Mockeries of Truth, chapter 18

7/30/19, God’s 4th month, 27th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

When speaking to Nicodemus, Jesus explained the miracle of being, “born again.” (The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” See John 3:5-8.)

Jesus was likely born during the third annual holy season. During the Feast of Tabernacles season, (Trumpets the first day of the seventh month, Atonement the tenth, Feast the fifteenth or Last Great Day the twenty second. It seems that His exact birth date is purposely camouflaged as is Moses’ burial place. He did set aside times looking back and forward to pre-planned points regarding our saving, peace on earth and judgment. No particular grave site nor birthday is set aside for worship. It isn’t recorded that Jesus celebrated His or anyone else’s birthday. The holy annual Sabbath, “Trumpets” could have been chosen for Jesus’ birth because it foreshadows Jesus triumphant return to rule this earth for one thousand years before New Jerusalem with God the Father comes down.

We “Believers IN” know this earth and heavenly bodies are sustained by our Creator Lord God Jesus. He sustains the sun, causing it to burn precisely according to plan. He keeps this earth moving precisely, creating the seasons. This earth’s moon at the exact distant, controlling the ocean tides etc. Our Creator is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and ending. God our Father’s plan for Jesus’ millennial reign on earth will happen on His schedule.

Jesus’ apostles proclaimed Creator Jesus as He’s manifest Himself to be and taught these truths. (He and they teach us to “believe IN Him as Creator, not His creations.) Initially Jesus’ apostles thought His second return with power to rule would likely be in their life time. (Paul wrote; “And I say this, brothers and sisters: The time is short. So then those who have wives should be as those who have none, those with tears like those not weeping, those who rejoice like those not rejoicing, those who buy like those without possessions, those who use the world as though they were not using it to the full. For the present shape of this world is passing away.” 1Corinthians 7:29-35)

We married Christians can see the logic in what Paul is teaching. Pleasing a mate is suppose to divide one’s attention. Remember, Paul is giving his opinion from two points of view. (Thinking Jesus’ prophecies recorded at Matthew 24 were at hand and it being natural to please one’s mate even as themselves. The same principle regarding children.

(1Cor 7:36-38; “If anyone “a father” thinks he is acting inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the bloom of youth (Referring to engagement: “if she is past the critical point,” “if passions are strong.” (The word, “passion here” literally means “to be past the high point.”) and it seems necessary, he should do what he wishes; he does not sin. Let them marry. But the man who is firm in his commitment and is under no necessity but has control over his will, and has decided in his own mind to keep his own virgin does well. So then, the one who “allows” marriage of his own virgin “daughter” does well, but the one who does not, does better.”)

The custom of fathers giving daughters for marriage goes way back. Remember Jacob worked seven years for his choice mate, only to be given the older sister; then another seven years for his choice. Paul is writing to Believers IN God’s Way. A Believers IN shouldn’t marry a nonbeliever.

(1Cor 7:39-40; “A wife is bound as long as her husband is living. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes (only someone in the Lord). But in my opinion, she will be happier if she remains as she is – and I think that I too have the Spirit of God!”)

God’s rule for His chosen people is, “they shouldn’t enter into marriage with pagans.” Should not be unevenly yoked! (See 2Corinthians 6:4)

(1Cor 8:1-3 “With regard to food sacrificed to idols, we know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know. But if someone loves God, he is known by God.”)

We fleshly beings don’t know to the degree we need to, we know if we love God it’s because God loved us first, by revealing Himself. Only when His attributes are revealed can we love God and His Ways. Worldly knowledge, “that is education” puffs up and makes the fleshly minded natural person feel superior to the less educated. Such people then want to lord over others.

(1Cor 8:4-6; “With regard then to eating food sacrificed to idols, we know that “an idol in this world is nothing” and that “there is no God but One.” If after all there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), yet for us “we Christians” there is One God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live, and One Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live.”) (A side note: “had Paul believed the Holy Spirit to be deity with God the Father and God the Son, he missed the perfect opportunity in verse 4-6.)

Paul is again reinforcing his own words at Colossians 1:15-20, John’s introduction words recorded at John 1:1-5 and Hebrews 1:.

Demonic led societies rationalize about the sun and various planets permanency and began looking to God’s creation; “rather than to our loving law giving Creator who sustains all things.” Prideful people allow self devised opinions, look to divided clerics, thus are divided and confusion. It’s an unbelieving hostile nature that’ll prevail until Jesus’ return and Satan bound. Christians know sacrificing to an idol is nothing but a bad example for unbelievers. Consider why God would NOT want us sacrificing to idols? The Israelites were and we Christians are a set aside “sanctified” people; called to be an example in the world. (As Paul concluded for himself, “All things are lawful for me” – but not everything is beneficial. “All things are lawful for me” – but I will not be controlled by anything.” 1Cor 6:12)

Let’s be mindful of our example and realize “what we practice is what we worship.” We shouldn’t practice things rooted in paganism.

(1Cor 8:7-10; “But this knowledge is not shared by all. And some, by being accustomed to idols in former times, eat this food as an idol sacrifice and “their conscience because it is weak is defiled.” Now food will not bring us close to God. We are no worse if we do not eat and no better if we do. (Eat things sacrificed to idols.) (9) But be careful that this liberty of yours does not become a hindrance to the weak. For if someone weak sees you who possess knowledge dining in an idol’s temple, will not his conscience be “strengthened” to eat food offered to idols?”)

A person known by God; “is normally a person that loves God” and isn’t affected by idols, nor food sacrificed to an idol since we know an idol is nothing but a figment of another’s imagination. However our participation indicates a condoning that damages the conscience of people weak in the faith.

(1Cor 8:11-13; “So by your knowledge the weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed. If you sin against your brothers or sisters in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. (13) For this reason, if “sacrificed” food “meats” causes my brother or sister to sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I may not cause one of them to sin.”)

Our practices shouldn’t mimic this demonic world’s populations. We need to remember why we’re sanctified. When we suffer for the cause of Jesus, our mindset should be “so be it.” Idols and idolatry is at every turn in every society and God’s Word identifies Christians as “Christ Like People.” Until God opens a person’s understanding, “most idolize their own understanding, intellect, attitudes and ways that seem right to their inherited from Adam fleshly instinctive nature.” A nature inherited by all people, “that only God can supernaturally change.”

Consider these spiritual principles. (1) Our outlook needs to be, considerate of others, (2) things formally written are for we who’re called last, (3) for our learning and encouragement, (4) AND Eternal life is only inherited through Jesus.

In Matthew 20: Jesus’ parable is about late workers being paid the same wage as those hired early. Culminating in verses 15-16, Jesus says; “Am I not permitted to do what I want with what belongs to Me? ‘are you envious because I am generous?’ So the last will be first, and the first last.”)

Jesus’ apostle Paul teaches us, “everything written in former times are written for our instruction and for the particular reason of unity.”

(Romans 15:3-6; “For even Christ did not please Himself, but just as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on Me.” For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope. Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”)

God is about unity in heaven and on earth. Unity in His coming kingdom on earth, unity among believers IN, “His church” and unity in families.

7/27/19, God’s 4th month, 16th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

When the seventh day holy Sabbath isn’t remembered people soon forget the essentials of creation and why we’re made in God’s image and likeness. God made the seventh day holy, rested and reflected. Normally people who think the Sabbath has been changed soon disregard the day they think it was changed to and consider it a frolic day. The same then soon began worshiping tradition and so called science rather than our Creator.

“Bible.org” is a good source for study. We subscribe to that newsletter and want to share the upcoming quoting part of Paul’s letter to the Colossians.

AUGUST NEWSLETTER

And after you have read this letter, have it read to the church of Laodicea. In turn, read the letter from Laodicea as well (Colossians 4:16, NET).

It seems obvious from Paul’s words here to the saints of Colossae and Laodicea that he believed his words, written to one church, were equally applicable to other churches as well. Thus, the Book of Colossians was intended to be circulated to others. This is consistent with the nature of truth: truth is universally true. Something that is true in 2,000 B.C. is still true in 2,000 A.D. Something that is true in Corinth in Paul’s day, is still true in Columbus, Ohio or Cape Town, South Africa today.

This is something about which the Scriptures are clear and emphatic: Biblical truth is universally true. What is true, and good for one church, is true and good for all the churches:

Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work (2Timothy 3:16-17).

I encourage you, then, be imitators of me. For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and faithful son in the Lord. He will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church (1Corinthians 4:16-17).

Nevertheless, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each person, so must he live I give this sort of direction in all the churches (1Corinthians 7:17).

If anyone intends to quarrel about this, we have no other practice, nor do the churches of God (1 Corinthians 11:16).

The universal relevance and applicability of the truth of God’s Word is foundational to a global ministry like Bible.org. Biblical truth that is taught in one part of the world, and at one point in time, is relevant to every church, in every place, at any time. Our free content on Bible.org (and other content which we recommend) reaches nearly every country in the world as our correspondence consistently indicates.

If you would like to help us continue to provide these free, trustworthy, universal truths

The following scriptural text prove that the Lord speaking through Moses was in fact Jesus.” (Study John 1:1-5, Colossians 1:15-22 and Hebrews 1:1-4 again; “After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, in these last days He has spoken to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He created the world. The Son is the radiance of His glory and the representation of His essence, and He sustains all things by His powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Thus he became so far better than the angels as He has inherited a name superior to theirs.”

The world isn’t gifted to recognize; “annual Sabbaths are holy to God and believers IN Jesus” they foreshadow Jesus’ being the Messiah and reason for the three seasons, “Passover, Feast of First Fruits and Feast of Tabernacles.

(Leviticus 23:4-8; “‘These are the Lord’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you must proclaim at their appointed time. In the first month, “Abib - Nisan” on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, is a Passover offering to the Lord. Then on the fifteenth day of the same month will be the Festival of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day “the 15th” there will be a holy assembly for you; you must not do any regular work. You must present a gift to the Lord for seven days, and the seventh day is a holy assembly; you must not do any regular work.’”) (The Passover season contains two of God’s seven annual Sabbaths.)

Sabbaths are made for man, not man for the Sabbaths. Made so followers of Jesus could keep focused on His Way. Putting leavening out symbolizes putting sin out of our lives. Assembling on God’s set aside holy times shows respect to and worship of. Recognizing God is the giver of all good things. There is no set aside time, for not worshiping.

The importance of Passover, “the 14th day of God’s first month, plus the 15th and 22nd annual Sabbaths, look back and forward to Jesus’ blood sacrifice for the remission of sin and our need to overcome to the end. God’s chosen people’s “Israel’s” deliverance was a type of our individual deliverance. Through Moses, Jesus delivered the Israelites from Egyptian bondage, “sin” on the exact preplanned day and much later as pre-planned gave Himself for the remission of sin on the exact day planned. (See Exodus 12:40) The word, “Israel” has the MEANING, “God Fights.”

Israel’s time in bondage to Egypt was exactly 430 years and was told to Abraham. Jacob’s son, “Joseph” was made Jesus’ servant and ruler under the Egyptian Pharaoh. Through Joseph God settled the Israelites in Egypt. Jesus had promised Abraham, “his descendents would be in bondage and their delivery preplanned.” That promise looked forward to a greater spiritual delivery of Abraham‘s spiritual descendents. (See Galatians 3:29) Moses was called to be a type of the coming Deliverer. Jesus is our Deliverer and our Passover Lamb.

Jesus kept the Passover with humility, demonstrating love, washing His disciples feet and teaching that eternal life is through Himself. (Jesus “The Vine” and we followers are the branches. (See John 1:5) Jesus had the prophets, foretell His death, burial, resurrection, second return and is still teaching us through His apostles. Jesus’ death and burial was on the 14th day of Nisan- Abib. They hurried to put Him in the tomb before the annual, fifteenth day of Nisan Sabbath. (Not the weekly Sabbath, even if the weekly fell on the same day as the annual.)

From the weekly, “wave sheaf offering Sabbath” begins the fifty day count to Pentecost. (The second holy season and third annual Sabbath, “the feast of first fruits.” (Pentecost meaning “to count fifty” and God’s third of seven annual Sabbaths. Demonstrating the importance of Pentecost to Himself, “God the Father sent His holy spirit of truth” to dwell in His chosen people on that Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension.

Jesus told His apostles to wait in Jerusalem for this promise. Pentecost is the birth day of God‘s new testament church. .

The third, holy to God season. (see Exodus 23:14-19) (Deut 16:16-17) includes the last four of seven annual Sabbaths. Trumpets, Atonement, the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles and the Last Great Day. Trumpets is on the first day of God’s seventh month, Atonement the tenth day, the Feast of Tabernacles the fifteenth day and seventh annual Sabbath, the 22nd and the eighth day of the feast. The seventh annual Sabbath, called, “the Last Great Day.” (Lev 23:23-36)

Again lets study Jesus’ recorded spoken words as He kept this “Last Great Day.”

(John 7:37-39; “On the Last Day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me, and let the one who believes IN Me drink. Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him will flow rivers of living water.’” (Now He said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed IN Him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

God planned that the holy spirit of truth be given miraculously and with power on that Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension. (Likened to the wind, His spirit was gifted.)

The present world’s most accepted calendar is the Roman calendar. Created to appease gentile populations. Its new year attempts to coincide with the winter equinox. God’s calendar first month falls around March - April and His seventh around October. God’s months begins on each new moon. (Google, “Jewish calendar” if interested in keeping attuned with God‘s calendar.

7/26/19, God’s 4th month, 16th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

God’s kingdom foundation is Jesus. Review Colossians 1:15-20 from last study. It was known before Adam’s creation that our loving Creator Jesus would later come in the flesh, shed His own blood so “people’s sins could be remitted and inherit eternal life through His shedding His life‘s blood.” Seemingly this was shared “at least in part” with angelic beings. We speculate that Satan and his followers became jealous over God’s plan to make it possible for humans to ultimately become literal children of God and be over angels. There’s not a lot of information relative to our ultimate association with angels, but there’s much information about angels looking out for we fleshly beings. When Jesus’ apostle Paul was teaching the church at Corinth about righteously judging fellow church members, he writes; (1Cor 6:3; “Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters!”)

Jude was inspired to make comparisons between disobedient angelic beings and people committing apostasy. Rejected God’s authority, slander, make decisions from within their hostile inherited nature, traveling down Cain’s path, committing the same errors of Balaam’s and Korah‘s. Note: Jude goes all the way back to the time of Israel’s deliverance and Balaam’s later coaching the Israelites to sin.

(Jude 1:8-13; Yet these men, as a result of their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority and insult the glorious ones. But even when Michael the archangel was arguing with the devil and debating with him concerning Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a slanderous judgment, but said, “May the Lord rebuke you!” (10) But these men do not understand the things they slander, and they are being destroyed by the very things that, like irrational animals, they instinctively comprehend. Woe to them! For they have traveled down Cain’s path, and because of greed have abandoned themselves to Balaam’s error; hence, they will certainly perish in Korah’s rebellion. These men are dangerous reefs at your love feasts, feasting without reverence, feeding only themselves. They are waterless clouds, carried along by the winds; autumn trees without fruit – twice dead, uprooted; wild sea waves, spewing out the foam of their shame; wayward stars for whom the utter depths of eternal darkness have been reserved.”)

Followers of Jesus should know we’re in the latter days when Jesus’ Matthew 24: prophecies are near unfolding. Paul thought these days were close when he wrote.

(1Cor 7:29-31; And I say this, brothers and sisters: The time is short. So then those who have wives should be as those who have none, those with tears like those not weeping, those who rejoice like those not rejoicing, those who buy like those without possessions, those who use the world as though they were not using it to the full. For the present shape of this world is passing away.”)

Paul lived in times similar to these later days. To him and many today, it seems Jesus’ return will be soon. But it’s not yet, UNLESS God the Father cuts the time really short. WHY? The world is not quite like Sodom and Gomorra but moving fast! (Study Matthew 24:)

Whether it be a short or long time, our life spans are short. Our physical deaths ends the overcoming time we have in this age. Our time on this earth is a testing. Be mindful that many are not called in this age and Jesus’ Word will ultimately be the judge of all. Let’s repeat and review John’s teaching.

(John 12:47-50; “If anyone hears My words and does not obey them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world. The one who rejects Me and does not accept My words has a judge; the WORD I HAVE SPOKEN WILL JUDGE HIM AT THE LAST DAY. For I have not spoken from My own authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has commanded Me what I should say and what I should speak. (50) And I know that His commandment is ETERNAL LIFE. Thus the things I say, I say just as the Father has told Me.”)

Some well meaning people are NOT called in this age for reasons we do not fully understand. Good intentions do not translate to a believing IN God as He manifest Himself to be. (Part of the good news is; “a resurrection, and opening of minds awaits many in the age to come.) Many well intending people will likely repent during Jesus’ millennial rule, some arrogant may not. (Review 1Corinthians 6:9-11 and Revelations 21:5-8)

A large majority in this age are in darkness and rejects Jesus just as He and God the Father knew they would. Jesus prophesied. (If possible even God’s Elect would be deceived.) When Satan is bound and Jesus revealed people will have no excuse for not believing IN Jesus. (When Jesus returns, the deceiver bound, knowledge of God will cover as water the sea; many people will be resurrected as was Lazarus. Many will repent for having lived the way that seemed right to their fleshly inherited nature.) People loving evil, “as Jesus describes evil” will die a second death. Jesus’ revelations to John on the subject needs to be repeated.

(Revelations 21:5-8; “And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new!” Then He said to me, “Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.” He also said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of life. The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”) Worldly religions can’t imagine God being this awesome. Writing to Believers, Paul explains.

(1Corinthians 15:20-34: “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, “Adam” the resurrection of the dead also came through a man, “Jesus.” For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. (23) But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him. Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all his enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death. (27) For He, “God the Father” has put everything in subjection under His, “Jesus’” feet. But when it says “everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the One, “God the Father” who put everything in subjection to Him. And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be subjected to the One, “God the Father” who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all. (29) Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, then why are they baptized for them? Why too are we, “apostles” in danger every hour? Every day I am in danger of death! This is as sure as my boasting in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. If from a human point of view I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.” Sober up as you should, and stop sinning! For some have no knowledge of God – I say this to your shame!)

Jesus’ apostles died for teaching these truths. Believing in God the Father, God the Son, the resurrections, gifted eternal life through Jesus, Jesus’ returning with power, His millennial rule and New Jerusalem coming down.

Heavenly Father: we Believers IN are thankful that You know our minds, attitudes and inherited characteristics. We honestly pray that You intervene in our minds, lead us to know, honor and practice Your Ways. Keep us on Your Potter’s wheel and grow us as is pleasing to Yourself. We ask in the nature and name of Jesus. AMEN

With the help of, “pride in their own intellect” Satan has denominations divided and each attempt to make Jesus fit their fleshly logic. The same Jesus that came in the flesh, is the Lord God that said, “let us make man in our image and likeness.” The same communed with Adam, Eve, Abel and Cain. Called Abraham friend, promised blessings to his physical and spiritual descendents. Our Lord revealed and had Malachi write.

(Mal 3:5-6; “I will come to you in judgment. I will be quick to testify against those who practice divination, those who commit adultery, those who break promises, and those who exploit workers, widows, and orphans, who refuse to help the immigrant and in this way show they do not fear Me,” says the Lord who rules over all. (6) “Since, I, the Lord, do not go back on My promises, you, sons of Jacob, have not perished.””)

Remember, Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. Today’s spiritual Israelites are followers of Jesus. (Review Galatians 3:29.) Lets review John’s introduction of Jesus.

(John 1:1-5; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning. All things were created by Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. In Him was life, and the Life was the light of mankind. (5) And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.”) Jesus’ apostle Paul writes the same at Colossians 1:15-20 and at Hebrews 1:1-4;

(Heb 1:1-4; “After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, in these last days He has spoken to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He created the world. The Son is the radiance of His glory and the representation of His essence, and He sustains all things by His powerful word, and so when He had accomplished cleansing for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Thus He became so far better than the angels as He has inherited a name superior to theirs.”)

We’re delivered from darkness to light when Jesus is revealed and we repent for having lived the way that seemed right to our fleshly intellect. As always study the whole text.

When did Jesus accomplished cleansing of sins? From when He re-creation and creating “it was planned that the Son of God would be our Messiah and sacrifice Himself for the sins of the world. Blood sacrifices and holy to God times, all looked forward to our being gifted with eternal life through Jesus’ shed blood, His accomplishments by and through His first and second coming is a mystery to people in darkness, trusting their own intellect, rather than God’s Word. The mystery? His gifted spirit living in people, giving the desire and effort to be at one with Himself. People imputed with the spirit of truth to the mind “desire to be atOne with Him and God the Father.” Through this gifted desire, we can enthusiastically honor things holy to Him.

Mockeries of Truth, chapter 15

Wednesday, July 24th, 2019

7/24/19, God’s 4th month, 14th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

“At-one-meant” with God begins when He calls and opens minds to understand His deity as revealed at John 1:1-5, Hebrews 1: and the following Colossians text. (Col 1:15-20; He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him. He Himself is before all things and all things are held together ‘sustained’ in Him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things. For God ’The Father’ was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”)

Denominations can’t seem to believe IN this Jesus and when He isn’t believed IN by those professing to believe “it’s apostasy.” Our Lord’s brother Jude was allowed to see the consequence of “believing that.”

(Jude 1:3-4; “Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you about our common salvation, I now feel compelled instead to write to encourage you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the Saints. For certain men have secretly slipped in among you – men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe – ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”)

How do people deny Jesus? We repeat, “Jude isn’t speaking about a verbally denial.” (He’s denied when people don’t obey and practice living His prescribed Way.) When people claiming to believe condone practices that honor imaginary gods. Even honoring the same customs of people groups whose lands God gave the Israelites because of their abominable practices. These people and Israelites later, yielded to demonically inspired agenda’s that opposed obedience to Creator Jesus. Desiring the way that seems right to our inherited from Adam nature leads to animalistic behavior.

The Israelites and Jesus’ apostles were expecting a Messiah who’d deliver them “as they’d been delivered for Egypt years before.” (They didn’t realize It was prophesied to be after the Messiah would come, teach about His kingdom, give His life for the remission of sin and spiritually lead a people to be atOne with Himself and God the Father.) The apostles particularly thought it time for the kingdom of God’s establishment. It was, but not in the way they expected, “His church’s establishment on gifted faith would initiate His kingdom on earth.”

Jesus knew His church would be infiltrated by hostile unbelievers who’d attempt to change His timing and purpose. (God’s kingdom on earth is founded through gifted faith like Abraham’s. God’s kingdom on earth will be established through His calling out a people, growing and shaping them to be made atOne.” It isn’t a manufactured methodology but by the will of God.

A religious method of works is what Paul was delivered from. The Pharisee’s false narrative was that anyone could receive salvation through choosing obedience to the law. Jesus’ apostles taught salvation was through gifted faith in Jesus. They’d be persecuted by Israelites, gentiles and governments who’d be Satan’s deceptive tools. Spiritual growth would include Jesus’ followers overcoming disagreements among themselves. To Jesus’ apostles His prophesies at Matthew 24:, seemed to be coming soon.

By the time Jesus was reveling to His apostle John, “it was obvious that His message and His deity would be twisted beyond recognition to a materialistic world.” He revealed to His apostles that false religions would deceive the whole world before His return. (From the content of Paul’s letters we see, “people were asking him about their problems dealing with the frustrations of what they thought were the last days.) Conditions in Greece, Corinth and Jerusalem were bad and false teachers were attempting to confuse “The Way.” The Way of God they’d been called to.

Paul understood demonic immortality’s pulls on the flesh

and how it‘d be used religiously.

(1Cor 7:1-6; Now with regard to the issues you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of immoralities, each man should have relations with his own wife and each woman with her own husband. A husband should give to his wife her sexual rights, and likewise a wife to her husband. It is not the wife who has the rights to her own body, but the husband. In the same way, it is not the husband who has the rights to his own body, but the wife. Do not deprive each other, except by mutual agreement for a specified time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then resume your relationship, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. (6) I say this as a concession, not as a command. I wish that everyone was as I am. But each has his own gift from God, one this way, another that.)

In verse 26 of this chapter, Paul makes his rational clear. (Because of the impending crisis, I think it best for you to remain as you are.) Apparently Paul never married, but he understood relationships from God’s View. The reason Paul gave was also. “so you may devote yourselves to prayer.” (Note that Paul separates his view from the Lord’s.)

(1Cor 7:8-10; To the unmarried and widows I say that it is best for them to remain as I am. But if they do not have self-control, let them get married. For it is better to marry than to burn with sexual desire. (10) To the married I give this command – not I, but the Lord – a wife should not divorce a husband (but if she does, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband), and a husband should not divorce his wife.) Paul was cautious regarding inserting his own opinion. When people see chaotic times on the horizon Paul’s advice back then is good for any age to come.

(1Cor 7:12-16; “To the rest I say – I, not the Lord – if a brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is happy to live with him, he should not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is happy to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified because of the wife, and the unbelieving wife because of her husband. Otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy. But if the unbeliever wants a divorce, let it take place. In these circumstances the brother or sister is not bound. God has called you in peace. (16) For how do you know, wife, whether you will bring your husband to salvation? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will bring your wife to salvation?) In other words, God may use one person through whom He’d call another.

God knows all things in advance. A believing person could be used in the call of an unbeliever for testing. We aren’t promised to be free from trials, but overcoming trials grows us spiritually. We’re led to grow in God’s grace and overcome to the end.

(1Cor 7:17-19; Nevertheless, as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each person, so must we live. I give this sort of direction in all the churches. Was anyone called after he had been circumcised? He should not try to undo his circumcision. Was anyone called who is uncircumcised? He should not get circumcised. (For the purpose of thinking either was necessary for salvation.) (19) Circumcision is nothing and un-circumcision is nothing. Instead, keeping God’s commandments is what counts.)

God knows each person’s situation when He calls and reveals Himself. God may put an individual in a particular situation for His purpose. He knows how to grow each person. (For example; “living with an unbelieving spouse may be the training God desires one experience, “for His purpose.”) God’s prophet Hosea is an example. (Hosea 1:2; When the Lord first spoke through Hosea, He said to him, “Go marry a prostitute who will bear illegitimate children conceived through prostitution, because the nation continually commits spiritual prostitution by turning away from the Lord.”)

Israel like individuals was called to be God’s set aside “sanctified” people, “when they failed to be obedient to the calling, they became spiritual prostitutes.” Hosea had to learn first hand, how God felt toward His rebellious people.

(1Cor 7:20-24; “Let each one remain in that situation in life in which he was called. Were you called as a slave? Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity. For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord’s freedman. In the same way, the one who was called as a free person is Christ’s slave. You were bought with a price. Do not become slaves of men. In whatever situation someone was called, brothers and sisters, let him remain in it with God.”)

Each called individual is called for God’s purpose, “needing to learn in this age what it’s like to serve as someone’s slave and make the best of it.” An employee may be the instrument God uses to call a business owner. A converted wife may be God’s tool to convert a husband. When we are in a position to be a witness for good, “it’s likely God’s doing.” (Review verse 24: “theologians should never lord over or usurp God’s will in people’s lives.) (Paul next paragraph is from his opinion that Jesus’ prophecy recorded at Matthew 24, was unfolding then.)

(1Cor 7:25-28; With regard to the question about people who have never married, I have no command from the Lord, but I give my opinion as one shown mercy by the Lord to be trustworthy. Because of the impending crisis I think it best for you to remain as you are. The one bound to a wife should not seek divorce. The one released from a wife should not seek marriage. But if you marry, you have not sinned. And if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face difficult circumstances, and I am trying to spare you such problems.”)

Paul was a diligent overseer of the people, desiring the best for each. The facts are that even though Jesus’ coming was not to be during that apostolic age, people taking Paul’s advice were spared problems because of persecutions. (When we see Jesus’ Matthew 24:, prophecy nearing it’s conclusion, we need to consider Paul’s advice for the time.)

Mockeries of Truth, chapter 14

Monday, July 22nd, 2019

7/22/19, God’s 4th month, 10th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

“ God is One” meaning “the Father and Son or as One.” Ultimate “at-one-ment” is what God’s heavenly and earthly kingdom is about. As God is One, so must be His church. Christian families and individual members. No room for various denominations in God’s kingdom. God called out individuals must surrender personal agendas and seek to view all things from His perspective. It’s what repentance is all about. (God miraculously and spiritually leads individuals to turn  from what seemed right to the inherited from Adam nature, to the inspired gifted “obedient spirit of truth nature” is what’s meant by, “born again” - “born from above.”) God gifted new births makes individuals atOne with God the Father and God the Son. Personal opinions and agendas are replaced by God’s View regarding all things. (A miraculous nature change imperative.)

(John 3:1-4; Now a certain man, a Pharisee named Nicodemus, who was a member of the Jewish ruling council, came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that You do unless God is with Him.” (3) Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time, can he?”

(3:5-8; Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. (7) Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”)

Our all knowing, pre-planning God the Father calls, opens minds, reveals Jesus, gives repentance, sanctifies and justifies “all in the name of Jesus Christ.” Peter’s salutation reveals it. (1Peter 1:1-2; From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad (in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ’s blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!) Each believing IN follower of Jesus, is chosen and foreknown by God the Father, set apart for obedience. Genuine Believers IN have an inheritance, are protected and grow through trials. Revealed in these latter days!

(1Pet 1:3-9; Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you, who by God’s power are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (6) This brings you great joy, although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials. Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold – gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away – and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. (8) You have not seen Him, but you love Him. You do not see Him now but you believe IN Him, and so you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, because you are attaining the goal of your faith – the salvation of your souls.” (Meditate on what the new birth accomplishes in individual minds.)

(1Pet 1:10-12; Concerning this salvation, the prophets who predicted the grace that would come to you searched and investigated carefully. They probed into what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating when He testified beforehand about the sufferings appointed for Christ and His subsequent glory. (12) They were shown that they were serving not themselves but you, in regard to the things now announced to you through those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven – things angels long to catch a glimpse of.”) (Consider Jesus’ parable about the last becoming first.) NOW JESUS CAPS OFF PREKNOWN SALVATION through His apostle John.

(1John 5:18-21; “We know that everyone fathered by God does not sin, but God protects the one He has fathered, and the evil one cannot touch him. We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. (20) And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us insight to know Him who is true, and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life. Little children, guard yourselves from idols.”)

How awesome to know, “we’re God’s literal Children.” Jesus REVEALED the same principles to John, Moses and Paul. (Lets repeat and review.)

(Rev 21:5-8; “And the one seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new!” Then He said to me, “Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.” He also said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of LIFE. The one who conquers “overcomes” will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My Son. (8) But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the SECOND DEATH.”) The many denominational minded condone things that are detestable to our coming King. Paul explains how the spirit of truth in him set him free.

(1Cor 6:12; “All things are lawful for me, but not everything is beneficial. ‘All things are lawful for me, but I will not be controlled by anything.”) Recognizing his maturity in Christ, Paul‘s mindset, - his being, - his actions” were dictated by his love of God’s Way.

(Paul was mindful that folks are controlled by their internal belief system.) Yielding to worldly traditions control the many denominations and believing in denomination controls the many. Many like the Atheist are controlled by irrational human instinct. We don’t profess to understand all these things, but “if God’s gifted holy spirit of truth isn’t gifted - revealed we’re lost.” God’s holy spirit of truth makes genuine followers of Jesus understand they’re bond servants to Jesus and “the only true freedom that exist.”

(1Cor 6:13-14; “Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.” The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. Now God indeed raised the Lord and He will raise us by His power.”)

God’s new covenant is with His predestined called to Believe IN people, “a people born from above.” God’s fathering makes individuals atOne and His literal Children. Heir with Abraham. (See Galatians 3:29)

(1Cor 6:15-17; “Do you not know that your bodies are MEMBERS of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! Or do you NOT know that anyone who is united with a prostitute is one body with her? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” (17) But the one united with the Lord is ONE spirit with Him.”) (Consider the parallels of physical adultery and spiritual adultery.)

God’s imputed spirit makes Believers IN, “AT ONE with Himself!” It’s the spiritual connection to God’s physical and spiritual law of oneness. (A Believer IN who turns from his first love of God’s Way, to follow another commits spiritual adultery.) God’s church is an accumulation of Believers IN, “the bride of Christ.” We’re likened as one flesh, One spirit, one mind with Christ Jesus! May we strive to be loyal and holy because He is.

(1Cor 6:18-20; Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin a person commits is outside of the body – but the immoral person sins against his own body.” Or do you NOT know that your body is the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are NOT your own? For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.”)

THAT PRICE? Jesus’ shed blood and suffering. It’s why He had Moses write that the Israelites must be separate and “not put markings on their flesh as the gentiles.” It’s why Jesus inspired Moses to write about clean and unclean foods for His people. (We need to understand, God does the sanctifying, “He sets apart His people to be peculiar” different from the world; even separate as He had Abraham be.

According to God’s holy scriptures, everyone that comes to the Son of God, “believing IN Him as He manifested Himself to be, will be saved.” Believing IN Him is to yield obediently to His Word. Including words revealed to His apostles, who put them to practice. Know His Word will be our judge.

(Luke 6:46-48; “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do what I tell you?” “Everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words and puts them into practice – I will show you what he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep, and laid the foundation on bedrock.”)

God knows each person’s deeds, “it’s He that gives the desire, effort and sincerity of mind to be obedient.” He knows our attitudes, the degree of love we have for one another and this world’s system of things. He gives spiritual understanding to His chosen and allows the many to remain spiritually blind until a time of His Choosing. When, where and how is God’s prerogative. Many will be led to turn, “repent” during Jesus’ millennial reign.

Populations at large don’t realize God’s purpose in allowing Satan to be the god of this age. Satan’s objective is to deceive and manifest himself as an angel of light. Thus the many denominations. Speaking of Satan and deceived teachers, Jesus inspired Paul’s writing.

(2Corinthians 11:13-15; “For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.”)

When we consider the many self righteous denominational minded teachers, who’re quick to offer prayer to their imagined gods; “we should grasp the degree of Satan’s successes.” Next study we intend to explore our Lord’s brother, Jude’s inspiration in sharing his revelations regarding the unfolding apostasy he saw taking place..

God knows each person’s deeds and it’s He that’ll give the desire “the sincerity of mind to be obedient.” He knows our attitudes, the degree of love we have for one another and this world’s system of things. He gives spiritual understanding to His chosen and allows the many to remain spiritually blind until a time of His Choosing. When, where and how is God’s prerogative. When we consider the many self righteous denominational minded teachers, who’re quick to offer prayer to their imagined gods; “we grasp the degree of Satan’s successes.” Our Lord’s brother, “Jude” saw these deception unfolding and reveals their reason.

Jude isn’t talking about people verbally speaking a denial. (Jesus is denied when people don’t obey and practice living His prescribed Way.) When people condone practices honoring the same imaginary gods of the people whose lands God gave the Israelites.

Jesus’ apostles were initially expecting His return in their life time would be to set up His kingdom, “not start His church.” Jesus knew His church would be infiltrated by unbelievers attempting to change, “believing IN by grace” to a manufactured methodology. Method’s of works is what Paul was delivered from. That false narrative that anyone could receive salvation at a time of their choosing. Jesus knew persecutions from Israelites, gentiles and governments would be Satan’s tools. His followers warring among themselves also “made Jesus’ prophesies at Matthew 24:, seem to be coming soon.”

By the time of Jesus’ revelations to John, “it was obvious that His message and His deity would be twisted beyond recognition to this materialistic world.” Revealing that false religions would deceive the whole world before His return. From the content of Paul’s letters we see, “people were asking him about their problems dealing with the frustrations of the times.” Conditions in Greece and around Corinth were bad and false teachers were confusing and leading some from “The Way to which they were called.”

Paul understood sexual immortality’s pulls on the flesh.

In verse 26 of this chapter, Paul makes his reasoning clear. “Because of the impending crisis, I think it best for you to remain as you are.” Apparently Paul never married, but he understood relationships from God’s View. The reason Paul gives is. “so you may devote yourselves to prayer.”

Mockeries of Truth, chapter 12

Thursday, July 18th, 2019

7/18/19, God’s 4th month, 15th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

Satan’s deceptions regarding salvation is anything but truth. Of those using Jesus’ name, there’re those who think babies can be baptized and receive salvation. Many others assume a person can make a stated testimony of belief and practice certain methods “produces the assurances needed.” Others think to speak in an unknown language is proof of God’s gifted spirit. (Those who don’t profess Jesus also have many varied opinions of an after life.) All based on demonic inspired fleshly opinions and various works. Jesus said; “many are called and few chosen.” (See Matt 20:16 & 22:14.) Additionally Jesus said, “God chooses” and He had His apostle Paul write a conformation.

(1Corinthins 1:26-31; Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. (27) But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, (29) so that no one can boast in His presence. He  ‘God the Father’ is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”) (Quote from Jeremiah 9:24.)

God the Father doesn’t rely on fleshly works -or conduct about anything, “He knew us before the foundation of the world” and He gifts the called with the spirit of obedience in the same way and category He put faithful Abraham in. The Hebrews writer was inspired to explain Abraham and his heirs’ inheritance. Faithful obedience the key.

(Hebrews 11:8-10; “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, and he went out without understanding where he was going. By faith he lived as a foreigner in the promised land as though it were a foreign country, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, who were fellow heirs of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with firm foundations, whose architect and builder is God.”) Today’s called out Christians “followers of Jesus” are spiritual Israelites, heirs with faithful Abraham and Jesus inspired Paul’s understanding and reveals to Believers IN.

(Galatians 3:26-29; “For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, is neither male nor female – for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. (29) And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.”)

It can’t be overstated, “the many are believers that” “the few are believers IN” and He leads the called to prayerfully meditate on His words, commandments and oracles, which when gifted, is spiritual insight regarding His truth. Consider the huge chasm between “believing IN” and “believing THAT.” (Believing IN God is to know through gifted faith that “He’s Re-creator, Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, and is our Mediator before God the Father.” Believers IN understand that His Way is absolute and our belief IN is demonstrated by our practices. Believers that are condoners of many practices, with the mindset “we’re all trying to get to the same place.” Normally they don’t think of God as being absolute. Peter teaches that Jesus’ followers are gifted with a desire to obey and pursue His righteous living.

(1Peter 5:5-11; “In the same way, you ‘followers of Jesus’ who are younger, be subject to the elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under His mighty hand by casting all your cares on Him because He cares for you. Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour. Resist him, strong in your faith, because you know that your brothers and sisters throughout the world are enduring the same kinds of suffering. And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To Him belongs the power forever. Amen.”) Faithful, believing IN Abraham knew God could resurrect Isaac, knew God would deliver on all His promises. Abraham and his descendents are yet going to be delivered to and gifted with the promised lands permanently and lead the world.

Jesus gives His faith.

After miraculously feeding thousands, many believed IN Jesus because of the miracle. Later when the people looked for Jesus, He said; “you look for Me because you ate all the bread you wanted.” Then He added. (John 6“27-31; “Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life – the food which the Son of Man will give to you.) For God the Father has put His seal of approval on Him.” So then they said to Him, “What must we do to accomplish the deeds God requires?” Jesus replied, “This is the deed God requires – to believe IN the One whom He sent.” So they said to Jesus, “Then what miraculous sign will You perform, so that we may see it and believe You? What will you do? Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”) (A quotation from Ps 78:24 referring to the events of Exodus 16:4-36)

Bread from heaven foreshadowed God’s imputing His spirit to Believers IN. Food caused people to, “believe THAT” for a time, but didn’t change anyone’s internal nature. God’s gift of, “faithfully believing IN” is a belief IN that makes it’s recipients’ desire and love His Way. This good news offends denominational minded theologians. Hopefully many who are offended now, will repent when Jesus opens their minds. Denominational minded speak of there being a large revival before Jesus’ return that‘ll change many. Seriously studying Jesus’ words at Matthew 24: teach that the whole world will be taught His Ways, “when He returns and Satan is bound.”

In a previous studies we’ve reviewed Paul’s instructions regarding dealings with people “who turn from The Way.” Sharing the seven doctrines God’s churches are obligated to “teach and practice from Hebrews 6:.” The world doesn’t heed Jesus’ inspired words and rejects the notion that He inspired Moses’ writing. It isn’t revealed to the world that Jesus is the Lord of Moses, our Creator and coming King of Kings the One who gave Moses the ten commandments. Jesus inspired Moses to write. (See John 1:1-5, Colossians 1:15-20 and Hebrews 1:)

(Deut 12:32- 13:5; “You must be careful to do everything I am commanding you. Do not add to it or subtract from it! (13:1) Suppose a prophet or one who foretells by dreams should appear among you and show you a sign or wonder, and the sign or wonder should come to pass concerning what he said to you, NAMELY, “Let us follow other gods” – gods whom you have not previously known – “and let us serve them.” (3) You must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer, for the Lord your God will be TESTING you to see if you LOVE Him with all your mind and being. (You must follow the Lord your God and revere only Him; and you must observe His commandments, obey Him, serve Him, and remain loyal to Him.) (13:5) As for that prophet or dreamer, he must be executed because he encouraged rebellion against the Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, redeeming you from that place of slavery, and because he has tried to entice you from The Way the Lord your God has commanded you to go. In this way you must purge out evil from within.”) Note this is the same principle Jesus had Paul write to the Corinthian church regarding shunning those who’d not stay true to The Way.

The same Jesus inspiring Moses inspired Paul! In the millennium and at a judgment time of God’s choosing, “all unrepentant persons will die a SECOND DEATH.” (See Revelations 2:11, 20:6, 20:14 & (21:8; “The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers “overcomes” will in no way be harmed by the second death.”) Jesus’ apostle Paul taught the same.

(1Cor 6:1-8; “When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the Saints? Or do you not know that the Saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you not competent to settle trivial suits? (3) Do you not know that we will judge angels? Why not ordinary matters! So if you have ordinary lawsuits, do you appoint as judges those who have no standing in the church? I say this to your shame! Is there no one among you wise enough to settle disputes between fellow Christians? Instead, does a Christian sue a Christian, and do this before unbelievers? (7) The fact that you have lawsuits among yourselves demonstrates that you have already been defeated. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? But you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do this to your brothers and sisters!”)

Judge the world? This text and many others reveal that at Jesus’ return, the dead in Christ will be resurrected and rule with Jesus. Christians are to be like Jesus. It isn’t likely that God’s angels will need to be judged. The point is, “resurrected Saints will be as Jesus is.” When Christians take matters to outsiders, they’re immature.

There’s ONE Church of God identified by those who are “born from above.” Jesus’ good news messages taught through Paul have little semblance to what’s taught by denominational minded theologians. Believers IN, who overcome to the end will be serving Jesus and ruling with Him during His millennial reign. There’ll be no division!

Who in their wildest imagination could think divided denominations could bring about a saving revival to God’s Way in this age? Believers IN, are praying that Jesus’ kingdom soon come. (One of Jesus’ promises is; “for the Elect’s sake this age will be shortened.”)

(See Matthew 24:) This world’s religious unbelievers love this world’s system of things. Governments will actually fight against Jesus, His angels and Saints but His master plan will prevail!

(1Cor 6:9-11; “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. (11) Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”) Jesus gave almost the same words to His apostle John at Revelations 21:8.

Mockeries of Truth, chapter 11

Tuesday, July 16th, 2019

7/16/19, God’s 4th month, 13th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

Divided Christendom teaches a “believe and be saved doctrine” and a “submit to particular methodologies and be saved.” But not Jesus. (Matt 7:21-23; “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven – only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven. On that day, many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name and in Your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?’ (23) Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Go away from Me, you lawbreakers!’

(Matt 7:24-27; “Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them is like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the flood came, and the winds beat against that house, but it did not collapse because it had been founded on rock. (26) Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain fell, the flood came, and the winds beat against that house, and it collapsed; it was utterly destroyed!””

(Matt 7:28-29; When Jesus finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed by His teaching, because He taught them like One who had authority, not like their experts in the law.”) He had authority, “it was He that gave Moses the ten commandments for the people’s good. He gave the oracles regarding crop rotation and allowing land rest.

(John 20:30-31; “Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have “eternal” life in His name.”)

God’s miraculously revealing Himself and His Son, makes the need for signs and miracles unnecessary for Believers IN, “we to whom He’s revealed.”

(Matt 16:4; “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah. Then He left them and went away.”) Jesus’ resurrection after three days and three nights in the tomb, “as was Jonah in the big fish‘s belly” is the only sign Believers IN Him are likely to get.

Apostles, evangelist, pastors and deacons in Paul’s age had to contend with people’s slackness regarding “believing IN through faith and overcoming their fleshly nature through that belief.” Believers IN, overcoming temptations and the self serving get way through believing IN faith. Followers of Jesus have responsibility to shun people who turn from the faith.

When membership is for the sake of numerical growth becomes the norm, “churches are no more than social clubs.” This became a problem in the “Corinth Church of God” and is recorded for our learning. Let’s understand Paul’s concern.

(1Cor 5:1-2; “It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife. (2) And you are proud! Shouldn’t you have been deeply sorrowful instead and removed the one who did this from among you?”)

The Corinth leadership lost purity concerns in the assembly. Shunning someone shouldn’t be done sneakily. When a person slips from God’s Way, “that one must be counseled and if a turning back isn’t evident, “then the assembly must shun to keep purity.” Paul sent Timothy as “Jesus’ and his ambassador to guide the churches.”

(1Timothy 3:1-5; “This saying is trustworthy: “If someone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a good work.” The overseer then must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher, not a drunkard, not violent, but gentle, not contentious, free from the love of money. He must manage his own household well and keep his children in control without losing his dignity. But if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for the church of God? (One teaching in any capacity make themselves an Overseer.)

(1Tim 3:6-11; “ He must not be a recent convert or he may become arrogant and fall into the punishment that the devil will exact. And he must be well thought of by those outside the faith, so that he may not fall into disgrace and be caught by the devil’s trap. (8) Deacons likewise must be dignified, not two-faced, not given to excessive drinking, not greedy for gain, holding to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. And these also must be tested first and then let them serve as deacons if they are found blameless. Likewise also their wives must be dignified, not slanderous, temperate, faithful in every respect.”

(1Tim 3:12-18; Deacons must be husbands of one wife and good managers of their children and their own households. For those who have served well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and great boldness in the faith that is in Christ Jesus. I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions to you in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct themselves in the household of God, because it is the “church of the living God” the support and bulwark of the truth. (16) And we all agree our religion contains amazing revelation: JESUS was revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.”)

These truths are revealed to God’s chosen. The principle is to turn from the way that seems right to our fleshly nature and “to God’s Revealed Truth Way as revealed to Paul.”

Jesus was keeping the seventh of seven annual Sabbaths

when John recorded His words.

“The Greatest Day or The Last Great Day” foreshadows judgment. Jesus was observing this Greatest Day when He taught the following before His resurrection and ascension.

(John 7:37-39; “On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me, and let the one who believes IN Me drink. Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him will flow rivers of living water.’” (Now He said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.) By this we’re confident that John wrote before Pentecost.

Believers IN yield to Jesus’ words and “drink in prayerfully while studying His Word.”

Remember how Jesus’ apostle Paul was moved from darkness to His Light, when in route to Damascus for the purpose of persecuting Jesus’ followers.

Paul continues teaching shunning those not true to The Faith.

(1Corinthians 5:3-5; “For even though I am absent physically, I am present in spirit. And I have already judged the one who did this, just as though I were present. When you gather together in the name of our Lord Jesus, and I am with you in spirit, along with the power of our Lord Jesus, (5) turn this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.”)

Hard to comprehend? What can we assume? This one who was co-habiting unlawfully had believed IN Jesus but became weak in the flesh. Paul apparently believed he had been saved when he believed IN and turned. Paul is apparently saying “let Satan have and destroy him, God is able to raise him up and yet grant repentance.”

Paul is speaking of Judgment as foreshadowed by God’s seventh of seven annual Sabbaths. What’s lawless in God’s View should not be condoned in “The Church of God.” We need to know the evil, destructive and divisionary intent of the devil. He desires to cause people trouble in the flesh and a final destruction. (Paul is displaying his opinion, that this individual knew God’s truth, had once repented, “turned back and needed to be made ashamed.”) Obviously Paul is writing before or during the Passover season “Feast of Unleavened Bread.” He writes; “let us celebrate the festival.”

(1Cor 5:6-8; “Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough? (7) Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch of dough – you are, in fact, without yeast. For Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed. So then, let us celebrate the festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of vice and evil, but with the bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.”)

Paul taught the benefit of knowing God’s holy seasons’ purposes. The festival of unleavened bread was for the purpose of demonstrating the need to put sin away individually and “as an assembly of believers.” (Leavening is a puffing up agent, so here Paul uses it as a metaphor or to personify sin.) (The lesson! “even when people physically attempt to get all leavening ‘sin’ out, “it’s likely some fleshly weakness is overlooked” likewise when we spiritually examine ourselves in Jesus’ Light carefully.)

There’s no substitution for Passover, “Jesus is our Passover.” We may not need to physically remove leavening in order to examine our spiritual lives, but we do need to celebrate times God made holy for His people. Followers of Jesus see the need to spiritually examine themselves in His Light and Sabbaths are in part set aside for that purpose.

We’re known by the friends we keep.

(1Cor 5:9-13; “I wrote you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people. In no way did I mean the immoral people of this world, or the greedy and swindlers and idolaters, since you would then have to go out of the world. (11) But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who calls himself a Christian who is sexually immoral, or greedy, or an idolater, or verbally abusive, or a drunkard, or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person. (12) For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Are you not to judge those inside? But God will judge those outside. Remove the evil person from among you.”)

THIS isn’t an old command for the apostolic era churches. Seven times to seven churches by name, Jesus reveals His standards for the churches. Let‘s consider Jesus’ revelations to John and Christians.

(Revelations 2:1-7; “To the angel of the church in Ephesus, write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who has a firm grasp on the seven stars in His right hand – the One who walks among the seven golden lamp stands: ‘I know your works as well as your labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil. You have even put to the test those who refer to themselves as apostles (but are not), and have discovered that they are false. I am also aware that you have persisted steadfastly, endured much for the sake of My name, and have not grown weary. But I have this against you: You have departed from your first love! Therefore, remember from what high state you have fallen and repent! DO the deeds you did at the first; if not, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place – that is, if you do not repent. But you do have this going for you: You hate what the Nicolaitans practice – practices I also hate. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will permit him to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.’

Compare with Jesus’ message to the “Church of God at Smyrnas.” (Revelations 2:8-11; (These are promised they‘ll not by harmed by the SECOND DEATH.)

Compare with Jesus’ message to “His Church in Pergamum. (Revelations 2:12-17; “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who has the sharp double-edged sword: ‘I know where you live – where Satan’s THRONE is. Yet you continue to cling to My name and you have not denied your faith in Me, even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness, who was killed in your city where Satan lives. But I have a few things against you: You have some people there who follow the teaching of Balaam, who instructed Balak to put a stumbling block before the people of Israel so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. In the same way, there are also some among you who follow the teaching of the Nicolatians. Therefore, repent! If not, I will come against you quickly and make war against those people with the sword of My mouth. The one who has an ear had better hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, “overcomes” I will give him some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on that stone will be written a new name that no one can understand except the one who receives it.’

Compare with (Revelations 2:18- “To the angel of “the Church in THYATIRA.” Study the whole.

Compare with (Revelations 3:1-6; “To the angel of The Church in SARDIS write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars: ‘I know your deeds, that you have a reputation that you are alive, but in reality you are dead.” Study the whole.

Compare with (Revelations 3:7-13; “To the angel of “the Church in PHILIDEPHIA” write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the Holy One, the True One, who holds the key of David, who opens doors no one can shut, and shuts doors no one can open: ‘I know your deeds. Study the whole.

Compare with (Revelations 3:14- “To the angel of the church in LAODICEA write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ORIGINATOR of God’s creation. (Study the whole and review (John 1:1-5 & Colossians 1:15-20) We don’t think Paul was privileged to see Jesus’ revelations to John before his death. In some areas we’re perhaps more privileged than was Paul.

Mockeries of Truth, chapter 10

Sunday, July 14th, 2019

7/14/19, God’s 4th month, 11th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

Today’s Christendom groups are less spiritual than God’s church at Corinth Greece in Paul’s day. We have the divided pulls of Orthodox and Roman Catholicism, fifty or more Protestant groups, Judaism, Hinduism, Moslem and others, attempting to compete with Jesus’ Good News about the Kingdom of God. Around Corinth and Ephesus particularly it was in large part followers of the Goddess Dianna “like the silversmith of Ephesus making shrines to Artemis.” (See Acts 19:) Like pagans, law keeping Judaism and imposters competing with Jesus’ Good News about the Kingdom of God. Today’s divided Christendom groups aren’t ready for solid spiritual food  because they’re fleshy and Jesus hasn’t called nor open their minds to understand the spirituality of His Way.

(1Cor 3:1-4; “So, brothers and sisters, I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready. In fact, you are still not ready, for you are still influenced by the flesh. For since there is still jealousy and dissension among you, are you not influenced by the flesh and behaving like unregenerate people? (4) For whenever someone says, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” “are you not merely human?”)

Fleshly naïve people are merely humans looking to personalities rather than seeking truth and proving Jesus’ message. Born from above “Believers IN people” aren‘t merely human but alive in Jesus’ way. They walk as believers IN and practice obedience out of gifted love of God.

(1 Cor 3:5-10; “What is Apollos really? Or what is Paul? Servants through whom you came to believe and each of us in the ministry the Lord gave us. I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow. So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth. (8) The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, but each will receive his reward according to his work. We. “apostles” are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building. (10) According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds.”)

Only with the truth, “can one build a church of God.” Personality and charisma without truth “only builds a fleshly social club” not a “God’s View Assembly.” Fleshly minded people aren’t careful how they build, “they only want to lord over an increasing number of people.” They want to boast of their accomplishments. This nature in mankind causes denominationalist to boast about their church, their faith. their membership and their salvation.

Spiritual peace is only through The Light, “Jesus.” People believing IN Jesus’ message are His Elect and only “if possible can they be deceived.” (See Matthew 24:22, 24 & 31.)

(Ephesians 2:17-22; “And He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near, so that through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer foreigners and non-citizens, but you ’gentiles’ are fellow citizens with the Saints and members of God’s household, because you, “followers of Jesus” have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. In Him the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”)

Paul taught the Corinthians the same message Jesus taught the Israelites. We called out Believers IN are individually temples of God, “in the spirit.”

(1 Cor 3:11-15; “For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, each builder’s work will be plainly seen, for the Day will make it clear, because it will be revealed by fire. And the fire will test what kind of work each has done. If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward. (15) If someone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as through fire.”) (In an attempt to clarify the referent, some translations add “of Christ” after “Day”; others specify this as “judgment day” or “the day of judgment.” The Day refers to the Day of the Lord Jesus Christ, when each Christian worker will appear before Christ for evaluation of his life ministry.

This world’s fleshly, instinctive minded teachers are blinded to the fact that many will be saved during Jesus’ millennial reign! Many will become Believers IN Jesus’ truth only when it’s revealed to them. Paul’s constant motivation, as ours should be, “is to be pleasing the Lord in that day” and receive his commendation. See 2Cor 5:9-10 & 1Cor 4:5).

(1Cor 3:16-17; “Do you, “Christians” not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If someone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are.”)

It’s the mystery not understood by a majority of professing Christians. Unless God’s spirit lives in us; we are not Christ Like. Getting people to think in this regard is a problem, “because of the demonic influences of this world’s system of things.” This world Christendom’s influence. People gifted to Believe IN Jesus’ truth, “desire to live it.” The holy spirit in us does not make us do, “but gives us the desire and effort to be like Jesus.” (See Philippians 2:13)

If not careful, “we individually may become like those Believers in the Corinth Church of God who could only handle milk of the message. Jesus’ apostles taught us the things we need to guard against.

(1Cor 3:18-23; “Guard against self-deception, each of you. If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise. For the wisdom of this age is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about mere mortals! For everything belongs to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.”)

Many people calling themselves Christian are mere denominationalist boasting about their favorite teacher, etc.

(1Cor 4:1-5; “One should think about us, “we apostles” this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Now what is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful. So for me, it is a minor matter that I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not acquitted because of this. The one who judges me is the Lord. So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition from God.”)

Attempting to examine oneself in Jesus’ light isn’t judging. May we realize that God knows us better than we can know ourselves. Thus only He can judge us righteously.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread Principle.

(1Cor 4-6-13; “I have applied these things to myself and Apollos because of you, brothers and sisters, so that through us you may learn “not to go beyond what is written,” so that none of you will be puffed up in favor of the one against the other. For who concedes you any superiority? What do you have that you did not receive? (As gifted.) And if you received it, why do you boast as though you did not? Already you are satisfied! Already you are rich! You have become kings without us! I wish you had become kings so that we could reign with you! For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to die, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to people. (10) We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, we are dishonored! To the present hour we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and without a roof over our heads. We do hard work, toiling with our own hands. When we are verbally abused, we respond with a blessing, when persecuted, we endure, when people lie about us, we answer in a friendly manner. We are the world’s dirt and scum, even now.

Warns as a father.

(1Cor 4:14-21; “I am not writing these things to shame you, but to correct you as my dear children. For though you may have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, because I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. I encourage you, then, be imitators of me. For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and faithful son in the Lord. He will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church. Some have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you soon, if the Lord is willing, and I will find out not only the talk of these arrogant people, but also their power. (20) For the kingdom of God is demonstrated not in idle talk but with power. What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline or with love and a spirit of gentleness?)

Jesus’ apostles taught the churches to lovingly and prayerfully shun those who turned from the faith, so they would repent. After God the Father and God the Son are revealed, a turning to Jesus’ righteous practices and from things that are lawless in God’s View is desired. Acknowledgment of A Belief IN Jesus is essential. Unbelievers do attempt to deceive congregations, “they’re usually a person with credentials desiring to lord over and twist Jesus’ good news.” Paul’s message reminds Believers how they first became believed IN, “how they were gifted with desire and effort to understand through their hearing and be spiritually led to practice love as defined by God..

Jesus’ good news went out with power and tangible miracles, establishing that He is Re-Creator, Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Lord of Lords and our Mediator. He’s The One through whom is eternal life, “through whom is the inheritance and whose promises are sure.” His doing instantaneous healings, Re-Creating fish and bread feeding thousands, resurrecting Lazarus and doing like miracles through His apostles, “partially fulfills the prophecies He inspired the prophets to write about.” Final fulfillments will be during His millennial kingdom. Jesus’ first recorded miracle, “turning water to aged wine established Him as Re-Creator.” Jesus said; “Blessed are the people who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29.)

Indication being that, “we’d not always see instantaneous healings etc.” A lesson for us is that Jesus’ apostle Thomas was slow to believe IN Jesus’ resurrection, “we have the written account of when Thomas first saw the resurrected Jesus at John 20:24-29.” After seeing and feeling Jesus, Thomas said; “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are the people who have not seen and yet have believed.” These things are recorded, in part, so we may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing IN we may inherit “eternal” life through Him.

Mockeries of Truth, chapter 9

7/10/19, God’s 4th month, 7th day of Tamuz, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son.  “Heirs with Abraham.

We observers of Sabbaths, “the seventh day and the seven annuals” catch flack from and in many cases persecution for doing so. Some accuse us of attempting to gain salvation by works, but it’s they who maintain that, “there’s a method by which people can be saved.” Jesus, His apostles and we Believers IN emphatically teach that God does the calling and fathering.

Encouragement to the Persecuted.

(2Thessalonians 1:5-12; “This is evidence of God’s righteous judgment, to make you worthy of the kingdom of God, for which in fact you are suffering. For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you and to you who are being afflicted to give rest together with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels. With flaming fire He will mete out punishment on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His strength, when He comes to be glorified among His Saints and admired on that day among all who have believed – and you did in fact believe our testimony. And in this regard we pray for you always, that our God will make you worthy of His calling and fulfill by His power your every desire for goodness and every work of faith, that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.”)

We teach and believe we followers of Jesus are transformed from our previous fleshly mindset to Jesus’ spiritual thinking. (Ephesians 2:4-10; But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! and He ‘God the Father’ raised us up with Him ‘Jesus’ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, (WHY?) (7) to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (8) For by grace you are saved through ‘Jesus’’ faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we  ‘Believers IN’ are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.”) (Prayerfully study the rest of Ephesians.)

Jesus knew He’s be rejected by law worshiping Israelites and

it was preplanned that He’d send some apostles to the Gentiles.

(John 1:11-13; He, “Jesus” came to what was His own, but His own people did not receive Him. But to all who have received Him – those who believe IN His name – He has given the right to become God’s children – “children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husband’s decision, but by God.”) (Know this: “if we believe IN, God gave it.”)

Heavenly Father: please give all truth seekers a zeal to study prayerfully, give Your desire and effort to practice Your Way. May we prayerfully yield to the mind of Jesus as we pray that our kingdom soon be established on earth. In the nature of Jesus we ask. AMEN

When given the desire, effort and opportunity to study the Holy Scriptures, contemplate on God’s Way and the result of failing to do so. We may be asked why we didn’t on that judgment day? Methodology thinkers don’t realize that Satan is the god this world’s system of things, thus they succumb to demonic thinking, “surely God will honor what seems right to me.”

Attempting to be providers,” governments play god to their populations.” Not far removed from the old Egyptian ruling Pharaohs who acted as gods too. For the most part, bureaucratic governments and educational leaders aren’t led to believe IN and so, have no or little regard for our Creator and His Ways. How so you may ask? They play into a system of bureaucrats scratching bureaucrats backs to keep support of the naive. Keeping status quo’s in place, at the expense of tax payers. They make particular educational degree requirements for various vocations etc. Methodology thinking religions mimic this same bureaucratic thinking. “A love of money” is the foundational error that keeps societies condoning bureaucrats making merchandise of them. Once in place, it’s almost impossible for societies to rid themselves of such bureaucratic enslavement.

The holy scriptures teach us that it’s natural for unbelievers to desire a king and them too desire lordship over others. This nature caused Israel to reject God through Samuel and God’s churches yield to deceivers during the apostolic era. True to Jesus’ predictions, this became more prevalent after His apostles died. (Wolves in sheep clothing came in, disrupted people’s thinking and kicked true Believers out.”) Followers of Jesus had to scatter to avoid persecution and for the most part, we’ll be scattered until Jesus returns. The apostle Paul was careful to distinguish himself from false apostles. May we take notice again.

(1Cor 2:1-5; “When I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come with superior eloquence or wisdom as I proclaimed the testimony of God. For I decided to be concerned about nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and with much trembling. (4) My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.”) (Human educational certificates from so called higher learning is what’s worshiped today.)

God’s spiritual power gives life, open minds and defeats the devil through Jesus. When false teachers intruded and spoke of heritages, education and such, “Paul did defend his own human credentials.” Despots likened to the Pharaoh’s exerted themselves and caused confusion, then persecutors forcefully took the lead and falsely accused Christ Like people. Consider Paul’s summation to the Hebrews about the combination of Jesus’ faith and the persecutions of Believers IN, from the time of Gideon, to and through the apostolic era.

(Hebrews 11:32-40; “And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David, Samuel and the prophets. Through faith they conquered kingdoms, administered justice, gained what was promised, shut the mouths of lions, quenched raging fire, escaped the edge of the sword, gained strength in weakness, became mighty in battle, put foreign armies to flight, and women received back their dead raised to life. But others were tortured, NOT accepting release, to obtain RESURECTION to a better life. And others experienced mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, sawed apart, murdered with the sword; they went about in sheepskins and goatskins; they were destitute, afflicted, ill-treated (38) (the world was not worthy of them); they wandered in deserts and mountains and caves and openings in the earth. And these all were commended for their faith, yet they did not receive what was promised. For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us.”)

Persecuting accusations used against Christians by unbelievers “was an accusation that Jesus was not miraculously conceived.” They couldn’t fathom Jesus being the only Son of God. Unbelievers held to a “three in one god doctrine” from paganism. Followers of Jesus “believing IN God the Father and God the Son” were expelled for not accepting their three in one doctrine. Soon these same persecutors began praying to Jesus’ mother, made imaginary statues with haloes and began honoring what God said was abominations to Him.

(1Cor 2:6-7; “Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing. Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory.”)

Revealed knowledge worldly religions not grasping the awesomeness of revelations. Determining things before the ages and the glory of God’s calling “His chosen!” God’s putting His spirit in minds of chosen individuals. Remember, “His wisdom is purposely hidden from this world’s unbelievers.”

(1Cor 2:8-9; “None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But just as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love Him.”)

The Holy Scriptures recognize Jesus as the prophesied Messiah, Savior, the Son of God, Re-Creator, Creator, Deliverer, Mediator and coming King of Kings. The rich and folks in high positions, are for the most part purposely blinded, regarding Jesus’ personage.

(1Cor 2:10-16; “God has revealed these things to “the called” by His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God, “within him.” Now we “Believers IN” have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God. (13) And we speak about these things, not with words taught US by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. The unbeliever doesn’t receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one. (16) For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise him? But we “Christians” have the mind of Christ.”)

Remember PAUL is writing with authority, from our Creator. Christians are folks “born from above” “fathered by God.” We Believers IN, “are gifted with” the mind of Christ. Gifted with a mindset desiring to be lovingly obedient and overcome to the end! JESUS knows our situation. He came, “lived in the flesh to experienced humanity.” Paul taught the Hebrews, that Jesus learned obedience through things He suffered.

(Hebrews 5:7-10; “During His earthly life Christ offered both requests and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the One who was able to save Him from death and He was heard because of His devotion. Although He was a Son, He learned obedience through the things He suffered. And by being perfected in this way, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, and He was designated by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek.”)

Should we who’re “born from above” NOT have to learn from things we suffer? Should we not experience growing as did Jesus? The holy spirit of truth leads us to be alert to revelations, “things happening to and around us and “be led to practice obedience.” The people in God’s church at Corinth didn’t grow as Paul expected. Fleshly influences took their toll. Some didn’t stay true to Paul’s spiritual teaching. Unbelievers secretly slipped in. These things are written for our learning.
