Holy God: thank You for each called out Believer and we ask that You gift each with strength to overcome to the end. We ask in Jesus’ holy name and nature. AMEN

Few calling themselves Christian are genuine Followers of Jesus. The many claiming to be Christian have their own definition. Most popular is: (one claiming Jesus their savior.) That doesn’t parallel with Jesus’ and His apostles. Satan loves the majority definition, which makes it easy to manifest himself as an angel of light. Jesus inspired Paul to give His definition at, (2Cor 11:14; “one led to believe IN Jesus keeps His commandments and holds to the testimony that He is the Son of God, our Savior and coming King of Kings.)

The world’s definition of obedience applies a twisted view. It attempts to divide God the Father and God the Son. The world, led by Satan has an animosity toward believers in Jesus. Near the end of this age, when Satan knows his demise is near he’ll attempt to persecute and destroy Jesus’ followers. Jesus’ revelations to John in chapter 12:15-18; sheds light.

“Then the serpent spouted water like a river out of his mouth after the woman (church or Christians) in an attempt to sweep her away by a flood, but the earth came to her rescue; the ground opened up and swallowed the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth. So the dragon became enraged at the woman (church of God) and went away to make war on the rest of her children, those who keep God’s commandments and hold to the testimony about Jesus.

Unbelievers oppose all God’s supernatural creations, and His demonstrating that He’s the Son of God with miraculous deeds. (He said, “if you don’t believe Moses, you aren’t going to believe Me” for Moses wrote about Me. (Moses wrote that the Lord, ‘Jesus’ created Adam from dirt.) When people genuinely believe in Jesus, ‘it goes without saying that He’s responsible to tell us what’s right, wrong, good, and evil;’ what to believe and not believe.

Moses and the prophets were led to tell us what things are abominations to God, what He loves and what He hates. In other words, genuinely believers in Jesus know Him as Creator, and have an obedient loving mindset toward Him.

(John 6:14-15 Now when the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus performed, they began to say to one another, “This is certainly the Prophet who is to come into the world.” (Then Jesus, because He knew they were going to come and seize Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again up the mountainside alone.) Believers IN are still looking for that predestined Messiah’s return.

(John 6:16-24; Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the lake, got into a boat, and started to cross the lake to Capernaum. (It had already become dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.) By now a strong wind was blowing and the sea was getting rough. Then, when they had rowed about three or four miles, they caught sight of Jesus walking on the lake, approaching the boat, and they were frightened. But He said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid.”

Then they wanted to take Him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land where they had been headed. The next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the lake realized that only one small boat had been there, and that Jesus had not boarded it with His disciples, but that His disciples had gone away alone. But some boats from Tiberias came to shore near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. So when the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, they got into the boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus.) (These were looking for Jesus, because of His miracles, NOT for the right reason. The only right way is to look for Jesus with an obedient to His will mindset. Jesus shares that He is aware of their reason for flocking to Him.)

(John 6:25-34; When they found Him on the other side of the lake, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, you are looking for Me, not because you saw miraculous signs, but because you ate all the loaves of bread you wanted.” “Do not work for the food that disappears, but for the food that remains to eternal life – the food which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has put His seal of approval on Him.” So then they said to Him, “What must we do to accomplish the deeds God requires?” Jesus replied, “This is the deed God requires – to believe IN the One whom He sent.” So they said to Him, “Then what miraculous sign will You perform, so that we may see it and believe You? What will You do? Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’ Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the solemn truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but My Father is giving you the true bread from heaven. For, the bread of God is the One who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” So they said to Him, “Sir, give us this bread all the time!”) Study these nine verses. Many read them without believing IN them. If we believe IN these nine verses, it’s gifted. Does this define God’s gifted nature in people?

(John 6:35-38; Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life.” The one who comes to Me will never go hungry, and the one who believes IN Me will never be thirsty. But I told you that you have seen Me and still do not believe. Everyone whom the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never send away. For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will but the will of the One who sent Me.)

Thank You, heavenly Father for preserving these holy text. Again Jesus is stating that, “God the Father calls, gives His chosen the mind to come to Jesus. Through Jesus is the life that was planned from the beginning: even before Satan was kicked out away from God’s heavenly throne. (God’s plan for His people may be the cause of Satan’s jealously.)

AGAIN Jesus tells us, “whom the Father GIVES Me will come to Me.” Whose choice? Not ours! Will Jesus ever send those the Father gives Him away? AGAIN Jesus emphasizes, that He and His Father are AT ONE.

(John 6:39; Now this is the will of the One who sent Me – that I should not lose one person of every one He has given Me, but raise them all up at the last day.) GET IT? Believers IN are called by the Father! Jesus will keep each one! This same good news, (gospel) is emphasized many times, but few believe God..

(John 6:40; For this is the will of My Father – for everyone who looks on the Son and believes IN Him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.) (Does this sound like folks are born immortal? Jesus will resurrect believers IN Him, at the first resurrection. No one can explain it better than Paul.)

(1Thess 4:13-18; Now, we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep as Christians. For we tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will surely not go ahead of those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.)

We’re attempting to encourage each reader with these foundational truths! Lift up the depressed, feed the spiritually hungry and extend genuine outgoing love. The Love of God is expressed in these foundational truths. Remember Jesus said; “I am sent by the Father to save the world.”
