; “For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.”)

(Satan has been instrumental with powerful leaders. He’s allowed to give many their power. Study Isaiah 10: to discern how God used demonic led people, “like the Assyrian used to punish His disobedient people. As discussed previously, “Christianity as the world knows it,” has brought forward practices that are an abomination to the God of Abraham. As before the flood and as Jesus predicted (See Matthew 24:) people love tradition, gods of the imagination, have little desire to search for truth, and turn to the God, manifested in the scriptures.

Hebrews 11: is a snapshot of many faithful people, about what God did by or through their gifted faith, how many suffered persecution and death because of their faith. These people counted the cost, faithfully expecting God’s promises, knowing He had plans for their future.

(Heb 12:1-6; “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfector of our faith. For the joy set out for Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken His seat at the right hand of the throne of God. (3) Think of Him who endured such opposition against Himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up. You have not yet resisted to the point of bloodshed in your struggle against sin. (5) And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons? “My son, do not scorn the Lord’s discipline or give up when He corrects you. (6) “For the Lord disciplines the one He loves and chastises every son He accepts.” (Quote from Prov 3:11-12)

(Heb 12:7-13; “Endure your suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline? But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons. Besides, we have experienced discipline from our earthly fathers and we respected them; shall we not submit ourselves all the more to the Father of spirits and receive “eternal” life? For they disciplined us for a little while as seemed good to them, but God does so for our benefit, that we may share His holiness. Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness for those trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your listless hands and your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but be healed.”)

Things happen in the lives of the called and diminises pride, causes an altruistic outlook, gives the desire to discern truth and be At One with Jesus. Normally Christians can look back and remember things that happened that changed their outlook. We did not personally cultivate the Godly love we have for one another.

(Heb 12:14-21; “Pursue peace with everyone, and holiness, for without it no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God, that no one be like a bitter root springing up and causing trouble, and through him many become defiled.” (If we pay attention we will observe bitterness in leaders that makes their followers like minded.) (16) And see to it that no one becomes an immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. For you know that later when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no opportunity for repentance, although he sought the blessing with tears.” (God grants repentance to His chosen, gives understanding that makes us see our errors, that of governments and the inherited natures unbelievers yield to.) (18) (“For you ‘followers of Jesus’ have not come to something that can be touched, to a burning fire and darkness and gloom and a whirlwind and the blast of a trumpet and a voice uttering words such that those who heard begged to hear no more.” (Today, we followers of Jesus may come before God the Father through Him, who knows our weaknesses and the desires of our hearts.) (19) “For they “the Israelites delivered from Egypt” could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.” In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said, “I shudder with fear.”

(Heb 12:22-24; “But you “followers of Jesus” have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly and congregation of the firstborn, “Jesus’ assembly” who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, “The Father” the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a New Covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.” (The new covenant is with those God The Fathers calls, those He gives spiritual discernment to. Abel’s believing IN caused him to sacrificed with the sprinkling of blood, as commanded. Christians desire to be obedient because of being gifted and led to be, “believers IN.”)

(Heb 12:25-29 “Take care not to refuse the One who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the One who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the One who warns from heaven? Then God’s voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.” Now this phrase “once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created “physical” things, so that what is unshaken may remain. So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe. (29) For our God is indeed a devouring fire.”)

God is spirit and His unshakable kingdom is spiritual. In the flesh we naturally think in terms of physical living and life. Through the flesh we are vulnerable to the flesh in various degrees, our concerns tend to be for what we see and feel. God’s love is spiritual, never ending and totally mature.

The Gospel, chapter 23

To: 13,555 In Resident Churches of God, His Elect: grace and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus’ (8th month, 30th day, 5779, to sunset.)

Considering that Jesus is the True Vine ‘tree trunk’ and we followers the branches that can do nothing apart from Him, we know He is speaking spiritually. Many non-believers are gifted with talents to accomplish much in the realm of building, art, music etc. “but in the realm of spiritual, we can’t comprehend except God miraculously opens our understanding.” Likewise with Godly Faith, “All these faithful spoken of in Hebrews and the called in every age” were and are gifted with Believing IN faith.

(Heb 11:13-16; “These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth. For those who speak in such a way make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. In fact, if they had been thinking of the land that they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they aspire to a better land, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.”) Believers IN have Jesus’ millennial kingdom and New Jerusalem our homeland. (See Rev 21:)

(Heb 11:17-19; By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He had received the promises, yet he was ready to offer up his only son. God had told him, “Through Isaac descendants will carry on your name,” (In Isaac seed will be named for you.” Quotation from Gen 21:12).

and he, ’Abraham’ reasoned that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense he received him back from there.”)

Abraham’s procreation days had past, thus God miraculously gave Isaac. Abraham didn’t fear death for himself or Isaac, because God had made Himself known, ‘revealed Himself.’ Abraham knew life was through God ‘the life giver.” Godly faith love was perfected in Abraham. When we know God’s attributes, characteristics and message, there is no fear of death. Jesus’ apostle John explains.

(1John 4:15-19; “If anyone confesses “through gifted knowing faith” that Jesus is the Son of God, God resides in him and he in God. And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has in us. God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God resides in him. By this love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears punishment has not been perfected in love. We love because He loved us first.”)

Like gifted spiritual understanding, Godly love is gifted and perfected through the revelation that God calls and loves us first.

(Heb 11:20; “By faith also Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning the future.”)

(Heb 11:21; “By faith Jacob, as he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph and worshiped as he leaned on his staff.” (Gen 47:31)

(11:22; “By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, mentioned the exodus of the sons of Israel and gave instructions about his burial.”

(Heb 11:23-26; “By faith, when Moses was born, his parents hid him for three months, because they saw the child was beautiful and they were not afraid of the king’s edict. By faith, when he grew up, Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to be ill-treated with the people of God than to enjoy sin’s fleeting pleasure. He regarded abuse suffered for Christ to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for his eyes were fixed on the reward. (Even then Moses knew God planned a time of peace on earth and rule by the Messiah.)

(Heb 11:27-31; By faith Moses left Egypt without fearing the king’s anger, for he persevered as though he could see the One who is invisible. By faith Moses kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that the one who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them. By faith they crossed the Red Sea as if on dry ground, but when the Egyptians tried it, they were swallowed up. By faith the walls of Jericho fell after the people marched around them for seven days. By faith Rahab the prostitute escaped the destruction of the disobedient, because she welcomed the spies in peace.”)

We know the Passover kept in Egypt looked forward to Jesus’ death. Our believing IN Jesus’ sacrificial blood, “giving His life for the remission of sin” is through and by whom eternal life is given. It starts with our being gifted to believe IN.

Our selfish nature wishes we could teach anonymously, because God’s truth divides families and friends, but that is cowardly. We’re called to teach and encourage others to be obedient ambassadors of Jesus. Followers of Jesus must teach against pagan practices and this world‘s system of things, “it’s what Jesus did.” We realize teaching Jesus, as He manifest Himself to be in the holy scriptures, will likely brings about persecutions. Christians, like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph are led to separate from the world at large. It’s why Jesus had Paul quote from Leviticus 26:12, Jeremiah 32:38, Ezek 37:27 and Isaiah 52:11, when he wrote.

(2Corinthians 6:16-17 “And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we “Christians” are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the All-Powerful Lord.)

It’s why Jesus said; (“Remember what I told you, ‘A slave is not greater than His master. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they, obeyed My word, they will obey yours too. But they will do all these things to you on account of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me.” John 15:20-21)

Professing Christians who go along with this world’s system of things are loved by the world. Their practices tell the world, “I’m one of you.” To His followers Jesus said; (“If the world hates you, be aware that it hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you do not belong to the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.” John 15:18-19)

Followers of Jesus are taught, “count the cost” when led to follow Him. He said; “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate (Meaning: love less by comparison. This figurative use of hate operates on a relative scale. God is to be loved more than family or self.) his own father and mother, and wife and children, and brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesn’t sit down first and compute the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? Luke 14:26)

Christ Mass, Easter and like traditions are part of the apostate Jude exposed. Satan inspired the apostate workers to mix paganism with Judaism and call it Christian. Motherhood worship, “the feminine aspect of divinity is an integral (popular) element of the Catholicism and the entire Indian fabric.” The entire Indian subcontinent, pagans Greeks, Romans, Celts etc. (Names like Anat, Aphrodite, Artemis, Diana, Gaia, Ishtar, Iris, Juno and Mary, are re-entered into Pagan Christianity as Virgin Mary (as Mother of God). One such tradition is Dianic Wicca. It’s goddess worship and neo-paganism, often visualized in three aspects: (Maiden, Mother and Crone.) (The maiden represents youth, emerging sexuality, the huntress running with her hounds. Symbolizing feminine power, fertility and nurturing.) (The Crone is thought of as wisdom, compassion which comes with experience, the one who guides through death’s experience.) The use of statutes and figurines brought forward and used in so called Christian services originated in paganism. Remember, Jacob’s father in law used them and Jacob‘s wife stole some.

Before Jesus the cross was used as the symbol of sacred fire or as a symbol of the sun, denoting its daily rotation. It has been interpreted as the mystic representation of lightning or the god of the tempest, or the emblem of the Aryan pantheon and the primitive Aryan civilization. The ancient Egyptians, often depicted the cross in the hands of the goddess Sekhet and as a hieroglyphic sign of life or of the living. Egyptian Christians (Copts) adopted it as the emblem of the cross. In his book, The Worship of the Dead, Colonel J. Garnier wrote: “The cross in the form of the ‘Crux Ansata’ … was carried in the hands of the Egyptian priests and Pontiff kings as the symbol of their authority as priests of the, “sun god” and was called ‘the Sign of Life’.” (In the Bronze Age a representation of the cross as conceived in Christian art appeared, and was popularized.) The more precise characterization coincided with a corresponding general change in customs and beliefs. The cross then came into use in various forms on many objects, fibulas, cinctures, earthenware fragments, and on the bottom of drinking vessels. De Mortillet believed that such use of the sign was not merely ornamental, but rather a symbol of consecration, especially in the case of objects pertaining to burial. (In the proto-Etruscan cemetery of Golasecca every tomb has a vase with a cross engraved on it. Crosses of more or less artistic design have been found in Tiryns at Mycenae in Crete, and on a fibula from Vulca.)

The apostate workers adaptation of the cross as a symbol of worship, helped bring in the mix of paganism and Judaism. Most professing Christian denominations do teach that Satan is the god of this world, (all but their particular world) but don’t seem to take into account that things with world wide popularity are likely demonically influenced. Such is the case with Christ Mass. It is celebrated as a major festival in most countries around the world, including many whose populations are mostly non-Christian. In some non-Christian countries, periods of former colonial rule introduced the celebration. Such as Hong Kong; in others, Christian minorities or foreign cultural influences have led populations to observe the holiday. Countries such as Japan, where Christmas is popular despite there being only a small number of Christians, have adopted many of the secular aspects of Christmas, such as gift-giving, decorations, and Christmas trees. Only about three countries in the world do not observe Christmas.
