Jesus’ resurrection was before sunset this 17th day of Nisan. He said, ‘the only significant sign He’s give was that of Jonah.’ Pharisees and Sadducees had ask Jesus for a sign, He said, ‘wicked, and adulterous generations ask for signs,’ then said; (Matt 12:40; For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.) Jesus went on to say, ‘the Nineveh’s repented when Jonah preached, they and the Queen of the South who came to hear Solomon will rise in judgment against generations seeking signs. Yet folks teach a, ‘Palm Sunday, good Friday and Easter Sunday falsehood about Jesus’ resurrection. Ignore that Jesus died on Passover, spent three nights and days in the tomb.’ That corresponds to the evening of Nisan 17, or Tuesday March 30 this year. His tomb was found empty the next morning, Nisan 18. His resurrection and tomb being empty on the first day of a week that year doesn’t constitute it being a holy day every year. Study Ezekiel 8:15-18; to discover where these falsehoods originated.

Last time we studied one reason Jesus died was to make a new covenant with believers. Noting, ‘a covenant is a will’ (See Heb 9:16-17) and where there is a will, the death of the one who made it must be proven. For a will takes effect only at death, since it carries no force while the one who made it is alive.)

Peter shared, (1Peter 3:17-20; For it is better to suffer for doing good, if God wills it, than for doing evil. Because Christ also suffered once for sins the just for the unjust to bring you to God by being put to death in the flesh, and by being made alive in the spirit, in it (the spirit) He went and preached to the spirits in prison, after they were disobedient long ago when God patiently waited in the days of Noah as an ark was being constructed. In the ark a few, that is eight souls, were delivered through water.)

Satan is the spirit being Jesus was referring to when His disciples returned from their mission. (Luke 10:17-18; Then the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name! So Jesus said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.) Satan is that powerful spirit being that tempted Jesus, as Holy Scripture describes. Does that powerful devil know God’s Holy Scriptures?

(Matthew 4:1-11; Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After He fasted forty days and forty nights He was famished. The Tempter came and said to Him, If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread. But Jesus answered, ‘It is written, Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ (Quote from Deut 8:3) Then the devil took Him to the holy city, had Him stand on the highest point of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning You’, and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike Your foot against a stone.’ (Quote from Psalms 91:12) Jesus said to him, Once again it is written: ‘You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.’ (Quote from Deut 6:16) Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur. And he said to Jesus, I will give you all these things if you throw Yourself to the ground and worship me. Then Jesus said to him, ‘Go away, Satan! For it is written, You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.’ (Quote from Deut 6:13) Then the devil left Him, and angels came and began ministering to His needs.)

Jesus used Words He Himself had inspired Moses and David write. Satan knew the Son of God, came from His heavenly position, to live in the flesh and give His life for the sins of the world. Knew Jesus was the very Creator that created him and removed him from the heavenly realms. (Satan also knows he is allowed to influence and deceive the nations until a set time when he will be bound, and that his time is now short.)

Man’s organized religion represents synagogues’ of Satan. Jesus said as much through His apostle John and prophet Jeremiah. Let’s review His words. (Rev 3:9; Listen, I am going to make those people from the synagogue of Satan — who say they are Jews yet are not, but are lying — Look, I will make them come and bow down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Because you have kept My admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.)

(Rev 2:8-9; To the angel of the church in Smyrna write the following: This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who is the first and the last, the One who was dead, but came to life: ‘I know the distress you are suffering and your poverty (but you are rich.) I also know the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews and really are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.)

We looked at this in Jeremiah 23: a few studies back and found the same prophetic Words, review it. (The hostile people couldn’t believe Jesus then, nor can they today.

(John 8:19-20; Then they began asking Him, Who is your father? Jesus answered; you do not know either Me or My Father. If you knew Me you would know My Father too. (Jesus spoke these words near the offering box while He was teaching in the temple courts. No one seized Him because His time had not yet come.)

We aren’t embarrassed to repeat, always mindful of new readers.

(John 1:1-4; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God. The Word was with God in the beginning. All things were created by Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. In Him, was life, and the Life, was the light of mankind. And the light shines on in the darkness, but the darkness has not mastered it.)

John understood that Jesus was the Re-creator, Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Redeemer, Savior, the Resurrection, the Believer’s Mediator  and One through whom life is. This One is coming back as King of Kings. It isn’t likely that Jesus’ apostle Paul had access to John’s written gospel account at the time he explained Jesus’ deity to the Colossians.

(Colossians 1:15-20; He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him, all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him, and for Him, He Himself is before all things and all things are held together in Him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He, Himself may become first in all things. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.)

If this Jesus isn’t revealed to our understanding as written, we neither know Him or God the Father. Christians are mindful that Jesus loved them first by revealing Himself to them, so believers love Him as He manifest Himself to be in the holy scriptures. Thus Christians are led to love God the Father and God the Son.

(1John 2:3-6; Now by this we know that we have come to know God, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, I have come to know God, and yet does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in such a person. But whoever obeys His Word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he resides in God ought himself to walk just as Jesus walked.)

Jesus kept the commandments He gave Moses, and made The Way to eternal life through Himself with a New Covenant for believers. Only through God the Son, can Believers inherit eternal life. By believing IN God the Father and God the Son, called out believers are, ‘born from above.’ Gifted with a NEW NATURE. (Review John 3:3-8)

Through a NEW gifted nature Christians are able to comply with Jesus’ words through His apostle Peter.  (1Peter 1:13-25; Therefore, get your minds ready for action by being fully sober, and set your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed. Like obedient children, do not comply with the evil urges you used to follow in your ignorance, but, like the Holy One who CALLED you, become holy yourselves in all of your conduct, for it is written, “You shall be holy, because I am holy.” (Quoting Lev 19:22) And if you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, live out the time of your temporary residence here in reverence. You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed – not by perishable things like silver or gold, but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ. He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for your sake. Through Him you now trust in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God. You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart. You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God. For all flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of the grass; the grass withers and the flower falls off, but the word of the Lord endures forever.)

We’re born anew from the imperishable Seed, the living and enduring word of God, if Jesus lives in us.

Jesus’ Good News: One God, one truth, one way, chapter 12

T0: 32,164 subscribers to God’s view teaching. God’s 1st Mo. Nisan 15, 5,781, 3/28/21.

By God’s standards the old covenant maker with Israel ‘The Lord God Jesus’, had to die in order to institute a new covenant with those who’d become spiritual Israelites. (See Hebrews 1) Remember Jesus’ covenant promises with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, ‘whose name He changed to Israel’ was that He’d be their God and they His people, perpetually.

Today is first of seven annual Sabbaths set aside to keep God’s people attuned to, ‘looking back and forward to His planning.’ He had Israel put leavening out from their residence from the 14th through the 21st of Nisan; the next annual Sabbath. ‘Leavening, that which puffs up’ representing sin.’

Like the old, Jesus’ new covenant sets aside time to consider the inherited sin nature; ‘that nature inherited through pro-creation from Adam’, and how our sin nature can be remitted through Jesus’ faith gifted to called out believers. Let’s begin with Jesus’ perpetual promises to a people called out to be descendents of Abraham.

(Rom 4:13-25; For, the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not fulfilled through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

For, if they become heirs by the law, faith is empty, and the promise is nullified. For the law brings wrath, because where there is no law there is no transgression either. (Next paragraph explores the new covenant.)

For this reason it is by faith so that it may be by grace, with the result that the promise may be certain to all the descendants — not only to those who are under the law, but also to those who have the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations.“) (Quote from Gen 17:5) He is our father in the presence of God whom he believed — the God who makes the dead alive and summons the things that do not yet exist as though they already do.

Against hope Abraham believed in hope, with the result that he became the father of many nations according to the pronouncement, “so will your descendants be.” Without being weak in faith, he considered his own body as dead (because he was about one hundred years old) and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God. He was fully convinced that what God promised He was also able to do. So indeed it was credited to Abraham as righteousness. But the statement it was credited to him was not written only for Abraham’s sake, but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe in the One who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. Jesus was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.) (Study Gen 15:-17)

God did the choosing, as with Isaac by promise; telling Abraham that his descendents ‘by promised faith would be through the one promised, Isaac.’ (However Jesus Christ is The Promised Descendent through whom all believers are saved by promised grace, through faith.) Jesus reveals more through His apostle Paul’s resurrection chapter; it’s the new covenant administered after Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension.

(1Cor 15:17-34; For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins. Furthermore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished. For if only in this life we have hope in Christ, we should be pitied more than anyone. But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the first-fruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him. (It’s the new covenant, the old always looked forward to.)

Then comes the end, when Jesus hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For Jesus must reign until God the Father has put all His enemies under Jesus’ feet.

The last enemy to be eliminated is death. For He has put everything in subjection under His feet. But when it says ‘everything’ has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the One who put everything in subjection to Him.

And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be subjected to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all. Otherwise, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, then why are they baptized for them? Why too are we in danger every hour?

Every day I am in danger of death! This is as sure as my boasting in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord. If from a human point of view I fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what did it benefit me? If the dead are not raised, let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die. Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”  Sober up as you should, and stop sinning! For some have no knowledge of God — I say this to your shame!)

What a shame, Satan has deceived the whole world. All religions and Christendom in the main, believes in something akin to, ‘a hell or heaven doctrine’, rather than the resurrections, ‘each in their own order.’ (Study 2Cor 4: to discern Jesus’ faith, and apply to yourself.)

The New Covenant is by Grace through Jesus’ faith.

(Eph 2:1-10; And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which he loved us, even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ — by grace you are saved! — and He raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast. For, we are His workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.) (It’s the New Covenant, gifted to believers, because the One through whom the first was, purposely died.)

The New Covenant make all believers One in Christ.

(Eph 2:11-22; Therefore remember that formerly you, Gentiles in the flesh — who are called “un-circumcision” by the so-called “circumcision” that is performed on the body by human hands,- (that you were at that time without the Messiah, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He is our peace, the One who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility, when He nullified in His flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in Himself one new man out of two, thus making peace, and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. And He came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near, (Peace with Israel and gentiles) so that through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the Saints and members of God’s household, because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Cornerstone. In him the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Jesus had Paul explain circumcision & being at One, to the Colossians.

(Col 2:9-15; For in Him all the fullness of deity lives in bodily form, and you have been filled in Him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.  In Him you also were circumcised — not, however, with a circumcision performed by human hands, but by the removal of the fleshly body, that is, through the circumcision done by Christ.

Having been buried with Him in baptism, you also have been raised with Him through your faith in the power of God who raised Him from the dead. And even though you were dead in your transgressions and in the un-circumcision of your flesh, He nevertheless made you alive with Him, having forgiven all your transgressions. He has destroyed what was against us, a certificate of indebtedness expressed in decrees opposed to us. He has taken it away by nailing it to the cross. Disarming the rulers and authorities, He has made a public disgrace of them, triumphing over them by the cross.)

After explaining the old, the writer of Hebrews explains the new covenant.     Redemption Through the Blood of Christ

(Heb 9:11-28; Now Christ has come as the High Priest of the good things to come. He passed through the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation, and He entered once for all into the Most Holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by His own blood, and so He Himself secured eternal redemption.

For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow sprinkled on those who are defiled consecrated them and provided ritual purity, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, purify our consciences from dead works to worship the living God.

And so He is the Mediator of a New Covenant, so that those who are called may receive the eternal inheritance He has promised, since He died to set them free from the violations committed under the first covenant.

For where there is a will, the death of the One who made it must be proven. For a will takes effect only at death, since it carries no force while the One who made it is alive.

So, even the first covenant was inaugurated with blood. For when Moses had spoken every command to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats with water and scarlet wool and hyssop and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that God has commanded you to keep.” And both the tabernacle and all the utensils of worship he likewise sprinkled with blood. Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

So it was necessary for the sketches of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves required better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands — the representation of the true sanctuary — but into heaven itself, and He appears now in God’s presence for us. And he did not enter to offer Himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the sanctuary year after year with blood that is not his own, for then He would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world.

But now He has appeared once for all at the consummation of the ages to put away sin by His sacrifice. And just as people are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await Him, He will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.

Today at sunset begins the 14th of Nisan, ;Passover’, and the 15th of Nisan is God’s 1st annual Sabbath. God had the Israelites put leavening out of their homes to stress the need for putting sin away. We should set aside His holy time to think seriously about putting sin out, and obey all we understand.

God puts leaders that people deserve over them, and in these latter days they’re the simplest of understanding, because citizens openly advocated principles God hates, and vote for the ungodly. Does what God reveals through Isaiah fit what we see? (Isaiah 3:9-12; The look on their faces testifies to their guilt; like the people of Sodom they openly boast of their sin. Too bad for them! For they bring disaster on themselves. Telling the innocent it will go well with them, for they will be rewarded for what they have done. Too bad for the wicked sinners! For, they will get exactly what they deserve. Oppressors treat My people cruelly; creditors rule over them. My people’s leaders mislead them; they give you confusing directions.) Posted on face book, by (His View Assemblies)

It isn’t rocket science, it is God’s way, and judgment. Leaders need to speak of Godly values, and repentance, and know who sends plagues.

Only Jesus’ gifted spirit to the mind can make one righteous in His view. No person‘s right standing before God can be gifted to another. God had Ezekiel explain. (Ezek 14:19-20; Or suppose I were to send a plague into that land, and pour out My rage on it with bloodshed, killing both people and animals. Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign Lord, they could not save their own son or daughter; they would save only their lives by their righteousness.)

Sins can only be remitted, and people saved to eternal life through Jesus’ gifting His spirit to a person’s mind, making them ‘at One’ with Himself and God our Father. All prophesied through God called servants.

Old covenant blood sacrifices ordained by God always looked forward to Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. ‘His shed blood for the remission of sin, and people’s saving.’ On that Passover evening prior to Jesus delivering Israel from Egyptian bondage through Moses, God had them put sheep or goat’s blood over doors saved from the death angel plague on Egypt. That looked forward to Jesus’ future saving a chosen people from the result of sin. God ordained animal blood sacrifices by ordained Levite Priest, forgiving past sins, looked forward to repentant believers in Jesus being forgiven.

The Pharisees, Sadducees and Jesus’ apostles were looking for a Savior likened to Moses, ‘until Jesus opened their minds, giving understanding of the holy scriptures. Until then, ’even though Jesus’ deeds were witnessed’ His apostles thought of Him in fleshly terms.

Pharisees and Sadducees were mindful that Mary’s husband ‘Joseph’ was not Jesus’ father. (John 8:41-47; Then they said to Jesus, We were not born as a result of immorality! We have only one Father, God Himself. Jesus replied, ‘If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. Why don’t you understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot accept My teaching. You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I am telling you the truth, you do not believe Me. Who among you can prove Me guilty of any sin?

If I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe Me? The one who belongs to God listens and responds to God’s Words. You don’t listen and respond, because you don’t belong to God.)

As prophesied by Jesus, Satan is the god of this world, and the world is listening. Like Pharisees and Sadducees, Christendom denominational minded people are superstitions, and have a lawless foundation. The cause is the god of this age’s deceptions.

The effect is that Love has waxed cold, proper respect of God’s authority has vanishes, and His commandments twisted. Knowledge of God’s being unchanging in principle, and His promises of a new world order aren‘t taught properly. Strange teachings take hold, knowledge of Jesus’ deity is lost on people desiring to go the way that seems right to their fleshly minds. People aren’t taught that Jesus is; ‘Re-creator, Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Mediator, and the coming King of Kings.

(Hebrews 13:7-9: Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever! Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For, it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them.)

The believer’s outlook is spiritually SHAPED to believe God’s Truth, and turn from human hero worship, which is akin to idolatry. Digest Paul’s words to the Roman Believers.

(Rom 8:5-17; For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to Him. But, if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness. Moreover if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the One who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through His Spirit who lives in you. So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh (for if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. For, you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.

The Spirit itself bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with Him so we may also be glorified with Him.)

Jesus’ re-creation, creation, deeds, death, resurrection, appearing to His apostles, sending the holy spirit on that first Pentecost afterward, and His promised return, reign, and judge righteously makes believers enthusiastic. Our children should be taught to reflect on the Psalmist thinking.

(Psalms 146:1-10; Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! I will praise the Lord as long as I live! I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist! Do not trust in princes, or in human beings, who cannot deliver! Their life’s breath departs, they return to the ground; on that day their plans die. How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the One who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who remains forever faithful, vindicates the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The Lord releases the imprisoned.

The Lord gives sight to the blind. The Lord lifts up all who are bent over. The Lord loves the godly. The Lord protects those residing outside their native land; He lifts up the fatherless and the widow, but He opposes the wicked. The Lord rules forever, your God O Zion, throughout the generations to come!)

Our children need to be taught that God is the giver of all good things; like understanding, and especially revealed knowledge. Paul closed his letter to the Romans as follows.

(Romans 16:25-27; Now to Him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel, and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that had been kept secret for long ages, but now is disclosed, and through the prophetic scriptures has been made known to all the nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith – to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be glory forever! Amen.)

Except there be a holy, righteous all knowing Creator God, there would be no genuine need for a particular moral code of conduct. Believing IN the God of Abraham is to know by faith that He is; (1) holy, (2) righteous, (3) all knowing, (4) only mankind is made in His image, (5) there’s purposes in His creations, and (6) He gave mankind His particular moral code, whereby people are blessed when they choose to live therein.

So, let’s look up, teach our children to look up, consider the heavenly bodies, the sun, moon, their precise movements, and the force sustaining them. The force, keeping the sun burning at the right temperature, sustaining life on earth. The force keeping this earth’s moon in its precise position, in turn controlling sea level. Then consider the motivation in people’s minds that makes them want to think these controls are by some accident.

Modern Christendom’s foundation is the god Baal, & other pagan gods: the reason Romans named God’s 7th day Sabbath for, Saturn, God’s 1st day the Sun, 2nd day the moon, 3rd day Mars, 4th day Mercury, ‘also called Wooden’s day’, 5th day for Jupiter, ‘god of thunder’, and 6th day, frigedaeg, ‘day of the goddess Frigg.’

Customs, practices, attention to these pagan gods are celebrated times, such as the winter Equinox ‘Christmas’, fertility goddess ‘Easter’, being popular with Christendom groups. These things are why Jesus’ apostle Paul was inspired to write to the Rome church of God and all believers.

(Rom 1:24-27; Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.)

Our Creator God creates from nothing. He created, still creates, sustains all we can see, and the universe. He has preplanned another re-creation, judgment, physical and spiritual resurrections, ‘re-creating life.’

(Ezekiel 37:11-14; Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Look, they are saying, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope has perished; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy, and tell them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I am about to open your graves and will raise you from your graves, My people. I will bring you to the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, My people. I will place My breath in you and you will live; I will give you rest in your own land. Then you will know that I am the Lord – I have spoken and I will act, declares the Lord.) Always study the whole.

To believe IN is to live by God new covenant, and gifted faith. On that Passover when Jesus died for the sins of the world, Matthew recorded a forerunner to the great preplanned resurrections.

(Matthew 27:50-54; Then Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up His spirit. Just then the temple curtain was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks were split apart. And tombs were opened, and the bodies of many Saints who had died raised. (They came out of the tombs after His resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.) Now when the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what took place, they were extremely terrified and said, “Truly this One was God’s Son!”)

Knowing and believing in God’s awesomeness, is to live by Jesus’ faith as Abraham did. Few, particularly this world’s educated, are personally and spiritually taught the foundational fact Paul presents at Romans 3: ‘Let God be true though every person be found a liar.’

Jesus’ immaculate supernatural birth, teachings, miracles, His death, resurrection, supernatural return afterward, presenting Himself alive to His apostles was pre-planned, as is His second coming, the resurrections and peace on earth. He’s the Believer’s Savior, supernatural deliverer of His people, in a fashion likened to His deliverance of Israel from Egypt, ‘are major parts of Jesus’ pre-planned mission.’ Jesus foretold and had Moses say to the people,  (Deut 18:15-22; The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you – from your fellow Israelites; you must listen to Him. This accords with what happened at Horeb in the day of the assembly. You asked the Lord your God: ‘Please do not make us hear the voice of the Lord our God any more or see this great fire any more lest we die.’ The Lord then said to me, “What they have said is good. I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put My words in His mouth and He will speak to them whatever I command. I will personally hold responsible anyone who then pays no attention to the words that prophet speaks in My name.”

But if any prophet presumes to speak anything in My name that I have not authorized him to speak, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. Now if you say to yourselves, ‘How can we tell that a message is not from the Lord?’ whenever a prophet speaks in My name and the prediction is not fulfilled, then I have not spoken it; ‘the prophet has presumed to speak it’ so you need not fear him.)

Through Moses, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel and others, is the prophesied coming Shepherd’s, mission. The saving of His people, with a gifted spiritual nature change, and their inheriting eternal life, was all prophesied.

Satan don’t want it known.

God knew the result of Satan’s deceptive words to Eve and how the world would succumb to the false teaching that would be followed by demonically led people with agendas. Jesus revealed to Paul and believers.

(2Corinthians 11:13-15; For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.)

Jesus’ words through Paul are principally, and exactly as through Moses.

(Deuteronomy 31:16-23; Then the Lord said to Moses, “You are about to die, and then these people will begin to prostitute themselves with the foreign gods of the land into which they are going. They will reject Me and break My covenant that I have made with them. At that time My anger will erupt against them and I will abandon them and hide My face from them until they are devoured. Many disasters and distresses will overcome them so that they will say at that time, ‘Have not these disasters overcome us because our God is not among us?’ But I will certainly hide Myself at that time because of all the wickedness they will have done by turning to other gods.

“Now write down for yourselves the following song and teach it to the Israelites. Put it into their very mouths so that this song may serve as My witness against the Israelites! For after I have brought them to the land I promised to their ancestors – one flowing with milk and honey – and they eat their fill and become fat, then they will turn to other gods and worship them; they will reject Me and break My covenant. Then when many disasters and distresses overcome them this song will testify against them, for their descendants will not forget it.”

God continues to speak through Moses.

(I know the intentions they have in mind today, even before I bring them to the land I have promised. So on that day Moses wrote down this song and taught it to the Israelites, and the Lord commissioned Joshua son of Nun, “Be strong and courageous, for you will take the Israelites to the land I have promised them, and I will be with you.)

(Deut 31:24-30: When Moses finished writing on a scroll the words of this law in their entirety, he commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the Lord’s covenant, “Take this scroll of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God. It will remain there as a witness against you, for I know about your rebellion and stubbornness. Indeed, even while I have been living among you to this very day, you have rebelled against the Lord; you will be even more rebellious after my death!

“Gather to me all your tribal elders and officials so I can speak to them directly about these things and call the heavens and the earth to witness against them. For I know that after I die you will totally corrupt yourselves and turn away from the path I have commanded you to walk. Disaster will confront you in the days to come because you will act wickedly before the Lord, inciting him to anger because of your actions.”

Then Moses recited the words of this song from start to finish in the hearing of the whole assembly of Israel.)

After Samuel, Saul and David, other kings ruled Israel. One respecting God’s way ridded the land of paganism and the people were blessed for a time, then a vanity filled king would turn them back to paganism; until God dispersed them. Thank God for His promise; “all Israel will be saved.” (See Romans 11:26 and review Ezekiel 37:

Jesus closes His revelations to John saying the following and more;  Rev 22:10-12; Then He said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy contained in this book, because the time is near. The evildoer must continue to do evil, and the one who is morally filthy must continue to be filthy. The one who is righteous must continue to act righteously, and the one who is holy must continue to be holy.” (Look! I am coming soon, and my reward is with Me to pay each one according to what he has done!)

We studied Jesus’ revelations through John, and His prophet Jeremiah, regarding false teachers last time, let’s continue that; (Jer 23:14: But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to Me, and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.)

Did the Roman Catholic Pope recently say ‘he couldn’t judge homosexuality?

(Jer 23:15-21; So then I, the Lord who rules over all, have something to say concerning the prophets of Jerusalem: ‘I will make these prophets eat the bitter food of suffering and drink the poison water of judgment. For, the prophets of Jerusalem are the reason that ungodliness has spread throughout the land.’ The Lord who rules over all says to the people of Jerusalem: (Do not listen to what those prophets are saying to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They are reporting visions of their own imaginations, not something the Lord has given them to say.) They continually say to those who reject what the Lord has said, ‘Things will go well for you!’ They say to all those who follow the stubborn inclinations of their own hearts, ‘Nothing bad will happen to you!’ Yet which of them has ever stood in the Lord’s inner circle, so they could see and hear what he has to say? Which of them have ever paid attention or listened to what He has said? But just watch! The wrath of the Lord will come like a storm! Like a raging storm it will rage down on the heads of those who are wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until He has fully carried out His intended purposes. In days to come you people will come to understand this clearly. I did not send those prophets. Yet they were in a hurry to give their message. I did not tell them anything. Yet they prophesied anyway.)

The Lord God has not authorized man’s seminary schools of theory.

(Jer 23:22-40; But if they had stood in My inner circle, they would have proclaimed My message to My people. They would have caused My people to turn from their wicked ways and stop doing the evil things they are doing. Do you people think that I am some local deity and not the transcendent God? the Lord asks. “Do you really think anyone can hide himself where I cannot see him? the Lord asks.” “Do you not know that I am everywhere? the Lord asks.”

The Lord says, “I have heard what those prophets who are prophesying lies in My name are saying. They are saying, ‘I have had a dream! I have had a dream!’ Those prophets are just prophesying lies. They are prophesying the delusions of their own minds. How long will they go on plotting to make My people forget who I am, through the dreams they tell one another? That is just as bad as what their ancestors did when they forgot who I am by worshiping the god Baal.

Let the prophet who has had a dream go ahead and tell his dream. Let the person who has received My message report that message faithfully. (Compare with the Rev. 22: text above.) What is like straw cannot compare to what is like grain! I, the Lord, affirm it! My message is like a fire that purges dross! It is like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces! I, the Lord, so affirm it! So I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who steal messages from one another that they claim are from Me. I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who are using their own tongues to declare, ‘The Lord declare.’

I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who dream up lies and report them. They are misleading My people with their reckless lies. I did not send them. I did not commission them. They are not helping these people at all. I, the Lord, affirm it!)

The Lord said to me, “Jeremiah, when one of these people, or a prophet, or a priest asks you, ‘What burdensome message do you have from the Lord?’ Tell them, ‘You are the burden, and I will cast you away. I, the Lord, affirm it! I will punish any prophet, priest, or other person who says “The Lord’s message is burdensome.” I will punish both that person and his whole family.

So I, Jeremiah, tell you, “Each of you people should say to his friend or his relative, ‘How did the Lord answer? Or what did the Lord say?’ You must no longer say that the Lord’s message is burdensome. For what is ‘burdensome’ really pertains to what a person himself says. You are misrepresenting the words of our God, the living God, the Lord who rules over all. Each of you should merely ask the prophet, ‘What answer did the Lord give you? Or what did the Lord say?’ But just suppose you continue to say, ‘The message of the Lord is burdensome.’ Here is what the Lord says will happen: ‘I sent word to you that you must not say, “The Lord’s message is burdensome.” But you used the words “The Lord’s message is burdensome” anyway. So I will carry you far off and throw you away. I will send both you and the city I gave to you and to your ancestors out of My sight. I will bring on you lasting shame and lasting disgrace which will never be forgotten!)

Religious teachers leave the principles of Godly love, teach that God’s commandments, and the rearing of Godly children are burdensome. That may seem burdensome to people who love this world’s system of things. (As with the family structure, and rearing children, most love this world’s system of things, desire to be politically correct, popular with the majorities, rather than practice the freedoms of Godly love.)

(Proverbs 22:6; Train a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.) God’s old and new covenants are same in principle. Godly love respects authority, and likely caused Jesus’ apostle Paul to remember; (Deuteronomy 5:16; Honor your father and your mother just as the Lord your God has commanded you to do, so that your days may be extended and that it may go well with you in the land that He is about to give you.)

A Godly child’s foundation must allow the God of Noah, Seth, Abraham, Jeremiah, Jesus and His twelve apostles be proven true, and every disagreeing individual be proven a liar. Only possible when people are yielded to the real, Lord God ’Jesus’, and shunning this world’s system of things.

While the world turned to imaginary gods, God was planning to sanctify descendints of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by promise, and gifting them with spiritual principles. Purposely pre-planning promises to Abraham’s physical and spiritual family. He planned Jacob’s twelve tribes go to Egyptian bondage for exactly 430 years; which is a forerunner of today’s world bondage to the current demonic system of things. Demonstrating His control of the nations, and people groups according to plan. Holy scripture makes clear, the Lord God is primarily revealing Himself to descendints of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, while allowing others go the way that seem right to their fleshly imaginative instinctive natures.

Our Creator prophesied through Moses, ‘that after him the people would succumb to imaginary gods, namely and primarily the god called Baal.’) Moses prophetic words unfold as a witness to this present age. We have the history of God’s allowing the dispersion of His chosen people as He promised, first ten tribes then later the tribe of Judah.

The foundation of people’s desire to make and worship imaginary gods, revolve around Satan’s deceptive words to Eve regarding immortality and people’s desire to be divine. Such thinking appeals to people’s instinctive fleshly nature, to think highly of their own intellect. (It isn’t natural within people’s fleshly minds to, ‘Let God be proven true, though every person be shown up as a liar. Romans 3:3-4)

So people make imaginary gods fit their conjured up beliefs, rather than accept the reality presented through the likes of Jeremiah. (Prefer to look to others, ‘particularly people with scholarly degrees’ rather than believing IN God as He manifest Himself to be in the holy scriptures.) How is that? Allow our Creator’s words through Isaiah.

(Isaiah 40:12-31; Who has measured out the waters in the hollow of His hand, or carefully measured the sky, or carefully weighed the soil of the earth, or weighed the mountains in a balance, or the hills on scales? Who comprehends the mind of the Lord, or gives Him instruction as His counselor? From whom does He receive directions? Who teaches Him the correct way to do things, or imparts knowledge to Him, or instructs Him in skillful design? Look, the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales. He lifts the coastlands as if they were dust. Not even Lebanon could supply enough firewood for a sacrifice; its wild animals would not provide enough burnt offerings. All the nations are insignificant before Him; they are regarded as absolutely nothing.”

“To whom can you compare God? To what image can you liken Him? A craftsman casts an idol; a metal smith overlays it with gold and forges silver chains for it. To make a contribution one selects wood that will not rot; he then seeks a skilled craftsman to make an idol that will not fall over. Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told to you since the very beginning? Have you not understood from the time the earth’s foundations were made? He is the one who sits on the earth’s horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before Him. He is the One who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent. He is the one who reduces rulers to nothing; He makes the earth’s leaders insignificant. Indeed, they are barely planted; yes, they are barely sown; yes, they barely take root in the earth, and then He blows on them, causing them to dry up and the wind carries them away like straw.”

“To whom can you compare Me? Whom do I resemble?” says the Holy One. Look up at the sky! Who created all these heavenly lights? He is the One who leads out their ranks; He calls them all by name. Because of His absolute power and awesome strength, not one of them is missing.”

“Why do you say, Jacob, Why do you say, Israel, “The Lord is not aware of what is happening to me, My God is not concerned with my vindication”? Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is an eternal God, the Creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to His wisdom. He gives strength to those who are tired; to the ones who lack power, He gives renewed energy. Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. But those who wait for the Lord’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.”)

Jesus’ Good News, one God, one trut, one way, chapter 8

    T0: 32,073 subscribers: Church of God teaching. God’s 1st Mo. Nisan 7, 5,781, 3/20/21.

Divided denominations of man represent synagogues of Satan. Jesus say’s as much through His apostle John and prophet Jeremiah.

(Rev 3:9; Listen! I am going to make those people from the synagogue of Satan — who say they are Jews yet are not, but are lying — Look, I will make them come and bow down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Because you have kept My admonition to endure steadfastly, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth.)

(Rev 2:8-9; To the angel of the church in Smyrna write the following: “This is the solemn pronouncement of the One who is the first and the last, the One who was dead, but came to life: ‘I know the distress you are suffering and your poverty (but you are rich.) I also know the slander against you by those who call themselves Jews and really are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.)

(Jeremiah 23:1-6; The Lord says; leaders of My people are sure to be judged. They were supposed to watch over My people like shepherds watch over their sheep. But they are causing My people to be destroyed and scattered. So the Lord God of Israel has this to say about the leaders who are ruling over His people: “You have caused My people to be dispersed and driven into exile. You have not taken care of them. So I will punish you for the evil that you have done. I, the Lord, affirm it!

Then I Myself will re-gather those of My people who are still alive from all the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their homeland. They will greatly increase in number. I will install rulers over them who will care for them. Then they will no longer need to fear or be terrified. None of them will turn up missing. I, the Lord, promise it!

I, the Lord, promise that a new time will certainly come when I will raise up for them a righteous branch, a descendant of David, He will rule over them with wisdom and understanding and will do what is just and right in the land. Under His rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name He will go by: ‘The Lord has provided us with justice.’)

All preplanned: when Jacob’s name was changed to Israel, God was in fact saying, ‘I will fight for you.’ The literal meaning of the word, ‘Israel’ is: God fights, or fights for.

(Jeremiah 23:7-8; So I, the Lord, say: ‘A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with ‘I swear as surely as the Lord lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.’ But at that time they will affirm them with I swear as surely as the Lord lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where He had banished them.’ At that time they will live in their own land.)

Punishment of false teachers coming.

(Jeremiah 23:9-13; Here is what the Lord says concerning the false prophets, My heart and My mind are deeply disturbed. I tremble all over. I am like a drunk person, like a person who has had too much wine, because of the way the Lord and His holy Word are being mistreated. For the land is full of people unfaithful to Him. They live wicked lives and they misuse their power. So the land is dried up because it is under His curse. The pastures in the wilderness are withered.

Moreover, the Lord says, “Both the prophets and priests are godless. I have even found them doing evil in My temple! So the paths they follow will be dark and slippery. They will stumble and fall headlong. For I will bring disaster on them. A day of reckoning is coming for them.”

The Lord says, “I saw the prophets of Samaria doing something that was disgusting. They prophesied in the name of the god Baal and led My people Israel astray.”)

Take time to research, Christendom foundation is the teaching old Baal doctrines ignorantly, condoning pagan practices in the name of Jesus, and leading people down the broad road to destruction.

After the Noah day flood, holy scripture reveals, ‘God made a new beginning through that righteous man.’ Noah was God’s warning witness, that destruction coming if people didn’t change their ways. Afterward, the Lord God Jesus revealed through Ezekiel that each individual is responsible.

(Ezek 14:19-23; Or suppose I were to send a plague into that land, and pour out my rage on it with bloodshed, killing both people and animals. Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, they could not save their own son or daughter; “they would save only their lives by their righteousness.”

“For this is what the sovereign Lord says; How much worse will it be when I send My four terrible judgments – sword, famine, wild animals, and plague – to Jerusalem to kill both people and animals! Yet some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out. They will come out to you, and when you see their behavior and their deeds, you will be consoled about the catastrophe I have brought on Jerusalem – for everything I brought on it. They will console you when you see their behavior and their deeds, because you will know that it was not without reason that I have done everything which I have done in it, declares the Sovereign Lord.”)

God’s reason is justice, hatred of evil, love of righteousness. God is love. He gave Israel pagan lands, and destroyed Sodom/Gomorrah out of love.

A new faith covenant beginning was always in God’s plan through,

‘Jesus’ who’d save sinners as the sacrificial Lamb of God

Abraham as father of the faithful, represents a new beginning of obedience through faith and love of God’s way. The Lord God had revealed His disappointments with the world, through His prophets during and after Abraham’s day. It was the Lord God ’Jesus’ appearing to Abram and saying, ’move from this place to where I will show you.’ At age 75 he began moving as directed; to Haran, Canaan, Shechem, down to Egypt and the hill country East of Bethel, there he built an altar. (See Gen 12:9) Abram continually journeyed by stages down to the Negev.

Abraham passed his wife, ‘Sarai’ off as his sister. Her beauty caught the eye of Pharaoh, and he brought her to his place, but the Lord struck him and his household with severe diseases because of Sarai. So he summoned Abram and said, what is this you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?

(Gen 12:19-20; Why did you say, ‘She is my sister so that I took her to be my wife?’ Here is your wife! Take her and go! Pharaoh gave his men orders about Abram, so they expelled him, along with his wife and all his possessions.)

Abraham and Lot’s processions grew to the point, they agreed to part. Afterward when kings fought, Abraham went to Lot’s rescue. (Gen 14:17-18) When Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet Abram in the Valley of Shaveh (known as the King’s Valley. (Don’t confuse Sodom with Salem.)

Priest of the Most High in Abraham’s day.

Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (Now He was the priest of the Most High God.) He blessed Abram saying, (Blessed be Abram by the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth. Worthy of praise is the Most High God, who delivered your enemies into your hand.) Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything.

Salem was traditionally known as the Jebusite stronghold of old Jerusalem, and there’s much speculation about its king. Some identified him with the reincarnate Christ, or with Noah’s son ‘Shem.’ Melchizedek is Jesus, or an angelic ambassador of Jesus’. Melchizedek had authority to renew promises, and blessing to Abram. Abram considered Melchizedek his spiritual superior, appearing on the scene without genealogy, then disappears from the narrative. (At Psalm 110 the Lord declares that the Davidic King is a royal priest after the pattern of Melchizedek.) In his royal priestly status Melchizedek is a type of Christ, superior to the ancestors of Israel, serving as, ‘both a king and a priest.’ Melchizedek served the Most High Sovereign God, creator of all the universe. Abram had in Melchizedek a spiritual brother.

(Gen 14:21; Then the king of Sodom said to Abram, ‘Give me the people, and take the possessions for yourself.’ But Abram replied to the king of Sodom, ‘I raise my hand to the Lord, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow that I will take nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal. That way you can never say, ‘It is I who made Abram rich.’ I will take only compensation for what the young men have eaten. As for the share of the men who went with me; Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre, let them take their share.)

Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything, but kept nothing for himself. People were going the way that seemed right, ‘then and now only those God reveals Himself to forsakes their way for His way.’

From last study, let’s make Paul’s prayer our own, if we love believers.

Thanksgiving and Prayer ……(Eph 1:15-23; For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you when I remember you in my prayers. I pray that the God o f our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of Him, since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened — so that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what is the wealth of His glorious inheritance in the Saints, and what is the incomparable greatness of His power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of His immense strength. For power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things. Now the church is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.)

Heirs with Abraham know, he was gifted to understand the Lord God’s deeds and awesomeness. He knew Isaac was miraculous gifted to Sarah and him. Isaac’s birth was by promise, and they were past reproductive ages. When the Lord God commanded Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, he knew God could return him, because He had promised Abraham heirs through Isaac.

(Gen 17:17-22; Then Abraham bowed down with his face to the ground and laughed as he said to himself, Can a son be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Can Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety? Abraham said to God, O that Ishmael might live before you! God said, No, Sarah your wife is going to bear you a son, and you will name him Isaac. I will confirm My covenant with him as a perpetual covenant for his descendants after him.

As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will indeed bless him, make him fruitful, and give him a multitude of descendants. He will become the father of twelve princes; I will make him into a great nation. But I will establish My covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year. When he finished speaking with Abraham, God went up from him.

Isaac was a young boy when the Lord God ’Jesus’ tested Abraham, saying, sacrifice your only son: when he was about to obey and still believing a sacrifice would be provided, Abraham heard a voice.) (Always study the whole, now skip to chapter 22.

(Gen 22:12-18; Do not harm the boy! the angel said, do not do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, because you did not withhold your son, your only son, from Me. Abraham looked up and saw behind him a ram caught in the bushes by its horns. So he went over and got the ram, and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place, ‘The Lord provides.’ It is said to this day ‘in the mountain of the Lord’ provision will be made.

The Lord’s angel called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said, I solemnly swear by My own name, decrees the Lord, ‘that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be as countless as the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the strongholds of their enemies. Because you have obeyed Me, all the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.)

The Lord God ‘Jesus’ was looking to His second return; ‘when He’ll usher in a new world order.’ Jesus gave His apostles this understanding, so let’s review, (Gal 3:29; If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.) Oh those wonderful promises!

Consider another promise and commands God makes to children who honor their parents at Ephesians 6:1-8. Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely, ‘that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth.’..    Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but raise them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart as to Christ, not like those who do their work only when someone is watching – as people-pleasers – but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart. Obey with enthusiasm, as though serving the Lord and not people, because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this will be rewarded by the Lord.)

These are selfless attributes God develops in Christians. Amounting to overcoming pride, supposed intellectual superiority, recognizing demonic power, position & money, all come from gifted spiritual discernment. Remember Jesus’ Words spoken no less than eight times, (he that overcomes to the end will be saved.) Saying at Revelations 21:8, ‘the bad things many do that will result in their second and eternal death.

(Eph 6:9; Masters, treat your slaves the same way, giving up the use of threats, because you know that both you and they have the same master in heaven, and there is no favoritism with Him.)

Even unbelieving people respect fairness, but ‘can’t conjure up believing IN Jesus faith,’ nor comprehend the schemes of the devil as believers are gifted to understand. God is allowing Satan to be, god of this age prior to Jesus’ return.

(Eph 6:10-20; Finally, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the strength of His power. Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand...  Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness, by fitting your feet with the preparation that comes from the good news of peace, and in all of this, by taking up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the Saints. Pray for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speak – that I may confidently make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.)

May we each understand the mystery of this gospel, ‘the good news’ and never be ashamed of being called to be Jesus’ ambassador. Jesus and His angels do sometimes manifest themselves as men. (When visiting Abraham and Sarah in route to Sodom and Gomorra, on that occasion, ‘the birth of Isaac was promise,’ and Sarah laughed to think such a thing possible. When time came to go to Sodom the Lord said; ‘Should I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? After all, Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using his name. I have chosen him so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. Then the Lord will give to Abraham what He promised him.’)

Abraham was chosen, before the foundation of the world, and there’s purpose in that choice. By Abraham’s believing IN faith, his descendents, ‘including primarily followers of Jesus in this age,’ keep the ways of God, by doing what’s right and just in God’s view. In the coming millennial age, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendents will be awarded all Jesus’ promises.

All followers of Jesus are Abraham’s spiritual descendents by promise as was Isaac: spiritual Israelites, having the same promises; ‘which is to be heirs with Abraham.’ (Review Galatians 3:29)

(Genesis 18:20-21; So the Lord said to Abraham, ‘the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so blatant that I must go down and see if they are as wicked as the outcry suggests. If not, I want to know.) ..Abraham’s nephew ‘Lot’ was in that place, he was concerned about him and others who might be God fearing. So Abraham proceeded to, ‘do a countdown’, asking the Lord God whether Sodom could be spared if certain numbers of righteous people were there.

(Gen 18:32-33; Finally Abraham said, ‘May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?’ The Lord replied, ‘I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.’ The Lord went on His way when He had finished speaking to Abraham.)

Consider Jesus’ Words through Jeremiah about this age, and His words to John identifying Christians as Jews. (See Revelations 2:9 & 3:9)

Jesus’ Good News: One god, one truth, one way; chapter 6

 T0: 32,010 subscribers to God’s view teaching. God’s 12th Mo. Nisan 1, 5,781, 3/14/21

Today starts a new year on God’s calendar, new moons tell us the beginnings of each month; on the 14th of Nisan ‘March 27’ is Passover, it begins on March 26 sunset. It was a Passover when the Lord had Moses instructed Moses to have the Israelites put the blood of a sheep or goat on their door facings, so the death angel would pass them by. It was the final plague on the Egyptians, making the Pharaoh decide to release the Israelites from bondage to Moses. They were prepared to leave speedily early morning. The Lord channeled the waters of the Red Sea, allowing their crossing on dry land, and commanded them to keep the Passover season perpetually.

Passover is mentioned in 72 separate verses in holy scripture, and always looked forward to the Lord Jesus shedding His own blood to remit the sins of believing people. The day after Passover, ‘Nisan 15’ is the first of seven annual Sabbaths, and the 22nd the second. The seven day feast of unleavened bread is a foreshadowing of believers’ need to put sins out; overcome the sin nature through Jesus’ gifted faith. The Hebrews writer, we believe to be Paul, was giving to understand Jesus’ deity and shares.

(Heb 1:1-4; After God spoke long ago in various portions and in various ways to our ancestors through the prophets, in these last days He has spoken to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He created the world. The Son is the radiance of His glory and the representation of His essence, and He sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when He had accomplished cleansing for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. Thus He became so far better than the angels as He has inherited a name superior to theirs. Quoting from Psalms 2:7 and other text the Hebrews writer continues.

(Heb 1:5-14; For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are My son! Today I have fathered you“? And in another place He says, “I will be His father and He will be My Son.”

But when He again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, “Let all the angels of God worship Him!” And He says of the angels, “He makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire,” (Quote from Psalms 104:4) but of the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and a righteous scepter is the scepter of Your kingdom.

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. So God, Your God, has anointed You over your companions with the oil of rejoicing.” (Quote from Psalms 45:6-7)

And, “You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord, and the heavens are the works of Your hands. They will perish, but You continue. And they will all grow old like a garment, and like a robe you will fold them up: and like a garment they will be changed, but You are the same and your years will never run out.

But to which of the angels has He ever said, “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet“? (Quote from Psalms 110:1) Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?)

The Son of God, ‘Jesus’ so loves that He re-created, sustains this planet, and created Adam and Eve in His and His father’s image, ‘likeness’, for the ultimate purpose of making all believers in Jesus joint heirs with Abraham. It was Jesus making perpetual covenant promises with Noah, then Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and descendents, Jesus so loved that He willingly came in the flesh to experience fleshly life, overcome sin, and shed His blood, ‘dying’, so to authenticate His new blood covenant, ‘as the Lamb of God’ for the remission of sins. (A new eternal spiritual covenant with chosen believers who’d become as spiritual Israelites.) Jesus revealed and explains through His apostle Paul.

(Galatians 3:27-29; For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith. Far, all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female — for all of you are one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.)

Believers in Jesus are gifted to understand, His deeds were done to prove Himself Son of God, and magnify the Father. He created aged wine from water, re-created fish and bread feeding thousands, healed, and gave live back to Lazarus; proving Himself to be the One who Re-created this earth from its previous chaos, created all life, and is still this earth’s and universe’s Sustainer, all by the will of God the Father. Even so Jesus told them.

(John 14:10-14; Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you, I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father residing in Me performs His miraculous deeds. Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me, but if you do not believe Me, believe because of the miraculous deeds themselves. I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in Me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.)

To ask in Jesus’ name; is as an ambassador in His nature.

Not only did Jesus do the deeds, He healed through His apostles; made Peter’s shadow passing over people heal. Believers in Jesus look forward to more deeds, the resurrection to a new spiritual life as promised, being fully in Jesus’ spiritual nature, and doing miracle deeds according to His will. Through Paul Jesus reveals the nature we should have.

(Philippians 2:3-11; Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself. Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well.

You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature.

He humbled Himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death; even on a cross! As a result God exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.)

There’s more evidence of Jesus’ deeds through Moses when preparing the deliverance of Israel from Egyptian bondage. Sharing that Satan too, is allowed to do miracles through his followers, but through Moses Jesus’ miracles were always superior. That being said, Jesus warns of demonic miracles in this latter age, but again He’ll prevail with miraculous deeds as, ‘The Lord God, Messiah, Deliverer, Savior, and king of kings.’

We have record of Israel’s forty year desert wondering; Jesus feeding them, giving water from a rock etc. The same Jesus miraculously opened His apostles’ minds to understand the scriptures, but worldly denominational theory is based on fleshly trained intellect. Many assume they’re apostles, attempt to make themselves equal with Jesus’ twelve, and trust their own intellect: all such is idolatry. People, not acknowledging our Creator God is all knowing, has ultimate plans, never changing from them, and knows the beginnings and ending, mostly trust themselves. With this understanding Jesus’ apostle Paul could write.

(Eph 1:3-10; Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ. For, He CHOSE us in Christ before the foundation of the world that we may be holy and unblemished in His sight in love. He did this when He predestined us to adoption as His Sons through Jesus Christ, according to the pleasure of His will – to the praise of the glory of His grace that He has freely bestowed on us in His dearly loved Son. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace that He lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.

He did this when He revealed to us the secret of His will, according to His good pleasure that He set forth in Christ, toward the administration of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ – the things in heaven and the things on earth. In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the ONE purpose of Him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His will so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of His glory. And when you heard the word of truth, (the gospel of your salvation) you believed in Christ; you were marked with the seal of the promised holy spirit, which is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.)

The Ephesians believers, and all who’re gifted according to His purpose, share Paul’s re-enforcements, and believe His revealed truth.

(Ephesians 1:11-23; In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of Him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of His will so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of His glory. And when you heard the word of truth, (the gospel of your salvation) you believed in Christ, you were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit, the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.)

What did these do to warrant their being predestined? Today’s believers too, are predestined so none can boast.

Jesus’ Good News: One God, one truth, one way, chapter 5

    T0: 31,961 subscribers: Church of God teaching. God’s 12th Mo. Adar 27, 5,781, 3/11/21

Jesus’ apostle Paul affirmed that he expected to be changed to spirit, ‘in the likeness of Jesus’ when resurrected, a ‘dismantling of the old.’ Knew his fleshly body was temporary, to be replaced with an eternal spiritual body.

(2Cor 5:1-3; For we know that if our earthly house, the tent we live in, is dismantled, we have a building from God, a house not built by human hands, that is eternal in the heavens. For in this earthly house we groan, because we desire to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed, after we have put on our heavenly house, we will not be found naked.)

In Paul’s first letter, ‘chapter 15’ he speaks of all begotten by the spirit people being changed to spirit as Jesus is now. From mortal to a spiritual tent of God’s choosing: ’immortality.’ Followers of Jesus are immersed in and clothed with Him spiritually.

(2Cor 5:4-5; For we groan while we are in this tent, since we are weighed down, because we do not want to be unclothed, but clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the One who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who GAVE us the Spirit as a down payment.)

We’re mortal until made immortal; God’s spirit is the down payment.

(2Cor 5:6-9; Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth we are absent from the Lord, for we live by faith, not by sight. Thus we are full of courage and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So then whether we are alive or away, we make it our ambition to please Him.)

Where does such ambition come from? From the ONE who prepares us, review verse 5.

(2Cor 5:10-11; For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil. Therefore, because we know the fear of the Lord, we try to persuade people, but we are well known to God, and I hope we are well known to your consciences too.) (We refers to apostles.)

Whether begotten of the Holy Spirit, ‘born again’ or an unbeliever, All are to appear before the Judgment seat of Christ. Each in the order of God’s choosing as revealed at 1Cor 15.

(1Cor 15:20-23; But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those, who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead, also came through a man. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits, then when Christ comes, those who BELONG to Him.)

What about those who aren’t called or refuse to believe in all Jesus’ deeds for salvation? The previous fleshly, or a resurrected life to come, all will face judgment. Jesus revealed this to John and John to Jesus’ followers.

(Revelations 21:6-7; He also said to me, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of life. The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My Son.)

(Rev 21:8) But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.)

King James translation uses ‘overcome’ rather than ‘conquer’, both meaning, ‘a replacing of the nature inherited from Adam’ with Jesus’ supernaturally gifted nature, ‘which is spiritually being born from above.

Who can make people thirsty for righteousness? WHO gives, ‘free of charge’, from the spring water of life? Only God through His gifted call, His opening a mind, to a believing in Jesus’ deeds faith. Pray to understand, as gifted to Paul, penetrate and make us righteous in God’s view.

(Rom 5:1-5; Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory. Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance, character, and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us.) (In our heart, means to our understanding.)

By the grace of God, no one can make one’s self, righteous in God’s view. Our Creator, ‘the Alpha and Omega-Jesus’, knew and does know the beginning and the ending. He knew each of us before the foundation of the world. MAY we digest this understanding as given through Paul, it isn’t theory.

Jesus said He is the ‘Son of God; the Light sent from above, and if we don’t believe IN the person of Him: believe because of His deeds.

(John 3:19-21; Now this is the basis for judging: that the Light has come into the world and people loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil deeds hates the Light and does not come to the Light, so that their deeds will not be exposed. But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that it may be plainly evident that his deeds have been done in God.)

Note; practicing truth is evidence of a person’s deeds being in God. When truth isn’t being practiced that’s evidence, ‘the Light is hated.’ Practicing His truth is to give up what may seem right to our fleshly inherited intellect from Adam’s nature, and realize God’s Way is higher than our way. Disobedience amounts to evil deeds in God’s View.

Consider that Adam and Eve’s disobedience was evil, and their guilty conscious caused them to hide rather than come to the Light when they heard the Lord walking the garden. (See Genesis 3:8) The Lord God Jesus, who is ‘the Vine’ was to be obeyed then as today, He explained to John, and all gifted to understand.

(John 15:1-4; I am the True Vine, and My Father is the gardener. He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in Me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. You are clean already because of the word that I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the Vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.)

Remaining in Jesus is to never desire independent understanding, as He never desired independence from God the Father. (See Phil 2:5-11)

(John 15:5-8; I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up. If you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you. My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are My disciples.)

When in Jesus and He in us, we don’t desire anything that isn’t within His will. Ultimately, all evil is to be burned up. Jesus explained that He submits to His Father, and can do nothing, except through Him, and likewise we as branches are nurtured by the Vine ‘tree trunk’, and can do nothing except through Him, ‘The Vine.’

We should look to Jesus when planning our deeds, initiatives and think, ‘according to His will’, especially in spiritual matters.

(John 5:19-23; So Jesus answered them, “I tell you the solemn truth, the Son can do nothing on His own initiative, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He does, and will show Him greater deeds than these, so that you will be amazed. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever He wishes. Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son, so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.”)

We can’t boast, He opens minds and gives understanding through His holy spirit.’ The holy spirit is God’s helper, and through it He gave understanding on that first Pentecost, after His ascension. His spirit is likened to the wind when received. Let’s review Jesus’ explanation. (John 3:7-8; “Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”)

The fourth annual Sabbath always looked forward to, and looks back to that first Pentecost, after Jesus’ ascension. It too was likened to the wind when it came to each recipient. With this knowledge we should conclude that Jesus is speaking of the holy spirit, and John was intending to write, ‘holy spirit’ rather than it’s characteristics, ‘an advocate’ ‘helper’ or ‘comforter.’ (Translators without agenda’s go to great length to explain why they chose ‘advocate’ rather than ‘comforter’ in the following text.) We’re to allow scripture, interpret scripture. John is speaking of the holy spirit as, ‘that one guiding to all truth’, he teaches through.

With this understanding, consider, (John 16:12-16; I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when the holy spirit comes, it will guide you into all truth. For the holy spirit will not speak on its own authority, but will speak whatever it hears, and will tell, you what is to come. The holy spirit will glorify Me, because it will receive from Me what is mine and will tell it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the spirit will receive from Me what is mine and will tell it to you. In a little while you will see Me no longer; again after a little while, you will see Me.)

People listening to Jesus back then, like today, want to live according to what seems right to their own fleshly intellect. In Jesus’ day, people made accusations that they were more righteous than He.

(John 8:39-42; They answered Him, ‘Abraham is our father!’ Jesus replied, ‘If you are Abraham’s children, you would be doing the deeds of Abraham.’ But now you are trying to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth I heard from God. Abraham did not do this! You people are doing the deeds of your father. Then they said to Jesus, ‘We were not born as a result of immorality! We have only one Father, God Himself.’ Jesus replied, ‘If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I have come from God and am now here. I have not come on My own initiative, but He sent Me. Why don’t you understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot accept My teaching. You people are from your father the devil, and you want to do what your father desires.)

Jesus’ Good News: One God, one truth, one way. chapter 4

Monday, March 8th, 2021

   T0: 31,926 subscribers: Church of God teaching. God’s 12th Mo. Adar 14, 5,781, 3/8/21

The Creator, Sustainer is of all we ‘can see and can’t see’ He’s the God of Noah, Abraham, prophets of Israel and Jesus’ apostles. He’s the Son of God, ‘Jesus’ who’s manifested at Colossians 1:15-20, John 1:1-5 and Hebrews 1. He’s in control, has unalterable plans for planet Earth and His chosen people.

Satan is allowed to be god of this age for God’s ultimate purpose, ‘which is to save a called out people, overcome Satan, and the fleshly inherited from Adam nature.’ That can only be accomplished by His revealing Himself, His Son Jesus and calling to repentance. Jesus’ follower, ‘Nicodemus’ had questions about His saying, ‘people must be born again.’

(John 3:5-8; Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”)

When Jesus is revealed as described in the above three scriptures, ‘grants a desire and the effort’ its God the Father’s doing.)

Believers are called to believe in ‘The Son of God, Jesus’, who came to reveal God the Father and call out a people to be His own.

Jesus’ apostle Paul explained. (Phil 2:12-13; So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence,  for the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort; for the sake of his good pleasure, is God.)

Paul explained the advantage of being an Israelite, having Moses’ writings, knowing Israel’s history, and being a chosen by promise people, made them likened to, ‘the olive branch.’

(Romans 3:1-4; ““Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: “so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.””) (Quote from Psalms 51:4. Satan has many Jews and others thinking themselves believers. Oracles include God’s law, precepts, attributes and His calendar.)

As prophesied through Moses, ‘Israel’s promises through Abraham are perpetual’, but because of their disobedience they are dispersed to gentile nations. To discern the whole we need Paul’s understanding as written in Romans chapter 11.

The Remnant of Israel

(Rom 11:1-5; God has not rejected His people, has He? Absolutely not! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew! Do you not know what the scripture says about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars; I alone am left and they are seeking my life!” But what was the divine response to him? “I have kept for Myself seven thousand people who have not bent the knee to Baal.” So in the same way at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.) (Many believers are made to feel like Elajah in each age, but we need to remember what he was told.)

(Rom 11:6-10; And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace. What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was diligently seeking, but the Elect obtained it. The rest were hardened, as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, to this very day.” And David says, “Let their table become a snare and trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them; let their eyes be darkened so that they may not see, and make their backs bend continually.”

Gentiles Grafted In

(Rom 11:11-15; I ask then, they did not stumble into an irrevocable fall, did they? Absolutely not! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel jealous. Now if their transgression means riches for the world and their defeat means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full restoration bring? Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Seeing that I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if somehow I could provoke my people to jealousy and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?) (Because of promise, Israel is forever holy to God.)

(Rom 11:16-18; If the first portion of the dough offered is holy, then the whole batch is holy, and if the root is holy, so too are the branches. Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them and participated in the richness of the olive root, do not boast over the branches. But if you boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.)

(Rom 11:19-22; Then you will say, “The branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted! They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but fear! For if God did not spare the natural branches, perhaps he will not spare you. Notice therefore the kindness and harshness of God — harshness toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness toward you, provided you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.)

(Rom 11:23-24; And even they if they do not continue in their unbelief — will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree?)

The Mystery of Israel’s Salvation.

(Rom 11:25-27; For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins.”)

(Rom 11:28-31; In regard to the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but in regard to Election they are dearly loved for the sake of the fathers. For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Just as you were formerly disobedient to God, but have now received mercy due to their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy.)

Rom 11:32  For God has consigned all people to disobedience so that he may show mercy to them all.)

(Rom 11:33-36; Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how fathomless His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? Or who has first given to God, that God needs to repay Him? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever! Amen.) (Compare that last sentence to Col 1:15-20, and visit Isaiah 22:, 35: , 51: -53:, 65:. Jeremiah 31: and Amos 9:11-15 regarding Israel’s future deliverances.

Holy Scriptural definition an unbeliever as, ‘one whom Jesus hasn’t revealed Himself to, opened the mind of, and granted repentance to.’ Revelations and spiritual understanding can’t be obtained through one’s own intellect, ‘theory.’ When individuals try they make gods to themselves. Paul explains.

(2Tim 2:14; ‘Remind people of these things, and solemnly charge them before the Lord, not to wrangle over words.’ This is of no benefit; it just brings ruin on those who listen.)

(Naïve listeners are harmed by listening to and reading falsehoods. Pray the many will listen when they’re resurrected.)

(2Tim 2:15-19; Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately. But avoid profane chatter, because those occupied with it will stray further and further into ungodliness, and their message will spread its infection like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are in this group. They have strayed from the truth by saying that the resurrection has already occurred, and they are undermining some people’s faith. However, God’s solid foundation remains standing, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from evil.)

So is teaching personal theory evil? Yes. Many claim to have a Pauline theology, supposing Paul a rebel, teaching that he changed the seventh day Sabbath, to the first day, and omitting his teaching about immortality being a gift.
