    From last study’s review we learned from Rom 9: that each unbelieving person is considered dead in their sins/transgressions. From our inherited from Adam nature we’re sinners with uncircumcised hearts until God calls and miraculously make us ‘born from above.’ Jesus answered Nicodemus in regarding to ‘being born from above;’ (”I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”) John 3:5-8.

    No parable here, Nicodemus and each called out person needs to know how God makes us ‘born from above.’ Remember Jesus breathed on His apostles, giving them to understand the scriptures. It was in a private room, behind locked doors that Jesus said to them again, (John 20:21-23;”Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And after He said this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; if you retain anyone’s sins, they are retained.”) Being ‘born from above’ is a God gifted miracle, in that we don’t see or understand how it came to be, except that our outlook, desires and efforts are changed to a oneness with God, the likeness of Jesus’.

    On that first Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension, the third of seven annual Sabbaths, many were spiritually filled, ‘born from above’ God’s gifted spirit was producing the same desire and effort to convert. On that Pentecost Sabbath God allowed the spirit to be seen and heard. (Acts 2:1-4; And when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a violent wind blowing came from heaven and filled the entire house where they were sitting. And tongues spreading out like a fire appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak in other languages as the Spirit enabled them.) God miraculously caused His spirit to be heard and seen in the likeness of tongues of fire resting on each. Recipients of God’s spirit are miraculously ‘born from above’ and were no longer considered dead in their transgressions, but alive in Christ.

    Heavenly Father: please turn many to Your Way and shorten this demonic influenced age. Make each free in Christ and grant Your gift of turning. Reveal Your Truth to each genuine seeker. In the name and Jesus’ gifted nature we ask. Amen.

    Jesus’ word, His prophets and apostles’ letters were and are to ‘churches of God,’- ‘recipients of God’s spirit.’ Messages intended for His chosen people and never for the various divided schools of theologies’ scrutiny.

    Let’s review a portion of Jesus’ apostle Paul‘s letter from last study, to a people whose sins were remitted, those whose lives were hidden in Christ. (Col 3:4-5; You have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ (who is your life) appears, then you too will be REVEALED in glory with Him. So put to death whatever in your NATURE belongs to the earth: sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.) You above means ‘you who’re converted to believe in Jesus’ message.’

    (Remember Paul explained to the Colossians church and all Believers, that each of them lived as unbelievers before being called. But now you Christians have put off the old man, old nature, old outlook, with its former practices, and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in you, in knowledge according to the image of the One ‘Jesus’ who created it, the new nature. Col 3:6-11) Believing in people will be revealed in glory with Jesus when He comes!

    When people recognize Paul’s letter to the Colossians is truth, and have a desire to change their outlook to mimic God’s Way, they should recognize their thinking didn’t come from within themselves, but from God. When that’s the case, it’s time to recognize we’re being renewed in knowledge and the likeness of Jesus.”

   These studies are for the purpose of grounding us, helping God’s called people recognize their gifted power in Jesus and put down root that is unshakeable. (Review Col 3:6-11) At this point one’s work of overcoming to the end begins.

    (Col 3:12-17; Therefore, as the Elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a heart of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others. And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond. Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact CALLED as one body to this peace) and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Jesus.”)

    As an Elect’s of God people have gifted power to overcome lustful pulls of the flesh, be thankful and trust God to grow us in the image of Jesus. We’re called to clothe, immerse ourselves and develop Jesus’ characteristics as the Elect of God.

    One of Jesus’ parables likened His kingdom to a wedding feast. The first invited had other things to do, so the King went out to the wayside and invited as many as would come. When a person came unprepared the King was not pleased. See Matt 22:13-14. Then the king said to his attendants, ‘Tie him up hand and foot and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth! For, many are called but few are chosen.

    Many call themselves Christian for the wrong reason when they don’t have a loving desire to obey Jesus. To love Jesus is to obey Him! Calling one’s self a Christian and not yielding to God’s Way, is likened to the person who came to the King’s feast unprepared. Unprepared people don’t know God’s agenda. Only have a self serving agenda to join a church and fit with likeminded folks. Such follow the god of denomination’s imagination. Remember a deceived person don’t know they are. Satan has people in many cults finding their comfort zone in religions. But God says, prove ALL things and hold to what is good. People will be judged for lack of obedience to what they understand.

    When people understand that JESUS is the head of His church, ‘the called out Elect,’ that His church is characterizes as His bride, and His teaching began in Genesis with Moses’ writings they’re probably God called. Jesus characterizes Himself as the Husband who gave His life for His bride, as the Son of God submitting to his Father in all things. The Colossians letter is Jesus teaching through His Apostle Paul; how called people should live. To fashion and practice living Jesus’ Way spiritually while in the flesh, as temples of His Spirit. God’s church pattern commands how families, businesses and employee relationships should be.

    (Col 3:18-4:1; Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be embittered against them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this is pleasing in the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, so they will not become disheartened. Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every respect, not only when they are watching – like those who are strictly people-pleasers – but with a sincere heart, fearing the Lord. Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people, because you know that you will receive your inheritance from the Lord as the reward. Serve the Lord Christ. For the one who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there are no exceptions. Masters, treat your slaves with justice and fairness, because you know that you also have a master in heaven.)

    It’s God’s structure for peace, harmony and His Way, the only true freedom. In so called free societies, unbelieving people have problems with Jesus’ teaching through Paul regarding equality and rights. Few realize, all rights come from God. Writers of the United States constitution recognized this fact. Jesus teaches, true freedom is being obedient to Him. Jesus is Truth and He lived the example.

    Under God’s oracles gifted to Israel and taught in Paul’s day, benevolent servitude was the welfare program and should be today. God designed an equitable program for His people, whereby a slave could work toward freedom. In this latter age governments turn all but the very rich into slaves of the state. Laws are passed to take away God given rights, give unorthodox rights at other’s expense. Such laws weakens character, takes away initiatives and imitative learning skills. In God’s Word are all the riches, knowledge and humility intended for His people. Governments don’t seem to realize that we have a Master in heaven. Ordinary people are treated as subjects and property of the state, paying taxes designed to help the affluent and welfare recipients. In most nations people are practically in bondage to government from cradle to the grave. For Israelites servitude protected the unfortunate, those who fell on bad times and never condoned a life time of servitude except by choice.  

    World’s gods are as many as their imagination. People speak in terms of, ‘my faith’ with the attitude that their personal faith is okay with God. Such thinking is clearly from minds that don’t believe IN God as He’s manifested in Holy Scripture. Believing is to look to Him for direction, beliefs, faith and truth regarding what’s right, wrong, good and evil. When a person says ‘my faith allows me’ they’re demonstrating to themselves that they’re an idolatrous people. Satan is the author of all such thinking and the many demonic deceptions the world does not know. The mystery of Jesus’ gospel to the world is; God’s spirit in people, the mind of Christ imputed, gifted to one’s mind, without which we can’t do the following.

     (Col 4:2-6; Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time pray for us too, that God may open a door for the message so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may make it known as I should. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.)  

    No apostle ever said, my faith, but emphasized Jesus’ gifted faith.  Jesus repeatedly said, I speak as the Father has told Me and followers of Jesus must look to Him for the way. Don’t refer selves as Christian if Jesus’ faith isn’t in you.

    In this age those who God hasn’t called and chosen to covenant with, are counted AS DEAD in their transgressions. That is, they’re un-circumcised of heart, in their fleshly nature, until God intervenes. God leads the called to a spiritual circumcision of heart, a conversion and conviction of mind regarding sin. It’s being born from above, a supernatural spiritually gifted changed outlook, -repentance. Each called Believer IN is made alive in Jesus by His forgiving their transgressions. Through Jesus’ gifting His faith, people respond to His love revealed by and through His blood sacrifice for the remission of sin. We must know God has a loving plan for the world and particularly His chosen. His prophets and David foretold Jesus’ deeds and accomplishment.

   The name Israel, means ‘God fights’ or ‘those God fights for’, but not all Israelites are truly Israel and not all Abraham’s descendants are called by promise. Read the following proofs prayerfully. See Rom 9:5-29.   His View Assemblies

    (Romans 9:5-7; To them belong the patriarchs, and from them, by human descent, came the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever! Amen. It is not as though the word of God had failed. For not all those who are descended from Israel are truly Israel, nor are all the children Abraham’s true descendants; rather “through Isaac will your descendants be counted.”) See Gen 21:12.

   (Rom 9:8-9; This means it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God; rather, the children of promise are counted as descendants. For this is what the promise declared: “About a year from now I will return and Sarah will have a son.”) See Gen 18:10-14.  

   (Rom 9:10-13; Not only that, but when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our ancestor Isaac — even before they were born or had done anything good or bad (so that God’s purpose in election would stand, not by works but by His calling) - it was said to her, “The older will serve the younger,” just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”) See Mal 1:2-3.

   (Rom 9:14-17; What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not! For He says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then, it does not depend on human desire or exertion, but on God who shows mercy. For the scripture says to Pharaoh: “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may demonstrate My power in you, and that My name may be proclaimed in all the earth.”) See Exodus 9:16. God’s kingdom, His church, doesn’t depend on people choosing repentance or deciding for themselves, but on God showing mercy, His choosing.

    (Rom 9:18-24; So then, God has mercy on whom He chooses to have mercy, and He hardens whom He chooses to harden. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has ever resisted His will?” But who indeed are you — a mere human being — to talk back to God? Does what is molded say to the molder, “Why have you made me like this?” Has the potter no right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special use and another for ordinary use? But what if God, willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make known His power, has endured with much patience the objects of wrath prepared for destruction? And what if He is willing to make known the wealth of His glory on the objects of mercy that He has prepared beforehand for glory - even us, whom He has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?)

    (Gen 9:25-26; As He also says in Hosea: “I will call those who were not My people, and I will call her who was unloved, ‘My beloved.” “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,‘ there they will be called ’sons of the living God.‘ “) Study Hosea 1&2.

    (Rom 9:27-29; And Isaiah cries out on behalf of Israel, “Though the number of the children of Israel are as the sand of the sea, only the remnant will be saved,  for the Lord will execute His sentence on the earth completely and quickly.” Just as Isaiah predicted, “If the Lord of armies had not left us descendants, we would have become like Sodom, and we would have resembled Gomorrah.”) See Isa 1:9

    As we westerners say, the bottom line is, all the world’s populations would go the demonic way except for God’s calling His select. People can’t choose to be converted to God’s way, He does the choosing in this age, and likely the age to come.

      The Galatians, Ephesians and Roman congregations of God, Paul worked with were invaded by people with personal agendas, imposing their beliefs, making merchandise of others. These unknowingly or not, are tools of Satan. But understand; it’s a natural human inherited characteristic to impose wills. Like people in every age, some of these intruders wanted stricter rules and others wanted to abandon all rule. But Paul is teaching the Colossians and all Believers that God is the judge and that we need to remain true to the things learned through His revealed teaching. It’ll be an ongoing problem until Jesus’ return. People naturally like to judge others who think different. So where does this nature come from? Is it not from the idolatrous disobedient little god mentality we inherited and Satan exploited? The natural mind thinks like Eve and Adam, I can decide for myself what’s right, wrong, good and evil. Speaking to God’s called, on the subject, Paul wrote.

     (Col 2:16-19; Therefore do not let anyone judge you with respect to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, new moon, or Sabbath days – these are only the SHADOW of the things to come, but the reality is Christ! Let no one who delights in humility and the worship of angels pass judgment on you. That person goes on at great lengths about what he has SUPPOSEDLY seen, but he is puffed up with empty notions by his fleshly mind. He has not HELD FAST to THE HEAD from whom the whole BODY, supported and knit together through its ligaments and sinews, grows with a growth that is from God.)

      There’s also a genuine humility through one’s believing God about what we were before His calling, and what He has done by intervening on our behalf. There’s also a prideful humility among the deceived who naturally don’t know they are. We who’re called shouldn’t allow peoples’ judgment regarding revealed understanding about God’s Sabbaths and calendar. As Paul wrote in verse 16 above, these are shadows of things to come. We shouldn’t worship in Pharisee fashion, but look to Christ Jesus.  Believers are led to hold FAST to Jesus, He’s OVER the whole body, the CHURCH. Pharisee fashion puts people in Paul‘s category before his conversion. The key, remember and observe times as commanded, but not as Pharisee’s did.

     God’s weekly Sabbath foreshadows Jesus’ millennial reign. A time of rest from doing works of the flesh, from the demonic pulls on our inherited from Adam nature. Annual Sabbaths foreshadow events pertaining to prophecies and the unfolding of God’s master plan. Some unbelievers use these Colossian verses, attempting to teach that Jesus is about lawlessness.

    To many Jesus’ fulfillments means doing away with the law. These are fleshly minded. Believers are yielded to the mind of Jesus with a gifted desire to obey His truth. Mindful of God’s individual spiritual guidance with His gifted faith in Jesus.

 Knowing God is our judge, thus remaining faithful to Jesus is His will. Not faith in the eating of certain foods or keeping Sabbaths FOR SALVATION. Paul is asking these Colossians to stay true to Jesus’ doctrine, JESUS is reality. Others claimed to have been guided by angels, seeing visions and such. Such are founded on empty notions of fleshly minds. Remember what Jesus inspired Isaiah to pen? (If they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20) And Paul’s saying, (all these things are written for our learning, in these latter days! For, everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope. Rom 15:4) Faith IN Jesus produces endurance, scripture study with meditation keeps hope alive,- encourages. To the called out believers IN, Paul continues to coach.

    (Col 2:20-23; If you have died with Christ to the elemental spirits of the world, why do you submit to them as though you lived in the world? “Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!” These are all destined to perish with use, founded as they are on human commands and teachings. Even though they have the appearance of wisdom with their self-imposed worship and false humility achieved by an unsparing treatment of the body -a wisdom with no true value –they in reality result in fleshly indulgence.)

     How about worshiping of and keeping times God has not set aside? God teaches us to prove all things.  We should ask, what are the origins of things the world holds to and likes to follow? Remember Jesus said His followers are in the world but not of the world. The elemental spirits and people led by them are of the world, they want to be looked up to, they want power, by putting on a facade of fleshly humility they deceive through vain philosophy. All do’s and don’ts people are prone to believe in for their saving, have been exposed by Jesus. Only through believing IN Jesus, believing IN His Way, are people gifted with eternal life, saved.

    (The Apostle John penned Jesus’ words, “The one who rejects Me and does not accept My words has a judge; the Word I have spoken will judge him at the last day. For I have not spoken from My own authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has commanded Me what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is ETERNAL LIFE. Thus the things I say, I say just as the Father has told Me.” John 12:48-50) Now Paul gives the definition of idolatry.

     (Col 3:1-5; Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Keep thinking about things above, NOT things on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ (who is your life) appears, then you too will be REVEALED in glory with Him. So put to death whatever in your NATURE belongs to the earth; sexual immorality, impurity, shameful passion, evil desire, and greed which is idolatry.)

     These things are in our inherited nature, from Adam. To be right with God, He miraculously changes our nature, fathers us and makes us in reality, His own. To have an outlook like Jesus‘, we must be born again. We must not allow our minds to dwell on earthly, vain and self serving things, but on Jesus, His deity, His promises and thus grow in the likeness of Him. JESUS is the Christian’s LIFE. Through Jesus’ gifted faith we have power to overcome to the end. Mindful that the old inherited from Adam nature, belongs to the earth

    (Col 3:6-11; Because of these things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience. You also lived your lives in this way at one time, when you used to live among them. But now, put off all such things as anger, rage, malice, slander, abusive language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another since you have put off the old man with its practices and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the One “Jesus” who created it. Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all.)

    All are born in sin, children of disobedience until God calls and reveals Himself through Jesus.

    The smarter, more intellectual a person thinks them self to be, the more likely they are to choose what’s right, wrong, good and evil. It’s that nature in people the serpent used to attracted Eve and cause her to choose disobedience, and why God inspired Paul to write, (1Cor 1:25-31; For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were born to a privileged position. But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong.) Does not those choosing their religion have an opposite view?

    (God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, so that no one can boast in His presence. He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”) US, means followers of Jesus.  When we have a relationship with Jesus, God the Father chose us and He’s the reason. Jesus is righteousness, sanctification, ‘Our being set aside’ and a redeeming of His followers that God chose for Himself.

    Peter was inspired to say, and Luke inspired to record his quoting Moses and the prophets. (Acts 3:21-26; This One, heaven must receive until the time all things are restored, which God declared from times long ago through His holy prophets. Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers. You must obey Him in everything He tells you. Every person who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed from the people.’ All the prophets, from Samuel, and those who followed, have spoken about and announced these days. You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.’)

    YOU, means you Israelites. God the Father raised up His Son and sent Him FIRST to you, Israelites, to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities.

     From other scripture we learn, God first sent His Son and Jesus first sent His apostles to the Israelites, later to non-Israelites. As Jesus predicted and Matthew recorded, (Matt 24: this latter age is likened to times before the flood.)

    To keep indebted government’s economies and religious organizations going Satan inspires busy celebrations times. Insignificant to God times, but important to this world’s system of things for keeping people in darkness about Jesus’ coming kingdom.

    Jesus said, (Matt 24:36-39; But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven – except the Father alone. For, just like the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. For in those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. And they knew nothing until the flood came and took them all away. It will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man.)

    The dead in Christ will be resurrected to Jesus’ likeness when He returns. People alive at the time, is who Jesus is referring to. When folks not in Christ, breath their last, it’s their taking away, but not necessarily their end, physical resurrections and judgments are prophesied. People who never convert to a believing in Jesus outlook will die a second and final death. Review Revelations 21:7-8.

    Think of the useless efforts people put into celebrating times and things appealing to the flesh, compared to times God set aside for their good. Times, pointing to, foreshadowing, the way of salvation, Jesus’ return, judgment, Satan bound, and New Jerusalem coming down. God’s set aside Sabbaths look to all these. One day people will understand the insignificance of their chosen life practices, and many will be led to repentance for having gone the way that seemed right to their fleshly nature.

    The following is not intended as an exact quote. A reporter of sorts, named, Jane Clayton, ask Billy Graham’s daughter, Ann; ‘how could God allow these bad things to happen? Her response was that she believed God was saddened as we are about such. Being the gentleman God is, I believe He has calmly backed away. How can we expect God to bless us when we constantly ask Him to leave us alone?’ Obviously she and many aren’t privileged to have Abraham, Jacob, Moses and Isaiah’s God revealed.

    (Isaiah 40:25-29; To whom can you compare Me? Whom do I resemble?” says the Holy One. Look up at the sky! Who created all these heavenly lights? He is the One who leads out their ranks; He calls them all by name. Because of His absolute power and awesome strength, not one of them is missing. Why do you say, Jacob, Why do you say, Israel, “The LORD is not aware of what is happening to me, My God is not concerned with my vindication”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is an Eternal God, the creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to His wisdom. He gives strength to those who are tired; to the ones who lack power, He gives renewed energy.) Isaiah continues telling of God’s choosing to give perpetual love to Jacob’s family.

    (Isaiah 46:3-12; Listen to me, O family of Jacob, all you who are left from the family of Israel, you who have been carried from birth, you who have been supported from the time you left the womb. Even when you are old, I will take care of you, even when you have gray hair, I will carry you. I made you and I will support you; I will carry you and rescue you. To whom can you compare and liken Me? Tell Me whom you think I resemble, so we can be compared! Those who empty out gold from a purse and weigh out silver on the scale hire a metal smith, who makes it into a god. They then, bow down and worship it. They put it on their shoulder and carry it; they put it in its place and it just stands there; it does not move from its place. Even when someone cries out to it, it does not reply; it does not deliver him from his distress. Remember this, so you can be brave! Think about it, you rebels! Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like Me, who announces the end from the beginning and reveals beforehand what has not yet occurred, who says, ‘My plan will be realized, I will accomplish what I desire,’ who summons an eagle from the east, from a distant land, one who carries out My plan. Yes, I have decreed, yes, I will bring it to pass; I have formulated a plan, yes, I will carry it out. Listen to Me, you stubborn people, you who distance yourself from doing what is right.)

    The whole world has become as Babylon, meaning confusion, we’re to spiritually go out from such a system. (Isaiah 48:12-16; “Listen to me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I summoned!     (Isa 48:17-19; This is what the LORD, your Protector, says, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you how to succeed, who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had obeyed My commandments, prosperity would have flowed to you like a river, deliverance would have come to you like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would have been as numerous as sand, and your children like its granules. Their name would not have been cut off and eliminated from My presence.)

    (Isa 48:20-22; Leave Babylon! Flee from the Babylonians! Announce it with a shout of joy! Make this known! Proclaim it throughout the earth! Say, ‘The LORD protects His servant Jacob. They do not thirst as He leads them through dry regions; He makes water flow out of a rock for them; He splits open a rock and water flows out.’ There will be no prosperity for the wicked,” says the LORD.)

    Throughout the ages, each society has their evil. In our age, to my memory, Satan’s demonic deceptions has caused chaos, school shooting and riots in our streets. The causes are Satan instituted-inspired. Madeline Murray O’Hare didn’t want prayer in schools and our societies said, OK. Someone then said, don’t read the Ten Commandments in school and our societies said, OK. Dr. Benjamin Spock said, stop spanking children because it will alter their self esteem and our societies said, OK. Now people wonder why whole societies don’t know right from wrong. Funny, how we trash God’s Way and wonder why the world is going to proverbial hell. Lewd, vulgar, obscene jokes and news articles go forward in cyber space, while God’s Way is shunned. People are concerned about what others’ think, but not concerned about what God thinks. No nation or people can survive long without God’s intervening.

    Whether Ann Graham and the Pope’s words regarding God are recorded accurately or not; such thinking depicts the religious world’s notion of Him, and sheds light on Satan’s influence. A majority seem to think of God as a saddened old gentleman. God’s example throughout history is; He does turn His back and allows disobedient people go the way that seems right, until His appointed intervening time. However that’s only a tip of this world’s problem. Satan is the real problem, camouflaging Jesus’ teaching regarding people’s need of a nature change. God’s planned intervention is on the horizon.

    Growing in knowledge of God’s Way and overcoming our fleshly inherited nature is the desire God gives His chosen. When non-Israelites were gifted with these desires, ‘Israelites’ - tribe of Judea particular, gave them problems over things like circumcision. Israelites motives were from the foundation of, believing IN the law, to the degree of worship. Not understanding spiritual circumcision of heart, the law’s spiritual significance and spiritual magnifications. In part, because of their inherited nature, core beliefs regarding the law.

     From our fleshly nature, we’re motivated with beliefs attained through parents, teachers, education, society, and evolving popular traditions that’s supported by the media etc. These gradually shape most people’s thinking, while others are molded to the hardcore strictness of rule keeping, such as the caliphates. Consider Paul’s motivation after Jesus’ calling. He explained to the converted Colossians.

    (Col 2:12-15; Having been buried with Jesus in baptism, you also have been raised with him through your faith in the power of God who raised Jesus from the dead. And even though you were DEAD in your transgressions and in the un-circumcision of your flesh, Jesus nevertheless made you alive with Him, having forgiven all your transgressions. He has destroyed what was against us, a certificate of indebtedness expressed in decrees opposed to us. He has taken it away by nailing it to the cross. Disarming the rulers and authorities, He has made a public disgrace of them, triumphing over them by the cross.)

   When a person is called and gifted with repentance, God makes that one alive in Himself. The Colossians and we who believed in Jesus, mentally and spiritually buried the old self and are raised to a newness of life in Him.

    Back to Colossians 2:1-5. (For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those who have not met me face to face. My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that assurance brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this so that no one will deceive you through arguments that sound reasonable. For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your morale and the firmness of your faith in Christ.)

     Denominations make many arguments sound reasonable to our fleshly mind. Its how, most any fluent speaker can influence. What were some of the arguments deceivers brought to the Colossians? (1) I have as much education as that Paul fellow, and also an Israelite. (2) It isn’t reasonable that any knowledge must be gifted. (3) God’s kingdom is no mystery, if whoever will may come. 

    God’s callings, choosing, opening minds, revealing Himself and speaking in parables is in part because of people’s desire to decide for themselves, what’s, right, wrong, good and evil. (Paul is saying, no one can deceive through false arguments, once the mystery of God’s kingdom is revealed, so stay true to Jesus’ message through me.) Perhaps Paul explained better to the Corinthians.

    (1Cor 2:10-13; God has REVEALED these to us by the spirit. For the spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the things of a man EXCEPT mans spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God EXCEPT by the spirit OF GOD. Now we have not RECEIVED the spirit of the world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may KNOW the things that are freely given to us by God. And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the spirit, EXPLAINING SPIRITUAL THINGS TO SPIRITUAL PEOPLE.) By US and WE, Paul means, we who’re called, and to whom Jesus and God the Father is revealed.

    Unbelievers argue their theory through denominational education, their studies in Greek and Hebrew, thinking it sufficient for spiritual understanding. God’s spirit and the Holy Scriptures condemn this argument as being worldly and instinctively fleshly. Overwhelming lesson here is, don’t debate with worldly minded folks. Only God can convert.

    (Colossians 2:6-8; Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him and firm in your faith just as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Be careful not to allow anyone to captivate you through an empty, deceitful philosophy that is according to human traditions and the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.)

This is a problem for religious unbelievers who lean on intellect. They’re captivated by so called higher education and teaching one philosophy is as good as another. Saying too, each person has the right to worship according to their individual understanding. Wrong: that’s idolatry and within its self, an abomination.

    Jesus said it; “broad is the way and MANY find it.” See Matthew 7:13.  Granted, many would give their lives for their beliefs: Convinced of their doctrine and sincerely deceived.  It’s so true, deceived people don’t know they are, and most do not care. Someone put the following on face book some time back, claiming it a quote from the Pope. May not be true, but it’s the way many do think. (It isn’t necessary to believe in God to be a good person. The traditional notion of God is outdated. One can be spiritual but not religious. It isn’t necessary to go to church and give money, for many, nature can be their church. Some of the best people in history didn’t believe in God, while some of the worst deeds were done in His name.) Many wars have been fought over demonic religions...  For the many the definition of church is; an organizations or building. Politically and fleshly speaking they’re accurate. But not parallel with Jesus and His apostles teaching on the subject. Jesus said, “not one is good but God.” See Matt 19:17. YES, the traditional notion of God is outdated among governments, and worldly religions, including protestant denominations. Not true with Jesus, His apostles, and His spiritually called out followers through gifted knowing faith. Jesus’ apostle Paul defines God’s church as; a people in whom God’s spirit dwells.

    (1Cor 3:16-18; Do you not know that you, are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If someone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, which is what you are. Guard against self-deception, each of you. If someone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become foolish so that he can become wise.) YOU, means you followers of Jesus. If faith were in education, denominationalism and personalities, rather than God‘s inspired word; they’d be liabilities.

    (1Cor 3:19-23; For, the wisdom of this age is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.” And again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about mere mortals! For everything belongs to you, whether Paul, or Apollos or Cephas or the world, or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.)  Quotes from 1Cor 6:19, Job 5:13 and, Psalms 94:11.

     Elementary students of the Holy Scriptures can judge whether one is a Believer. A Believer is one whose outlook is shaped by God’s imputed spirit to the mind...  (Romans 8:5-8; For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so.)

    (Rom 8:9; Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to Him.)

    (Rom 8:10-11; But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of, righteousness. Moreover if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the One who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.) YOU, means you followers of Jesus, and RIGHTEOUSNESS means JESUS’ righteousness.

    (Rom 8:12-17; So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh (for if you live according to the flesh, you will die) but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit its self bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with Him so we may also be glorified with Him.)  We put to death the deeds of the body by God’s spirit through Jesus. Fleshly speaking, a good person is a law abiding citizen and neighbor. However even followers of Jesus aren’t good, in and of themselves. Perhaps Paul defines the church better to the Corinthians and all Believers.

    (2Cor 13:5-9; Put yourselves to the test to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize regarding yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you – unless, indeed, you fail the test! And I hope that you will realize that we have not failed the test! Now we pray to God that you may not do anything wrong, not so that we may appear to have passed the test, but so that you may do what is right even if we may appear to have failed the test. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the sake of the truth. For we, rejoice whenever we are weak, but you are strong. And we pray for this: that you may become fully qualified.) WE, means WE APOSTLES. Jesus’ apostles never allowed worship of themselves and insisted people prove all things. Relying on God and leaning on Him to qualify, grow and on His molding us in His spiritual image.

    (Philippians 2:5-8; You should have the attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though He existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature. He humbled Himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death – even death on a cross!) Think of such humility, that the Son of God, the Re-Creator and our Creator, would allow that He live in the flesh and share in human nature, so by His shedding His life blood we could be gifted with eternal life through Him. Jesus came to be our Savior and example, dying for the remission of our sins.

    (Col. 2:6-8; Therefore, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him and firm in your faith just as you were taught and overflowing with thankfulness. Paul and each person attempting to point the way, contends with people posing as angels of light. See 2Corinthians 11:14.

    We don’t mean to poke fun at the Pope, who apparently thinks deeper than the apparent quote posted on face book. However he does lean to tradition and politically correctness much more than Jesus’ Word allows. Jesus inspired His prophet Isaiah to write.

    (Isaiah 8:20; Then you must recall the Lord’s instructions and the prophetic testimony of what would happened, certainly they say such things because their minds are spiritually darkened.) (King James’ version reads: If they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them.)

    God allows religious unbelievers go the way that seem right to themselves and have many doctrines. (Jesus said; “ALL people are deceived, ALL are in spiritual darkness.” See Rev 18:23. There’s very little in God’s Word that religious haven’t tampered with and human evolving traditions are testimony to Satan’s powerful deceiving way.

God the Father and God the Son are exemplified through Jesus’ life.….  (Col 2:9-11; For in Him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form, and you have been filled in Him, who is the head over every ruler and authority. In Him you also were circumcised, not however, with a circumcision performed by human hands, but by the removal of the fleshly body, that is through the circumcision done by Christ.) Followers of Jesus are spiritually the circumcision of heart. As Jacob’s name was changed to Israel, meaning, ‘God Fights’ has spiritual application, so cutting back the foreskin looked forward to; ‘God the Father through Jesus Christ removing our fleshly nature. Christians are spiritual Israelites, as the Israelites were a set aside people, so are Jesus’ followers. God gifts a belief in Jesus.

    Our instinctive fleshly inherited from Adam nature is overcome through Jesus’ imputed faith. God the Father does the calling, gives the desire, conviction and leads His chosen to be followers of Jesus. He opens minds to comprehend spiritual things! Thus no person can boast except in the Lord..  Satan works through governments, worldly religions and people’s inheriting instinctive fleshly nature, to trust tradition and this world‘s system of things. Satan keeps people distracted from God and binds people to himself, how else could he be, god of this world?

    We’re convinced there’s many like Cornelius, attempting to worship our Creator God in whose image and likeness we’re made, but need truth about Jesus. See Acts 10:34-48, or read from the previous study. Many need to understand the firm foundational sermon, beginning with Abraham, given to the Jerusalem church of God. See Acts 13:16-48 or read from the previous study. When people are being spiritually called to be a genuine follower of Jesus, these scriptures should trigger the mind and compel one’s turning from what God views as sin- repentance and to Jesus as He’s manifested to be in Holy Scripture. One may then think what’s happening to me? Prayerfully allow Jesus’ words to Nicodemus; (John 3:5-8; Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”)

    Our fleshly bodies are temporary tents, housing until we’re resurrected to a spiritual or physical life. Spiritual for people called out followers of Jesus in this age, or a physical, in God’s coming millennial age, according to His mercy, and grace. We hope also that these studies will free some people from those attempting to make merchandise of them. Cornelius was a devout person who wanted more knowledge about this Jesus he’d heard about, so he sent for Jesus’ apostle.

        We need assurance through gifted faith, knowledge about Jesus’ deity, His preplanned purpose for living in the flesh and sacrificing Himself. Only when led to believe IN God as was Cornelius, and yield to His gifted revelations, is the FRUIT of the spirit apparent. Understanding of the Holy Scriptures is only gifted to those chosen to believers in His Way. The world, governments, media and religions teach a divisionary doctrine of salvation of one’s own choosing. If an individual could choose, when, where and how to be saved, it’d be salvation by works. Many teach God’s commandment is a doctrine of works that’s been done away with; not understanding Jesus’ magnification of the law as He taught in Matthew 5; 6 and 7. An example is Jesus saying, (Matt 5:27; You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to desire her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.) Magnified likewise, desiring another’s property lustfully is thievery. Paul shared Jesus’ revelations with the Ephesians and all called out people regarding salvation.

    (Eph 2:8-10; For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are, HIS WORKMANSHIP having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.) We must be God led.

    It’s worth repeating, a person can’t choose to be a begotten child of God, any more than they could’ve chose their physical parents. The truth is, God prepares, calls, puts His chosen on His Potter’s wheel, making each His own. Paul continues.

    (Eph 3:16-19; I pray that according to the wealth of His glory He may GRANT you to be strengthened with power through His spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, so that, because you HAVE BEEN ROOTED and grounded in love, you may be able to comprehend with all the Saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and thus to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.) We need His gifted strength, to be strengthened, through His Spirit in the inner person. Its strength to overcome our inherited from Adam nature and demonic influences, to put on Jesus’ gifted nature and be immersed in His Way. Consider where motivations come from. Our motivation is from our nature, whether inherited from Adam or gifted by God’s fathering.

    If Jesus, His prophet Moses, or His apostle John were here speaking words like at Deuteronomy 18:9-15, and John at 21:8, they’d be defining the condition of the world at large. History indicates, people would be attempting to murder all three. We have a choice today, examine the text and believe or ignore.

    In the inherited from Adam nature, our thinking is instinctively fleshly. It can only be altered through a belief in Jesus, yielding to His training, teaching and motivation. Not from others or self motivation. People can develop a good sense of fairness based on the above, with or without religion. People can develop law abiding outgoing character or become totally self serving. Our inherited from Adam nature wants the law applied to others more than to self. People naturally see the splinter in someone else’s eye when a plank is in their own. The mysterious good news Jesus brought is about His faith being gifted to our minds, making us at one with Himself and God the Father. Its being clothed and immersed in Him. We have either the inherited nature of Adam or the gifted nature of Jesus.

    (1Cor 15:20-23; But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him.) People belonging to Christ will rule with Him. After verse 23, Paul’s prophecy jumps to Jesus’ millennium end.

    (1Cor 15:24-28; Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For, He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death. For, He has put everything in subjection under His feet. But when it says, everything has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the One who put everything in subjection to Him. And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be subjected to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.)

    From the nature inherited from Adam people make their own gods, each doing and practicing what seems right to themselves. Attempt to fit God in some denominational image or make themselves little deities. However through Jesus’ faith imputed to our minds, He’s revealed through the prophets, apostles and He Himself our Cornerstone. Through gifted belief IN Jesus, God the Father gives a new nature likened to Jesus’ and believers IN Jesus; heirs with Abraham, inheriting God’s kingdom, with Jesus. That’s being reborn, begotten, fathered by God and thus becoming family members of His Kingdom.

     Inheritance comes about through being gifted to believe IN Jesus. Not some denomination conjured up through one’s intellect, but in Jesus as He’s manifested to be in the Holy Scriptures. Jesus inspired His apostle Paul’s words to the Ephesians church and each called Believer.

    The called are led to realize that Paul’s prayer for these Ephesians is for all led to believe IN the supernatural intervention from God. Knowing we can’t attain to these spiritual height’s without God’s intervention, making us loving others as ourselves, love God’s Way and the spiritual intent of His law. It’s only through His gifting us with His nature, saved and fathered. His nature changing spirit is by grace, through gifted faith in Jesus’ deeds and NOT of ourselves, otherwise we could boast.

     Celebrating together is good. Celebrations have a binding togetherness on people. God set aside celebration times to bind and cause us to honor the lasting realities of His Way. Governments and false religions set aside times to bind people for economic control. God’s set aside times revealing His planning for our good and bind His people to the reality of His being in charge.

    God’s breathed inspired Holy Scriptures are absolute, in their original writings. When we understand, we should recognize its God gifted. We can’t make denominationalist see Jesus’ Light. Long time readers might think we harp much on certain things, but remember our first concern is for those being called who need root for spiritual growth. For example, we repeated the differences in folks believing IN and folks believing that. All professing Christians believe a Jesus lived and died, but only those God chooses to reveal Himself to, believe in Him. Believing IN God, makes one’s desires parallel with God’s Way, including the oracles of God.

    Farmers desiring compatibility with God’s Way, believe in rotating crops. Genuine followers of Jesus recognize His foreshadowing plans revealed by His Sabbaths. Because Satan is the god of this world, few people are Believers IN. Few are spiritually led to recognize the goodness in God’s set aside celebration times. Jesus said it; many are called but few chosen. Unbelievers naturally prefer the kind of celebrations geared to their self serving fleshly instinctive nature. Jesus’ apostle Paul explained to the called out.

    (1Corinthians 1:26-31; Think about the circumstances of your call, brothers and sisters. Not many were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, or born to privileged positions. But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, so that no one can boast in His presence. He is the reason you have a relationship with Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.)

    Consider; when only one of Satan’s lies is believed, he camouflages other spiritual truths to prop up the first. Our foundation must include our recognizing the harm in Satan’s first lie. When coaching Eve to disobey God, Satan appealed to natural fleshly desires. The fruit will taste good, make you wise and you will be as deities, knowing good and evil. See Genesis 3. When Satan’s lie is believed, people assume they inherit immortality at birth, the mind to decide for themselves what’s right, wrong, good and evil; thus deities. Trusting God is replaced with arrogance and pride when people think they inherited deity status and live forever someplace.

    Satan’s lie camouflages all Jesus’ apostle Paul’s revelations to Christians, namely predestination, eternal life only, through Jesus, His being all knowing, and preplanning all things. When these are camouflaged people’s belief about why Jesus had to die for our saving is camouflaged. For example; the erroneous belief, ‘all children under the age of accountability, go to heaven when they die.’

The Old Testament-Covenant, preserved in the Hebrew language, was written to and for Abraham’s heirs, the Israelites particularly. Its text has been miraculously saved, preserved and that duties given to the Jews. History proves, the major one given through Jesus is shared by Paul. (Romans 3:1-2; Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.) History proves there have been many attempts to destroy it. The New Testament Covenant is preserved in the Greek language, also miraculously preserved. The New Covenant like the old is written to God’s chosen, His church. It was all preplanned that Jesus would first go to His own people, and later He’d send apostles to selected gentiles.

(Matt 10:6-7; Jesus sent His twelve, instructing them as follows: “Do not go to Gentile regions and do not enter any Samaritan town. Go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near!’) Always study the whole. Jesus’ brother, James’ letter should follow the gospels in order, He also wrote to the twelve tribes.

(James 1:1; From James, a slave of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad, Greetings.) After Peter’s vision and his going to Cornelius and family, other gentiles were called making it necessary for the Jerusalem church to write to gentiles. At Acts 10 we find a devout gentile named Cornelius having a vision about sending for Peter. The next day Peter had a vision, and a voice saying, “Get up, Peter; slaughter and eat!” After hearing the voice a third time a sheet with unclean animals was taken up.

(Acts 10:17-20; Now while Peter was puzzling over what the vision he had seen could signify, the men sent by Cornelius had learned where Simon’s house was and approached the gate. They called out to ask if Simon, known as Peter, was staying there as a guest. While Peter was still thinking seriously about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Look! Three men are looking for you. But get up, go down, and accompany them without hesitation, because I have sent them.”)

(Acts 10:22-26; So Peter went down to the men and said, “Here I am, the person you’re looking for. Why have you come?” They said, “Cornelius the centurion, a righteous and God-fearing man, well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear a message from you.” So Peter invited them in and entertained them as guests. On the next day he got up and set out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him. The following day he entered Caesarea. Now Cornelius was waiting anxiously for them and had called together his relatives and close friends. So when Peter came in, Cornelius met him, fell at his feet, and worshiped him. But Peter helped him up, saying, “Stand up. I too am a mere mortal.”)

(Acts 10:27-29; Peter continued talking with him as he went in, and he found many people gathered together. He said to them, “You know that it is unlawful for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile, yet God has shown me that I should call no person defiled or ritually unclean. Therefore when you sent for me, I came without any objection. Now may I ask why you sent for me?”)

(Acts 10:30-22; Cornelius replied, “Four days ago at this very hour, at three o’clock in the afternoon, I was praying in my house, and suddenly a man in shining clothing stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your acts of charity have been remembered before God. Therefore send to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. This man is staying as a guest in the house of Simon the tanner, by the sea.’ Therefore I sent for you at once, and you were kind enough to come. So now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to say to us.”) Jesus’ Good News believed.

(Acts 10:34-43; Then Peter started speaking: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people, but in every nation the person who fears Him and does what is right is welcomed before Him. You know the message He sent to the people of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all) —you know what happened throughout Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John announced: with respect to Jesus from Nazareth, that God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him. We are witnesses of all the things He did both in Judea and in Jerusalem. They killed Him by hanging him on a tree, but God raised Him up on the third day and caused Him to be seen, not by all the people, but by us, the witnesses God had already chosen, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. He commanded us to preach to the people and to warn them that He is the One appointed by God as judge of the living and the dead.) About him all the prophets testify, that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”)

(Acts 10:44-48; While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were greatly astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles, for they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, “No one can withhold the water for these people to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?” So he gave orders to have them baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for several days.) Israelites in the Jerusalem church of God had to be sold on accepting gentiles. Customarily, gentiles practiced abominable things in God’s view that made a letter, necessary after some time. Deacon Stephen was murdered while Paul held the coat of some, Jesus’ good news spread to Antioch and beyond. A great foundational sermon was preached that needs to be repeated to all people.

(Acts 13:16-22; So Paul stood up, gestured with his hand and said, “Men of Israel, and you Gentiles who fear God, listen: The God of this people Israel chose our ancestors and made the people great during their stay as foreigners in the country of Egypt, and with uplifted arm he led them out of it. For a period of about forty years he put up with them in the wilderness. After He had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, He gave His people their land as an inheritance. All this took about four hundred fifty years. After this He gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet. Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Saul son of Kish, a man from the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years. After removing him, God raised up David their king. He testified about Him: ‘I have found David the son of Jesse to be a man after My heart, who will accomplish everything I want him to do.’)

(Acts 13:23-27; From the descendants of this man God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as He promised. Before Jesus arrived, John had proclaimed a baptism for repentance to all the people of Israel. But while John was completing his mission, he said repeatedly, ‘What do you think I am? I am not He. But look, One is coming after me. I am not worthy to untie the sandals on His feet!’ Brothers, descendants of Abraham’s family, and those Gentiles among you who fear God, the message of this salvation has been sent to us. For the people who live in Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Him, and they fulfilled the sayings of the prophets that are read every Sabbath by condemning Him.)

(Acts 13:28-33; Though they found no basis for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have Him executed. When they had accomplished everything that was written about Him, they took Him down from the cross and placed Him in a tomb. But God raised Him from the dead, and for many days He appeared to those who had accompanied Him from Galilee to Jerusalem. These are now His witnesses to the people. And we proclaim to you the good news about the promise to our ancestors, that this promise God has fulfilled to us, their children, by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second psalm, ‘You are my Son; today I have fathered you.’)

(Acts 13:34-41; But regarding the fact that He has raised Jesus from the dead, never again to be in a state of decay, God has spoken in this way: ‘I will give you the holy and trustworthy promises made to David.’ Therefore He also says in another psalm, ‘You will not permit your Holy One to experience decay.’ For David, after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, died, was buried with his ancestors, and experienced decay, but the One whom God raised up did not experience decay. Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this One forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by this One everyone who believes is justified from everything from which the law of Moses could not justify you. Watch out, then, that what is spoken about by the prophets does not happen to you: ‘Look, you scoffers; be amazed and perish! For I am doing a work in your days, ‘a work you would never believe, even if someone tells you.’ “)

(Acts 13:42-44; As Paul and Barnabas were going out, the people were urging them to speak about these things on the next Sabbath. When the meeting of the synagogue had broken up, many of the Jews and God-fearing proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who were speaking with them and were persuading them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city assembled together to hear the word of the Lord.) (Acts 13:45-46; But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and they began to contradict what Paul was saying by reviling him. Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously, “It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.)

(Acts 13:47-52; For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have appointed you to be a light for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’ “When the Gentiles heard this, they began to rejoice and praise the word of the Lord, and all who had been appointed for eternal life believed. So the word of the Lord was spreading through the entire region. But the Jews incited the God-fearing women of high social standing and the prominent men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and threw them out of their region. So after they shook the dust off their feet in protest against them, they went to Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.) Don’t miss the fact, that God is all knowing; people appointed for eternal life in this age were predestined. Don’t miss the fact that God’s promises to Abraham regarding heirs and land boundaries are perpetual and predestined. After the first resurrection there’ll be physical resurrections. See Ezekiel 37:

(Rev 21:7-8; The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”)

    The successful among higher educated people and those knowing they have like capabilities, naturally put spiritual understanding in the same realm. However the Holy Scriptures teach, spiritual understanding is gifted to the contrite. Does God back up this statement? Jesus inspired the Proverbs and much more.

    (Proverbs 3:1-7; My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for they will provide a long and full life, and they will add well-being to you. Do not let truth and mercy leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will find favor and good understanding, in the sight of God and people. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the LORD and turn away from evil.) (Prov 1:7; Fearing the LORD is the beginning of moral knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.)

     Our Almighty Creator God is the architect of life, He has planned the future. He rises up and He takes down nations. He inspired His prophet Samuel to say to Saul, (1Samuel 15:38-29; “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day and has given it to one of your colleagues who is better than you! The Preeminent One of Israel does not go back on His word or change His mind, for He is not a human being who changes his mind.”) Consider these things in regard to the law, including God’s set aside Sabbath.

    Jesus inspired the Hebrews writer’s words, saying Jesus doesn’t change and advising His people not to be carried away with strange teachings. (Heb 13:5-9; Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever! Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them.)

     Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever; the Alpha and Omega and plans our future. See Isaiah 10: 14:24-27; and 16:,19-22. These scriptures teach, God’s plan can’t be frustrated and we should know follows of Jesus are spiritual Israelites. See Galatians 3:29. We should know Jesus revealed Himself to Moses and Moses expected Israel to keep their covenant promises.

     (Deuteronomy 18:9-13; When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, you must not learn the abhorrent practices of those nations. There must never be found among you anyone who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, anyone who practices divination, an omen reader, a soothsayer, a sorcerer, one who casts spells, one who conjures up spirits, a practitioner of the occult, or a necromancer.) Compare with Revelations 21:8, regarding people practicing these things suffering a second death..

     (Deut 18:14; Whoever does these things is abhorrent to the Lord and because of these detestable things the Lord your God is about to drive them out from before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. Those nations that you are about to dispossess listen to omen readers and diviners, but the Lord your God has not given you permission to do such things.)  We’re to be separate and come out from among unbelievers.  See 2Cor 6:17. Now Jesus inspired Moses to prophecy His coming.

    (Deut 18:15-19; The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like Me from among you – from your fellow Israelites; you must listen to Him. This accords with what happened at Horeb in the day of the assembly. You asked the Lord your God: “Please do not make us hear the voice of the Lord our God any more or see this great fire any more lest we die.” The Lord then said to me, “What they have said is good. I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put My words in His mouth and He will speak to them whatever I command. I will personally hold responsible anyone who then pays no attention to the words that prophet speaks in My name.) Compare with Hebrews 12:18-20.

     (Deut 18:20; But if any prophet presumes to speak anything in My name that I have not authorized him to speak, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.)

    We must carefully teach Jesus’ words through Moses, other prophets and His apostles without inserting personal agendas. Mindful that Jesus’ good news includes Genesis through His Revelations to John. Today the whole world is practicing omens, sorcery and worshiping gods of the imagination, rather than trusting in the God of Abraham, Moses, Isaac and Israel.

    Heavenly Father: please give us the desire to seek Your Way. Grant us Your gift of repentance and the desire to serve from the foundation of loving You, not with self serving agendas, but lead us to examine ourselves in Your Light. We praise You in Jesus’ holy name. Amen.

    God the Son is heir to all things. Believers IN Him are fellow heirs. God’s master plan includes making peace with a rebellious people made in His image, through our Lord and Savior Jesus, within the will of, God the Father. God the Son became sin on our behalf and took the sins of the whole world on Himself. He sacrificed His body, shed His blood, and died that we may be gifted with eternal life through Him and with Him.

    Believing IN Jesus is to believe in God the Father, IN His Words and honor Him with obedient living. People believing in the theorist regarding evolution etc. are unbelievers of the Holy Scripture’s teaching. Such professing Christians are strangers and Jesus’ enemies, as we were all before conversion. In Paul’s letter to the Colossians he explains their and our previous positions and manner of living before being spiritually led to believe IN Jesus.

    (Col 1:21-23; And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your minds as expressed through your evil deeds, but NOW Jesus has reconciled you by His physical body through death to present you holy, without blemish, and blameless before Him, if indeed you remain in the faith, established and firm, without shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has also been preached in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become its servant.)

    Paul’s life, beliefs and goals were to be AT ONE with Jesus. If we remain in Jesus’ gifted faith, we’ll not be shifting from His Way. To the Roman believers, Paul explained that the Jews had certain advantages because they had been entrusted with the oracles of God and understood the value of circumcision. Explaining, circumcision looked forward to, a circumcision of the heart and a changed outlook. Quoting the principles of Psalm 51: Paul wrote.

    (Romans 3:1-4; Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What then? IF some did not believe, does their UNBELIEF nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and EVERY human being shown up as a Liar, just as it is written: so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.) Review Psalms 51.

    May we each individually believe IN God, even if the whole world believes erroneously. Abraham is our example, he experienced being in the world but not of the world. We too live in an age of evolving traditional worship. That is, the whole world puts evolving tradition before God’s Way.

    (Col 1:24-26; Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body – for the sake of His body, the church – what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ. I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship from God – given to me for you – in order to complete the Word of God, that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been REVEALED to His Saints.) Not to the world at large.

    Paul’s calling included sharing his revelations. Sharing a mystery to the world, and revealing to God’s people, the miraculous imputation of God’s gifted spirit living in people. THIS mystery of God’s Spirit gifted to mankind is still camouflaged from the world. Believers must be thankful for this gifted understanding, and careful not to boast, but examine ourselves regularly in His LIGHT.

    One of God’s and Believers annual Sabbaths is Atonement. Its purpose is just that; to atone one’s self before God. A day of fasting, and examine ourselves. In Paul’s letter to the Galatians he explained the result of God’s Spirit in us.

    (Gal 5:22-26; But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another.)

    Crucifying the flesh is turning from the fleshly, selfish, lustful nature, inherited from Adam.

    (Colossians 1:27-29; God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this MYSTERY among the Gentiles, WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ. Toward this goal I also labor, struggling according to His power that powerfully works in me.)

    Christ is in God the Father’s chosen people by the Father’s begetting,- His fathering with His Spirit. We can’t choose to be fathered by God anymore than we could’ve chosen our physical parents. Jesus explained the workings of, being born of the spirit.

    John 3:8; 3:5-8; Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.)

    Paul knew Christ lived in him through God’s spirit and was not ashamed to say so. He knew because of the Holy Scriptures were opened; he knew because of his changed outlook. Today’s professing Christians, might accuse Paul of being self righteous and boasting. Every Believer’s objective should parallel Paul’s. Every believer needs to work at being mature in Christ.

    Revealing his humanity, Paul shared his disappointments and encouragements with the churches in most of his letters. We must be concerned about one another’s welfare and pray particularly attention to their spiritual needs. People attempting to point The Way agree with Paul’s concerns.

    (Col 2:1-3; For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you, for those in Laodicea, and those who have not met me face to face. My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that ASSURANCE brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the MYSTERY of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.)

   Heavenly Father: be merciful to our un-beliefs. Thanks for Your callings, opening understanding and gifting us with eternal life. Please extend Your mercy, and cut Satan’ dominance short. We’re thankful for the privilege of asking in Jesus’  faith and His holy name. AMEN.

    At Proverbs 8: in a previous study, we read that Jesus spoke to us through Solomon. Saying He’s, God the Father’s delight and instrumental in all Creation. Jesus reveals to called out believers the same for our understanding. Modern day professing Christians try to believe in God through evolving popular opinion. Teaching evolution, thinking it possible that mankind can fix the likes of global warming, and in fact think to gain spiritual knowledge without God. Plus the god of this world, Satan, has led people to think of themselves as deity; as little god’s to themselves. No need to believe IN the God of Creation. Institutions of so called higher education attempt to camouflage the authenticity of the God breathed Holy Scriptures. The Holy Bible is ignored, and thought of as being a book of myths.

     Regarding evolution, consider the makeup of this earth’s core of molten rock. Consider the ocean’s depth and how sea levels are maintained. Consider the moon’s effect on sea level, its precise movement, timing and God’s solar system. Then restudy and think through Proverbs 8, John 1:1-5 and Colossians 1:15-20.

    Jesus said it and His followers believe, “We cannot serve God and money.” We can’t believe in global warming as a doom’s day coming condition mankind can control. We can’t believe in an evolution of God’s heavenly bodies, modern theorist try to sell, and at the same time believe in the God of Israel. Most unbelieving people agree among themselves,’ the god they look to isn’t the God of Israel.’ We can’t believe in such evolutionary theorist and believe IN our Creator God.

    Jesus said, (Luke 16:10-14; “The one who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and the one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you haven’t been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will entrust you with the true riches? And if you haven’t been trustworthy, with someone else’s property who will give you your own. No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”)

    True riches, is knowledge of God’s Word, and gifted belief IN Jesus’ deeds. The world’s evolutionary thinkers are devoted to its demonic theories, despise God’s Way, and adhere to the Prince of the Power of the air, Satan.

    (Luke 16:15; The Pharisees (who loved money) heard all this and ridiculed Jesus. But Jesus said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in men’s eyes, but God knows your hearts. For what is highly prized among men is utterly detestable in God’s sight.”)

    When Jesus speaks of love of money, it should goes without saying that He also means, loving prestige, status and control over other people. God’s grace and mercy is extended to the whole world, allowing all but the called, go the way that seems right to themselves. Nations and individuals living the way that seems right to themselves are the cause of division and chaos that plays into Satan’s deceptive purposes. Deciding for one’s self, from the foundation of inherited fleshly intellect is not parallel with God’s will and purpose, but is against God’s Way of faith living. HOW so? All people are born with Adam’s self serving nature that must be changed. Our need? Two major obstacles must be removed. (1) Our old inherited nature must be changed to a nature like Jesus’, a spiritual re-creation. (2) Satan’s demonic deceptions must be exposed and Jesus’ LIGHT shined on us.

    Our Creator has the solution and His Way will be carried out in spite of Satan’s leading mankind’s efforts. God’s corrective measures by design and plan are on the horizon. HOW? God’s Kingdom is coming and Satan will be bound! God’s truth will cover this earth as water the ocean. Before that, we need to remember Jesus told of terrible plagues coming before His return. Study Matthew 24. Every Believer’s prayer must be that God extend mercy, by shortening this age of Satan’s demonic rule. Our Creator’s ultimate purpose is to have unity among His people now and particularly in His millennial kingdom. Satan’s purpose is to divide, play people’s self serving nature one against another, causing infightings and war.

    Consider the divisionary history of people using Jesus’ name, how they’ve divided people and that result. God’s spirit led called out believers IN Jesus during the apostolic era; to respect, honor and keep times God said were holy to Him. While demonically led people were about the business of organizing estrangements from keeping times foreshadowing God’s planning.

    The seventh day Sabbath is for rest and reflection on God’s creation, it foreshadows God’s millennial rest from the pulls of our inherited nature, and Satan’s influences. Modern Christianity use Jesus’ name to divide. Jesus’ apostle Paul addresses the nature change Christians are gifted with in his letters to the Saints.

    (Colossians 1:1-4; From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To The Saints, the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ, at Colossae. Grace and peace to you from God our Father! We always give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, since we heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have for all the Saints.)

    These spirit led Saints heard the prophetic words about Jesus’ coming, His prophesied deeds, His fulfilling sacrifice of Himself for the sins of the world and were spirit led to believe IN Jesus’ deeds. Loving one another is the fruit, result, of God’s spirit in mankind. Allow Jesus’ words through the Apostle John.

    (1John 4:20-5:4; If anyone says, I love God, and yet hates his fellow Christian, he is a liar, because the one who does not love his fellow Christian whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And the commandment we have from Him is this: that the one who loves God should love his fellow Christian too. Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been fathered by God and everyone who loves the Father loves the child fathered by Him. By this we know that we love the children of God: whenever we love God and obey His commandments. For this is the love of God: that we keep His commandments. And His commandments do not weigh us down, because everyone who has been fathered by God conquers, overcomes, the world.)

    The imputation of God’s spirit to one’s mind, being, is His fathering. His gifted spirit, fathering, is required to be His child. His fathering produces a gifted desire to Love His Way and Hate Evil. Followers of Jesus are gifted with the faith of Jesus imputed to the mind. The ONE WAY to demonstrate faith in Jesus Christ is to, keep His commandments. People fathered by, begotten by God, are spirit led to LOVE HIS WAY, and commanded to examine ourselves in HIS LIGHT. Let’s ask ourselves, what’s about God’s commandments that I do NOT like? Which commands, when kept, does me harm?

    (Col 1:5-8; Your faith and love have arisen from the hope laid up for you in heaven, which you have heard about in the message of truth, the gospel that has come to you. Just as in the entire world, this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, so it has also been bearing fruit and growing among you from the first day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth. You learned the gospel from Epaphras, our dear fellow slave – a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, who also told us of your love in the Spirit.)

    The message of truth is revealed, it’s each individual’s hope for themselves and the world. Followers of Jesus know the whole world will soon believe IN and know the love of God; it’s the gifted grace to Believe IN Jesus now. It’s the separation between Believers and unbelievers. Believers are spirit led to recognize truth, while unbelievers aren’t gifted to grasp spiritual facts. ONLY through supernaturally being gifted to believing IN Jesus’ Words’ can scriptures be OPENED to the mind!

    (Col 1:1:9- 14; For this reason we also, from the day we heard about you, have not ceased praying for you and asking God to FILL YOU with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and UNDERSTANDING, so that you may live worthily of the Lord and please Him in all respects – bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully giving thanks to the Father who has QUALIFIED you to share in the Saints’ inheritance in the light. He DELIVERED us from the power of darkness and TRANSFERED us to the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.)

    We must have His gifted spiritual understanding in order to live worthily. We need to patiently wait on revealed understanding as we study, meditate and seek His Way. We must come out from among the world, and remember Jesus’ Words, in the world but not of the world. God qualifies us to share in His promises as given to Abraham and his descendents, - Descendent.

    Worldly religions teach a doctrine of, self qualifying. Teaching that people, may be saved at a time of their choosing. Paul and all who know God, teach that God DELIVERS, from darkness and TRANSFERS those gifted to believe into the Kingdom of Jesus.

    (Col 1:15-16; JESUS is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over ALL creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him.)

    Again review Proverbs 8:, John 1:1-5 and Hebrews 1: to understand Jesus’ apostles complete agreement on the subject of, who is Jesus. All who’re spirit led to understand and pen Jesus’ revealing words, understands that He’s the firstborn of all creation. First to be physically and spiritually created in the Father’s image. Understands that Jesus is the Creator, Re-creator, Sustainer, Deliverer and Mediator, who creating all things including angelic beings, even Lucifer!

    (Col 1:17; JESUS Himself is before all things and all things are held together in Him.) Held together - sustained. The sun and planetary movements are sustained by Jesus! (Col 1:18; He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things.”) Jesus is the leader, leading the church-family of Believers in Himself. He’s the FIRST to be RESURRECTED from physical to SPIRITUAL Life!

     People’s beliefs’ comes through parent, teachers and the culture reared in. Many Catholic and Protestant children are taught to believe in a Santa Clause, ghost and gobbling. One such child said to a friend, ‘after learning about Santa, now I have to look into this Jesus Christ business. Truth is precious and God’s more so, ‘a pearl of great price.’ God’s truths, particularly those regarding His kingdom, aren’t shared with populations at large, because of the hardness in mankind’s heart; hardness inherited through Adam’s nature. Our inherited nature loves the pleasures of sinful living.

    Earlier in our studies, we read about Moses and how, when he was called out, chose to follow God rather than the sinful pleasures of sin, for a season. Chosen individuals in each age are led to consider like choices, as did Moses.

    Jesus had Matthew explain to His disciples that they were blessed because they could see and understand things not given to the world at large, saying, ‘it’s the reason I speak to them in parables.’ To His apostles only, Jesus explained.

     Read and consider again, (Matt 13:11-16; Jesus answered and said unto them, Because it is GIVEN unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever has, to him shall be GIVEN, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has. Therefore I speak to them in parables: BECAUSE they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which said, By hearing you shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.)

     Followers of Jesus are GIFTED with understanding that leads to eternal life. It’s gifted desire to turn from the way that seems right to human logic, to the WAY that is right in HIS VIEW.

    The New Covenant is a mystery, particularly to people involved with this world’s system of things. They can’t understand God’s plan for this age, through Jesus’ sacrifice for the sins of the world. This inherited nature in mankind has not changed since God instructed Jeremiah to point out Israel’s sins. Jeremiah was led to express his own remorse for his people’s sinful nature and reveal God’s word. It’s always been the way of people looking to other people for guidance.

    (Jeremiah 9:2-5; Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave My people and go from them! for they are all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not Me, says the LORD. Take HEED every one of his neighbor, and trust YOU NOT in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders. And they will deceive everyone his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.) This describes worldly churches,

    People have a natural tendency to sell their beliefs to others. Some might say, aren’t you asking folks to look to you? NO. Through Jesus, we insist that people prove all things.

     We find God’s same principles in His New Covenant with, Jesus‘ followers. (Let God be true, though EVERY person a liar.) See Romans 3:4. NOW, in this latter age, EVEN with proofs of Jesus’ life, teaching, His resurrection and ascension, ‘people of this world’s system of things still prefers sinful entertainment and the pagan ways of Baal, as did the people of Jeremiah’s day.’

    (Jeremiah 9:13- 16; The LORD said, “Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice, neither walked therein; But have walked after the imagination of their OWN heart, and after Baal, which their fathers taught them:” Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; “Behold, I will feed them, even this people with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. I will scatter them also among heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.”)

     This demonically divided denominationalism age isn’t taught, it’s a sin to walk after the imagination of one’s own heart. or Following the Canaanites who worshiped Baal, the Semitic god of fertility or nature is sin. People aren’t taught to consider traditional trappings inherited from Baal worshipers, such as, Easter, Halloween and Christmas traditions from this false way. Our so called intellectual age, isn’t taught to prove all things. Religious leaders boast many things, but they do not know our Creator or His ways.

    (Jeremiah 9:23-24; Thus says the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glories, glory in this, that he understands, and KNOWS ME, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says the LORD.) So, WHO are these people God says, are privileged to knowing Him? Why parables to unbelievers?

     From a human perspective we who know can’t boast. We can only boast from the point of view, “God loves us, chose, and showed His loving kindness toward us, granted His gift of understanding and loved us before we loved Him. This should give clear understanding to the called, regarding, why so many religions are in the world. Why and How Satan still has the whole world confused and still worshiping the many imaginary gods he put forth to our ancestors. May our Creator give each a yearning for His Kingdom and a love for His Way.      Remember, individuals can choose to be religious and follow an appealing brand. Can choose to be good citizens, and ask for spiritual understanding. But to know God the Father and God the Son, -Jesus- is only by gifted revelation. Eternal life is only inherited through Jesus. DOES this fact get in the way of, seek and you will find? Knock and the door will open. NO. If we have a genuine desire and gifted effort, God gave it. See Philippians 2:13.

     A God gifted desire to seek, study, meditate and be obedient to His Way is His prerogative. Seeking God honestly isn’t attempting to be religious, NOR is it joining a congregation fitting one’s particular view. Seeking God honestly is, (to let God be true, though all others be liars.) See Romans 3:4. Even, attempting to obey God’s Ten Commandments, isn’t honestly seeking to obey and practice His Way. Individually, people must be spirit led, given to understand the flaws in our inherited nature, and desire to overcome each. Why? Because in our inherited nature, there’s a way that seems right that leads to death. See Proverbs 12:15; 14:12; 16:25 & 21:2. The Holy Scriptures also teach us not to depend on fleshly intellect for understand spiritual truths!

     David was led to understand the way of truth was to genuinely love GOD’S WAY.

     (Psalms 119:127-128; Therefore I love YOUR commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all YOUR precepts concerning ALL THINGS to be right, and I HATE every FALSE way.) SO consider, what’s every false way? Its worldly divided religions, devised from mankind’s fleshly imaginations. Through inherited fleshly imaginations, people crave, worshiping images, looking to the sun, planets and revering certain person’s, their attributes etc. Such unbelieving people aren’t able to believe David’s words as recorded in the Psalms, seriously.

    The holy scriptures clearly teach that Satan is the god of this age, this world, and is, Prince of the Power of the Air. That being so and it is: people must conclude that Satan has the world’s system upside down, from God’s Way, with tradition and things worshiped!

    Jesus’ apostle Paul taught, (Rom 3:3-6; For what if some did not believe, shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be TRUE, but every man a liar; as it is written, that you might be justified in your sayings, and might OVERCOME when you are judged. But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who takes vengeance? (I speak as a man) God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?”)

     Paul also shares, there’s a Godly attitude, void of fleshly pride, we should be asking for, if we’re genuinely seeking God’s Way.

     Religious denominations are about the business of building constituents, organizations and selling their way, the way that seems right. Few understand and teach that God knows each of us better than we can possibly know ourselves; that He looks at our inner being and does the leading. Consider how God shapes His chosen? Consider the depth of His knowledge about each of us. Review Isaiah.

    (Isaiah 29:14-16; Therefore I will again do an amazing thing for these people – an absolutely extraordinary deed. Wise men will have nothing to say, the sages will have no explanations. Those who try to hide their plans from the Lord are as good as dead, who do their work in secret and boast, Who sees us? Who knows what we’re doing? Your thinking is perverse! Should the Potter be regarded as clay? Should the thing made say about its Maker, He didn’t make me? Or should the pottery say about the Potter, “He doesn’t understand?)

     Our Creator, Jesus, knows His people and His people are led to know Him.

The New Covenant is a contract between our Creator and those He calls to covenant with. When God calls an individual, He does the work of changing that individual’s outlook, to understand that He is truth. God gives individuals a zeal for study, and the desire to please Him, thus making Himself our God. He takes the worldly, get way desires away, and replaces with spiritual thinking that comes from above.

     Called out people are led to ponder, why me? Why am I, understanding things so precious? Jesus’ parable about finding treasure fits this subject. Review Matthew 13:44-46 again.

   Review is good. (John 10:24-28; Then came the Jews round about Jesus, and said unto Him, How long do You make us to doubt? If You be the Christ, tell us plainly? Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you did NOT believe: the works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me. “But you believe NOT, because you ARE NOT of My sheep,” as I said unto you. “My sheep hear My voice, and I KNOW them and they follow Me: And I give unto them ETERNAL LIFE; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand.) Jesus is creator, One revealing to Moses. Col 1:15-20.

      Jesus is clearly telling His followers two things that unbelievers can’t grasp. (a) Understanding spiritual things are gifted to His chosen, those He foreknew, those gifted with desire and effort to follow Him. See Philippians 2:13. (b) In this age, eternal life is only through Jesus and to those The Father chooses to be born from above.

     Likely all individuals may choose to be religious and follow an appealing brand. Choose to be a good citizen and pray to a god of one’s particular imagination. But to know God the Father and God the Son is only by gifted revelation; eternal life is only inherited through Jesus. Does this fact get in the way of the scriptural text that says- seek and you will find- or -knock and the door will open? NO, because if we have a genuine desire to know God as He reveals Himself, He gave it. To seek study, meditate on and be obedient to the Creator God as revealed to Abraham, Moses and Jesus’ apostles, is to those God knows. Review the John 10: text above again.

    Seeking God honestly is not attempting to be religious, joining a congregation that fits one’s particular view. Seeking God honestly is to, “let God be true, though all others be liars.” See Romans 3:4. Seeking God honestly could possibly start with an attempt to obey the ten commandments, but a called out individual would soon be gifted to understand the importance of knowing God’s characteristics, ways, attributes and oracles through gifted faith. It’s obeying from the foundation of love.

   Individually a person must be spirit led to understand the flaws in our inherited from Adam nature, desire repentance- a turning, and overcoming it, desire. Because in our inherited from Adam nature, people desires what seems right, and that only leads to death. See Proverbs 12:15; 14:12; 16:25 & 21:2. We can’t depend on fleshly intellect and other’s theology to understand spiritual truths.

    When people look to divided denominations they see a god through their lenses. As we reviewed before, if people won’t believe the God of Moses, they won’t believe even one who comes back from the grave and tells. Jesus revealed and Moses wrote, (Gen 2:1-3; The heavens and the earth were completed with everything that was in them. By the seventh day God finished the work that He had been doing, and He ceased on the seventh day all the work that he had been doing. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on it He ceased all the work that He had been doing in creation.) God gave Adam great intellect, even to name all other living critters according to their created characteristics. See Gen 2:20.

    The seventh day was set aside as holy before the command that a husband and wife be family, before the covenant of circumcision, the commandments or law.

   (Gen 2:21-25; So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was asleep, He took part of the man’s side and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the part He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife, and they become a new family. The man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed.) Always study the whole.

    Promises God made to Abraham was before the law, Jesus’ apostle Paul and Deacon Stephen made a point of explaining that the promises through faith preceded the law, but that in no way abolished the law. Some attempt to excuse Sabbath keeping because it’s the fourth of seven commands and was given by angels. See Acts 7:53. After Deacon Stephen told of the earth being God’s footstool etc. he went on saying, (Acts 7:52-58; Which of the prophets did your ancestors not persecute? They killed those who foretold long ago the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become! You received the law by decrees given by angels, but you did not obey it.” When they heard these things, they became furious and ground their teeth at him. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently toward heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. Look! he said. “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” But they covered their ears, shouting out with a loud voice, and rushed at him with one intent. When they had driven him out of the city, they began to stone him, and the witnesses laid their cloaks at the feet of a young man named Saul.)

    Some excuse the seventh day by including it with the commandments, saying the law was given because of transgressions and administered through angels.  (Gal 3:19-29; For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave it to Abraham through the promise. Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the Descendant to whom the promise had been made. It was administered through angels by an intermediary. Now an intermediary is not for one party alone, but God is One. Is the law therefore opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given — because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ — to those who believe. Now before faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed. Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian. For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.  For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female — for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.)

    Keep in mind, God’s Sabbath was set aside before all these.

    Consider every false way? Its worldly religions devised from people’s fleshly imaginations. People carve worshiping images, looking to the sun, planets and revering other people in worship fashion until God is revealed. We aren’t naturally, in the flesh, able to understand and believe in God as David described Him in the Psalms.

    Others use Paul’s teaching through the night, because of the people’s hanging on to every word of Jesus’ message through him, to support their belief that Jesus allowed a Sabbath change. See Acts 20.
