The Apostate, chapter 12 of 12

To: In residence Churches of God. His 10th month, Trivet 18, 5,981. 1/2/21

Resurrections are God’s primary doctrine it’s the restoration of life through Jesus, the life giver. (Review Colossians 1:15-20) The first resurrection to eternal life will be those believing in Jesus’ faith, ‘His deeds, blood sacrifice for the remission of sins’ and recipients of God’s Holy Spirit of Truth. Such recipient’s conscious mindset don’t allow the practice of sins. Other resurrections to a second physical life are prophesied and promised; particularly to Israel, whose sins God will take away.

(Isaiah 44:21-22; Remember these things, O Jacob, O Israel, for you are my servant. I formed you to be My servant; O Israel, I will not forget you! I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud. Come back to me, for I protect you.) Always study the whole. To gentile believers Jesus’ apostle Paul explained.

(Romans 11:25-29; For, I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.” In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but in regard to election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.) Always study the whole. See Isa 59:20-21 and 1John 3: before continuing Jesus’ resurrection chapter through Paul.

(1Corinthians 15:35-41; But someone will say, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?” Fool! What you sow will not come to life unless it dies. And what you sow is not the body that is to be, but a bare seed – perhaps of wheat or something else. But God gives it a body just as He planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another. And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. The glory of the heavenly body is one sort and the earthly another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for star differs from star in glory.) Allow John’s revelation regarding our spiritual bodies. Again see 1John 3:

Speaking of Believers being created in God’s image and likeness, Paul writes.

(1Cor15:42-48; It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam, became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.)

Jesus and each ‘born from above person’ ‘each recipient of God’s spirit’ are at one with God the Father, and likened to Jesus, in that the second life is spiritual from heaven.

(1Cor 15:49; Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust, and like the One from heaven, so too those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.)

(1Cor 15:50-55; Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body, must put on immortality. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”) (Paul is quoting from Isa 25:8 and Hosea 13:14)

In the flesh people are mortal, but mortal must put on immortality. Review the above. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.’

(1Cor 15:56-58; The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! So then, dear brothers and sisters be firm do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.) The law demands death for the practice of sin not repented of.

A big part of Jesus’ deeds that must be believed in. The revelation that He Re-created the earth, He can re-create to physical life. He re-created physical life in Lazarus and through Peter He re-created physical life to Tabatha. He re-created bread and fish to feed thousands. He will re-create each person of His choosing in their own order. All the promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are perpetual.

Repentance is the act of becoming ashamed of previous life practices when Jesus is revealed as He’s manifested to be in Holy Scripture.

(Romans 6:21-23; So what benefit did you then reap from those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death. But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life. For, the payoff of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.)

Revealed truths kept Paul humble, and should do the same for each of us.

(2Corinthians 12:1-10; It is necessary to go on boasting. Though it is not profitable, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord.

I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago (whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows) was caught up to the third heaven. And I know that this man (whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows) was caught up into paradise and heard things too sacred to be put into words, things that a person is not permitted to speak. On behalf of such an individual I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except about my weaknesses. For even if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I would be telling the truth, but I refrain from this so that no one may regard me beyond what he sees in me or what he hears from me, even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me – so that I would not become arrogant. I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me. But He said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.)

Life’s needs here and now.

May we each have grace to believe IN, overcome to the end, and know familiarity breeds contempt. It’s a human characteristic and the reason Jesus explained why families become hostile over beliefs? It isn’t limited to religion people differ on politics and spar angrily.

(Matthew 10:34-40; Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And whoever does not take up his cross, and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it and whoever loses his life because of me will find it. Whoever receives you receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me.) The major point to know is, if God isn’t opening minds, people lean to their own understanding, which is idolatry. (Study Proverbs 3: consider verses 5-12.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. This will bring healing to your body, and refreshment to your inner self. Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled completely and your vats will overflow with new wine. My child, do not despise discipline from the Lord and do not loathe His rebuke. For the Lord disciplines those He loves, just as a father disciplines the son in whom He delights.)

Nations, families and individual problems’ are caused by disobedience. We close this apostasy study with the last verses in the Old Testament.

(Mal 4:1-6; For indeed the day is coming, burning like a furnace, and all the arrogant evildoers will be chaff. The coming day will burn them up, says the LORD who rules over all. It will not leave even a root or branch.

But for you who respect My name, the sun of vindication will rise with healing wings, and you will skip about like calves released from the stall.  You will trample on the wicked, for they will be like ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing, says the LORD who rules over all.

Remember the law of My servant Moses, to whom at Horeb I gave rules and regulations for all Israel to obey. Look, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the LORD arrives. He will encourage fathers and their children to return to me, so that I will not come and strike the earth with judgment.
