New Covenant Christians Believe in what David, the prophets, and apostles said about Jesus Christ, and God the Father’s selecting, calling, gifting a spiritual desire to be obedient, one in mind, spirit, and with one another. Believing followers of Jesus are predestined, and God the Father makes each a temple of His spirit.

God’s set aside annual Sabbaths, three seasons foreshadowing saving a chosen people. Jesus’ apostle Paul was gifted to explain to the Corinthians and all believers.

(1Corinthians 15:50-55; Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters; flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we, will be changed. For this perishable body, must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, (Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?(Quote from Hosea 13:14)

First holy season; Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread, represents, ‘one believing in Jesus, putting away, or ‘repenting of’ previous erroneous ways, ’thinking’, and putting on Jesus’ view way, trusting in His deeds, and accomplishments for the remission of, ‘the taking away of’ sins.

Second holy season; Pentecost, ‘Feast of Fruits’, represents God’s giving His spirit, making one as, ‘born again’, ‘born from above’, or ‘fathered.’ Jesus was keeping the third season, last day particularly when He stood and shouted, (John 3:7-7; Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.)

Third holy season; is four of seven annual Sabbaths in God’s seventh month. They are Trumpets, representing the first resurrection. Atonement; representing, literally being ONE in spirit with God. Feast of Tabernacles, ‘Festival of Booths’ with two annual Sabbaths, 15th and 21st of God’s seventh month, and seven of seventh annual Sabbaths; ‘Last Great day’ the 22nd day of God’s seventh month.     These represent God’s plans through New Jerusalem’s coming down, and final judgment, covenant promises to, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus’ apostles, understanding the important of remember the meaning, and God’s purpose for changing Jacob’s name to ‘Israel’,  meaning, ‘God fights” or ‘fights for,’ and Isaac being Abraham’s son by promise.

Jacob was God’s chosen son of Isaac, one who’d inherit God’s perpetual spiritual promises. God’s New Jerusalem kingdom gates are named for Jacob’s 12 sons, and its twelve foundations for Jesus’ twelve apostles. All these revolve around God’s promises, and pre-planning for His chosen.

God gave us parallels through Moses, ‘the Lord God Jesus’ delivery of Israel from Egyptian bondage by promise’, ‘Egypt represented deliverance from sin’s result, through believing in Jesus. The Christian heritage is promised, through Abraham as was Israel’s deliverance. The Lord God Jesus made the nation Israel, and spiritual Israelites His own by promise, and gave each commands for their good. Covenants are by promise, including the ten commandments, attributes, and oracles of God. (Oracles include God’s calendar, Sabbaths reminding of God’s resting, His creation, keeping focus on His deliverance, and our physical bodies being temporary dwellings. Oracles of God include how to rear children, caring for the land by crop rotation, and being careful not to make images of any kind.

Like Christians, Israel promised obedience as a wife, and the Lord God Jesus promised to be as their husband. Though disobedient, and scattered throughout the pagan world; the Lord God Jesus’ promises to Abraham’s heirs are perpetual.

He’ll deliver again, and Israel will yet inherit the lands promised Abraham. For starters review a few prophesies: (Isaiah 22:, 35:, 51:, 65:, Jeremiah 31 and Hosea.)

As was the Lord God Jesus’ Old Covenant promised, His New Covenant with Christians are promised. Both are a set aside people for His purpose. Physical circumcision and oracles separated Israelites from the world at large, so too are circumcision of heart Christians set aside, and gifted with the same oracles of God.

None of this world’s uncalled populations understand, nor were physical Israelites given to understand the mystery of God living in His chosen. Before that Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension, His chosen were not gifted to understand the mystery of Godly love dwelling in people, love that comes from, ‘being born from above’, as taught at 1Cor 13: that believers in Jesus have  today.

Gifted mature love is, by promised grace, as believing in faith. It’s the mystery hidden from the world purposely. God’s New Covenant is by faith, to a selected, chosen spiritual people. We know it as Godly love un-parallel.

(1Corinthians 13:8-13; Godly Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside. For, we know in part, and we prophesy in part, but when what is perfect comes, the partial will be set aside. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. But when I became an adult, I set aside childish ways. For, now we see in a mirror indirectly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I have been fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.)

God’s gifted Holy Spirit includes the desire to be ‘one with Him.’ Jesus had Paul explain. (Phil 2:13; For the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of His good pleasure – is God.)

At Hebrews 10: Jesus’ apostle continues the same theme. (Because He loved us, He allowed Himself to become our sacrificial Lamb, and shed His blood for the remission of sin.)

It was always pre-planned, ‘the Old Covenant with its laws, be shadows of the new in this latter ages. So too was calling Moses and making him Israel’s deliverer from Egypt’s bondage, looking to what Jesus would do through His death, ‘saving sinners from the bondage of sin’, calling chosen heirs making them His own, as in being ‘born from above people’, giving understanding that, ‘His laws are for our good.’ Including the Sabbath that’s, ‘made for people, not people made for the Sabbath.’

God’s summation. (Hebrews 10:1-18; For the law possesses a shadow of the good things to come but not the reality itself, and is therefore completely unable, by the same sacrifices offered continually, year after year, to perfect those who come to worship. For otherwise would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers would have been purified once for all and so have no further consciousness of sin? But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year. For the blood of bulls and goats cannot take away sins.

So when He, came into the world, He said, (Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me.) (Whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings you took no delight in.

Then I said, ‘Here I am: I have come, it is written of Me in the scroll of the book, to do Your will, O God.’ When He says above, Sacrifices, and offerings, and whole burnt offerings and sin-offerings You did not desire nor did You take delight in them, (which are offered according to the law,) then He says, ‘Here I am: I have come to do your will.’ He does away with the first to establish the second. By His will we have been MADE holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all, and every priest stands day after day serving and offering the same sacrifices again and again – sacrifices that can never take away sins.

But when this Priest had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, He sat down at the right hand of God, where He is now waiting until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are made holy. And the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us, for after saying, “This is the covenant that I will establish with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws on their hearts and I will inscribe them on their minds,” then He says, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no longer.” Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.)

Christians should be aware, ‘we cannot cause others to study God’s Word sincerely with intent of seeing things from His view, and gladly accept His corrections.’ Nor can we give others a desire to have an intimate relationship with their Creator.

Heavenly Father: thank You for revealing that we’re in the last days. We ask that many be called, and led to repent, for having lived the way that seemed okay to the fleshly mind. Give each a persevering will to worship, separate themselves from this world’s system of things, and turn to Your designated practices. We pray in and by the authority of Jesus. AMEN.
