One God, One Truth, chapter 20

   T0: 33,810 subscribers to ‘Original Church of God teaching.’ God’s 7th Mo. Elul 23, 5,781, 8/31/21.

Today at sunset ends this year’s annual Festivals, culminating with this “Last Great Day.’ Festivals and Sabbaths that if kept would keep a nation focused on Godly values. Because I love our nation I get out of sorts with politicians, educators, the media, clergy and governmental rulings that are destructive, abominations to our Creator and play into Satan’s desires. Even though I know our (we Christian’s) kingdom is not of this world, its disturbing to see family and friends being carried down this crooked path. Thank God Jesus is coming soon, and He has revealed parts of His agenda that all will eventually know. Jesus inspired His prophet Isaiah’s 66th chapter telling of His awesomeness in bringing things into being. The following at Isaiah 66: is worth repeating.

(Isaiah 66:5-9; Hear the word of the LORD, you who respect what He has to say! Your countrymen, who hate you and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of My name, say, “May the LORD be glorified, then we will witness your joy.” But they will be put to shame.

The sound of battle comes from the city; the sound comes from the temple! It is the sound of the LORD paying back His enemies. Rejoice with Jerusalem.

Before she goes into labor, she gives birth! Before her contractions begin, she delivers a boy! Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen this? Can a country be brought forth in one day? Can a nation be born in a single moment? Yet as soon as Zion goes into labor she gives birth to sons! “Do I bring a baby to the birth opening and then not deliver it?” asks the LORD. “Or do I bring a baby to the point of delivery and then hold it back?” asks your God.

Be happy for Jerusalem and rejoice with her, all you who love her! Share in her great joy, all you who have mourned over her! For you will nurse from her satisfying breasts and be nourished; you will feed with joy from her milk-filled breasts.

For this is what the LORD says: “Look, I am ready to extend to her prosperity that will flow like a river, the riches of nations will flow into her like a stream that floods its banks. You will nurse from her breast and be carried at her side; you will play on her knees. As a mother consoles a child, so I will console you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”

When you see this, you will be happy, and you will be revived. The LORD will reveal His power to His servants and His anger to his enemies.

Satan’s successes.

One of Satan’s primary successes was to alter God’s gifted to Israel calendar by unscrupulous men using Jesus’ name to build an organizational mix of pagan and Judaism practices. Gentile group calendars had long before been designed to honor for sun, planets, imaginary idols and for their god worship. Sun worshiping groups designed their calendars around the winter equinox; supposing their worship would cause the sun‘s return and days be lengthened again. To attract pagan cultures to their religion hijackers of God’s truth adapted a similar calendar.

God set His people apart purposely, telling Moses and Israel, “Passover was to be on the 14th day of their first month.” (Satan influenced, knowing when people don’t remember God’s set aside Sabbaths and their significance, His truths would soon be camouflaged.) He wanted the whole world to forget about Jesus saving Israel’s firstborn’s from the plague instituted on Egypt’s firstborns, by having them put a lamb or goat’s blood on their door facings so the Lord God would pass over them when the death angel would Passover Israelite dwellings. This miracle looked forward to the Lamb of God shedding His life blood for the remission of the world’s sins.

Thus the Lord God, our Creator, Re-Creator, Sutainer, Deliverer, Mediator and coming King of Kings gave His life blood for the remission of sins. (Pre-planned that He’s be miraculously born of a virgin, exemplifying God the Father in all His ways. It was by choice that the Lamb of God, ‘Jesus’ shed His innocent blood so the world’s sins could be remitted.

Satan knew by people not remembering the Passover and other God ordained Sabbath’s, ‘weekly and annual’, the world would loose knowledge of God’s saving plan. Knowledge that Eternal Life, is only possible through Creator and Sutainer Jesus, shedding His life blood.

Satan inspired the apostate hijackers of God’s way to develop a substitute calendar that is still causing the many to set aside pagan times and traditions, rather than God ordained ones. Thus, God’s commandments and oracles are purposely camouflaged. Knowledge of eternal life being through believing IN Jesus and clothing themselves in Him is camouflaged when abominable pagan practices are prioritized. So, professing Christians are going down the same path Israel traveled, ‘causing God to scatter them among the pagan nations.’

When we examine the histories of people, clans and nations, it’s evident that when left to go the way that seems right, division, war and chaos is the result. So too it is individually. We’re made in the image and likeness of our Creator for the ultimate purpose of being made in His image spiritually. (That is; to inherit eternal life through believing IN Jesus’ shed blood for sin’s remittance isn’t proclaimed as it should be. History it’s self is the proof.

Without our Creator’s personal intervention, individuals, clans and nations go the way of divisionary choices, because, it’s natural when people don’t acknowledge our Creator’s planning foreshadowed in His calendar.’

All the people on earth had rejected God’s Way and were going the way that seemed right to their inherited fleshly intellect, before God called Moses to lead Israel, by promise to Abraham. Later when Israel was in rebellion, God gave Jeremiah the mission of evaluating His people. Does his evaluation describe you?

(Jeremiah 6:27-30; The Lord said to me, “I have made you like a metal assayer to test My people like ore. You are to observe them and evaluate how they behave.” I reported, “All of them are the most stubborn of rebels. They are as hard as bronze or iron. They go about telling lies. They all deal corruptly. The fiery bellows of judgment burn fiercely. But there is too much dross to be removed. The process of refining them has proved useless. The wicked have not been purged. They are regarded as ‘rejected silver’ because the Lord rejects them.”)

This describes each individual before God’s personal intervention to call, open minds, give understand to our inherited nature’s pulls, and its result. Jeremiah gives the foundational psychology. Until God personally intervenes, the fleshly inherited from Adam characteristics lead us to live a rebellious toward God life.

When our Creator isn’t personally revealing Himself and leading; individuals, clans and nation, live as if there were no Lawgiver teaching right, wrong, good and evil. Without revelation all people live ‘as in hiding from the reality of judgment.’ The proof is obvious when seeing this world’s condition from God’s prophetic Word. Jesus inspired the same spiritual rationale through Isaiah.

(Isaiah 29:15-16; Those who try to hide their plans from the Lord are as good as dead, ‘who do their work in secret and boast’ saying who sees us? Who knows what we’re doing? Your thinking is perverse! Should the Potter (Creator) be regarded as clay? The created. Should the thing made say about its maker, ‘He didn’t make me?’ Or should the pottery, say about the Potter, He doesn’t understand?)

It’s the outlook, the psychology of mankind, in this demonically led age! The whole world has turned to the god of this age. Fleshly people only understand things of the flesh, looking to fleshly leaders, politicians and teachers.

(Proverbs 29:26-27; Many people seek the face of a ruler, but it is from the Lord that one receives justice. An unjust person is an abomination to the righteous, and the one who lives an upright life is an abomination to the wicked.)

Because of our inherited nature and Satan’s deceptions, people aren’t inclined to naturally prove God, rather they naturally make Him out to be, likened to their personal imagination. It’s no different than people carving wooden images to worship. Jesus had His apostle Paul explain.

(Romans 8:5-17; For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You (followers of Jesus) however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to Him. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of (Jesus‘) righteousness. Moreover if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the One who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through His Spirit who lives in you.

So then, brothers and sisters, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh (for if you live according to the flesh, you will die) but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.

The Spirit its self bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children. And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with Him so we may also be glorified with Him.”)

Unbelievers are likely about 99.9% of this world’s population and Solomon understood the key reason. (When people aren’t punished soon after committing wrong, they assume God is looking the other way.)

(Eccl 8:11-14; When a sentence is not executed at once against a crime, the human heart is encouraged to do evil. Even though a sinner might commit a hundred crimes and still live a long time, yet I know that it will go well with God-fearing people: for they stand in fear before Him. But it will not go well with the wicked, nor will they prolong their days like a shadow, because they do not stand in fear before God. Here is another enigma that occurs on earth: Sometimes there are righteous people who get what the wicked deserve, and sometimes there are wicked people who get what the righteous deserve. I said, “This also is an enigma.)

When our Creator isn’t personally intervening, and people allowed to go the way that seems right to their fleshly inherited nature; this is the result.

One God, One Truth, chapter 19

T0: 33,743 subscribers to ‘Original Church of God teaching.’ God’s 7th Mo, Elul 22, 5,781, 8/30/21.

Today at sunset begins the seventh of seven annual Sabbaths, ‘Last Great Day’, it was on this Greatest Day that Jesus shouted out; (“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and let the one who believes in Me drink. Just as the scripture says, ‘From within him will flow rivers of living water.’ (Now He said this about the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were going to receive, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” See John 7:37-39) Study this whole seventh chapter, Jesus had sent His apostle’s ahead and at mid Feast He came up and began to teach at the temple.

The same spirit in The Lord God Creator, ‘The Son of God and God the Father ‘conceived Jesus in His mother Mary’s womb’, and would be gifted to a chosen people on the next Pentecost, (The third of seven annual Sabbath) which would  also become the birth date of God’s New Covenant Church; after Jesus’ ascension and glorification.

Jesus had revealed much more through Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Moses and others about Israel’s future. See Jesus’ revelations through Matthew and Isaiah regarding spiritual Israelites future.

(Matt 10:40-43; Whoever receives you (Believers) receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me. Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. Whoever receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, I tell you the truth, he will never lose his reward.)

Jesus is saying; “it isn’t likely that many will receive us!.” Jesus’ terminology is stronger than, ‘had He said’, “if one receives the personage of Me.” He is speaking in terms of defending His truth, thus, (whoever gives only a cup of cold water to one of these little ones) ‘these believing ones.’ Speaking of His awesomeness, the same Jesus inspired Isaiah to write.

(Isaiah 64:4-6; Since ancient times no one has heard or perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who intervenes for those who wait for Him. You assist those who delight in doing what is right, who observe Your commandments. Look, You were angry because we violated them continually. How then can we be saved? We are all like one who is un-clean, all our so-called righteous acts are like a menstrual rag in your sight.)

People who’re prone to be religious are easily deceived by Satan, rather than wait on revelation, study and seek truth, they’re prone to seek a denomination of choice, a movement or cult that meets their fleshly expectations. The many buy into the worldly accepted theory, ‘practices doesn’t matter, we’re all trying to get to the same place.’ Not realizing ‘so called righteous acts always have agendas.’ Religious groups help their own, ‘that’s good, except they do so with the agenda of knowing, publishing righteous acts are good publicity.’ Righteous acts with agenda’s make merchandise of the naïve as does big government. Primarily worldly religions’ messages are, “live a moral life according to our sociality doctrine and be saved.” So they evolve, reflecting the populations’ outlook and life styles acceptable to current society outlooks that fit most worldly denominations. If such outlooks were acceptable to Jesus, He wouldn’t have given the following parables.

(Luke 14:26; If anyone comes to Me and does not hate (love less by comparison) his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.) (This figurative use of (hate) operates on a relative scale, God is to be loved more than family or self.) This requires our knowing God as He manifest Himself to be in the holy scriptures, NOT as the world manifest Him to be! (Likewise with ‘whoever does not carry his own cross’, speaks figuratively in the context of rejection. If priorities are not allegiance to Jesus, people aren’t followers of Him and face possible rejection.

Luke 9:23-33; Whosoever does not carry his own cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, wanting to build a tower, don’t sit down first and compute the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish the tower, all who see it will begin to make fun of him. They will say, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish!’ Or what king, going out to confront another king in battle, will not sit down first and determine whether he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? If he cannot succeed, he will send a representative while the other is still a long way off and ask for terms of peace. In the same way therefore not one of you can be My disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.)

Renounce all that’s dear; if it hinders practicing Jesus’ Way. Jesus ALONE is the head of His church and He knows each better than we know ourselves. Satan and his deceived followers do not want us to believe Jesus’ apostle Paul’s explanation regarding Satan blinding people’s understanding.

(2Corinthians 4:3-6; But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing, among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God. For we (apostles) do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.)

We should see that God the Father gives understanding and knowledge of Himself through Jesus. (Through Jesus’ sacrificing Himself, our believing and practicing His Way; we’re gifted with a nature change. (We’re born from above.)

Jesus also gave a parable about a landowner who hired people at various hours of the day and when the landowner gave the same pay to the last hired as to the first; the ones hired first complained.

(The landowner replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am not treating you unfairly. Didn’t you agree with me to work for the standard wage? Take what is yours and go. I want to give to this last man the same as I gave to you. Am I not permitted to do what I want with what belongs to me? Or, are you envious because I am generous?’ So the last will be first, and the first last. See Matt 20:13-16)

Called to believe in Jesus people don’t attempt to make Him fit their fleshly thinking. They aren’t prone to think how our Creator should react in various situations. It isn’t that people’s thinking is upside down, but they don’t know God as He’s manifested to be. He manifest Himself as Landowner, Creator, Revealer and righteous Judge of all.

The Lord God Jesus told the first created person, “If you disobey you will surely die.” Adam disobeyed and God called that disobedience, “sin.” Each person has inherited Adam’s sin nature, ‘the same kind of hostility Adam reacted to. All people are born heirs of Adam, ‘sinners at birth, and born to die ONCE.’ (God teaches throughout His Word that the result of sin is death.) All have sinned, thus, all deserve eternal death. (See 1 John 3:4) We don’t deserve eternal life, and we cannot earn eternal life, eternal life can only be gifted through God the Son, “Jesus.” He teaches, (we each must be reborn; born from above) simply meaning, “people must be gifted with a nature change.” (A new birth, that’s only gifted through God’s calling, revealing Jesus and giving understanding.)

The holy scriptures teach; God calls, reveals our sin nature and chooses to reveal Himself to whom He will.

Worldly religion teaches; it’s your choice, whether to be “born from above or not.” The holy scripture teaches ‘God calls, opens minds and grants repentance.’ A worldly-fleshly turning isn’t all bad, ‘breaking bad habits and attempting to live a more moral life has its blessings.’ (But God gifted repentance, is through His revealing His Way and giving a desire to know Him intimately.) Called out people seek gifted understanding, desiring to grow and overcome to the end, is pleasing to God. (Review Isaiah 64:4-6)

We can only live His Way through His power, to the end through God’s spirit in us.

(2Corinthians 4:7-18; But we (Believers) have this treasure in clay jars, so that the extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us. We are experiencing trouble on every side, but are not crushed; we are perplexed, but not driven to despair; we are persecuted, but not abandoned; we are knocked down, but not destroyed, always carrying around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our body. For we who are alive are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our mortal body.

As a result, death is at work in us, (we apostles) but life is at work in you. But since we have the same spirit of faith as that shown in what has been written, “I believed; therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak. We do so because we know that the One who raised up Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus and will bring us with you into His presence. For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.

Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison because we are NOT looking at what can be seen but AT what cannot be seen. For, what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.)

Likely 99% of those we know, do not believe IN our Creator as He manifest Himself to be in His holy Word. Don’t believe God sustains the sun, controls weather patterns etc, He’s going to return and bring peace to this demonically deceived world. (So do we have the wit to ask God for the gift of understanding?) Populations at large depend on their own wit, their fleshly way of thinking, their intellect, which is idolatry. It’s the sin nature inherited from Adam. Allow Jesus’ conclusion, presented through His apostle Paul.

(1Cor 15:20-26; But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, (Adam) the resurrection of the dead also came through a man (Jesus.) For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to Him. Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death.)

One God, One Truth, chapter 18

To: 33,771 subscribers to, ‘)riginal Church of God Teaching, God’s 7th Mo. Euel 28, 5,781, 8/28/21.

Last evening at sunset began the weekly Sabbath, it’s the week ‘Festival of Booths’ (Tabernacles) a time set aside foreshadowing Jesus’ bringing peace, world order and judgment. God had physical Israelites move out from their regular homes and live in temporary booths to demonstrate that their physical bodies was not permanent; ‘they were to look forward to a new resurrected life.’ A resurrection to a new spiritual life was always a major part of God’s promises. All other ideas of immortality began with Satan’s major lie to Eve, and built on by hostile to God people who desired to make a god fit their notions. Days of the week are named after some of these manufactured gods. (Most good dictionaries define names of these when you look up each day.)

All worldly religions manufacture gods to fit their imagination, not realizing that God has preplanned all things, that one day all nations and people groups will be ashamed for not considering His awesome truths. Jesus has much to say through His revelations to Isaiah regarding mankind’s disgusting ideas.

(Isaiah 66:1-3; This is what the Lord says: “The heavens are My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is the house you will build for Me? Where is the place where I will rest? My hand made them; that is how they came to be,” says the Lord. I show special favor to the humble and contrite, who respect what I have to say. The one who slaughters a bull also strikes down a man; the one who sacrifices a lamb also breaks a dog’s neck; the one who presents an offering includes pig’s blood with it; the one who offers incense also praises an idol. They have decided to behave this way; they enjoy these disgusting practices.)

No need to consider more about practices that are disgusting to our Creator. God’s chosen respects what He has to say.

(Isa 66:4; So I will choose severe punishment for them; “who do not respect what I have to say.” I will bring on them what they dread, because I called, and no one responded, I spoke and they did not listen. They did evil before Me; they chose to do what displeases Me.”

It isn’t rocket science,  boiling down to whether people are “Believers in” or “believe that.”

(Isa 66:24; Hear the word of the Lord, you who respect what He has to say! Your countrymen, who hate you and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of My name, say, “May the Lord be glorified, then we will witness your joy.” (But they will be put to shame.)

(Believers in God experience this attitude, thought of as being strange for not going along to get along.)

‘The sound of battle comes from the city; the sound comes from the temple! It is the sound of the Lord paying back His enemies.’)

Verses 7-8 is prophecy about how God accomplishes. (Before she goes into labor, she gives birth! Before her contractions begin, she delivers a boy! Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen this? Can a country be brought forth in one day? Can a nation be born in a single moment? Yet as soon as Zion goes into labor she gives birth to sons!)

(God is awesome, creating instantaneously; choosing Israel for His own. and making ‘Believers in’ His children.)

(Isa 66:9-11; Do I bring a baby to the birth opening and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord. “Or do I bring a baby to the point of delivery and then hold it back?” asks your God.” “Be happy for Jerusalem and rejoice with her, all you who love her! Share in her great joy, all you who have mourned over her. For, you will nurse from her satisfying breasts and be nourished; you will feed with joy from her milk-filled breasts.) (Believing in Christians will be teaching the nations.

(Isa 66:12-16; For this is what the Lord says: “Look, I am ready to extend to her prosperity that will flow like a river, the riches of nations will flow into her like a stream that floods its banks. You will nurse from her breast and be carried at her side; you will play on her knees. As a mother consoles a child, so I will console you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.)

Jesus and His Saints will rule from Jerusalem! Revival? Indeed.

“When you see this, you will be happy, and you will be revived. The Lord will reveal His power to His servants and His anger to His enemies. For look, the Lord comes with fire, His chariots come like a windstorm, to reveal His raging anger, His battle cry, and His flaming arrows. For. the Lord judges all humanity with fire and His sword; the Lord will kill many.)

A second death will be the fate of the un-repentant.

It’s worth repeating. (Isa 66:17-24; As for those who consecrate and ritually purify themselves so they can follow their leader and worship in the sacred orchards, those who eat the flesh of pigs and other disgusting creatures, like mice – they will all be destroyed together,” says the Lord. “I hate their deeds and thoughts! So I am coming to gather all the nations and ethnic groups; they will come and witness My splendor. I will perform a mighty act among them and then send some of those who remain to the nations – to Tarshish, Pul, Lud (known for its archers), Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands that have not heard about Me or seen My splendor. They will tell the nations of My splendor. They will bring back all your countrymen from all the nations as an offering to the Lord. They will bring them on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels to My holy hill Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “just as the Israelites bring offerings to the Lord’s temple in ritually pure containers.)

God’s good news will then go to all the world.

And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites, says the Lord. “For just as the new heavens and the new earth I am about to make will remain standing before Me,” says the Lord, “so your descendants and your name will remain. From one month to the next and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to worship Me,” says the Lord. “They will go out and observe the corpses of those who rebelled against Me, for the maggots that eat them will not die, and the fire that consumes them will not die out. All people will find the sight abhorrent.)

Remember Jesus is addressing Zion, Israel, Jerusalem and those who have respect for what He says through Isaiah! Jesus’ apostle Paul reveals the unfolding.

(1Thess 4:13-18; Now, we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep as Christians. For we tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will surely not go ahead of those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.)

Demonic led leaders will be declaring a time of peace before Jesus’ return and will deceive the majority.

(1Thess 5:1-11; Now on the topic of times and seasons, brothers and sisters, you have no need for anything to be written to you. For you know quite well that the day of the Lord will come in the same way as a thief in the night. Now when they are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction comes on them, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will surely NOT escape.

But you, brothers and sisters, are not in the darkness for the day to overtake you like a thief would. For you all are sons of the light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of the darkness. So then we must not sleep as the rest, but must stay alert and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But since we are of the day, we must stay sober by putting on the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet our hope for salvation. For God did not destine us for wrath but for gaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that whether we are alert or asleep we will come to life together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, just as you are in fact doing.)

It’s all preplanned; may we be yielded to His plan and Way.

One God, One Truth, chapter 17

   T0: 33,743 subscribers to ‘Original Church of God teaching.’ God’s 7th Mo, Elul 19, 5,781, 8/27/21.

Young king Josiah was gifted with the desire to please the God of Israel. Jesus revealed to His apostle Paul and us, “from where a God gifted desire comes from.” (Philippians 2:12-13; Continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, for the One bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of His good pleasure – is God.) This is one of many scriptural examples that teaches, ‘desiring to be at one with God is gifted.’ It isn’t religious fluff, it’s a calling gifted by grace, a Godly gifted desire that can’t be conjured up nor in a school of theology. Paul wrote as much to Timothy, he like Josiah was gifted with a spiritual desire to be at one with God.

(2Timothy 2:1-13; So you, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And entrust what you heard me say in the presence of many others as witnesses to faithful people who will be competent to teach others as well. Take your share of suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one in military service gets entangled in matters of everyday life; otherwise he will not please the One who recruited him. Also, if anyone competes as an athlete, he will not be crowned as the winner unless he competes according to the rules. The farmer who works hard ought to have the first share of the crops.

Think about what I am saying and the Lord will give you understanding of all this. Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David; such is my gospel, for which I suffer hardship to the point of imprisonment as a criminal, but God’s message is not imprisoned! So I endure all things for the sake of those chosen by God, that they too may obtain salvation in Christ Jesus and its eternal glory.” This saying is trustworthy: ‘If we died with Him, we will also live with Him. If we endure, we will also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will also deny us. If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, since He cannot deny Himself.’)

Josiah’s historical record is for our learning. (Rom 15:4-6; For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope. Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.)

Jesus’ promises are sure. His kingdom will be established in spite of people, and no organization of people will bring God’s rule on earth. THE QUESTION? Do we recognize His calling? Are we called and recruited to serve Jesus? Are we inclined to meditate and pray about it?

By today’s standards Josiah would have been about a fifth grader when he became king of Judah. It was after Samuel’s time, bad kings had led the people to paganism to the degree that God was planning Judea’s disbursement. Such may be the case in our current age. (See 2Kings 23:4-20)

Scrolls were found that didn’t belong in the Lord’s temple, pagan items that caused Josiah to rip his clothing in disgust, so he ordered high-ranking priests to bring them out of the Lord’s temple. Items used in the worship of Baal, Asherah, and all the stars of the sky. Josiah burned them outside Jerusalem in the terraces of Kidron, and carried the ashes to Bethel. (Consider this preserved, 2Kings account and compare it to religious observances in today’s houses of worship.)

Heavenly Father and our Creator Lord Jesus: give us to know Your awesomeness and confident faith in Your Word. We ask in Your holy name; AMEN.

The awesomeness of our Creator is beyond the imagination of this worlds populations. Jesus’ statement; that He is the Alpha and Omega is not comprehended by worldly religious. He chooses whom He will hold back understanding to for their good, and to whom He will give understanding for His purpose.

Accordingly: Esau knew about his father Jacob’s God, but God chose and revealed Himself to Esau’s brother Jacob. In similar fashion; Jesus’ apostles believed Jesus because of seeing His miracles, but didn’t understand the holy scriptures until after He was resurrected and gifted to do so.

(Luke 24:44-49; Then Jesus said to them, “These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about Me in the law of Moses and the prophets and the psalms must be fulfilled. Then Jesus opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, and said to them, “Thus it stands written that the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You, (apostles) are witnesses of these things. And look, I am sending you what My Father promised. But stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”)

The twelve and many disciples believed Jesus was the Christ that was prophesied to come, because of His miracles, but couldn’t understand the scriptures and have power to live them until the Holy Spirit was given on that Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension. Likewise today; (many believe Jesus died for their sins, but they don‘t believe in His total message because it isn’t gifted yet.

Understanding the scriptures and have a desire to live them must be gifted.

Jesus’ birth, His coming and living in the flesh, was planned long before He had Moses tell the Israelites to put blood on their door facings to protect them from the death angel. Jesus’ life blood sacrifice, resurrection, ascension and His second coming was pre-planned before the foundation of the world.

Jesus had Jacob go to Bethel and build an altar, led him to have his family rid themselves of statute idols gathered for worship and purify themselves for the occasion.

(Gen 35:6-8; Jacob and all those who were with him arrived at Luz (that is, Bethel) in the land of Canaan. He built an altar there and named the place El Bethel because there God had revealed Himself to him when he was fleeing from his brother, Esau.)

God made the Israelites His chosen children by promise to Abraham. God has and is making spiritual Israelites (believing Christians) His children by the same promise today. This was revealed to Paul and us.

(Gal 3:29; And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to the promise.) Through His prophet Isaiah; the Lord God promises not to forget His chosen. (God’s promises are definite; so sure that they are often written as if already occurred.) Each called person’s name has been inscribed.

Consider God’s metaphor comparison. (Isaiah 49:14-25; Zion, people of Zion” said, ‘The Lord has abandoned me, the sovereign Master has forgotten me.’ Can a woman forget her baby who nurses at her breast? Can she withhold compassion from the child she has borne? Even if mothers were to forget, I (your Father) could never forget you! Look, I have inscribed your name on My palms; your walls are constantly before Me. Your children hurry back, while those who destroyed and devastated you depart. Look all around you! All of them gather to you.

As surely as I live, says the Lord, you will certainly wear all of them like jewelry; you will put them on as if you were a bride. Yes, your land lies in ruins; it is desolate and devastated. But now you will be too small to hold your residents, and those who devoured you will be far away. Yet the children born during your time of bereavement will say within your hearing, ‘This place is too cramped for us, make room for us so we can live here.’ Then you will think to yourself, ‘Who bore these children for me? I was bereaved and barren, dismissed and divorced. Who raised these children? Look, I was left all alone; where did these children come from?’

This is what the sovereign Lord says: “Look I will raise My hand to the nations; I will raise My signal flag to the peoples. They will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders. Kings will be your children’s guardians; their princesses will nurse your children. With their faces to the ground they will bow down to you and they will lick the dirt on your feet. Then you will recognize that I am the Lord; those who wait patiently for Me are NOT put to shame. Can spoils be taken from a warrior, or captives be rescued from a conqueror? Indeed, says the Lord, “captives will be taken from a warrior; spoils will be rescued from a conqueror. I will oppose your adversary and I will rescue your children. I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will get drunk on their own blood, as if it were wine. Then all humankind will recognize that I am the Lord, your Deliverer, your Protector, the powerful ruler of Jacob, (spiritual Israelites,)

Long ago God named the 12 gates of New Jerusalem for the 12 tribes of Israel AND the 12 foundations of New Jerusalem for His 12 apostles of the Lamb. (See Revelations 21:)

One God, one Truth, Chapter 16

To: 33,700 Subscribers to Original Church of God teaching, God’s 7th Mo. Elul 18, 5,700,

There’s purpose in all God does. Feast of Booths, (Tabernacles) has purpose. This set aside time is to gather as one people, celebrate life in our temporary bodies, live in temporary booths, review from where God has brought us, mindful that our bodies, (our fleshly temples) are temporary, looking forward to a spiritual life in a new resurrected body.

God puts over people leaders they deserve. Popes and Protestant leaders should explain why they practice the things king Josiah was spiritually led to destroy. Before Josiah all but the tribe of Judah had been dispersed for their rebelliousness. For a little while Juda was turned back by a faithful king. (See 1Kings 13-2Kings 23)

That nature inherited through Adam is still man’s major problem and will be until supernaturally changed to Jesus’ nature. Without a strong society and God ordained laws, people turn to animalistic behaviors. Jesus had Paul expound.

(Rom 8:6-8; For to be carnally (naturally) minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.) (So how can the natural inherited from Adam mind changed from carnal to spiritual?)

(Rom 8:6-10; Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with (Him) that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He lives, He lives unto God.)

Even the religious prefer making God fit a view to their liking, but Israel’s history is preserved for our learning, the errors they made and punishments they are suffering need not be duplicated among spiritual Israelites. Called in this age have a responsibility to share this knowledge.

(Rim 15:1-7; We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification. For even Christ pleased not Himself, but as it is written, (The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on Me. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That you may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Wherefore receive you one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.)

No society can make lasting changes in the hearts and minds of people, only a supernatural nature change can do that. Jesus and His apostles referred to this as being, ‘born from above.’ Jesus inspired Paul to explain.

(Rom 8:4-11; That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity (hostile) against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But you (believers) are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells in you.)

It’s the mystery of the age, ‘God does the calling, choosing, and convert people with His gift of repentance.’ After king Josiah’s death God had Jeremiah write.

(Jer 25:1-14; The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah; in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; The which Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD has come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but you have not listened. And the LORD has sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear. They said, Turn you again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD has given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever: And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke Me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. (Note bad people are used to punish, and take freedoms from God’s chosen.)

Yet you have not hearkened unto Me, saith the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Because you have not heard My words, Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolate.

Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle. And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

It shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations. For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.)

This example isn’t necessarily prophesy, but shows God sometimes uses evil people to punish a people that should have known His Way. There’s much to consider for people who profess to believe in yet yield to old pagan practices. God calls such spiritual adultery.

One God, One Truth, chapter 15

The whole world will know of Jesus’ agenda after His return, Jesus inspired His prophet Isaiah’s 66th chapter with the following prophecies.  (Isaiah 66:7-14; Before she goes into labor, she gives birth! (Jerusalem will yet serve as nourishment to God’s people Israel.)

(Isaiah 66:15-17; For look, the LORD comes with fire, His chariots come like a windstorm, to reveal His raging anger, His battle cry, and His flaming arrows. For the LORD judges all humanity with fire and His sword; the LORD will kill many. “As for those who consecrate and ritually purify themselves so they can follow their leader and worship in the sacred orchards, (those who eat the flesh of pigs and other disgusting creatures, like mice — they will all be destroyed together,) says the LORD.

(Isa 66:18-19; “I hate their deeds and thoughts! So I am coming to gather all the nations and ethnic groups; they will come and witness My splendor. I will perform a mighty act among them and then send some of those who remain to the nations — to Tarshish, Pul, Lud (known for its archers ), Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands that have not heard about Me or seen My splendor. They will tell the nations of My splendor.

(Isa 66:20-22; They will bring back all your countrymen from all the nations as an offering to the LORD. They will bring them on horses, in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels to My holy hill Jerusalem,” says the LORD, “just as the Israelites bring offerings to the LORD’s temple in ritually pure containers. And I will choose some of them as priests and Levites,” says the LORD. “For just as the new heavens and the new earth I am about to make will remain standing before Me,” says the LORD, “so your descendants and your name will remain.

(Isa 66:23- From one month to the next and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to worship Me,” says the LORD. “They will go out and observe the corpses of those who rebelled against Me, for the maggots that eat them will not die, and the fire that consumes them will not die out. All people will find the sight abhorrent.”)

Much can be learned about God’s thinking, characteristics and mankind’s stubborn nature from the Pentateuch “meaning the first five books of the Bible; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.” Jesus and His apostles quoted from these, the prophets and Psalms often. The word Pentateuch comes from two Greek words that mean “five books” or “five scrolls.”

Followers of Jesus have mindsets likened to king Josiah’s, “when truth is revealed to our minds.” Some previous rulers of Israel and Judah had led the Israelites in the ways and customs of the pagan’s around them after the time of the judges; (as false teachers are leading people today.) King Josiah’s actions likely parallels much of what’s to take place when Jesus reigns as King of Kings.

(2Kings 23:4-30; “The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the high-ranking priests, and the guards to bring out of the Lord’s temple all the items that were used in the worship of Baal, Asherah, and all the stars of the sky. The king burned them outside of Jerusalem in the terraces of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel. He eliminated the pagan priests whom the kings of Judah had appointed to offer sacrifices on the high places in the cities of Judah and in the area right around Jerusalem. (They offered sacrifices to Baal, the sun god, the moon god, the constellations, and all the stars in the sky.)

He removed the Asherah pole from the Lord’s temple and took it outside Jerusalem to the Kidron Valley, where he burned it. He smashed it to dust and then threw the dust in the public graveyard. He tore down the quarters of the male cultic prostitutes in the Lord’s temple, where women were weaving shrines for Asherah. He brought all the priests from the cities of Judah and ruined the high places where the priests had offered sacrifices, from Geba to Beer Sheba. He tore down the high place of the goat idols situated at the entrance of the gate of Joshua, the city official, on the left side of the city gate.

(Now the priests of the high places did not go up to the altar of the Lord in Jerusalem, but they did eat unleavened cakes among their fellow priests.) The king ruined Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom so that no one could pass his son or his daughter through the fire to Molech.

He removed from the entrance to the Lord’s temple the statues of horses that the kings of Judah had placed there in honor of the sun god. (They were kept near the room of Nathan Melech the eunuch, which was situated among the courtyards.) He burned up the chariots devoted to the sun god. The king tore down the altars the kings of Judah had set up on the roof of Ahaz’s upper room, as well as the altars Manasseh had set up in the two courtyards of the Lord’s temple. He crushed them up and threw the dust in the Kidron Valley. The king ruined the high places east of Jerusalem, south of the Mount of Destruction, that King Solomon of Israel had built for the detestable.

Sidonian goddess Astarte, the detestable Moabite god Chemosh, and the horrible Ammonite god Milcom. He smashed the sacred pillars to bits, cut down the Asherah pole, and filled those shrines with human bones.

He also tore down the altar in Bethel at the high place made by Jeroboam son of Nebat, who encouraged Israel to sin. He burned all the combustible items at that high place and crushed them to dust; including the Asherah pole. When Josiah turned around, he saw the tombs there on the hill. So he ordered the bones from the tombs to be brought; he burned them on the altar and defiled it.

This fulfilled the Lord’s announcement made by the prophet while Jeroboam stood by the altar during a festival. King Josiah turned and saw the grave of the prophet who had foretold this. He asked, “What is this grave marker I see?” The men from the city replied, “It’s the grave of the prophet who came from Judah and foretold these very things you have done to the altar of Bethel.” The king said, “Leave it alone! No one must touch his bones.” So they left his bones undisturbed, as well as the bones of the Israelite prophet buried beside him.

Josiah also removed all the shrines on the high places in the cities of Samaria. The kings of Israel had made them and angered the Lord. He did to them what he had done to the high place in Bethel. He sacrificed all the priests of the high places on the altars located there, and burned human bones on them. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

The king ordered all the people, “Observe the Passover of the Lord your God, as prescribed in this scroll of the covenant.” He issued this edict because a Passover like this had not been observed since the days of the judges; it was neglected for the entire period of the kings of Israel and Judah. But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah’s reign, such a Passover of the Lord was observed in Jerusalem.

Josiah also got rid of the ritual pits used to conjure up spirits, the magicians, personal idols, disgusting images, and all the detestable idols that had appeared in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem. In this way he carried out the terms of the law recorded on the scroll that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the Lord’s templeNo king before or after repented before the Lord as he did, with his whole heart, soul, and being in accordance with the whole law of Moses. Yet the Lord’s great anger against Judah did not subside; he was still infuriated by all the things Manasseh had done.

The Lord announced, “I will also spurn Judah, just as I spurned Israel. I will reject this city that I chose – both Jerusalem and the temple, about which I said, “I will live there.” The rest of the events of Josiah’s reign and all his accomplishments are recorded in the scroll called the Annals of the Kings of Judah. During Josiah’s reign Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt marched toward the Euphrates River to help the king of Assyria.

King Josiah marched out to fight him, but Necho killed him at Megiddo when he saw him. His servants transported his dead body from Megiddo in a chariot and brought it to Jerusalem, where they buried him in his tomb. The people of the land took Josiah’s son Jehoahaz, poured olive oil on his head, and made him king in his father’s place.”)

Josiah’s end wasn’t because of his conduct; God had planned Judah’s disbursement, “like Israel before them their sinful practices and punishment was planned.”

Consider how many of these detestable practices, King Josiah ridded Judah of that’s practiced today? Believers IN are looking forward to these things being destroyed again! Unbelievers enjoy the status quo. Believers IN are led to be submissive to the authority of our Creator ‘Jesus’ & honoring things holy to Him! Christians are spirit led to heed the words of Paul as recorded in the following Hebrews text.

(Hebrews 13:1-17; “Brotherly love must continue. Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in prison as though you were in prison with them, and those ill-treated as though you too felt their torment.

Marriage must be honored among all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge sexually immoral people and adulterers. Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.” So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Remember your leaders, who spoke God’s message to you; reflect on the outcome of their lives and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever! Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them. We have an altar that those who serve in the tabernacle have no right to eat from. For the bodies of those animals whose blood the high priest brings into the sanctuary as an offering for sin are burned outside the camp.

Therefore, to sanctify the people by His own blood, Jesus also suffered outside the camp. We must go out to Him, then, outside the camp, bearing the abuse He experienced. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, acknowledging His name, (nature).

And do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for God is pleased with such sacrifices. Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls and will give an account for their work. Let them do this with joy and not with complaints, for this would be no advantage for you. Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to conduct ourselves rightly in every respect. I especially ask you to pray that I may be restored to you very soon.”)

Remember: “The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (SO, we should know, from God’s view, an unbeliever is one in whom God has not revealed Himself. A Believer is one in whom God has revealed Himself.)

One God, One Truth, chapter 14

Monday, August 23rd, 2021

To: 33,698 subscribers to, original Church of God Teaching, God’s 7th Mo. Euel 15, 5,781, 8/22/21.

Last evening began ‘The Feast of Tabernacles’ the sixth of seven annual Sabbaths. A perpetual Sabbath for God’s people, reminding that, ‘the temples we’re housed in are temporary,’ and a permanent spiritual body awaits all who’re recipient of the Holy Spirit.

Consider, ‘New Jerusalem’s twelve gates are named for the twelve tribes of Israel, and its twelve foundations for the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (See Rev 21:12-14) After Jesus’ parable about the rich man and Lazarus, the rich ask that one be sent to his brothers, saying; ‘if one from the dead goes, they’ll hear’ Jesus’ response on behalf of Abraham was, ‘if they don’t hear Moses, neither will they hear one from the dead.’ (Luke 16:29-31; But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they must respond to them.’ Then the rich man said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ He replied to him, ‘If they do not respond to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’) We can’t teach Jesus without Moses.

Its day two, day before yesterday was the seventh and God’s ordained ‘set aside’ weekly Sabbath, foreshadowing what we believe to be the seventh one thousand year since Adam & Jesus’ prophesied return to rule supreme, bring peace and righteous judgment.

God’s law and ways are supreme; when man’s laws and practices don’t square, it’s the result of his living according to what seems right; ‘that’s sin.’ Our Creator has the prerogative to define sin ‘as lawlessness.’ When His loving, righteous nature is revealed, people are spiritually compelled to practice life as Jesus commanded and love as He loves. Only then do people realize that God is supreme in all things. This realization is gifted spiritually and is a call to abandon previously held, ‘fleshly lawless practices that seemed right and turn to Jesus’ spiritual commands.’ It amounts to spiritual circumcision of the heart. People can’t practice lawlessness in God’s view and His righteousness at the same time. Jesus inspired Paul’s explanation.

(Gal 5:22-26; But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Now those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also behave in accordance with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, being jealous of one another.) It’s the practice of overcoming sin in Jesus’ light. Growing in the grace and knowledge of God; becoming mature in Christ.

(1Cor 2:6-16; Now we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are perishing. Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery; that God determined before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood it. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But just as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love Him.” God has revealed these to us by the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among (fleshly) men knows the things of a man except the man’s spirit within him? So too, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we (followers of Jesus) have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God. And we speak about these things, not with words taught us by human wisdom, but with those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise Him? But we (Believers) have the mind of Christ.) (No one knows the things of God, until the spirit of God is gifted to the mind.)

When Jesus knew it was time for Him to die for our sins, He went out to pray, threw Himself to the ground and asked, ‘if it be possible let this hour pass.’ Asking His Father in a personal way, saying, “Abba Father all things are possible for You take this cup away from Me, Yet not what I will, but what You will.” See Mark 14:35-36.) (Abba means Father in Aramaic.)

Jesus knew that personal relationship with His Father, a relationship each believer must have, to worship in spirit and truth. Jesus’ shedding His life blood for the remission of our sins had been planned from the time of His re-creating this earth. (Preplanned that the Creator of life, shed His life’s blood so a new spiritual life, could be gifted to the called. Making that Jesus’ spiritual life could be imputed to believing IN people.

Who are unbelievers in God’s View? Does any other view matter? Professing Christians and others who call themselves believers, but don’t practice are deceived. How can all these with varying doctrinal views be believers; unless our Creator God be a divided deity? Jesus and His apostles taught that God is not divided and that understanding is spiritually discerned.

(1Cor 2:14; The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.)

God’s view is, “unbelieving people are those He hasn’t revealed Himself to. Believers are those He has revealed Himself to.”

Consider Paul’s conversion, he was a strict law keeping Pharisee who believed keeping the law earned him salvation. He had believed in the Old Covenant and adamantly practiced the Pharisees doctrine. He could be likened to any devout denominationalist of our day. He explained to the Galatians.

(Gal 1:13-17; For you have heard of my former way of life in Judaism, how I was savagely persecuting the church of God and trying to destroy it. I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my nation, and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my ancestors. But when the One who set me apart from birth and called me by His grace was pleased to reveal His Son in me so that I could preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not go to ask advice from any human being, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before me, but right away I departed to Arabia, and then returned to Damascus.)

See that? ONCE God the Father revealed Jesus to Paul, he understood the Old Covenant prophecies about the coming Messiah, ‘so where does Paul’s Galatians and Colossians letters put die hard denominationalist theories?’ (If each group’s doctrinal beliefs were acceptable to God, then He’d be a divided deity.)

The holy scriptures teach; there’s no division between Jesus and God the Father. Jesus had much to say on this topic. When the Pharisees were accusing Jesus of casting demons out by the power of the devil, He said; (Matt 12:22-37; if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out?” For this reason they will be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already overtaken you. How else can someone enter a strong man’s house and steal his property, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can thoroughly plunder the house. Whoever is not with Me is against Me, and whoever does not gather with Me scatters. For this reason I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.”

Offspring of vipers! How are you able to say anything good, since you are evil? For the mouth speaks from what fills the heart. The good person brings good things out of his good treasury, and the evil person brings evil things out of his evil treasury. I tell you that on the day of judgment people will give an account for every worthless word they speak. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.)

Spiritual discernments from these verses are: (1) the spirit of God has already overtaken you. Past tense: as in much of God’s Word, the meaning is “good as done; prophesy is sure.” (2) If the Holy Spirit leads us to understand truth, and we speak against that understanding punishment is sure. (3) The strong man picture could be Satan, ‘he is to be tied up - bound.’ (4) False teaching scatters, (divides) with various erroneous teachings. Teaching without spiritual discernment is serious and words need to be carefully selected.

Much that’s recorded in God’s Word concerning Israelite history, is likened to what’s around us now, and what will unfold during Jesus’ millennial reign. (For example: at 2 Kings 22; Josiah became king when eight years old. He was steadfast in doing what’s right in God‘s view. When Shaphan (a scribe) told king Josiah about the priest giving him a copy of a scroll, the king asked that it be read to him. When the king heard the words of the law scroll, he tore his clothes. Then ordered he Shaphan; “to go, seek an oracle from the Lord for me and the people (for all Judah.) Find out about the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the Lord’s fury has been ignited against us, because our ancestors have not obeyed the words of this scroll by doing all that it instructs us to do.)

Much can be discerned about God’s allowing people go the way that seemed right from ‘first and second Kings.’ After King David, one like Josiah ruled for a time, then one like Jeroborom, who changed the seventh month festival to the eighth month to divide the people, See 1 Kings 12:28) Before David God had set up judges to lead Israel; Samuel being the last before Saul; when the people wanted a king like the gentiles. Remember the Lord God Jesus told Samuel, ‘they aren’t rejecting you but Me.”

Its day one, yesterday the seventh was God’s ordained ‘set aside’ Sabbath, foreshadowing what we believe to be the seventh one thousand year since Adam & Jesus’ return to reign supreme, bring peace and righteous judgment.

God’s law and ways are supreme; man’s laws and practices that don’t square with them are the result of his living according to what seems right and is sin. As Creator God has the prerogative to define sin as lawlessness. When His loving, righteous nature is revealed to individuals, they’re spiritually compelled to practice life as commanded and love as He loves. Only then do people realize that God is supreme in all things. This realization is gifted spiritually and is a call to abandon previously held, fleshly lawless practices that seemed right and turn to Jesus’ spiritual ways. It amounts to spiritual circumcision of the heart.

When Jesus knew it was time for Him to die for our sins, He went out to pray, threw Himself to the ground and asked, “if it be possible let this hour pass.” He addressed His Father in a personal way saying, “Abba Father all things are possible for You take this cup away from Me, Yet not what I will, but what You will.” See Mark 14:35-36.) (Abba means Father in Aramaic.)

Jesus felt that personal relationship with His Father, a relationship each believer must have, to worship in spirit and truth. Jesus’ shedding His life blood for the remission of our sins had been planned from the time of His re-creating this earth. (Preplanned that the Creator of life, shed His life’s blood so a new spiritual life, could be gifted.

God’s view is “unbelieving people are those He hasn’t revealed Himself to. Believers are those God has revealed Himself to.”

One God, One Truth, chapter 12

T0: 33,655 subscribers to Original Church of God teaching.’ God’s 7th Mo. Elul 12, 5,781, 8/20/21.     In one of Jesus’ parable He likened evil people to weeds, field to the world and good seed to believers, ‘those hearing and responding.’ Reading gems of truth is food from the Vine, (Jesus) to the branches, (believers) changes outlooks, and branch’s desires. Jesus is the One sowing the good seed and weeds are the world’s followers. When Jesus returns at the end of the age, His angels will collect and burn up weeds, ‘that’s the second death.’ (See Rev 21:8)

(Matthew 13:36-50; Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” He answered, “The One who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world and the good seed are the people of The Kingdom.” Weeds are people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. As the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send His angels; they will gather from His kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears had better listen!)

Next Jesus gave three parable examples about His kingdom’s value.

(Matt 13:44-50; (1)The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.” (2) “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls. When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.” (3) “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea that caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, they pulled it ashore, sat down, and put the good fish into containers and threw the bad away. It will be this way at the end of the age. Angels will come and separate the evil from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”)

Today spiritual Israelites are followers of Jesus, their status or condition is likened to that of Israel being called out of Egypt. Scripturally speaking; “both Gentile and Israelite followers of Jesus are spiritual Jews” and Heirs with Abraham. (See Gal 3:29)

‘Jacob, Israel and Jew’ are synonymous with Christian in New Testament scripture.’ God‘s love for people, and how people should love one another is reflected in His commanding a rest on the seventh day. Resting from normal activities is to remind people that “God has purpose in His creation.

Our Creator’s first command was, “don’t partake of the tree in the middle of the orchard”, that tree represented life, and knowledge of good and evil. See Gen 2:9)

Consider; Creator Jesus didn’t want Adam and Eve partaking of this fruit particular tree of knowledge, ‘because He’s the Vine and they the branches, who get their nourishment from the Vine.’ Truth is in Jesus and all things exist by Him. To desire knowledge of good and evil apart from our Creator is idolatry. Disobeying Jesus’ first command was sin, it was law and later the Lord God would spell it out more precisely.

(Exodus 20:3-6; You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is on the earth beneath or that is in the water below. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I, the Lord, your God, am a jealous God, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children to the third and fourth generations of those who reject Me, and showing covenant faithfulness to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.)

Its revealed to God’s called out people that choosing for one’s self, what’s right, wrong, good and evil is idolatry, ‘amounting to obedience to Satan.’

The disobedience of deciding for self what’s lawless is sin, the Lord God Jesus wrote the commandments with His own finger, for good to a stubborn people. (Jesus’ apostle John explained sin.)

(1John 3:4; Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; indeed, ‘sin is lawlessness.’)

When people believe they evolved from some other life form, they don‘t know God and His supreme law. Each likeminded then becomes a law to themselves, making themselves little gods.

Since we’re God’s creation, He’s justified in giving us rules for our good. Justified to bless, curse, punish, or reward His subjects. Failure to love and obey God was sin since creation.

The scriptural history of Israel’s trials and errors, demonstrate that God allowed people to go the way of choice, but He’s ultimately in full control of ALL His creation.

From the beginning God planned The Way for the saving of His called people from themselves, (the Son of God would sacrifice His life’s blood for the remission of their sins.) God’s plan revolves around His love for the world and the imputation of His loving Holy Spirit to His chosen people.

Justified because, He’s the Creator, Re-Creator, Sustainer, Deliverer, Mediator, Savior, and the coming King of Kings. (These beliefs make followers of Jesus spiritual Israelites, a people who know, Godly love and choose to follow faithful Abraham’s example, ‘who God called friend.’ Abraham lovingly lived as a friend to the loving will of God. So, God made promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob’s heirs. “Jacob’s name God changed to Israel”, making his heirs and Jesus’ followers, ‘spiritual Israelites.’ (The name Israel means, God fights.)

As planned, Israel served Egypt 430 years as foretold to Abraham. Their history and life experiences are recorded for our learning. (Scripturally Egypt is synonymous with sin, ‘lawlessness.’) Israel was so indoctrinated with the Egyptian way, as people today are to this world’s system of things.

The written law and oracles were given because of transgressions.

Administered through God’s angels as ‘Intermediaries’, to a stubborn chosen people, unwilling to walk lovingly and obediently as did Abraham.’ So they and all people need God’s laws as a guardians until Jesus’ gift of His believing in faith. (Allow Paul’s explanation.)

(Galatians 3:19-22; Why then, was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the Descendant, ‘Jesus to whom the promise had been made.’ It (the law) was administered through angels as intermediaries. Now an intermediary is not for one party alone, but God is One. Is the law therefore opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then, righteousness would certainly have come by the law. But the scripture, (written letter of the law) imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given – because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ – to those who believe.)

The law demonstrates people’s imperfections, defines sin, and shows that, we each deserve eternal death! Israel’s attempt to live by God’s law in a worshipful fashion was not lawlessness like, or in the same manner as were non-Israelites, ‘who worshiped imaginary gods and made their own law.’ (Writing to people of Israel, Paul explains.)

(Galatians 2:15-21; We are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe IN Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by the faithfulness of Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.)

Why? (It’s not in our natural inherited from Adam nature to obey the spiritual intent of the law!) It’s Jesus’ faithfulness, His perfect obedience and shed blood that we must believe in and rely on for our justification.

(Gal 2:17-18; But if while seeking to be justified in Christ we ourselves have also been found to be sinners, is Christ then one who encourages sin? Absolutely not! But if I build up again those things I once destroyed, I demonstrate that I am one who breaks God’s law. (A transgressor)

As a people justified in Christ, we seek to live in His Light. We desire to be clothed with and immersed in Him, ‘so He makes us mindful of and desire to work at overcoming our old inherited nature.’

(Gal 2:19-21; For through the law I died to the law so that I may live to God. I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So the life I now live in the body, I live because of the faithfulness of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside God’s grace, because if righteousness could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing!)

Jesus took our lawless nature on Himself, by becoming sin for us and gifting us with a belief in His shed blood ‘life’, so we can faithfully trust His lead, and seek living His Way through love.

DOES loving Jesus’ Way annul His Sabbaths? Does it annul adultery; physical or spiritual? NO. Loving Jesus’ way is to be of a circumcised heart. A condition all believers IN Jesus seek to acquire.

We shouldn’t be surprised when leaders say; “we must move as quickly as possible to a one world government, one religion and world leader.” Fleshly people are thinking fleshly, divided nations and religions are on destructive paths. Spirit led people know a one world order is coming, one not left to mankind’s choosing. (Creator, Re-Creator, our Christian Mediator and coming king of kings ‘Jesus’ said; “If those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the Elect those days will be cut short.” Matt 24:22.) (He inspired Isaiah to write; The Lord makes this solemn vow, “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen.” Isa 14:24)

The serpent, that old devil and Satan was allowed to talk with Eve. After questioning her about God’s command, and the result of being disobedient, the serpent said to the woman, “Surely you will not die, for God knows that when you eat from it (the forbidden) your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.” Genesis 3:4-5)

People desire understanding apart from God ever since. That is; desire to know for self, what’s right. Even theorizing, “your truth may not be mine.” Satan told half truths, knowing God’s plan was to make many people divine beings, by imputing His spiritual mind in them, by providing the way to make people ‘at one’ with Himself.

Satan knew that ultimately God’s chosen will rule with Jesus, and judge angelic beings. Knowing the world would be deceived, may be why Jesus ask; “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” May be why Jesus said; “if possible, even the Elect would be deceived. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders.” Satan has deceived the world into believing in some form of his lie. That immortality is automatic, or can be earned by some particular method. Christendom use Jesus’ Lazarus parable, not understanding why He spoke in parables. (See Matt 13:10 and Isaiah 6:9-10).

God’s TRUTH is, “immortality is only gifted through Jesus” a people believing in Jesus.” People made spirit for a spiritual resurrection, a likeness of Jesus’, and a second death to all who refuse to believe in Him. (See Rev 21:8)

Unbelievers are to be burned up: (See Malachi 4:1-3; (Malachi 3:19; For, indeed the day is coming, burning like a furnace, and all the arrogant evildoers will be chaff. The coming day will burn them up says the Lord who rules over all. It will not leave even a root or branch. But for you who respect My name, “the sun of vindication will rise with healing wings, and you will skip about like calves released from the stall. You will trample on the wicked, for they will be like ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the Lord who rules over all.) Malachi was inspired by the Lord God Jesus, He quoted and Matthew wrote.

(Matt 3:12; His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will clean out His threshing floor and will gather His wheat into the storehouse, but the chaff He will burn up with inextinguishable fire.)

Jesus inspired His apostle Paul to explain to Timothy.

(1Timothy 6:13-16; I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made His good confession before Pontius Pilate, to obey this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ – whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time. He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power!)

Jesus is our Creator, Sustainer, Mediator, and only through Him is eternal life, ‘immortality.’ When? Jesus revealed to Paul and His chosen who believe in Him. Remember the 4th annual Sabbath ‘Trumpets’ was 10 days ago.

(1Corinthians 15:50-58; Now this is what I, (Paul) am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we (believers) will be changed. For, this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen. “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.’)

(Believers in Jesus UNDERSTAND; Satan lied when he told Eve; “surely you will not die, for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.”) Believers IN know, “our Creator is justified in all His doings.” We’re all born with a sin nature inherited from Adam, “mortal flesh and blood life and nature that must be converted.” We can’t rid ourselves of that nature, independent of our Creator. Eternal death is justified because of that inherited from Adam lawless sin nature. Paul explained to God’s church at Rome and all Believers in Jesus.

(Romans 5:12-21; So then, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all people because all sinned – for before the law was given, sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin when there is no law. Yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who did not sin in the same way that Adam (who is a type of the coming One) transgressed. But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, (Adam) how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the One man, Jesus Christ multiply to the many! And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification. For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in ‘eternal’ life through the One, Jesus Christ! Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of One man many will be made righteous.

Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more, so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.) Immortality is gifted only through Jesus Christ our Lord; Jesus‘ faith, is gifted to those called to believe in.

(Genesis 2:1-3; The heavens and the earth were completed with everything that was in them. By the seventh day God finished the work that He had been doing and He ceased on the seventh day all the work that He had been doing. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on it He ceased all the work that He had been doing in creation.)

God made the seventh day holy! The seventh day is to be remembered because God ceased creating and rested that day. Resting from work activity on the seventh day is to remind us of His promised millennial rest, a peaceful time on earth.

Our inherited from Adam nature prefers deciding for its self, what’s right, wrong, good and evil; rather than believe in every word from the God of truth. God’s commandments for our good. The QUESTION remains. Will Jesus find faith in, God the Father and Himself on earth when He returns? Are many responding to Jesus’ message? May God have mercy on the world.
