Universe, Earth and we chosen are for God’s purpose; chapter 3

Monday, September 30th, 2019

9/30/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 30, 5,779 until sunset.

To: People desiring to be atOne with God the Father, God the Son and Heir with Abraham.

God and His sanctified people’s fourth annual Sabbath begins today at sunset. Trumpets looks to the first and spiritual resurrection. (See Numbers 29:1; ‘On the first day of the seventh month, you are to hold a holy assembly. You must not do your ordinary work, for it is a day of blowing trumpets for you.”) Not for the world, but you chosen believers In. See Leviticus 23: for summations. God didn’t give the ten commandments to the Egyptians, Aztecs or any other people. He only gave His Oracles and calendar to Jacob’s descendents. Remember Jacob was chosen over his twin brother before birth for God’s purpose.

God is purposely allowing today’s world to be likened to Babylon,  because the world chose Satan’s get way. Jesus revealed the end of his Babylon style rule to John.

(Revelations 18:1-3; “After these things I saw another angel, who possessed great authority, coming down out of heaven, and the earth was lit up by his radiance. He shouted with a powerful voice: “Fallen, fallen, is Babylon the great! She has become a lair for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detested beast. (3) For all the nations have fallen from the wine of her immoral passion, and the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have gotten rich from the power of her sensual behavior.”

(Rev 18:4-7; “Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, My people, so you will not take part in her sins and so you will not receive her plagues, because her sins have piled up all the way to heaven and God has remembered her crimes. Repay her the same way she repaid others; pay her back double corresponding to her deeds. In the cup she mixed, mix double the amount for her. As much as she exalted herself and lived in sensual luxury, to this extent give her torment and grief because she said to herself, ‘I rule as queen and am no widow; I will never experience grief!’) (He’s speaking about ideologies life practices and the lack of love. Are more explanations and examples needed?)

(Rev 18:8-13; “For this reason, she will experience her plagues in a single day: disease, mourning, and famine, and she will be burned down with fire, because the Lord God who judges her is powerful!” Then the kings of the earth who committed immoral acts with her and lived in sensual luxury with her will weep and wail for her when they see the smoke from the fire that burns her up. They will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment, and will say, “Woe, woe, O great city, Babylon the powerful city! For in a single hour your doom has come!” (11) Then the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her because no one buys their cargo any longer — cargo such as gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all sorts of things made of citron wood, all sorts of objects made of ivory, all sorts of things made of expensive wood, bronze, iron and marble, cinnamon, spice, incense, perfumed ointment, frankincense, wine, olive oil and costly flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and four-wheeled carriages, slaves and human lives.”

(Rev 18:14-18; (The ripe fruit you greatly desired has gone from you, and all your luxury and splendor have gone from you — they will never ever be found again!) The merchants who sold these things, who got rich from her, ’Babylon’ will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment. They will weep and mourn, saying, “Woe, woe, O great city — dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet clothing, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls - because in a single hour such great wealth has been destroyed!” And every ship’s captain, and all who sail along the coast — seamen, and all who make their living from the sea, stood a long way off and began to shout when they saw the smoke from the fire that burned her up, “Who is like the great city?”

(Rev 18:19-20; And they ‘unbelievers’ threw dust on their heads and were shouting with weeping and mourning, “Woe, Woe, O great city — in which all those who had ships on the sea got rich from her wealth — because in a single hour she has been destroyed!” (Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you Saints and apostles and prophets, for God has pronounced judgment against her on your behalf!)

(Rev 18:21-23; Then one powerful angel picked up a stone like a huge millstone, threw it into the sea, and said, “With this kind of sudden violent force Babylon the great city will be thrown down and it will never be found again! And the sound of the harpists, musicians, flute players, and trumpeters will never be heard in you again. No craftsman who practices any trade will ever be found in you again; the noise of a mill will never be heard in you again. Even the light from a lamp will never shine in you again! The voices of the bridegroom and his bride will never be heard in you again. For your merchants were the tycoons of the world, because all the nations were deceived by your magic spells!)

(Rev 18:24; The blood of the saints and prophets was found in her, along with the blood of all those who had been killed on the earth.”) Israelites and followers of Jesus should be mindful of this world’s hatred because “we’re in the world But not of the world.”

Do we look forward to meeting David, Paul and others? “Are we mindful that God makes us atOne by promise?” Some professing Christians denominations refer to themselves as teachers of a “Pauline doctrine” beware of them because they’re hostile to Jesus’ truth. Paul was taught by Jesus! Some Roman priests have adapted an order called, “Mission Society of St Paul the Apostle” founded in New York in 1858. They consider Paul’s theology different from Jesus’.

Heavenly Father: thank You for revealing Your Way and this world’s need for Your kingdom‘s soon coming. Give Your persevering wills and strengthen as many that are led to ask, is our prayer and the nature of Jesus. AMEN.

We need to consider the cost when we’re led to turn to God, from practices this world’s system promotes. Membership in God’s family must be gifted ‘as is a miraculous nature change.’ It’s a mindset change from fleshly to spiritual. Jesus refers to it as, “being born from above.” Attempting to conjure up a turning “from fleshly to spiritual, from within our fleshly nature isn’t possible.” People think fleshly until God calls, spiritually opens minds and gives the desire to be atOne with Him. Joining a religion of choice can’t change a persons nature.

Satan has this world’s system divided with many philosophies and doctrines, designed to appeal to our fleshly inherited from Adam nature, which amounts to idolatry. It’s the way that seems right. The only view that isn’t idolatrous is God’s Way. God’s Way is singular and absolute, He presents Himself as our all knowing spiritual Father. He and His followers hates the false way. (When God reveals Himself and leads our minds from Satan’s deceptive practices, “it’s conversion.” It’s faith in Jesus dependency. Then individually we can look to God for strength and the will to persevere - “overcome to the end.” Consider Jesus’ Word’s, which will judge us.

(Matt 10:34-39; “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. “Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And whoever does not take up his cross, and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it and whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.”)

Consider the difficulty of following Jesus while living among unbelievers. We each love one or the other! Our fleshly nature’s outlook desires practices and philosophies, designed to aid our fleshly pursuit of worldly pleasures “sin.” God revels that He loved us first and He gives the desire to lovingly obey Him.

Doctor Luke repeats the principles recorded in Matthew. (Luke 14:25-33; “Now large crowds were accompanying Jesus, He turning to them and said, “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate “love less by comparison” his own father and mother, and wife and children, and brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. (27) Whoever does not carry his own cross “practice what’s revealed - understood” and follow Me cannot be My disciple. (28) (Cost?) For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesn’t sit down first and compute the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish the tower, all who see it will begin to make fun of him. They will say, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish!’ Or what king, going out to confront another king in battle, will not sit down first and determine whether he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? If he cannot succeed, he will send a representative while the other is still a long way off and ask for terms of peace. (33) In the same way therefore not one of you can be My disciple if he doesn’t renounce all his own possessions.”)

In other words, this universe, earth and we set aside people are  bought with the price of Jesus’ life ’shed blood’ God’s purpose.

9/29/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 29, 5,779 until sunset

To: People desiring to be atOne with God the Father, God the Son and Heir with Abraham.

As God separated Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses from the populations at large for His purpose, He separated Israel and made them peculiar to the world’s people. Commanding they not learn the ways of the pagan cultures around them. They like their spiritual counterparts ‘Christians’ of each age, are to be in the world but not of the world. (Jesus did, had His prophets and apostles address spiritual and physical Israelites, never the world at large.) Jesus prayed the following to God the Father; (John 17:9; “I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those You have given Me, because they belong to You.” AND (John 17:15; “I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safe from the evil one.”)

Review why Jesus spoke to the majorities in parables. (See Matt 10:13 and consider that Jesus is quoting what He had Isaiah write years before.) Likewise when Jesus returns, only called out “chosen. Believing IN people” will be in the first and spiritual resurrection.

Physical Israelites ‘Jacob’s descendents’ will again be delivered from the nations that despise them, to the borders promised Abraham. They’ll respond to all Jesus’ ways, be blessed to the degree that their former enemies will come asking ‘teach us about your God.

To demonstrate His power and planning the Lord God Jesus named Cyrus years before his birth and commissioned the rebuilding of Jerusalem which was carried out. He had Isaiah prophecy.

(Isaiah 45:4-7; “For the sake of my servant Jacob, Israel, my chosen one, I call you by name ‘Cyrus’ and give you a title of respect, even though you do not recognize Me. I am the LORD, I have no peer, there is no God but Me. I arm you for battle, even though you do not recognize Me. I do this so people will recognize from east to west that there is no God but Me; I am the LORD, I have no peer. I am the One who forms light and creates darkness; the One who brings about peace and creates calamity. I am the LORD, who accomplishes all these things.”

Isaiah 45:8-9;  “O sky, rain down from above! Let the clouds send down showers of deliverance! Let the earth absorb it so salvation may grow, and deliverance may sprout up along with it. I, the LORD, create it. One who argues with his creator is in grave danger, one who is like a mere shard among the other shards on the ground! The clay should not say to the potter, “What in the world are you doing? Your work lacks skill!”

Isaiah 45:10-11; “Danger awaits one who says to his father, “What in the world are you fathering?” and to his mother, “What in the world are you bringing forth?” This is what the LORD says, the Holy One of Israel, the one who formed him, concerning things to come: “How dare you question Me about My children! How dare you tell me what to do with the work of My own hands!”

(Isaiah 45:12-13; “I made the earth, I created the people who live on it. It was Me — My hands stretched out the sky, I give orders to all the heavenly lights. It is Me — I stir him up and commission him; I will make all his ways level. He ‘Cyrus’ will rebuild My city; he will send My exiled people home, but not for a price or a bribe,” says the LORD who commands armies.”) (See 2Chron 26:22-23) (See Ezra 1: - 6:) (Daniel 6:28; “So this Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.”) (Dan10:1; “In the third year of King Cyrus of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel (who was also called Belteshazzar). This message was true and concerned a great war. He understood the message and gained insight by the vision.”)

We have record of Jerusalem being repopulated twice and a third time is likely. Israel’s physical resurrection is prophesied.

The valley of dry bones:

(Ezek 27:1-14; “The hand of the LORD was on me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and placed me in the midst of the valley, and it was full of bones. He made me walk all around among them. I realized there were a great many bones in the valley and they were very dry. He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him, “Sovereign Lord, You know.” Then He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and tell them: ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. This is what the sovereign LORD says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath into you and you will live. I will put tendons on you and muscles over you and will cover you with skin; I will put breath in you and you will live. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’ ” (7) So I prophesied as I was commanded. There was a sound when I prophesied — I heard a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone. As I watched, I saw tendons on them, then muscles appeared, and skin covered over them from above, but there was no breath in them. (9) He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, — prophesy, son of man — and say to the breath: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these corpses so that they may live.’ “So I prophesied as I was commanded, and the breath came into them; they lived and stood on their feet, an extremely great army.

Ezek 37:11-14; Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Look, they are saying, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope has perished; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to open your graves and will raise you from your graves, My people. I will bring you to the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, My people. I will place My breath in you and you will live; I will give you rest in your own land. Then you will know that I am the LORD — I have spoken and I will act, declares the LORD.’ ”

I’ll be their Lord and they My people.

(Ezek 37:15- “The word of the LORD came to me: “As for you, son of man, take one branch and write on it, ‘For Judah, and for the Israelites associated with him.’ Then take another branch and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the branch of Ephraim and all the house of Israel associated with him.’ Join them as one stick; they will be as one in your hand. (18) When your people say to you, ‘Will you not tell us what these things mean?’ tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to take the branch of Joseph which is in the hand of Ephraim and the tribes of Israel associated with him, and I will place them on the stick of Judah, and make them into one stick — they will be one in My hand.’ The sticks you write on will be in your hand in front of them. Then tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to take the Israelites from among the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from round about and bring them to their land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will rule over them all. They will never again be two nations and never again be divided into two kingdoms. (23) They will not defile themselves with their idols, their detestable things, and all their rebellious deeds. I will save them from all their unfaithfulness by which they sinned. I will purify them; they will become My people and I will become their God. (24) ” ‘My servant David will be king over them; there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My regulations and carefully observe My statutes.

Ezek 37:25-28;  They will live in the land I gave to My servant Jacob, in which your fathers lived; they will live in it — they and their children and their grandchildren forever. David My servant will be prince over them forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be a perpetual covenant with them. I will establish them, increase their numbers, and place My sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people. (28) Then, when My sanctuary is among them forever, the nations will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel.’ “)

Today’s Godly servants.

Jesus purposely keeps His servants humble as He did David and Paul. They were spiritually taught that arrogance can rule behavior. We too should be thankful for humility, realize our inherited nature’s desires for power, wealth and etc. In that regard Paul’s letter to Timothy contains the following verse. (Tim 6:10; For the love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains.) We also have the history of king Solomon’s gifted wisdom and his downfall resulting from his unchecked desires. So Paul shared what kept him humble with us, “a messenger of Satan troubled him” so he’d not become arrogant. Allow Paul’s rationale to continue for our learning.

(2Corinthians 12:8-10; “I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me. But He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me. (10) Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.”)

Gifted revealed understanding is through the Holy spirit of truth. Understanding our inherited from Adam sin nature is of great value. Paul spoke of being transported to the third heaven. “In or out of the body, he couldn’t say; God knew.”

There’s a heavenly spiritual throne out there! (STUDY Revelations 4) Much of what’s revealed to John may have been revealed to Paul. Knowledge can make a fleshly human arrogant as it did Satan. Paul understood the meaning of the Lord saying; “My grace is enough for you.” God taught Paul to be totally dependent on Him and he’ll be in the first resurrection with David and all Believers IN.

9/28/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 28, 5,779 until sunset

To: People desiring to be atOne with God the Father, God the Son and Heirs with Abraham.

No accident that Adam was created in God’s image and likeness. Our creative talents are purposely given by measure and likened to God’s own, “very elementary in comparison.” Our loving Creator is still creating, shaping and molding a chosen by promise people to grow in His spiritual image and likeness. That spiritual creation is more mysterious to the world than His physical creations. It’s God making a chosen people atOne with Himself. Gifting His spirit is “to make one a born again child of God.” It’s gifted immortality through Jesus, “eternal life.” He gives the desire and effort for His purpose. (See Phil 2:13; “for the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort — for the sake of His good pleasure — is God.)

Israel’s miraculous deliverance from Egypt is for our learning and likened to our deliverance from sin’s bondage. Israel’s deliverance was promised Abraham 430 years before. Chosen Jacob’s descendents did nothing to gain this deliverance but “it was God keeping a major part of His perpetual promises to Abraham.” (Consider the fact that only God’s chosen, set aside people were given His commandments, oracles and calendar for their good.) While God was delivering Israel to His lawful way of life and practices honoring Him for their good, He was allowing the rest go the way that seemed right to themselves. Likewise in Abraham’s day, all but Abraham, Sarah and Lot were living according to what seemed right. While talented people around this world were worshiping gods of their imagination, building grand structural buildings that are still wonders to the world, making war and enslaving. However God’s purpose for making a peculiar people in His image and likeness wasn’t forgotten.

God revealed to Moses that one in his likeness was to come and “to Him people must obey,” told Moses and other prophets how His people would digress to despicable conditions duplicating those before the flood and Sodom and Gomorra. But there’d be a called out set aside people who’d overcome by Jesus’ faith and endure to the end. A Messiah “whom people must obey” would come, rule, bind Satan and once again deliver His chosen people from demonic bondage. Jesus had several prophets write about that future deliverance: Isaiah at chapters 22:, 35:, 45:, 51:, 53: and 65:, Jeremiah 31: and Amos 9:11-15 are a few.

These prophecies are about another supernatural deliverance likened to that from Egypt and God taking away Israel’s sins while punishing those who’d hated them. It’ll also be the time Jesus’ prophet Joel wrote about, “when all who’d call on His name “the name of the Lord will be saved.”

As Israel was being delivered from Egyptian bondage to the promised lands they came to Mt. Sinai where the Lord God Jesus had them wash, sanctify themselves and come before Mt. Sinai. He had Moses come up to receive His commandments for His set aside people. (See Exodus 19: and 20:) There was shaking, thunder, lightning and the people including Moses were frightened. Today “worshipers following Jesus” have a new covenant and may come before spiritual Mt. Sinai.

A Kingdom That Cannot Be Shaken

Heb 12:18-29; “For you ’worshipers of Jesus’  have not come to something that can be touched, to a burning fire and darkness and gloom and a whirlwind and the blast of a trumpet and a voice uttering words such that those who heard begged to hear no more. For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.” In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said, “I shudder with fear.” But you ’followers of Jesus’ have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly and congregation of the firstborn, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous, who have been made perfect,  (24) and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks of something better than Abel’s does.

(12:25-29; Take care not to refuse the One who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the One who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the One who warns from heaven? Then His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.” Now this phrase “once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain. So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe. For our God is indeed a devouring fire.”)

Jesus’ delivering Israel through Moses was what “may possibly be called” part one of Jesus’ promised deliverance to Abraham’s heirs.

(Gal 3:28-29; There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”)

It’s all God’s doing. While we followers of Jesus are experiencing a spiritual deliverance from bondage akin to Israel’s deliverance from Egypt; another physical deliverance of Israelites is pre-planned and so ultimately “all Israel will be saved.” Remember Jacob’s name was changed to “Israel” and that new name means, “God fights.”

As prophesied, Jesus came to His own, “the Israelites” who for the most part rejected Him. They misunderstood the prophets and were looking for One like Moses, who’d deliver all Israel as they’re going to be. Not looking for a Savior who’d demonstrate Godly attributes of re-creating food, give sight to the blind, heal the lame, resurrect to physical life and Himself willingly be sacrificed for the sins of the world. His plan always included set aside gentiles, much to Israelite’s dismay. Remember Cornelius and family were the first gentiles to become Believers IN after that Pentecost and receive the Holy Spirit as Israelites did on Pentecost. Peter was the one called to reveal Jesus.

It’s always been: “Jesus’ prophecies and good news regarding the kingdom of God’s coming is to His chosen. Promises are to Abraham’s heirs, both physical and spiritual Israelite to separate them from this world’s demonically led populations. Only to the Israelites were the oracles of God given, including His calendar, foreshadowing His planning. Thus a set aside people celebrate three annual holy seasons.

(1st holy season, Passover and Unleavened Bread draws attention to belief IN Jesus’ shed blood for the remission of sin and putting that which puffs up “sin” from our practices. (2nd holy season is Pentecost, “Feast of First Fruits” the gifting of God’s spirit and the birth date of God’s church. Giving His Holy Spirit of truth to called out Believers IN, makes each a temple of His spirit and literally “born again children” family. (3rd holy season includes four annual Sabbaths in God’s seventh month is: Trumpets, looking to our spiritual resurrection. Atonement, looking to our literally being atOne with God the Son and God the Father. Our seeing, worshiping and never usurping His will. Last Great Day, looks forward to Satan being bound, final judgment of sinful practices and finally after the Millennial reign “God the Father’s coming down with New Jerusalem. These holy set aside times for God’s people looked  forward to His planned salvation of His people and will look back during Jesus’ millennial reign and beyond for giving His praise for it all. Then we’ll understand why Jesus’ apostles never lorded over people.

Let’s review Paul’s explanation of his ways and teaching Jesus. (1Corinthians 2:1-5; “When I came to you, brothers and sisters, I did not come with superior eloquence or wisdom as I proclaimed the testimony God. For I decided to be concerned about nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and with much trembling. My conversation and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.”)

Characteristic of false teachers are their eloquent presentations, their boastfulness of credentials and their desire to lord over or make merchandise of people. Paul was well schooled in the law, spoke several languages and could have presented credentials, but the Holy spirit of truth in Paul didn’t allow that. Through gifted spiritual revelations (Paul taught the mysterious truth of God’s spirit living in people that changed their natures from fleshly thinking, “like that inherited from Adam, to spiritual thinking like that through Jesus.”

Paul shared details of his spiritual experience.

(2Corinthians 12:1-7; “It is necessary to go on boasting. Though it is not profitable, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago (whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows) was caught up to the third heaven. (3) And I know that this man (whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows) was caught up into paradise and heard things too sacred to be put into words, things that a person is not permitted to speak. On behalf of such an individual I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except about my weaknesses. (6) For even if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I would be telling the truth, but I refrain from this so that no one may regard me beyond what he sees in me or what he hears from me, even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me – so that I would not become arrogant.”)

Satan attempted to use Paul’s fleshly talents and “the extraordinary character of Jesus’ revelations to him” to woo people beyond his humanity. Paul knew and was thankful that God kept him humble, causing weakness that aided the Holy spirit of truth’s work.

Spirit of Truth, chapter 24 of 24

Tuesday, September 24th, 2019

9/24/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 24, 5,779 until sunset

To: Believing IN people desiring to be atOne with God the Father, God the Son and Heirs with Abraham.

The holy scriptures define God’s church as individual temples in whom God’s spirit of truth dwells. His church is not a building nor a denomination, but a people ‘born from above’ in whom God gifts with a new nature. God’s church is the bride of Christ. A people wedded to, immersed in and clothed with Jesus Christ. Pentecost is the birth date of God’s “New Covenant Church” See Acts 2:

Speaking to those in whom His spirit would dwell, Jesus said; (John 3:7-8; “Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

“Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, My Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three are assembled in My name ‘My nature’ I am there among them.” Matt 18:19-20)

Consider: Two spirit led individuals aren’t going to ask for anything outside the will of God! Two or more converted to God’s Way people “assembled for worship are in God’s family” their request would always be “in the context of what’s good for God’s church family.” It’s what’s meant when the apostles write, “don’t forsake the assembling together of yourselves.” They didn’t mean “don’t forsake getting together in a denominational building of choice to worship.” Rather, they uses quotes and principles from Moses, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Isaiah to teach separation from those who aren‘t like minded. (See Lev 26:12; Jer 32:38; Ezek 37:27 and Isaiah 52:11. (Review 2Cor 6:14-18)

God’s people can’t be partners with people who’re overly involved with this world’s system of things. Denominations that boast of membership numbers, property holdings and their ability to influence governments. These worship tradition and a mixture of paganism in the name of Jesus.

Consider: God is allowing Satan to be the god of this world and Jesus said: “if they persecuted Me they will persecute you.” If the populations at large didn’t believe Jesus, how can we expect they’ll believe us. (The Greek term Βελιάρ (Beliar) is a spelling variant for Βελιάλ (Belial, see Judg 20:13 LXX). It occurs only here in the New Testament. Beliar references Satan. Consider: followers of Jesus are “the temple of the living God” and Jesus predicted the condition of this world before His return and it’s efforts to mix paganism in His name.

Remember Jesus’ apostles locked themselves in, for fear of the Temple hierarchy, those demanding Pilot crucify Jesus, the ’priest, Pharisees and Sadducees.’ Jesus’ apostles were always fearful as they combated paganism. Acceptance of tradition in Jesus’ name gained popularity during the apostles life. Fulfilling Jesus’ words “many will come in My name, saying I am the Christ and deceive many.” Paul’s words too at verses 3 & 4, in this (2Cor 11: “But I am afraid that just as the serpent deceived Eve by his treachery, your minds may be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.” For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus different from the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the one you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it well enough!”) AND verses 13-15 (“For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.”)

In the apostles day and since, ‘people claiming to be led by Jesus, boast of their credentials and deceive many naïve people.” Most denominations are practicing various pagan traditions while claiming to represent Jesus. The paradox? Many well intended people thinking it good to be religious, ‘choose a church that fits their own fleshly thinking without searching God’s Word.’ We inherited such thinking from Adam and denominations are as darkened parables.

(Matthew 13:10-15; “Then the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” He replied, You “who are called” have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven but they have not. For whoever has will be given more and will have an abundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. For this reason I speak to them in parables: Although they see they do not see and although they hear they do not hear nor do they understand. And concerning them “those who aren’t called” the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says: ‘You will listen carefully yet will never understand, you will look closely yet will never comprehend. For the heart of this people has become dull; they are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes, so that they would not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn, “repent” and I would heal them.’”) Jesus revealed this parable to Isaiah, and here quotes it.

Jesus’ teaching doesn’t fit the narrative, “people are born to live forever someplace” as Satan palmed off on Eve and modern Christendom. Nor does it fit assumed methodology of the majorities.

Jesus and each apostle made it clear, “the called are gifted with opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven but others aren’t so gifted. Fleshly religions make gods fit their fleshly thinking, maintaining the fleshly attitude “one denomination is as good as the other, after all we’re all trying to get to the same place.” So tradition and every imaginable life practice is condoned. They wonder why morality is at an all time low. To His followers Jesus continued.

(Matt 13:16-17; “But your eyes are blessed because they see and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”)

Prophets, righteous people and even angels could not comprehend the mystery of, “God’s spirit living in people” until the time allotted.  Touching on this mystery, Jesus began quoting in principle the same inspiration He gave the prophets. (Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38; Now Jesus said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” (See Isaiah 44:3, 55:1, 58:11, and Zech 14:8, Jesus inspired these prophetic Words long before.)

When this truth is proclaimed, the many fit Jesus’ sower - planter parable.

(Matt 13:18-23; “So listen to the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word about the kingdom and do not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches what was sown in his heart; this is the seed sown along the path. The seed sown on rocky ground is the person who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy. But he has no root in himself and does not endure; when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately he falls away. The seed sown among thorns is the person who hears the word, but worldly cares and the seductiveness of wealth choke the word, so it produces nothing. But as for the seed sown on good soil, this is the person who hears the word and understands. He bears fruit, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.”) Now back to Paul’s 2nd letter to the Corinthians and all followers of Jesus.

(2Cor 11:16-33; “I “Paul” say again, let no one think that I am a fool. But if you do, then at least accept me as a fool, so that I too may boast a little. What I am saying with this boastful confidence I do not say the way the Lord would. Instead it is, as it were, foolishness. Since many are boasting according to human standards, I too will boast. For since you are so wise, you put up with fools, (false teachers with fleshly credentials, boasting and deceiving the naïve.) gladly. For you put up with someone making slaves - ‘merchandise’ of you, if someone exploits you, if someone takes advantage of you, if someone behaves arrogantly toward you, if someone strikes you in the face. (21) (To my disgrace I must say that we were too weak for that!) But whatever anyone else dares to boast about (I am speaking foolishly) I also dare to boast about the same thing. Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they descendants of Abraham? So am I. (23) Are they servants of Christ? (I am talking like I am out of my mind!) I am even more so: with much greater labors, with far more imprisonments, with more severe beatings, facing death many times. Five times I received from the Jews forty lashes less one. Three times I was beaten with a rod. Once I received a stoning. Three times I suffered shipwreck. A night and a day I spent adrift in the open sea. (26) I have been on journeys many times, in dangers from rivers, in dangers from robbers, in dangers from my own countrymen, in dangers from Gentiles, in dangers in the city, in dangers in the wilderness, in dangers at sea, in dangers from false brothers, in hard work and toil, through many sleepless nights, in hunger and thirst, many times without food, in cold and without enough clothing. Apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxious concern for all the churches. (29) Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not burn with indignation? (30 If I must boast, I will boast about the things that show my weakness. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed forever, knows I am not lying. In Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus in order to arrest me, (33) but I was let down in a rope-basket through a window in the city wall, and escaped his hands.”) Read this historical account at Acts 9: to discern why Paul boasted in things that showed his weakness.

9/22/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 22, 5,779 until sunset

To: Believers IN, a people desiring to be atOne with God the Father, God the Son and Heirs with Abraham.

People assuming mankind can fix climate change are unbelievers. The God of creation, sustains and has altruistic plans for this earth and His people. Pre-fixed plans that are unalterable. See Isa 11 & 12:

Isaiah 11:10-16; “At that time a root from Jesse ;Jesus’ will stand like a signal flag for the nations. Nations will look to Him for guidance, and His residence will be majestic. At that time the sovereign Master will again lift his hand to reclaim the remnant of His people from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and the seacoasts. He will lift a signal flag for the nations; He will gather Israel’s dispersed people and assemble Judah’s scattered people from the four corners of the earth. (13) Ephraim’s jealousy will end, and Judah’s hostility will be eliminated. Ephraim will no longer be jealous of Judah, and Judah will no longer be hostile toward Ephraim. They ‘Ephraim & Judah’ will swoop down on the Philistine hills to the west; together they will loot the people of the east. They will take over Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be their subjects. (11) The LORD will divide the gulf of the Egyptian Sea; He will wave His hand over the Euphrates River and send a strong wind, He will turn it into seven dried-up streams and enable them to walk across in their sandals. There will be a highway leading out of Assyria for the remnant of His people, just as there was for Israel, when they went up from the land of Egypt.”)

From Adam’s creation until now, people can’t get past a hostile attitude toward their Creator who loves them. A submissive spirit toward God is a must for eternal life.

Paul taught, a submissive spirit is of great price in his letters to the Corinthians. We must become submissive to Jesus as Lord over our conduct, practices and worship. The principle of submissiveness should began with children, then to those we’d draw wages from. The right submissiveness is spiritual training. In that context we need to recognize “we each inherited a self serving nature that resents being submissive.” Our nature like Adam and Eve’s, prefers thinking for and deciding for self in all matters regarding right, wrong, good and evil. Not cultivating a submissive toward God mindset, ’caused Israelites to want a king like their non-Israelite neighbors.

(1Samuel 8:4-9; “So all the elders of Israel gathered together and approached Samuel at Ramah. They said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons don’t follow your ways. So now appoint over us a king to lead us, just like all the other nations have.” But this request displeased Samuel for they said, “Give us a king to lead us.” So Samuel prayed to the Lord. The Lord said to Samuel “Do everything the people request of you. For it is not you that they have rejected, but it is Me that they have rejected as their king. Just as they have done from the day that I brought them up from Egypt until this very day, they have rejected Me and have served other gods. This is what they are also doing to you. So now do as they say. But seriously warn them and make them aware of the policies of the king who will rule over them.”

If you’re spirit led, you recognize “only followers of Jesus are free today” there’s no other people on earth who aren’t in sin’s bondage.

(Samuel 8:10-18; “So Samuel spoke all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, “Here are the policies of the king who will rule over you: He will conscript your sons and put them in his chariot forces and in his cavalry; they will run in front of his chariot. He will appoint for himself leaders of thousands and leaders of fifties, as well as those who plow his ground, reap his harvest, and make his weapons of war and his chariot equipment. He will take your daughters to be ointment makers, cooks, and bakers. He will take your best fields and vineyards and give them to his own servants. He will demand a tenth of your seed and of the produce of your vineyards and give it to his administrators and his servants. He will take your male and female servants, as well as your best cattle and your donkeys, and assign them for his own use. He will demand a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will be his servants. In that day you will cry out because of your king whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord won’t answer you in that day.”)

The words are ancient but the principle the same. In Moses’ day the whole world was already going the way that seemed right to their fleshly nature. Only God’s chosen people “the Israelites” had a covenant of freedom with their Creator. Agreeing to practice and live according to His righteous way. Today “Christians” followers of Jesus are gifted with a new covenant, under Jesus as Shepherd. These are “His Temple, His Church and family. Now back to Paul’s letter to God’s church at Corinth and all followers of Jesus.

(2Cor 8:16-22; “But thanks be to God who put in the heart of Titus the same devotion, I have for you, because he not only accepted our request, but since he was very eager, he is coming to you of his own accord. And we are sending along with him the brother who is praised by all the churches for his work in spreading the gospel. (19) In addition, this brother has also been chosen by the churches as our traveling companion as we administer this generous gift to the glory of the Lord Himself and to show our readiness to help. We did this as a precaution so that no one should blame us in regard to this generous gift we are administering. (21) For we are concerned about what is right not only before the Lord but also before men. And we are sending with them our brother whom we have tested many times and found eager in many matters, but who now is much more eager than ever because of the great confidence he has in you.”)

The trusted brother accompanying Titus isn’t named here for some reason. Paul is careful to display honesty before the church and outsiders. Careful not to lord over; thus he tells of Titus and companions coming of their own accord; “not commanded by Paul.”

Believers IN are under a faith/love covenant with our Lord, Savior and coming king, Jesus. Differing from the old covenant is the gifted desire to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son. Understand, those who aren’t recipients of His “spirit of truth” will be judged by His laws.

Members of God’s church at Corinth “as are scattered Christians around the world” are members of God’s family; our citizenship is in heaven. However we’re to obey fleshly governments to the degree God wills. Worldly governments usually includes a welfare system, society laws, taxes to support military and much more. This doesn’t diminish the Christian obligation to look out for one another and support overseers teaching God’s Way. Giving time or monetary support to denominations practicing a false way is idolatry. Support of less fortunate Christians is a large part of our responsibility..

(2Cor 9:1-4; “For it is not necessary for me to write you about this service to the Saints, because I know your eagerness to help. I keep boasting to the Macedonians about this eagerness of yours, that Achaia has been ready to give since last year, and your zeal to participate has stirred up most of them. But I am sending these brothers so that our boasting about you may not be empty in this case, so that you may be ready just as I kept telling them. (4) For if any of the Macedonians should come with me and find that you are not ready to give, we would be humiliated (not to mention you) by this confidence we had in you.”) Instructions for this preparation began in Paul’s first letter, let’s look back.

(1Cor 16:1-4; “With regard to the collection for the saints, please follow the directions that I gave to the churches of Galatia: On the first day of the week, each of you should set aside some income and save it to the extent that God has blessed you, so that a collection will not have to be made when I come. Then, when I arrive, I will send those whom you approve with letters of explanation to carry your gift to Jerusalem. And if it seems advisable that I should go also, they will go with me.”) The Christians in Jerusalem were having hard times in various ways. Christians in Galatia and Corinth were more prosperous and some had been making preparations for this giving for a long time.

(2Cor 9:5-15; “Therefore I thought it necessary to urge these brothers to go to you in advance and to arrange ahead of time the generous contribution you had promised, so this may be ready as a generous gift and not as something you feel forced to do. (6) My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. (7) Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace overflow to you so that because you have enough of everything in every way at all times, you will overflow in every good work. Just as it is written, “He has scattered widely, He has given to the poor; His righteousness remains forever.” (quotation from Ps 112:9) Now God who provides seed for the sower “planter” and bread for food will provide and multiply your supply of seed and will cause the harvest of your righteousness to grow. (11) You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous on every occasion, which is producing through us thanksgiving to God, because the service of this ministry is not only providing for the needs of the Saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God. (13) Through the evidence of this service they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing with them and with everyone. And in their prayers on your behalf they long for you because of the extraordinary grace God has shown to you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”)

To know that God is our Provider is a gift. Obedience to our New Covenant under Jesus is a submission to God’s law of love. Showing communities with action our submissiveness to Jesus’ law of love is to share our abundance. When we have abundance we should look for folks to help. Especially like minded Believers IN. We have a spiritual obligation to love others as Christ loved us. A willingness to give of ourselves in every way without recognition should be a goal worth seeking.

Heavenly Father: thank You for revealing Yourself through Your Son Jesus and Your inspired printed Word. May many be led to seek Your Way is our prayer in Jesus’ holy name. AMEN.

9/21/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 21, 5,779 until sunset

To: Believers IN, people desiring to be atOne with God the Father, God the Son and Heirs with Abraham.

In many countries politics has become more divisive than religion. More tolerant of religious differences than of people denying climate control causes. These intolerant unbelievers of creation seemingly don’t know “one volcano eruption puts more carbon emission out in one day than all other sources combined do in one year.” Unbelievers don’t know that Creator God controls, He’s Sustainer and has future plans. People’s moral decline causes God to look away and allow  Satan’s control. He’s “prince of the power of the air” the one God’s allowing much control because of disobedience. Paul explained.

(Eph 2:1-3; “And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience,  among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest… )

Intolerance and people’s idea that they can affect earth’s weather is proof of “unbelief in God as Creator and Sustainer.” In the USA for example, people are persecuted for not going along with political correctness in this and other areas. (It’s divisive war of ideologies much as religions and in fact has become a religion.) It’s people worshiping the creation more than the Creator. What can followers of Jesus do? Stay as far away from these arguments as possible. Live a quiet life as much as possible. Jesus gave advice through Paul.

(2Cor 6:14-18; “Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar “Satan”? Or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever? (16) And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we “Christians” are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord “and touch no unclean thing and I will welcome you, (18) and I will be a father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the All-Powerful Lord.”)

This Godly principle is repeated through out God‘s Word. Christians should not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Separating from unbelievers is sometimes difficult for people weak in the faith. Our fleshly nature wants to be so much accepted by acquaintances. In the future God will do the separating. (See Lev 26:10-16, Jer 32:37-42, Ezek 20:39-43, Isaiah 43:5-9 & 52:11-12.

For 20 plus years we’ve encouraged “in home worship.” Governments imposed regulations on formal places of worship keep increasing, making “in home worship necessary.” Our paper back book, “Jesus’ Good News” can be an asset if you do group study. (Matt. 18:20 reads; “For where two or three are assembled in My name, I am there among them.”) We ask blessings on your in home worship.

Believer IN are called to be ambassadors for Christ, “to people we’re able to communicate with.” We can’t communicate from within an assembly of unbelievers. We’re witnesses against them when we don’t associate in their worship. In Paul’s letters to the Corinthians, he pulls no punches about the fact that God is all in all and that He knew us from the beginning. Consider God’s Word to Israel regarding His control and His future plan. Christians are spiritual Israelites.

(Isaiah 43:1-6; “Now, this is what the Lord says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: “Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you. I call you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you. (3) For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Deliverer. I have handed over Egypt as a ransom price, Ethiopia and Seba in place of you. (4) Since you are precious and special in My sight, and I love you, I will hand over people in place of you, nations in place of your life. (5) Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. From the east I will bring your descendants; from the west I will gather you. (6) I will say to the north, ‘Hand them over!’ and to the south, ‘Don’t hold any back! Bring My Sons from distant lands, and My daughters from the remote regions of the earth, everyone who belongs to Me, whom I created for My glory, whom I formed – yes, whom I made!”)

Israel was saved from Egyptian bondage “depicting sin” by God’s promise to Abraham. Israel didn’t choose to leave Egypt, any more that we can choose to start believing IN. Afterward, God’s covenant with Israel hinged on their obedience. As God chose Israel by promise and chooses all His followers, creating each for His glory. His promises to Abraham included all who’re led to Believe IN Jesus. (If we belong to Christ, then we’re Abraham’s descendants “spiritual Israelites, Jews and heirs according to the promise.” (See Galatians 3:29)

(2Cor 7:1-10; “Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that could defile the body and the spirit and thus accomplish holiness out of reverence for God.) From a loving reverence for our Creator, who knew us before the foundation of the world! See 2Cor 2:2-10) (2) Make room for us “we apostles” in your hearts; we have wronged no one, we have ruined no one, we have exploited no one. I do not say this to condemn you, for I told you before that you are in our hearts so that we die together and live together with you. I have great confidence in you; I take great pride on your behalf. I am filled with encouragement; I am overflowing with joy in the midst of all our suffering. (5) For even when we came into Macedonia, our body had no rest at all, but we were troubled in every way – struggles from the outside, fears from within. (6) But God, who encourages the downhearted, encouraged us by the arrival of Titus. We were encouraged not only by his arrival, but also by the encouragement you gave him, as he reported to us your longing, your mourning, your deep concern for me, so that I rejoiced more than ever. (8) For even if I made you sad by my letter, I do not regret having written it (even though I did regret it, for I see that my letter made you sad, though only for a short time) Now I rejoice, not because you were made sad, but because you were made sad to the point of repentance. For you were made sad as God intended, so that you were not harmed in any way by us. (10) For sadness as intended by God produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.”)

People get sad over many things that amount to nothing, “to be sadden over sin and repent is of great price.” The congregation at Corinth is a good example. Remember in Paul’s first letter he addressed particular sins in detail. Titus’ return included information about their turning to God.

(2Cor 7:11-16; “For see what this very thing, this sadness as God intended, has produced IN YOU: what eagerness, what defense of yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what deep concern, what punishment! In everything you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. (12) So then, even though I wrote to you, it was not on account of the one who did wrong, or on account of the one who was wronged, but to reveal to you your eagerness on our behalf before God. Therefore we have been encouraged. And in addition to our own encouragement, we rejoiced even more at the joy of Titus, because all of you have refreshed his spirit. For if I have boasted to him about anything concerning you, I have not been embarrassed by you, but just as everything we said to you was true, so our boasting to Titus about you has proved true as well. And his affection for you is much greater when he remembers the obedience of you all, how you welcomed him with fear and trembling. (16) I rejoice because in everything I am fully confident in you.”)

The Corinthian’s fear was the messages of truth Jesus gave through His servants. (“Fearing the Lord is the beginning of moral knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7) Values taught by parents are good, but to live respectful of God’s Way is better. Practicing His Ways from a love of Him View “can only be through a new gifted nature.”

(2Cor 8:1-15; “Now we make known to you, brothers and sisters, the grace of God given to the churches of Macedonia, that during a severe ordeal of suffering, their abundant joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in the wealth of their generosity. (3) For I testify, they gave according to their means and beyond their means. They did so voluntarily, begging us with great earnestness for the blessing and fellowship of helping the Saints. And they did this not just as we had hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and to us by the will of God. Thus we urged Titus that, just as he had previously begun this work, so also he should complete this act of kindness for you. But as you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, and in all eagerness and in the love from us that is in you – make sure that you excel in this act of kindness too. (8) I am not saying this as a command, but I am testing the genuineness of your love by comparison with the eagerness of others. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although He was rich, He became poor for your sakes, so that you by His poverty could become rich. So here is my opinion on this matter: It is to your advantage, since you made a good start last year both in your giving and your desire to give, to finish what you started, so that just as you wanted to do it eagerly, you can also complete it according to your means. (12) For if the eagerness is present, the gift itself is acceptable according to whatever one has, not according to what he does not have. For I do not say this so there would be relief for others and suffering for you, but as a matter of equality. At the present time, your abundance will meet their need, so that one day their abundance may also meet your need, and thus there may be equality, (15) as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.”)

Paul is referring to Exodus 16:18, sharing God’s principle of helping one another. Believers IN are spirit led to watch out for one another. It was Jesus providing manna “food” for the wondering Israelites, on their way to the promised lands and it is He that provides for His people’s needs in each age. Provisions may come from His convicting people who are blessed with much, to share.

Remember, God’s chosen are gifted with a Belief IN Him and from that gift flows the spirit of love, likened to living water. It’s the gift of eternal life. Chosen people are God’s Saints whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. (They have gifted discernment and aren’t likely to be deceived. (Matt 24:24; “For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect.”)

We each inherited a nature that makes us and our organizations lord over others. Those Lording over want your time and money. To this end organizations are likely to teach two extreme dogmas. (First, they dismiss the need for obedience to Jesus. Second, God ordained times are practically ignored, appealing to people’s natural inclination to do what seems right. Many put times God ordained holy in a category they deem “attempting to be saved by works: while teaching tithing “a rule for membership.”

Old covenant practices God set aside for His people, looked to Him as Creator and the One who sets righteous standards of conduct to be practiced. Paganism looks to gods of people’s imagination. Thus God told His people not to learn or yield to their practices.

God’s covenant with Israel under Moses and beyond had no taxes. The tithe supported the Levites, temple administration and the poor. A personal set aside tithe was for group celebrations, “travels to observe the holy seasons.” These seem to be the only parts of God’s covenant with Israel denominations like.

God’s new covenant with His called out people is a covenant of promise and love. Thus Jesus’ command that Christians love one another as He loved us. Pertaining to giving and support “we are to give to the needs of others, ‘particularly Christians’ and support God’s called out overseers as we’re able.” (Review Paul’s teaching, presented in the previous study, verses 1-15 of chapter 8.)

Religions attempting to make tithing a law for Christians, favor Matthew 23:23-24, which reads; (“Woe to you experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You give a tenth of mint, dill, and cumin, yet you neglect what is more important in the law – justice, mercy, and faithfulness! You should have done these things without neglecting the others. Blind guides! You strain out a gnat yet swallow a camel!”)

Jesus’ point? “these people were prideful about doing what could be seen by others and neglecting things relating to love.” As a God set aside nation, Israel should have (past tense) tithed and they should have stayed true to the covenant they made with God. They should have never wanted a king like the gentiles around them. Why did they? As with all unbelieving people “they never wanted God ruling over them.”

Spirit of Truth, chapter 21

Friday, September 20th, 2019

9/20/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 20, 5779 until sunset

To: The called Believers IN, people atOne with God the Father and God the Son. Heirs with Abraham.

Jesus’ apostles knew they weren’t their own, but belonged to Jesus. Purchased with His blood.

(Review 2Corinthians 5:13-16; “For if we ’apostles’ are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. For the love of Christ controls us, since we have concluded this, that Christ died for all; therefore all have died. And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised. (16) So then from now on we acknowledge no one from an outward human point of view. Even though we, “apostles” have known Christ from such a human point of view, now we do not know Him in that way any longer.”)

Jesus’ apostles initially knew Him as a fleshly man, until He performed miracles no one else had done. After revealing Himself and particularly after opening their minds to understand the scriptures, they knew Him as “Son of God, Re-creator, Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Mediator and coming King of Kings.

After Paul’s conversion he understood the gift of life was through Jesus and resurrections as revealed through David and Isaiah were through Jesus. Other resurrections and judgments were revealed. Paul understood and taught  “God’s calling, giving repentance, His spirit and revelations were all for a predestined people. That until God’s message is revealed “people’s minds are spiritually blind.” That until the Lord Jesus of Abraham is believed IN and “a love of Jesus’ way is shed abroad to our inner being” people don’t know Him. Until God the Father and God the Son are revealed as manifested in the holy scriptures “people form gods from their fleshly imaginations.”

(2Cor 5:17; “So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away – look, what is new has come!”) We can’t become a new creation on our own “not until we’re miraculously and supernaturally born again.” Only then are old desires replaced with new. New considerations and a love of God’s way is evidence of a new spiritual outlook. Evidence of God’s fathering. (See John 3:3, 7)

(2Cor 5:18-19; “And all these things are from God who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”) Through Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, “not counting people’s trespasses against Him, is the message of reconciliation.” Ultimately God puts all the blame on scapegoat Satan! How so and why? Deceived folks don’t know they are. God the Father made the first move “reconciling the world to Himself through Jesus.” Note the past tense. The world is reconciled through Jesus! (Again remember 1Corinthians 15: Each resurrected in their own order!)

(2Cor 5:20-21; “Therefore we “who are reconciled now” are ambassadors for Christ. God witnessing His plea through us. We plead with the world “be reconciled to God!” on Jesus’ behalf. (21) God made the One “Jesus” who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God.”)

WHAT’S an ambassador’s duty? “Show The personage of the One being represented, His characteristics, His plan for His people and this earth.” He’s revealing His plan through those He calls and grants His gift of turning. Those whose minds these word’s ring true to. Jesus’ ambassadors are given to understand the depth of His love. Know Jesus was with His Father when creating Adam. (Again see Colossians 1:15-20, John 1:1-5 & Hebrews 1: for an overview of Jesus‘ deity.)

Ambassadors are given to understand “they were loved before the world was Re-created.“ God knew the sacrifice He’d make “reconciling the world to Himself.” Knowing Jesus is to love Him and that He loved us first. That Love for us is beyond fleshly understanding.

(2Cor 6:1-2; “Now because we are fellow workers we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says, “I heard you at the acceptable time and in the day of salvation I helped you.” Look, now is the acceptable time; look, now is the day of salvation!”)

Now acceptable salvation is individually “when understanding is gifted!” Now is when God reveals Himself. Is it time to ask; “do I truly understand who Jesus is?” Where did that understanding come from? God gave it along with revealed Himself. Never through intellect, one’s goodness, nor another selling a denominational view. But gifted understanding, by grace and God’s mercy. Paul explained to the Ephesians and all followers of Jesus that God does the work.

(Eph 2:4-10; “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! – and He raised us up with Him “Jesus” and seated us with Him “Jesus” in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you are saved through faith and this is NOT from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is NOT from works, so that no one can boast. (10) For we are His workmanship, having been CREATED in Christ Jesus for good works that God PREPARED beforehand so we may do them.)

(We practice His good works when we believe IN Him. Believers credit His workmanship, knowing He called and mercy belongs to God.! We can’t praise self, boast or give credit to any individual; because all truth “regardless the source comes” emits from God. Paul shared the same to Timothy.

(2Tim 1:9-10; “He “God the Father” is the One who saved us and CALLED us with a holy calling, not based on OUR works but on His own PURPOSE and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus BEFORE TIME BEGAN, but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. He has broken the power of death and brought LIFE and immortality to light through the gospel!”)

When we understand theses things, we need to humbly give God the praise. Knowing “spiritual understanding is gifted by our spiritual God.” Know fleshly minds can’t grasp spiritual insight.

This world’s system of things hates His Way

Governments, societies and religions, all hated Jesus and His apostles for teaching the message of truth. Jesus told His followers in advance “they hated Me, they’ll hate you.” Jesus also gave the principle, “the servant is not greater than his master.”

Jesus’ apostle John was confined to an island, where Jesus’ revelations were given. Seemingly His others apostles were already killed. They didn’t intend to offend on personal levels, “knew God’s Word “the message” would offend unbelievers.

(2Cor 6:3-10; “We do not give anyone an occasion for taking an offense in anything, so that no fault may be found with our ministry. (4) But as God’s servants, we have commended ourselves in every way with great endurance, in persecutions, in difficulties, in distresses, in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in troubles, in sleepless nights, in hunger, by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by benevolence, by the Holy Spirit, by genuine love, by truthful teaching, by the power of God, with weapons of righteousness both for the right hand and for the left, through glory and dishonor, through slander and praise; regarded as impostors and yet true; as unknown, and yet well-known; as dying and yet – see! – we continue to live; as those who are scourged and yet not executed; as sorrowful, but always rejoicing, as poor, but making many rich, as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.”)

In each age “it’s always been, Jesus’ truth offends.” Paul didn’t give any credit to the flesh. Remember and review, “to the Galatians and all Jesus’ followers Paul wrote.”

(Gal 2:20-21; “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ LIVES in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside God’s grace, because if righteousness could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing!”)

Practicing law from a fleshly outlook, amounts to self righteousness. Faithfully practicing God’s Truth “through a changed nature is by His grace and mercy.” Living His Way with a circumcised heart, is through His spirit living within! No amount of doing good in the flesh can change our inherited nature.

(2Cor 6:11-13; “We have spoken freely to you Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide to you. Our affection for you is not restricted but you are restricted in your affections for us. Now as a fair exchange – I speak as to my children – open wide your hearts to us also.”) Remember, Paul had shared his sinful past, particularly his persecuting God’s Way people. Openness and sharing his conversion experience was good witnessing. Minute details of past sins aren’t necessary for opening one’s heart.

9/18/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 18, 5779 until sunset

To: 19,677 subscribers and others called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son. Heirs with Abraham.

Continuing from 2Corinthians 5:5 and Philippians 2:13, we’re blessed when we understand “God calls, opens minds, gives desire - effort and imputes His spirit of truth to our minds. Such knowledge firmly planted, we should know we’re on God’s potter wheel, in preparation by grace and for His purpose.

(2Cor 5:6-10; Therefore we are always full of courage and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth we are absent from the Lord – for we live by faith, not by sight. (8) Thus we are full of courage and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So then whether we are alive or away, we make it our ambition to please Him. (10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil.)

So let’s allow the Hebrews writer define this faith! (“Faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see. For by it the people of old received God’s commendation.” Heb 11:1-2) Our gifted Christ like nature’s ambition is to please God! Know His Message and Him as He’s manifested Himself to be! (Review Col 1:15-20.)

Heavenly Father: help us know “You’re the vine and we a branch” that our life is in You. Know we need Your strength to stand for Your truth. Help us teach without offending as much as possible. This we pray in the holy name of our coming King & Shepherd. AMEN.

If we could ask Jesus’ apostles, “what’s the greatest miracle gifted to you personally?” Each would likely say “His gifting His Holy Spirit and His opening my mind to understand the scriptures”

They were gifted with the Holy Spirit while purposely locking themselves in a room for fear of the people. When Jesus miraculously appeared, showed His hands, breathed on them and said “received the Holy Spirit.” Jesus opened their minds to understand the scriptures.

(John 20:22; “And after He said this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit..(23) If you, “apostles” forgive anyone’s sins, they’re forgiven; if you retain anyone’s sins, they’re retained.”)

Explaining how people are, “born from above” Jesus said in effect “as the wind blows” you don’t know it’s origin or destinations, so it is with everyone born of the spirit.

(John 3:7-8; “Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”) On the same occasion when the apostles were locked in, Luke recorded Jesus’ appearing.

(Luke 24: 44-49; Then He said to them “These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about Me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled.” (45) Then He opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day and repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. (48) You, “apostles” are witnesses of these things. (49) And look, I am sending you what My Father promised. But stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”)

Before the apostles’ minds were opened, Jesus had explained how it happens that people are “born from above” with these words; “as the wind blows, and you don’t know it’s origin or destinations, so it is with everyone born of the spirit “

Without question, when we understand spiritual matters, we know they’re gifted. When God’s family “His church’s characteristics” are revealed, know it’s to a people who’re miraculously “born from above.” Likewise, spiritual understanding is a calling.

Reviewing His foreshadowing

God divided each year into three seasons that foreshadows His Way and plan for His people. (see Leviticus 23:4)

(First of three seasons is “Passover and Unleavened Bread” set aside for remembering “Jesus’ blood sacrifice is for the remission of sin” reflection on our past, the cause of our turning to His holiness and from practices invented to honor imaginary gods.) There is no room for mixing pagan customs with His holy seasons. We need to reflect on God’s definition of sin during this season. We need to understand First John 3:4; “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; indeed, sin is lawlessness.” Lawless in God’s View.

(Second season is “Pentecost - Feast of First Fruits.” The word “Pentecost” means ‘to count fifty.’ It’ fifty days after the weekly Sabbath that falls during “Feast of Unleavened Bread.” Thus Pentecost is always on the first day of the week. Pentecost always looked forward to “foreshadowing” the miraculous gifting of God’s spirit of truth to His called out people. On that Pentecost following Jesus’ ascension, “the first miraculous gifting of His spirit as preplanned.” That gifted spirit makes His called out people atOne with Himself. Pentecost always looked forward to the birth date of Jesus’ New Covenant Church and more fulfillments are coming.

(Third season, significantly is in God‘s seventh month, containing four of God’s seven annual Sabbaths. The number seven has to do with completion. The season includes the day of “Trumpets” ‘1st day of God’s seventh month.’ “Atonement” ’the tenth day of God’s seventh month.’ A set aside day to afflict ‘fast’ our bodies and think about our ‘atonement’ with God. “Feast of Tabernacles - Feast of Booths” is the fifteenth day of God’s seventh month. Reminding us of our temporary bodies life, celebrate looking forward to the coming thousand years of peace on earth with Satan bound. “The Last Great Day” is the eighth day of the feast, the twenty second day of God’s seventh month.

The whole season looks forward to resurrections, knowledge of God covering the earth as water the sea, peace, righteousness and final judgment. Jesus’ prophecy through Joel will be fulfilled, “all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Physical resurrections, Israel delivered to their former borders and their sins removed. New Jerusalem’s coming down with God the Father and God the Son’s yielding to Him. New Jerusalem’s size is revealed to John as being about fourteen hundred miles square and fourteen hundred miles tall.

(Revelations 21:9-27; “Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues came and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb!” So he took me away in the Spirit to a huge, majestic mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God. The city possesses the glory of God; its brilliance is like a precious jewel, like a stone of crystal-clear jasper. It has a massive, high wall with twelve gates, with twelve angels at the gates and the names of the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel are written on the gates. There are three gates on the east side, three gates on the north side, three gates on the south side and three gates on the west side. The wall of the city has twelve foundations and on them are the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. The angel who spoke to me had a golden measuring rod with which to measure the city and its foundation stones and wall. Now the city is laid out as a square, its length and width the same. He measured the city with the measuring rod at fourteen hundred miles (its length and width and height are equal). He also measured its wall, one hundred forty-four cubits according to human measurement, which is also the angel’s. The city’s wall is made of jasper and the city is pure gold, like transparent glass. The foundations of the city’s wall are decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation is jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates are twelve pearls – each one of the gates is made from just one pearl! The main street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass. Now I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God – the All-Powerful – and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it. Its gates will never be closed during the day (and there will be no night there).

They will bring the grandeur and the wealth of the nations into it, but nothing ritually unclean will ever enter into it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or practices falsehood, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”)

Paul’s two Corinthian letters are written to a people called out to be followers of the Lord Jesus Christ “the God of Abraham.” Specifically Paul’s letters are to the assemblies known as “The Church of God at Corinth” and to all followers of Jesus. The Corinthians were mostly non-Israelites, called out of pagan cultures. The called, heard and believed the good news about Jesus. Before gifted understanding, these people were much like folks in every age. Demonically led by the god of this age, a people worshiping carved images, statutes, imagining traditional gods and looking to the heavenly creations for signs. As in this later age, many set aside the winter solstice as a time to worship their imaginary god.

Understand; “until Jesus is revealed individually” people worship from a fleshly perspective, according to what seems right to the fleshly mind, things of their own creation. The populations at large don’t know, Creator Jesus. The reality of John 1:1-5, Colossians 1:15-20 and Hebrews 1: & 2: aren’t believed. Paul’s commission was and all Christian’s mission is, “attempt to make our Creator God known.”

Continue in Paul’s 2nd letter.

(2Cor 5:11-16; “Therefore, because we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade people, but we are well known to God and I hope we are well known to your consciences too. We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to be proud of us, so that you may be able to answer those who take pride in outward appearance and not in what is in the heart. (13) For if we are out of our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.

Understand, it’s natural that unbelievers look to personalities and to people’s credentials rather than to the message’s reality. Unbelievers will remain confused and blinded until God miraculously reveals Himself.

9/17/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 17, 5779 until sunset

To: 19,650 subscribers and others called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son. Heirs with Abraham.

We’ve dwelt on the difference between “believing IN and believing that” extensively. Attempting to appeal to thinking people’s logic, especially those God is calling in this latter age. (Jesus said, “He must bring others, not of this fold.” Meaning some before the flood, some before the apostolic age and many in the age since His resurrection and ascension. (Matt 19:28-30; “Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth: In the age when all things are renewed, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you ‘apostles’ who’ve followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And whoever has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”) Believers IN are mindful of and believe IN prophecy.

Jesus inspired His prophet Daniel to write about this latter age.

(Daniel 12:1-9; “At that time “the angel” Michael, the great prince who watches over Your people will arise. There will be a time of distress unlike any other from the nation’s beginning up to that time. But at that time Your own people, all those whose names are found written in the book will escape. (2) Many of those who sleep in the dusty ground will awake; some to everlasting life and others to shame and everlasting abhorrence. But the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavenly expanse. And those bringing many to righteousness will be like the stars forever and ever. (4) “But you, Daniel, close up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will dash about, and knowledge will increase.”

(Dan 12:5-9; “I, Daniel watched as two others stood there, one on each side of the river. One said to the man clothed in linen who was above the waters of the river, “When will the end of these wondrous events occur?” Then I heard the man clothed in linen who was over the waters of the river as He raised both his right and left hands to the sky and made an oath by the One who lives forever: “It is for a time, times, and half a time. Then, when the power of the one who shatters the holy people has been exhausted, all these things will be finished.” (8) I heard, but I did not understand. So I said, “Sir, what will happen after these things?” He said, “Go, Daniel. For these matters are closed and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made clean, and refined, but the wicked will go on being wicked. None of the wicked will understand, though the wise will understand. From the time that the daily sacrifice is removed and the abomination that causes desolation is set in place, there are 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits and attains to the 1,335 days. But you should go your way until the end. You will rest and then at the end of the days you will arise to receive what you have been allotted.”)

Deliverance and resurrections has been the message since Adam. At Matthew 24: Jesus alluded to His own prophetic words through Daniel and in Paul’s 2nd letter to God’s church at Corinth, he pointed out that we are not adequate in ourselves “that our adequacy is from God” He makes us adequate to serve based on His spirit that gives eternal life.

Fleshly people attempting to believe IN are denominationalist as those looking to the law for salvation and “deciding for self what’s right, wrong, good and evil.” It amounts to idolatry. Living spiritually in Christ Jesus and being gifted with a love of His Way is eternal life. Review 2Cor 3:4-6.

(2Corinthians 3:7-9; “But if the ministry that produced death – carved in letters on stone tablets – came with glory, so that the Israelites could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face (a glory which was made ineffective), (8) how much more glorious will the ministry of Jesus’ Spirit be? For if there was glory in the ministry that produced condemnation, how much more does the ministry that produces righteousness excel in glory!”) His truth revolves around gifted love of God’s Way.

The life of a Believer IN “a follower of Jesus” is from the gift of knowing we’re “Born from above.” It’s Jesus’ life “His spirit” in us, producing His righteousness, not our own. Gifted love of God’s spiritual law written in our minds is far superior to the written law.

(2Cor 3:10-18; “For indeed, what had been glorious now has no glory because of the tremendously greater glory of what replaced it. For if what was made ineffective came with glory, how much more has what remains come in glory! (12) Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness and not like Moses who used to put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from staring at the result of the glory that was made ineffective. (14) But their minds were closed. For to this very day, the same veil remains when they hear the old covenant read.”) (Who closed their minds? God for His purpose.) (14) It “the veil” has not been removed because only in Christ is it taken away. But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds, but when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom. (18) And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”) God does the UNVEILING!

Believing IN is “having Jesus’ words sown in our hearts and minds.” Gifted with love for His Way. Now consider, is Paul’s letter to the Romans in tune with Jesus’ prophetic words recorded in Matthew 24: and Daniel 12:?

(Romans 11:25-27’ “For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. (27) And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”)

By His grace, God opens minds and saves sinners who’re led to repentance By His grace. God will yet save Israel! (Today’s spiritual Israelites are Christians.) Included in God’s prophetic plan is fleshly non-Israelites, who when converted become spiritual Israelites.

(2Cor 4:1-2; “Therefore since we have this ministry just as God has shown us mercy, we do not become discouraged. (2) But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or distorting the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience before God.”)

There’s glory in a person’s attempt to be a good person in the flesh, but “only through Jesus’ gifted spirit in us” are we able to worship in spirit and truth. ONLY then are we able to see ourselves in His light. Then we’re able to yield to His transformation and put on the image of Jesus.

(2Cor 4:3-6; “But even if our gospel is VEILED, it is veiled ONLY to those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would NOT see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. (6) For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.”) Remember why Jesus said He spoke to the populations in parables?

OUR Creator is all knowing and He’s allowing the god of this age to partially blind, “ultimately for His purpose.”

Before the foundation of the world, God chose Abraham, Moses, David, His apostles and each Believer IN! Jesus’ good news includes the fact that God is righteous and all His Ways are from His foundation of love. His kingdom will be established in spite of the god of this age and mankind’s resistance

(2Cor 4:7-18; “But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair; we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed, always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our body.”

(2Cor 4:11-18; “For we “apostles” who are alive are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our mortal body. As a result, death is at work in us, “we apostles” but life is at work in you, “followers of Jesus.” (13) But since we have the same spirit of faith as that shown in what has been written “I believed; therefore I spoke” we also believe, therefore we also speak. We do so because we know that the One who raised up Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus and will bring us with you into His presence. (15) For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God. (Many last will become first.) Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day. (17) For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.”) Our need? Jesus’ faith in us.

Our temporary fleshly bodies are foreshadowed by the “Feast of Tabernacles” Our fleshly bodies are temporary dwellings and temples of God’s spirit if indeed we believe IN.

(2Corinthians 5:1-4; “For we know that if our earthly house, the tent we live in, is dismantled, we have a building from God, a house not built by human hands, that is eternal in the heavens. (2) For in this earthly house we groan, because we desire to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed, after we have put on our heavenly house, we will not be found naked. (4) For we groan while we are in this tent, since we are weighed down, because we do not want to be unclothed, but clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by, “eternal” life.”) “Our physical body, our earthly house, is made physical - mortal.” Our eternal house is spirit - eternal life.

God does it all

(2Cor 5:5; “Now the One who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment.”) Remember Philippians 2:13? ‘God gives the desire and effort.’ And here at Corinthians 5:5, we see God prepares us. It’s all in the fathering of God, our “being born from above.” Our being fathered is His choice, our being “born from above” is the down payment, a sampling of what is to be!

Spirit of Truth, chapter 18

9/16/19, God’s 6th month, Elul, 16, 5779 until sunset

To: 19,579 subscribers and others called to be atOne with God the Father and God the Son. Heirs with Abraham.

Let’s review the previous study. Paul knew his mission was to lift up Believers IN Jesus through the good news about the Kingdom of God. Jesus, His prophets / apostles never taught immortality was gifted at birth, nor that there’d be some method by which it could be obtained. They did teach the resurrection, deliverance, forgiveness and that God’s promises were perpetual. Even in Adam’s day, Jesus had the seventh from Adam “Enoch” write about God’s judgment.

(Jude 1: Enoch prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His Saints, (15) To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.)

The same Lord God Jesus that inspired Enoch long before the flood came as the prophesied Messiah, “the Lamb of God” willingly shedding His blood for the remission of the world’s sins. He’s coming back with angelic beings and thousands of resurrected Saints to execute the judgment Enoch wrote about. Jesus said; (John 10:(16) And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore My Father love Me, because I lay down My life, that I might take it again.”)

Jesus said, “the only sign to be given regarding His deity would be that He’d be in the heart of the earth as Jonah was in the belly of the large fish “three days and nights, then rise from death.” AND the Psalmist David ask, “does the One who disciplines the nations not punish? He’s the One who imparts knowledge to human beings!” Psalms 94:)

Paul’s letter to his young co-worker “Timothy” describes God’s gifted spirit to Believers IN.

(2Timothy 1:6-14; “Because of this I remind you to rekindle God’s gift that you possess through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. (8) So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me a prisoner for His sake, but by God’s power accept your share of suffering for the gospel. He is the One who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not based on our works but on His own purpose and grace, granted to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but now made visible through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. He has broken the power of death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel!”)

Jesus’ apostle to gentiles, Israelites and kings was inspired to build churches of God, teach “the Kingdom of God” and warn people not to teach beyond what’s written.

(1Cor 4:6-13; “I have applied these things to myself and Apollos because of you, brothers and sisters, so that through us you may learn “not to go beyond what is written” so that none of you will be puffed up in favor of the one against the other. (7) For who concedes you any superiority? What do you have that you did not receive?”) None of us have superiority beyond what’s been inspired through His prophets, apostles, Creator and Sustainer “Jesus.” Look at the amount that’s been said and written that goes beyond truth.

(1Cor 4:14-21; I am not writing these things to shame you, but to correct you as my dear children. For though you may have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, because I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. (16) I encourage you then, be imitators of me. For this reason, I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and faithful son in the Lord. He will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church. Some have become arrogant “puffed up” as if I were not coming to you. But I will come to you soon, IF the Lord is willing and I will find out not only the talk of these arrogant people, but also their power. For the kingdom of God is demonstrated not in idle talk but with power. What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline or with love and a spirit of gentleness?”)

Consider, what we should believe IN and practice to be imitators of Jesus? Jesus inspired Paul to write the seven basic church doctrines at Hebrews 6: (“Therefore we must (7) progress beyond the elementary instructions about Christ and move on to maturity, not laying this foundation again: (1) repentance from dead works and (2) faith in God, (3) teaching about baptisms, (4) laying on of hands, (5) resurrection of the dead, and (6) eternal judgment. And this is what we intend to do, if God permits.” Heb 6:1-3)

These seven doctrines are for followers of Jesus’ foundational beliefs. We “born from above people” are gifted with power to overcome demonic temptations, our fleshly nature, grow in God’s grace and knowledge of His Ways.

The called who’re being saved are compelled to continue Jesus’ work. We who’re being saved need to know The Message, so as not to be deceived. Remember Jesus’ prophetic message about the end of this age? Jesus’ apostles came to Him privately asking about the end of this age. (In private Jesus either did not speak in parables or He explained His parables for His apostles understanding. (see Matt 24:3) Jesus speaking of the very end, before His return, among other things, said: (“Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. For then there will be great suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the world until now, or ever will happen. And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the Elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe him. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect” Matt 24:20-24)

Another part of the mystery is that Jesus’ called Elect know His message. It isn’t possible to deceive His Elect because His message is revealed. (False massagers will include a deceiver giving life to an image; other miracles will be performed to deceive “if possible, even the Elect.) We need to know, Satan can individually or through demonically inspired persons do miracles.

Sharing the seven basic doctrines of The Message from Hebrews 6: should cause in depth study. Consider why Jesus said “Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.”

Our work isn’t about attempted to build an organization, “we do ask for prayer support for our efforts. Our commentaries aren’t political, nor do we have an axe to grind. We mix Jesus and His apostles’ scriptural teachings on like subjects as we go through the bible book by book.” We do repeat and expound subject by subject. Mindful that God’s truth offends the world at large “unbelievers” - denominational minded. Called subscribers aren’t offended but are prayerful supporters of God’s Way. Jesus was not making idle talk when He taught and inspired His apostles to write that Satan was the god of this world. (Demonic philosophies now reach every crevice of this world’s system; making God’s Way appear archaic to the so called educated.) Today, no government on earth is patterning God’s standard of rule for it‘s people. Satan has the whole world, religions and governments practicing similar pagan customs as the gentiles were practicing in Moses’ day. Document with a few internet searches.

We recommend our “Jesus inspired paper back from Amazon” It’s particularly valuable when two or three gather in Jesus’ name for an orderly study. It’s titled, “Jesus’ Good News” as revealed to Peter & Paul.
