Christians can’t be of this world, that is, be overly involved, because our kingdom isn’t of this world. Worshiping together is important, ‘when we’re mindful of the times and fact that the world is serving many gods’ but when we study and discuss God’s’ word revelation and understandings are likely. Matthew recorded Jesus; (Matt 18:20; For where two or three are assembled in My name, I am there among them.) In Jesus’ name is more than using it, it has to do with Jesus’ sending, as an ambassadors or nature of.

Heavenly Father: please give us the mind to understand Your truth, flee from deceptive practices and seek Jesus’ gifted faith. We ask in the holy name and nature of Jesus. Amen.

We intend to show the correlation in Genesis, the New Covenant, Jesus’ perpetual promises and saving grace. (The Holy Scriptures teach; a person’s belief and practices becomes their god.) One’s mental mindset and outlook demonstrate who they serve. Motives, good and bad originate in the mind as we’re taught. Believing any lie enslaves; truth sets free. Satan’s lies enslave, indoctrinate to the degree that, to be free, people need God’s intervention. Satan promotes many gods, has one to fit most any fleshly viewpoint. (Jesus refers to him as, the god of this world, accuser, conquer of the nations, a murderer and liar. He’s more powerful than the average person can imagine. Think it through; is the foundation for life practices based on people’s beliefs? People not believing in God are pegged as agnostics, atheists etc. but Jesus says, ‘they don’t know Me or My Father.’

It’s idolatry when we don’t trust God’s view for what’s right, wrong, good and evil. (The bottom line; ‘believing IN any lie, puts one in a bondage that’s impossible to escape, except God our Father supernatural intervenes, calls and gives us over to Jesus.) So, beliefs can either enslave or makes one free. The only true freedom is a gifted belief IN God, as He manifest Himself to be in the Holy Scriptures. (Remember, Satan was allowed to tempt Jesus, even promising Him a kingdom and remember too, Jesus said, “I beheld Satan fall like lighting.) See Luke 10:18)

To know Satan’s deceptions we need to know his purpose is to divide, deceive, manifest himself, and his followers as angels of light etc. (See 2 Cor 11:14) We need to know God is allowing Satan’s short term dominance for His own ultimate purpose. After Jesus returns the world will know Satan as the deceiver he is, he’ll be bound for one thousand years. Only then will the many remorsefully turn to the ways of God. Today Satan is being allowed to deceive, “all but the Elect.”

(Matthew 24:22-24; And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the Elect those days will be cut short. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe him. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect.)

Today God is revealing Himself and exposing Satan to a chosen Elect, revealing knowledge of Himself as to the writer of the Psalms.

(Psalms 119:137-144; You are just, O Lord, and your judgments are fair. The rules You impose are just, and absolutely reliable. My zeal consumes me, for my enemies forget Your instructions. Your word is absolutely pure, and Your servant loves it! I am insignificant and despised, yet I do not forget Your precepts. Your justice endures, and Your law is reliable. Distress and hardship confront me, yet I find delight in Your commands. Your rules remain just. Give me insight so that I can live.)

Spiritual insight is indeed a gift. Spiritual insight leads us to seek God’s View and replace our inherited fleshly attitudes with His gifted knowledge. The world definition of a Christian is opposite the biblical definition. To be “Christ like” is to believe IN as David expressed in Psalms. The Lord God Jesus inspired the holy scriptures original writings, revealing Himself as Lord to His prophets, apostles and each called out person.

Without gifted revelation people choose what seems right to their inherited from Adam fleshly nature. Satan enjoys people taking pride in their own truth, choosing a way that seems right: thus be little gods to themselves.

The holy scriptures also define Satan as, ‘author of confusion,’ taking advantage of our inherited from Adam nature. Individually we each have inherited a little god mentality, that Satan is able to take full advantage of. With the help of that inherited nature, Satan is able to take the whole world down a divisionary path of destruction. So we have many religions theories, disagreements, wars and fighting. Jesus’ brother, James taught it.

(James 4.1-4; From where come wars and fighting among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts. You adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.)

Because of our fleshly inheritance from Adam, our logic can’t take us to the source of truth. Can only lead to a ‘seems to me personal belief.’ So, yielding to our inherited fleshly thinking makes us as little gods to ourselves, ‘until Creator Jesus is revealed.’ The way children are taught and adults educated, sets the foundational belief core; which takes root and becomes what each grows to be. When teaching is founded on lies, people become enslaved to more lies.

God’s Word teaches, that our self serving independent nature must be turned from and a yielding to God’s Way turned to, ‘in order to inherit eternal life.’ Fleshly logic can lead to good practices, from bad habits and to morals standards, but can’t lead to spiritual truth. It’s human logic, with Satan’s help that leads to the thinking, ‘what’s true for you may not be true for me’ and directly from, ‘the author of confusion.’

Believers in Jesus are led, as was Moses; that our Creator is truth. Moses was inspired to write.

(Deut 12:4; He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His Ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.) Jesus said and John recorded at 3:20-21; for every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought (made careful) in God.

Our deeds must be made manifested to our understanding; that is, we must be led to understand that our inherited nature is self serving. Through worldly religions, people grow even more self serving, with a, ‘me, mine and ours mentality.’ The ‘seems to me’ mentality becomes standard, causing people to desire the praise of others, love money and power. This inherited nature causes the powerful to do favors for one another and lord over the less fortunate.

God the Father and God the Son knew most of their ‘created with choice beings’ would be tempted to choose from their self serving nature. Apparently angelic beings could choose to be loyal or not, but people created in God’s image are gifted with Godly talents, which can not only choose but, plan, create, make goals and choose whether to be obedient. Consider this; because we’re created in God’s image, He desires we grow in a character likened to His. How could people develop Godly characteristics without the ability to choose right from wrong? How could we overcome and grow unless tempted by our self serving nature and demonic influence? Consider how it began.

Satan first tempted Eve saying “surely you will not die.” (The Lord God had told Adam and Eve not to partake of the fruit on a certain tree, ‘less they die.’ Satan’s second lie was, “God lied, He knows when you eat you will be like divine beings knowing good and evil.” Let’s review the text again.

Gen 3:1-5; The Serpent said to the woman, “Is it really true that God said, You must not eat from any tree of the orchard’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit from the trees of the orchard; but concerning the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the orchard, God said, ‘You must not eat from it, and you must not touch it, or else you will die.’” The serpent said to the woman, “Surely you will not die, for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.”

Satan knew deciding what is right, wrong, good and evil is a Creator God prerogative only.) Adam and Eve’s first sin was to doubt their Creator’s purpose. Their yielding to the God gifted ‘choice nature’ separating humankind from other created instinctive animals was sin. The devil’s suggesting that God lied, or was holding back knowledge was for selfish reasons. Eve bought Satan’s deception.

As do most all fleshly people in each age; Eve and Adam yielded to their God created desire for knowledge apart from God’s command which is idolatry.

(Gen 3:6-7; When the woman saw that the tree produced fruit that was good for food, was attractive to the eye and was desirable for making one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate it. She also gave some of it to her husband who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them opened, and they knew they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.)

Satan told a partial truth; disobedience caused loss of innocence and their worshipful dependency on God evaporated. Only then did they realize they were naked. (It was idolatry ‘sin’ when they trusted their self serving nature, regarding what seemed right, rather than trusting their Creator for knowledge regarding what’s right, wrong, good and evil.) Had God created in people, ‘animalistic instinct’ they like animals, would not have had the ability to choose. There’d been no temptation! (But God did put in people’s nature, an imputed choice mechanism, a mindset independency.) When we yield to, that self serving desire; (that hostile, rebellious tendency) its sin.) That sin carries over into lording over others. Thus, the many opinions, denominations, religions, politics, division and war: ALL caused by the influence of culprit “Satan.” So, all pro-created humanity has inherited Adam’s nature, that’s hostile to God’s nature. (The result of that sin nature is eternal death, until it’s supernaturally changed.)

All people to whom, “God doesn’t give a new nature and spiritual understanding to”, does what seems right to their fleshly inherited from Adam nature. So, let’s consider Satan’s thinking after he chose to follow the desires of his mind, and why he’s referred to as “conqueror of the nations” and what people will think of him in the future. Jesus revealed it to Isaiah for our good.

(Isaiah14:12-27; Look how you have fallen from the sky, O shining one, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, O conqueror of the nations! You said to yourself, “I will climb up to the sky. Above the stars of El. I will set up my throne. (Much of our Bible overview is by translators adhering to Canaanite mythology. Stars of El were astral deities under the authority of the high god El.) I will rule on the mountain of assembly on the remote slopes of Zaphon. I will climb up to the tops of the clouds; “I will make myself like the Most High!” (God of Israel.) But you were brought down to Sheol, to the remote slopes of the pit. Those who see you stare at you, they look at you carefully, thinking: “Is this the man who shook the earth, the one who made kingdoms tremble? Is this the one who made the world like a desert, who ruined its cities and refused to free his prisoners so they could return home?

As for all the kings of the nations, all of them lie down in splendor, each in his own tomb. But you have been thrown out of your grave like a shoot that is thrown away. You lie among the slain, among those who have been slashed by the sword, among those headed for the stones of the pit, as if you were a mangled corpse. You will not be buried with them, because you destroyed your land and killed your people. The offspring of the wicked will never be mentioned again.

Prepare to execute his sons for the sins their ancestors have committed. They must not rise up and take possession of the earth, or fill the surface of the world with cities.” “I will rise up against them,” says the Lord who commands armies. “I will blot out all remembrance of Babylon and destroy all her people, including the offspring she produces,” says the Lord. “I will turn her into a place that is overrun with wild animals and covered with pools of stagnant water. I will get rid of her just as one sweeps away dirt with a broom,” says the Lord who commands armies.

The Lord who commands armies makes this solemn vow: “Be sure of this: Just as I have intended, so it will be; just as I have planned, it will happen. I will break Assyria in My land, I will trample them underfoot on My hills. Their yoke will be removed from My people, the burden will be lifted from their shoulders. This is the plan I have devised for the whole earth; My hand is ready to strike all the nations.” Indeed, the Lord who commands armies has a plan and who can possibly frustrate it? His hand is ready to strike, and who can possibly stop it?)

Lying, deceitful Satan is alive, deceiving the nations and individuals who yield to their self serving desires. The whole world is deceived as they drink Satan’s poisonous lies regarding immortality and divine nature. But followers of Jesus are gifted with eternal life. Creator Jesus’ apostle Paul’s gifted revelations regarding immortality adds this truth.

(Romans 2:6-10; He will reward each one according to his works, eternal life to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality, wrath and anger to those who live in selfish ambition and do not obey the truth, follow unrighteousness. There will be affliction and distress on everyone who does evil, on the Jew first and also the Greek but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, for the Jew first and also the Greek.)

Satan has the many serving many gods, of which has no power, but he knew God was making the way for people created in His image to inherit eternal life through Jesus’ sacrifice.

(1Cor 15:50-56; Now this is what I, ‘Paul’ am saying, brothers and sisters: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we, ‘Believers IN Jesus’ will all be changed – in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable and we will be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. Now when this perishable puts on the imperishable, and this mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will happen, “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”) (Satan’s Creator, said the following to hostile Israelites, whose nature was like Satan’s.)

(John 8:44; You people are from your father the devil and you want to do what your father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.) (Likewise, people teaching Satan’s deceptions want the world yielding to his created nature.)

Jesus’ apostle Paul also wrote Timothy, his revelations regarding evil and eternal life. (1Timothy 6:10-16; The love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains. But you, as a person dedicated to God, keep away from all that. Instead pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness. Compete well for the faith and lay hold of that eternal life, you were called for and made your good confession for in the presence of many witnesses. I charge you before God who gives life to all things and Christ Jesus who made His good confession before Pontius Pilate, to obey this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ – whose appearing the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, will reveal at the right time. He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen).

Jesus’ apostles knew Satan’s characteristics, warned of his devices. (Peter shared: “Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour. “Resist him, strong in your faith, because you know that your brothers and sisters throughout the world are enduring the same kinds of suffering.” 1Peter 5:-9)

For the Christian it’s true: God’s enemies are ours, His commandments are ours and what’s holy to Him is holy to us.

Worldly religions using Jesus’ name have agendas, blamed the Jews for Jesus’ death and made their rationale the reason to persecute and kill Jews. Until this date, the so called “United Nations” majority votes against Israel, blaming them for the causative conditions with their aggressive neighbors. A people openly stating their desire for Israel’s destruction. At Jesus’ trial the Roman governor in Jerusalem couldn’t find a cause for punishing Jesus; nevertheless to appease the Jewish leaders he authorized a flogging and then the murder of Jesus.

(John 19:8-14; When Pilate heard what they said, he was more afraid than ever and he went back into the governor’s residence and said to Jesus, “Where do you come from?” But Jesus gave him no answer. So Pilate said, “Do you refuse to speak to me? Don’t you know I have the authority to release you and to crucify you?” Jesus replied, “You would have no authority over Me at all, unless it was given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed Me over to you is guilty of greater sin.

From this point on, Pilate tried to release Him. But the Jewish leaders shouted out, “If you release this man, you are no friend of Caesar! Everyone who claims to be a king opposes Caesar!” When Pilate heard these words he brought Jesus outside and sat down on the judgment seat in the place called “The Stone Pavement” (Gabbatha in Aramaic). (Now it was the day of preparation, (14th Nisan) for the Passover (season) about noon.) Pilate said to the Jewish leaders, “Look, here is your king!”

(John 19:15-16; Then they shouted out, “Away with Him! Away with Him! Crucify Him!” Pilate asked, “Shall I crucify your King?” The high priests replied, “We have no king except Caesar!” Then Pilate handed Him over to them to be crucified.”)

The Crucifixion

(John 19:17-24; Jesus carrying His own cross went out to the place called “The Place of the Skull” (in Aramaic Golgotha). There they, (Roman soldiers) crucified Him along with two others, one on each side with Jesus in the middle. Pilate also had a notice written and fastened to the cross, which read: “Jesus the Nazarene, the king of the Jews.” Thus many of the Jewish residents of Jerusalem read this notice, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city and the notice was written in Aramaic, Latin, and Greek.

Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, “Do not write, ‘The king of the Jews’ but rather, ‘This man said, I am king of the Jews.’” Pilate answered, “What I have written, I have written.” Now when the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took His clothes and made four shares, one for each soldier, and the tunic remained. (Now the tunic was seamless, woven from top to bottom as a single piece.) So the soldiers said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but throw dice to see who will get it.” This took place to fulfill the scripture that says, “They divided My garments among them and for My clothing they threw dice.” So the soldiers did these things.

Now standing beside Jesus’ cross were His mother, His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. So when Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved, (John) standing there, He said to His mother, “Woman, look, here is your son. He then said to His disciple, Look, here is your mother!” From that very time the disciple took her into his own home.)

(John 19:28-37; After this Jesus, realizing that by this time everything was completed, said (in order to fulfill the scripture.) “I am thirsty!” A jar full of sour wine was there, so they put a sponge soaked in sour wine on a branch of hyssop and lifted it to His mouth. When He had received the sour wine, Jesus said, “It is completed!” Then He bowed his head and gave up His spirit.

Then, because it was the day of preparation, (Nisan 14) so that the bodies should not stay on the crosses on the Sabbath, (Nisan 15) for that Sabbath was an especially important one. (The first annual Sabbath of the year.) The Jewish leaders asked Pilate to have the victims’ legs broken and the bodies taken down. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the two men who had been crucified with Jesus, first the one and then the other. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and blood and water flowed out immediately. And the person who saw it has testified (and his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth.) so that you also may believe.

For these things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled, “Not a bone of His will be broken.” And again another scripture says, “They will look on the one whom they have pierced.” (Quotes from Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12, Psalms 34:20..

Jesus’ Burial

(John 19:38-42; After this, Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus (but secretly, because he feared the Jewish leaders), asked Pilate if he could remove the body of Jesus. Pilate gave him permission, so he went and took the body away. Nicodemus, the man who had previously come to Jesus at night, accompanied Joseph, carrying a mixture of myrrh and aloes weighing about seventy-five pounds. Then they took Jesus’ body and wrapped it with the aromatic spices, in strips of linen cloth according to Jewish burial customs. Now at the place where Jesus was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden was a new tomb where no one had yet been buried. And so, because it was the Jewish day of preparation (Nisan 14) and the tomb was nearby, they placed Jesus’ body there.)

Practically everyone knows that no particular calendar date falls on the same weekly day each year. Whether the 14th and 15th days of Nisan fell on the sixth and seventh days of the week isn’t important. Catholics and Protestants celebrate the first day of the week as the resurrection day; assuming the year of Jesus’ death, (preparation day) was the seventh day. and assuming Jesus’ resurrection was on the first day of the week.

(John 20:1-9; Now very early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been moved away from the entrance. So she went running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, (John) whom Jesus loved and told them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb and we don’t know where they have put Him!” Then Peter and the other disciple set out to go to the tomb. The two were running together, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent down and saw the strips of linen cloth lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter, who had been following him, arrived and went right into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen cloth lying there and the face cloth, which had been around Jesus’ head, not lying with the strips of linen cloth but rolled up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, came in and he saw and believed. (For they did not yet understand the scripture that Jesus must rise from the dead.) (Remember Jesus had not yet breathed on and opened their minds to understand the scriptures.)

(John 20:10-18; So the disciples went back to their homes. But Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. As she wept, she bent down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting where Jesus’ body had been lying, one at the head and one at the feet. They said to her, Woman, why are you weeping? Mary replied, “They have taken my Lord away, and I do not know where they have put Him!” When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, (Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?) Because she thought He was the gardener, she said to Him, (Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him and I will take Him.) Jesus said to her, (Mary.) She turned and said to Him in Aramaic, “Rabboni” (which means Teacher). Jesus replied, “Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. Go to My brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene came and informed the disciples, “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them what Jesus had said to her.)

(John 20:19-23; On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the disciples had gathered together and locked the doors of the place because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And after He said this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven; if you retain anyone’s sins, they are retained. (Jesus is speaking to His apostles, He isn’t giving the right to forgive sins to certain clergy.)

(John 20:24-31; Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “Unless I see the wounds from the nails in His hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails and put my hand into His side, I will never believe it!” Eight days later the disciples were again together in the house and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and examine My hands. Extend your hand and put it into My side. Do not continue in your unbelief, but believe.” Thomas replied to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are the people who have not seen and yet have believed.

Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.)

This Jesus Created all things as is attested to at Colossians 1:15-20. To believe IN is to believe it all.

God’s Church isn’t an organization, but an organism of called people whose Lord is Jesus. A chosen, recipients of Jesus’ Holy Spirit People seeking to understand all things from His point of view.

About His church?

Jesus reveals God’s character is opposite Satan’s. (1Cor 14:32-33; Indeed, the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets, for God is not characterized by disorder but by peace.) God would be disorderly had He authorized changes to Sabbaths, His calendar, or commandment. He’d be about confusion had He condoned representation of Himself by universal religions, ‘Roman or Orthodox’, multiple protesting groups, or others: but God isn’t about disorder or confusion. God the Father, God the Son, and His called people or at one with each other, His New Covenant, purpose, and coming kingdom.

Jesus’ prayer to Our Father was in the presence of His apostles. They were beginning to understand His purpose more perfectly. Jesus’ prayer continues, now including we called out Believers.

(John 17:20-21; I am not praying only on their ’apostles’  behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in Me through their testimony, that they will all be One, just as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent Me.)

How awesome that Jesus would pray for each future believer. Note the oneness! And so the world would believe God the Father sent God the Son. No room for divided denominations in God’s church family.

(John 17:22-23; The glory You gave to Me I have given to them, that they may be One just as We are One – I in them and You in Me – that they may be completely One, so that the world will know that You sent Me, and You have loved them just as You have loved Me.)

We believe it takes gifted spiritual understanding to digest this oneness. Jesus is saying that He and Our Father loves us and we need to love each other just as He loved us.

(John 17:24; Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, so that they can see My glory that You gave Me because You loved Me before the creation of the world.)

Once the believer’s mind is opened, they see God’s characteristics, His oneness and planning all through scriptural text.

(John 17:25; Righteous Father, even if the world does not know You, I know you, and these men know that You sent Me. I made known Your name to them and I will continue to make it known, so that the love You have loved Me with may be in them, and I may be in them.)

It’s only through His sending His spirit, ‘His comforter - His anointing” that we have this oneness. (Now it’s the evening after the Passover meal.)

(John 18:1-9; When He had said these things, Jesus went out with His disciples across the Kidron Valley, an orchard there, and He and His disciples went into it. (Now, Judas the one who betrayed Him, knew the place because Jesus had met there many times with His disciples.) So Judas obtained a squad of soldiers and some officers of the chief priests and Pharisees. They came to the orchard with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Then Jesus, because He knew everything that was going to happen to Him, came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?” They replied, “Jesus the Nazarene.” He told them, “I am He.” (Now, Judas, the one who betrayed Him, was standing there with them.) So when Jesus said to them, “I am He,” they retreated and fell to the ground. Then Jesus asked them again, “Who are you looking for?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.” Jesus replied, “I told you that I am He. If you are looking for me, let these men go.” He said this to fulfill the word He had spoken, “I have not lost a single one of those whom You gave Me.)

(John 18:10-11; Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, pulled it out and struck the high priest’s slave, cutting off his right ear. (Now the slave’s name was Malchus.) But Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given Me?)

Such Godly love isn’t comprehended in our inherited fleshly nature.

(John 18:12-14; Then the squad of soldiers with their commanding officer and the officers of the Jewish leaders arrested Jesus and tied Him up. They brought Him first to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. (Now it was Caiaphas who had advised the Jewish leaders that it was to their advantage that one man die for the people.)

Peter’s First Denial

(John 18:15-24; Simon Peter and another disciple followed them as they brought Jesus to Annas. (Now the other disciple was acquainted with the high priest, and he went with Jesus into the high priest’s courtyard.) But Simon Peter was left standing outside by the door. So the other disciple who was acquainted with the high priest came out and spoke to the slave girl who watched the door, and brought Peter inside. The girl who was the doorkeeper said to Peter, “You’re not one of this man’s disciples too, are you?” He replied, “I am not.” (Now the slaves and the guards were standing around a charcoal fire they had made, warming themselves because it was cold. Peter also was standing with them, warming himself.

While this was happening, the high priest questioned Jesus about His disciples and about His teaching. Jesus replied, “I have spoken publicly to the world. I always taught in the synagogues and in the temple courts, where all the Jewish people assemble together. I have said nothing in secret. Why do you ask Me? Ask those who heard what I said. They know what I said.” When Jesus had said this, one of the high priest’s officers who stood nearby struck Him on the face and said, “Is that the way you answer the high priest?” Jesus replied, “If I have said something wrong, confirm what is wrong. But if I spoke correctly, why strike Me? Then Annas sent Him, still tied up, to Caiaphas the high priest.

Peter’s Second and Third Denials

(John 18:25-27; Meanwhile Simon Peter was standing in the courtyard warming himself. They said to him, “You aren’t one of His disciples too, are you?” Peter denied it: “I am not!” One of the high priest’s slaves, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, said, “Did I not see you in the orchard with Him?” Then Peter denied it again, and immediately a rooster crowed.) Then Jesus was Brought Before Pilate

(John 18:28-32; Then they brought Jesus from Caiaphas to the Roman governor’s residence. (Now it was very early morning (still the 14thd day of Nisan.) They did not go into the governor’s residence so they would not be ceremonially defiled, but could eat the Passover meal. So Pilate came outside to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?” They replied, “If this man were not a criminal, we would not have handed Him over to you.”

Pilate told them, “Take Him yourselves and pass judgment on Him according to your own law!” The Jewish leaders replied, “We cannot legally put anyone to death.” (This happened to fulfill the word Jesus had spoken when He indicated what kind of death He was going to die.) Then Pilate began to Question Jesus.)

(John 18:33-40; So Pilate went back into the governor’s residence, summoned Jesus, and asked Him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus replied, “Are you saying this on your own initiative, or have others told you about Me?” Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own people and your chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?” Jesus replied, “My kingdom is not from this world. If My kingdom were from this world, My servants would be fighting to keep Me from being handed over to the Jewish authorities. But as it is, My kingdom is not from here.” Then Pilate said, “So you are a king!” Jesus replied, “You say that I am a king. For this reason I was born, and for this reason I came into the world – to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”

Pilate asked, “What is truth?” When he had said this he went back outside to the Jewish leaders and announced, “I find no basis for an accusation against Him. But it is your custom that I release one prisoner for you at the Passover. So do you want me to release for you the king of the Jews?” Then they shouted back, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” (Now Barabbas was a revolutionary.”)

Persecuted

(John 19:1-7; Then Pilate took Jesus and had Him flogged severely. The soldiers braided a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they clothed Him in a purple robe. They came up to Him again and again and said, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they struck Him repeatedly in the face. Again Pilate went out and said to the Jewish leaders, “Look, I am bringing Him out to you, so that you may know that I find no reason for an accusation against Him.” So Jesus came outside, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. Pilate said to them, “Look, here is the man!” When the chief priests and their officers saw Him, they shouted out, “Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate said, “You take Him and crucify Him! Certainly I find no reason for an accusation against Him!” The Jewish leaders replied, “We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He claimed to be the Son of God!)

This world’s system of things is demonically led as was Babylon, the Chaldeans and Sodom and Gomorrah. (Babylon means confusion and the whole world is in a confused state because of people’s hostility toward God.)

Jesus revealed His suffering through Isaiah long before.

(Isaiah 52:13-15; Look, My servant will succeed! He will be elevated, lifted high, and greatly exalted – (just as many were horrified by the sight of You) He was so disfigured He no longer looked like a man; His form was so marred He no longer looked human – so now He will startle many nations.

“Kings will be shocked by His exaltation, for they will witness something unannounced to them, and they will understand something they had not heard about.”) Always study the wholeJesus revealed the following, knowing in advance.

Isaiah 53:6-12; All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the Lord caused the sin of all of us to attack Him. (My sins, and your sins is why Jesus suffered and died.) He was treated harshly and afflicted, but He did not even open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughtering block, like a sheep silent before her shearers, He did not even open His mouth. He was led away after an unjust trial – but who even cared? Indeed He was cut off from the land of the living; because of the rebellion of His own people He was wounded. They intended to bury Him with criminals, but He ended up in a rich man’s tomb, because He had committed no violent deeds, nor had he spoken deceitfully. Though the Lord desired to crush Him and make Him ill, once restitution is made, He will see descendants and enjoy long life, and the Lord’s purpose will be accomplished through Him.  Having suffered, He will reflect on His work, He will be satisfied when He understands what He has done. “My servant will acquit many, for He carried their sins. So I will assign Him a portion with the multitudes, He will divide the spoils of victory with the powerful, because He willingly submitted to death and was numbered with the rebels, when He lifted up the sin of many and intervened on behalf of the rebels.) Pray to understand Godly love.

As were populations at large in Jesus’ day, His apostles couldn’t grasp or bear the spiritual comprehension Jesus was about to give them. Israelites and Jesus’ apostles believed the Messiah’s coming would lead Israel back to their former grandeur. They were looking to the prophecies of Isaiah 22, 35, 51,53, 65, & Jeremiah 31: Ezekiel 37: and Amos 9:11-15. Prophecies that are still going to happen as planned. Spiritual understanding would be gifted to His apostles a little later.

(John 16:12-14; I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when ‘that one’ the (Holy Spirit of truth) comes, ‘that one’ will guide you into all truth. For (it) ’that one’ will not speak on its own authority, but will speak whatever it hears and will tell you what is to come. That one will glorify Me, because it will receive from Me what is mine and will tell ‘reveal’ it to you.)

Without ‘that one’ (the Holy Spirit of Truth) ‘Jesus within us’ we can’t understand spiritual teaching. Later Jesus breathed on and opened His apostles’ minds, as He gives to each recipient of His nature today. (See the workings of His spirit below.)

(John 16:15-16; Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the Spirit will receive from Me what is mine and will tell it to you. In a little while you will see Me no longer; again after a little while, you will see me.) (Jesus pre-planned His appearances after His resurrections.)

(John 16:17-18; Then some of His disciples said to one another, “What is the meaning of what He is saying, In a little while you will not see Me; again after a little while, you will see Me” and, ‘because I am going to the Father’?” So they kept on repeating, “What is the meaning of what He says, ‘In a little while’? We do not understand what He is talking about.)

Naturally they wouldn’t from within their fleshly nature. Nor can we today, from within our fleshly inherited from Adam nature. Each must be, ‘born from above’ to understand spiritual and inherit the kingdom of God.

(John 16:19-23; Jesus could see that they wanted to ask Him about these things, so He said to them, “Are you asking each other about this – that I said, ‘In a little while you will not see me again, after a little while, you will see me?’ I tell you the solemn truth, you will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice; you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into joy.

When a woman gives birth, she has distress because her time has come, but when her child is born, she no longer remembers the suffering because of her joy that a human being has been born into the world. So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. At that time you will ask Me nothing. I tell you the solemn truth, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have not asked for anything in My name. Ask and you will receive it, so that your joy may be complete.)

Asking in Jesus’ name is to ask in His gifted nature, ‘as an ambassador.’ To simply use the words, ‘in Jesus’ name’ isn’t His meaning. Jesus told the people at large and His apostles many things in obscure figures of speech, (in parables) less they not understand at the time! (See Matthew 13:10)

(John 16:25-32; I have told you these things in obscure figures of speech; a time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in obscure figures, but will tell you plainly about the Father. At that time you will ask in My name and I do not say that I will ask the Father on your behalf. For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God. I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.

His disciples said, “Look, now You are speaking plainly and not in obscure figures of speech! Now we know that you know everything and do not need anyone to ask you anything. Because of this we believe that you have come from God.

Jesus replied, “Do you now believe? Look, a time is coming – and has come – when you will be scattered, each one to his own home and I will be left alone. Yet I am not alone, because My Father is with Me.”)

Jesus is asking, “are you sure you now believe?” knowing their reaction when He would be arrested that coming Passover evening.

(John 16:33; I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.) (From Jesus’ re-creating, to His return and New Jerusalem coming down; its all been preplanned.)

(John 17:1-2; When Jesus had finished saying these things, He looked upward to heaven and said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify Your Son, so that your Son may glorify You – just as You have given Him authority over all humanity, so that He may give eternal life to everyone you have given Him.) (Again we see that “eternal life is to people the Father gives Jesus.” God the Father calls, opens understanding, grants repentance and gives us to Jesus for deliverance.)

(John 17:3-5; Now, this is eternal life – that they know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you sent. I glorified You on earth by completing the work you gave Me to do. And now, Father, glorify Me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created.)

Even without the scriptural text of John 1:1-5, Col 1:15-20 and Hebrews 1, this text confirms to Believers, that Jesus was with the Father before creation.

(John 17:6-9; I have revealed Your name (nature – characteristics) to the men you gave Me out of the world. They belonged to You, and You gave them to Me and they have obeyed Your word. Now they understand that everything you have given Me comes from You, because I have given them the words You have given Me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from You, and they believed that you sent Me. I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given Me, because they belong to You.)

These apostles and each one gifted to Believe in Jesus, belonged to God the Father before being given to Jesus. (Predestined.) Jesus wasn’t praying for those not yet called. (Do we see how it is that God the Father and God the Son are One?)

Still praying to the Father, Jesus prays; (John 17:10-11; Everything I have belongs to You, and everything You have belongs to Me, and I have been glorified by them. I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them safe in Your name (nature) that You have given Me, so that they may be One just as we are One.)

At one, is the (togetherness principle) God ordained for His kingdom, His family, the church and Jesus’ husband, wife relationship with His church. Thus God the Father and God the Son are One; His family of literal children are One; God’s church is One and when He ordains a marriage, the husband and wife are One.

Still praying to the Father; (John 17:12-19; When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in Your name, that You have given Me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled. But now I am coming to You and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience My joy completed in themselves. I have given them Your Word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that You keep them safe from the evil one.

They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world. (Why? They’re One with Me.) Set them apart (sanctify) them’ in the truth; your Word is truth. Just as You sent Me into the world, so I sent them into the world. And I set Myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart.)

To be set apart, is to be sanctified. Called out Believers IN are a chosen, set apart, sanctified people as were the Israelites. (Israel and we are sanctified, chosen by God the Father and given to Jesus. Set apart for God’s purpose, belonging to God as literal children, ‘heirs.’

After the anointing that comes with salvation, we Believe IN Jesus Christ as living and making each a temple of His spirit. (John 14:20-21; You will know at that time that I am in My Father and you are in Me and I am in you. The person who has My commandments and obeys them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.)

By examining and comparing scripture to scripture we see that Jesus’ sending an ‘advocate, comforter or an anointing’ is His Holy Spirit - His nature. Peter was given to understand ‘Jesus‘ spirit dwelling in ‘foreigners’ – gentiles’ was the same as His spirit in the Jerusalem Church of God.

(1Peter 2:9-12; You (gentile Christians) are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of His own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. You once were not a people, but now you are God’s people. You were shown no mercy, but now you have received mercy. Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles to keep away from fleshly desires that do battle against the soul, and maintain good conduct among the non-Christians, so that though they now malign you as wrongdoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God when He appears.)

Summation: (a) Unbelievers aren’t capable of yearning for spiritual understanding, as are believers IN Jesus. (b) God the Father calls and chooses. (c) Growing up to salvation and experiencing God’s kindness amounts to our being gifted to recognize our state of being, our inherited from Adam nature. (d) The called, are built, a spiritual house to offer spiritual sacrifices. (e) Jesus is the priceless Cornerstone, rejected by the world. (f) Unbelievers are destined to trip. (g) Jesus’ followers are chosen to be God’s own, a royal priesthood - a holy nation. (h) Christians believe because of the Father’s mercy! (i) In large part we can expect to be maligned and ostracized by established religions.)

Jesus’ teaches the same through Peter and John.

(John 15:1-4; I am the true vine and My Father is the gardener. He takes away every branch that does not bear fruit in Me. He prunes every branch that bears fruit so that it will bear more fruit. You are clean already because of the Word that I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.)

Christians Believe IN the Lord God as did Abraham. Spirit led not to lean to OUR own understanding; that is, ‘not to trust our own fleshly intellect!’ (Beliefs not produced in Jesus, is what worldly religions offer. Jesus’ truth purifies believers IN His Word! In John’s first letter to converted people he gets more to the point. (Study the whole.)

(1John 3:18-20; Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth. And by this we will know that we are of the truth and will convince our conscience in His presence, that if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience and knows all things.)

(John 15:5-8; I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from Me you can accomplish nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like a branch and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and are burned up. (Remember Revelations 21:8?) If you remain in Me and My Words remain in you, ask whatever you want, and it will be done for you. My Father is honored by this, that you bear much fruit and show that you are My disciples.) (God loves believers and unbelievers will ultimately be thrown out and burned up.)

(John 15:9-12; “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; remain in My love. If you obey My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you, and your joy may be complete. My commandment is this – to love one another just as I have loved you.)

(Just as I have loved you is repeated several times. Jesus is the Shepherd that gave His life for His sheep. His Commandment, does not nullify the original ten but magnifies them spiritually.

(John 15:13-15; No one has greater love than this – that one lays down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because the slave does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because I have revealed to you everything I heard from My Father.) (Accept it; believe it, NO one can understand without God’s revealing!)

Theology schooling adds nothing to spiritual comprehension! Paul continued to refer to himself as Jesus’ slave. We each should be willingly proud to be His slave, because He chose us.

(John 15:16-17; You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. This I command you – to love one another.) (Jesus’ sacrificial death on our behalf defines the love we are to have for one another.)

Jesus spoke of His death as a commandment received from His Father at John 10:18 & 14:31 (It isn’t the degree or intensity of our love for one another that Jesus is referring to, when He introduces by comparison ‘His own death.’) John makes this clear in his first letter.

(1John 3:16-17; We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down His life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians. But whoever has the world’s possessions and sees his fellow Christian in need and shuts off his compassion against him, how can the love of God reside in such a person.?)

John expresses his own love while quoting Jesus’ teaching us how to love. I pray that we can understand the spiritual fulfillment of God’s imputing His spirit to our minds; ‘making us AT ONE with Himself.’ When we’re gifted with a desire to be AT ONE with Jesus; we’re seeking to know His Ways.

If our beliefs and manner of living isn’t hated by the world, we’re likely of the world. We need to ask, “is Jesus my master?” Jesus is speaking all believers and particularly to His apostles.

(John 15:18-21; If the world hates you, be aware that it hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you do not belong to the world, but I chose you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you. Remember what I told you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they obeyed My word, they will obey yours too. But they will do all these things to you on account of My name, because they do not know the one who sent Me.) How can our communities love us, if we teach Jesus’ truth? We need to understand that it was the Lord God Jesus, communing with Adam, Noah, Abraham and the prophets. (Review Col 1:15-20)

Jesus coming and revealing the Father makes for no excuse.

(John 15:22-24; If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. But they no longer have any excuse for their sin. The one who hates Me hates My Father too. If I had not performed among them the miraculous deeds that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen the deeds and have hated both Me and My Father.)

Remember Jesus’ doing miracles through Moses before and after delivering Israel from Egypt?

To His apostles particularly Jesus is saying; (John 15:25; Now this happened to fulfill the word that is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without reason.’ When the ‘advocate, comforter or anointing comes’ whom I will send you from the Father – the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father – that one will testify about Me and you also will testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.)

Not only was His apostles chosen, each believer is chosen.

(John 16:1-17; I have told you all these things so that you will not fall away. They will put you out of the synagogue, yet a time is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God. They will do these things because they have not known the Father or Me. But I have told you these things so that when their time comes, you will remember that I told you about them. “I did not tell you these things from the beginning because I was with you. But now I am going to the One who sent Me, and not one of you is asking Me, ‘Where are you going?’ Instead your hearts are filled with sadness because I have said these things to you. But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, “the advocate, helper, comforter, anointing, holy spirit” will not come to you, but if I go, I will send that one “it” to you. And when it comes, it will prove the world wrong concerning sin and righteousness and judgment – concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; concerning righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will see me no longer; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.)

(Lawlessness – sin, began when Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord God Jesus, their Creator. Cain, Abel and each of us inherited a hostile to God nature that must be turned from in order to inherit immortality. Jesus spoke specifically to the generation witnessing Him.

(Matt 23:34-36; For this reason I am sending you prophets and wise men and experts in the law, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town, so that on you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. I tell you the truth, this generation will be held responsible for all these things!)

(Heb 12:25-29; Take care not to refuse the One who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the One who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the One who warns from heaven? Then His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven too.” Now this phrase “once more” indicates the removal of what is shaken, that is, of created things, so that what is unshaken may remain. So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe. For our God is indeed a devouring fire.

For accurate understanding we need to review the word “advocate” it’s also translated “counselor. helper, comforter and anointing. (John 14:15-17; If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate ‘helper, counselor, comforter, anointing or chrisma’ to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see Him ’God’ or know Him. But you know Him because He resides with you and will be in you.” (Advocate is not a noun: should not, be capitalized.)

Jesus said the advocate, is gifted, to be with its partaker forever and is “the spirit of truth” which is Jesus. From old pagans like Aristotle, others with agendas and Satan’s lie regarding immortality the idea of God being three persons is developed. Depending on the translator’s opinion, (helper, counselor, comforter, anointing and charity) is used. (The Greek “Paraclete” and from the Greek “paraklhto” doesn’t find an appropriate English translation, a very difficult task, no single English word has exactly the same range of meaning as the Greek word for. “comforter - advocate.” (In other words to zero in on “advocate” and use the noun rendering ‘Him’ is bad translating.

Jesus simply defines advocate as, the spirit of truth. Jesus is truth, so let’s think “Jesus’ rather, Many scriptural text defines Holy Spirit as, ’the spirit of truth or - power. (Acts 1:8; But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,) AND at 2John he defined what’s received after conversion as, “an anointing.”

(2John 2:27; Now as for you, the anointing that you received from Him resides in you and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie.) Just as it ’the anointing’ has taught you, you reside in Him.) An anointing is received when we’re fathered by God. The Greek word for anointing used in 2John is similar to the English “chrisma.”

For people insisting that advocate should be a noun, its Jesus Christ that’s in  each believer. Allow Jesus’ apostle Paul’s words.

(2Cor 13:5-6; Put yourselves to the test to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize regarding yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you – unless, indeed, you fail the test! And I hope that you will realize that we have not failed the test!) (Paul gives us more.)

(Col 1:25-28; I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship from God – given to me for you – in order to complete the word of God, that is, “the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations” but has now been revealed to His Saints. God wanted to make known to them the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ. Toward this goal I also labor, struggling according to His power that powerfully works in me.)

The comforter - advocate is, Christ Himself imputed, when we’re fathered by God the Father. He powerfully works in us, and truth is revealed to His Saints.

Now John recorded Jesus’ Words regarding His putting His laws in our minds and hearts. It is the power of His spirit of truth. We may think of that power as an advocate, helper, comforter, an anointing etc. Its Jesus’ spirit imputed to believers, making each a Temple of His spirit. So, believers in God love His Ways, “His laws.” Look back to verses 16 & 17. Jesus said; “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to be with you forever –the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot accept, because the world does not see Him or know Him.

Compare Jesus’ personal teaching to that through His apostles.

(John 14:27-31; Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage. You heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe. I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this world ‘Satan’ is coming. He has no power over Me, but I am doing just what the Father commanded Me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Get up, let us go from here.) (a) Jesus promises to give Believers IN, His peace. (b) Not a temporary peace, the world may have. (c) Do not, be distressed I am coming back to you. (d) Because God the Father is greater than God the Son, we should be glad about the Son’s going away. (e) The evidence is that He foretold His ascension to help we Believers IN. (f) The ruler of this earth, ‘Satan’ has no power over Jesus.

How is it that religions professing to believe IN Jesus, do not take Jesus’ own words seriously? “I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this world ‘Satan’ is coming.” So the question? How many people live in the manner the god of this world dictates?

This chapter fourteen is dynamite for Believers. Believers IN Jesus have gifted faith in His Word, His Way and His promises. True Christianity is, believing IN, not “a belief that” not a movement or something a person can join.

We can choose to join a movement, a denomination or church, by association, ‘usually by agreeing to follow their doctrine’ but only God can miraculously make one a Believers IN and follower of Jesus.

No one can come to Him unless God chooses. Worldly Christendom teaches, it’s an individual’s choice. Jesus teaches, ‘the Father chooses’ and He’s the Alpha & Omega, the ‘all knowing.’ God the Father gives Jesus true worshipers.

Heavenly Father thank You for revelation, spiritual teaching and preserving Your printed Word. Thank You for teaching that Your Word purifies. In Jesus’ holy name we pray and praise You. AMEN

Jesus’ apostle John recorded Jesus’ Words regarding the ruler of this world. (John 14:29; I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this  world ‘Satan’ is coming.) Satan had been on earth deceiving since creation, but Jesus is speaking about Satan’s coming to distort His purpose and message. True to Jesus’ prophecy; as soon as He ascended, Satan began sending false teachers to infiltrate Gods called out people, ‘spiritual Israelites.’ World wide divisionary indoctrinations is Satan’s demonic purpose.

Consider how successful Satan has been. By palming himself and followers off as angels of light, he has the whole world in subjected confusion. Naturally each group say, “yes, all but us.”

After Jesus’ ascension He began revealing and calling gentiles to worship Him in sincerity and truth. This was surprising God’s Jerusalem church. The first recorded conversion was Cornelius and his family. After their conversion the apostles explained to the church, how the holy spirit witnessed to Cornelius’s family as it had to the many on that Pentecost after Jesus’ ascension.

After Peter stopped speaking, James replied, (Brothers, listen to me. Simeon has explained how God first concerned Himself to select from among the Gentiles a people for His name. The words of the prophets agree with this, as it is written, ‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the fallen tent of David; I will rebuild its ruins and restore it, so that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord, namely, all the Gentiles I have called to be My own, says the Lord, who makes these things known from long ago. Acts 15:13-18) James is referring to Amos 9: (After the time of the gentiles, God is going to restore Israel to formally held lands.)

Cornelius and family were chosen, called out to obedience that results in an anointing and righteousness. It was by God’s grace that they were chosen to began practicing, Jesus’ righteousness. Consider Jesus’ apostle Paul’s explanation.

(Romans 6:15-16; What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Absolutely not! Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?)

The god of this world has people enslaves to this world’s system. Consider the paganism worldly Christendom is practicing and who that perpetrator is? We know Jesus’ apostle Paul was an apostle to God’s called out people. About himself Paul said, “I was a Pharisee of Pharisees until Jesus revealed Himself, when I was on my way to Damascus to do more persecuting.

(“So I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. But get up and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this reason, to designate you in advance as a servant and witness to the things you have seen and to the things in which I will appear to you. I will rescue you from your own people “the Israelites” and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you to open their eyes so that they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Acts 26:15-18) )

Seemingly, many think believing that Jesus lived and died for the sins of the world is to Understand & believe IN Jesus is gifted to those called to be Christ Like, miraculously gifted with a nature change from that inherited from Adam to that inherited from believing in Jesus. Jesus said this is being ‘born from aboveexplaining to Nicodemus; Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So, it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:7-7) That’s being made ‘Christ Like” At one with Jesus and one another. His church isn’t divided, has never been and will never be.

Most seem to think, believing Jesus came to save the world is enough to be saved, or perhaps knowing the historical account of Jesus’ birth, resurrection, and ascension saves. Such requires no action; but believing in Jesus requires the action of turning from the former life practices to new life in Christ Jesus. Lovingly seeking Jesus’ Way and obeying from a love of God outlook.

Jesus’ good news, ‘gospel’ is about living Jesus’ example, ‘believing in His return, His bringing peace on earth,’ and Jesus being all He’s manifested to be. Review what He’s manifested to be at John 1:1-5 and Hebrews 1: these two text agree with (Colossians 1:15-20; He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by Him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through Him and for Him. He himself is before all things and all things are held together in Him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that He Himself may become first in all things. For God (the Father) was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in the Son and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross – through Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.)

Jesus’ gospel includes Satan being allowed to deceive the whole world, before His return; and except time be shortened, no flesh will be saved alive. Jesus is going to bind Satan and make knowledge of Himself, and God our Father known to the world. Revealing that He is the resurrection, truth and Light. At millennia’s end ‘Jesus’ enemies including death will be no more.’ Then God the Father comes down with New Jerusalem.

Jesus tells what we’re to expect before His return.

(Mark 13:19-20; For in those days there will be suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, or ever will happen. And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the Elect, whom He chose, He has cut them short.) AND (Matthew 24:22; ‘if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the Elect those days will be cut short.)

The populations are deceived but, Jesus’ Way people are not. Jesus’ way is not a religion, it is The Way spelled out in His ten commandments.

His Sabbaths foreshadow: His planning, saving, redeeming, delivering and judgment. A time of rest from demonic deceptions.

(Revelations 21:5-8; And the One seated on the throne said: “Look! I am making all things new!” Then He said to me, “Write it down, because these words are reliable and true.” He also said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of life. The one who conquers. (overcomes) will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.)

Satan camouflages immortality and Israel’s physical resurrection. His lie is, “all are born to live forever someplace.” All worldly religions teach some form of his lie, “a born with immortality doctrine.” Jesus taught and inspired His apostles to teach, “Immortality is gifted to called, repentant of sins followers of Jesus.”

Truth magnifies our responsibility. Truth insults worldly religions because it’s in people’s nature to make imaginary gods that agrees with their developing ideas and concepts. So, people have been deciding for self, ‘what’s right, wrong, good and evil.’ From the time of Adam and Eve, ‘each clan began imagining and developing gods to fit their concepts. Worshiping images, the sun, zodiac, and imaginary deities.

God gives us the history of where such thinking led people before the flood of Noah’s day. The direction all people are led when they rely on their own or some organization’s thinking, rather than looking to our Creator and His commandments. That result is many religions.

Every child goes through imaginary development, in part based on parental, societal and practicing customs. God gave the Israelites His commandments for their good; teaching them how to demonstrate love toward Him and one another. To help these fleshly minded people control their imaginations; God was adamant that they write these rules of conduct in places to be reviewed.

Before Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, all societies had developed their own imagined deities. Jesus’ apostles referred to these societies as pagan. Paganism is the practice of altering God’s ways. We may not realize it clearly now, but God has reasons for allowing people go the way that seems right, rather than making them prove and live His Way.

The holy scriptures teach clearly, that God is allowing Satan to be the god of this world, leading this world’s system of things. Satan knew how to appeal to Eve, then Adam, he knew their created desires; the appeal of deciding for themselves about good and evil. Every child is born with that desire; it’s why little children need responsible parental discipline and training. A truth from creation and is harder in this age. As before the flood, the whole world is accepting ways that are an abomination to our Creator. We need God’s spiritual revelations and gifted strength to take on the responsibility of rearing children. Parents do insurmountable harm to their children’s imaginations, when teaching Santa, Easter Bunnies, imaginary ghosts, and Halloween. These and more customs play into Satan’s deceptions, like religious song lyrics, images and paintings, shape children’s outlook and concept of God. All play into Satan’s indoctrinating purpose. Jesus’ apostle Paul’s instructions to the Corinthians applies to all ages.

(2Corinthians 6:14-18; Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar? Or what does a Believer share in common with an unbeliever? And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we “Believers IN” are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” Therefore “come out from their midst, and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome youand I will be a father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the All-Powerful Lord.) (Paul’s teaching come from revelation, inspiration and from his gifted understanding of Leviticus 26:12, Jeremiah 32:38, Ezekiel 37:27 and Isaiah 52:11)

Believers IN are spirit led to understand, ‘denominations choosing their own doctrines’ is not God’s Way. Identifying religious leaders for what they are is important, because they’re of this world’s system of things. Some pattern their hierarchical image by what they imagine a priest in Moses’ day looked like. Others think it enough that their hierarchy, wear their collar backward or dress in customary business attire. Jesus and His apostles did none of these; thus Jesus was able to escape in crowds of people.

A onetime through the Holy Scriptures teaches any thinking individual that the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, prophets and Jesus’ apostles did not identify with modern religious thinking. The true concept is, ‘Jesus’ New Covenant foundation is based on His Old Covenant principals.’ Principles seeming to escape modern thinking.

Believers IN are led to understand; Jesus was first preached by His apostles from their personal witness, gifted understanding of Old Covenant scriptures and revelation, led to discern the balance between Old and New Covenants from God’s point of view. Compare Jesus’ inspired Words at Matthew 5:17-20, and Hebrews 8:7-13.

Believer IN always ask in the spirit of Jesus’ will and love; never desiring things that aren’t within His will, mindful of belonging to Jesus as a bride, He does allow things to happen for our good and learning. Sometimes our answer to prayer request is, NOT NOW. Hope & knowing faith are gifts, but knowing faith is when God’s will is revealed before we ask. Allow Jesus’ apostle Paul’s input.

(1Corinthians 12:1-3; With regard to spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans you were often led astray by speechless idols, however you were led. So I want you to understand that no one speaking by the spirit of God says; Jesus is cursed, and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.)

Most Believers were living pagans life styles, prior to conversion, prior to God’s revealing Himself. Before conversion, most were led by this world’s system of things; this world’s evolving and condoning pagan practices. Then our gods were imaginary, learning from other people’s words and examples. Then influenced by this world’s god; Satan. Through Paul, Jesus teaches; NO ONE believes IN and can say “Jesus is Lord,” until God reveals Himself by His spirit!

(1Cor 12:4-7; Now, there are different gifts, but the same spirit. And there are different ministries, but the same Lord. And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone, to each person the manifestation of the spirit is given for the benefit of all.) Whatever our gift; it isn’t for our private use.

(1Cor 12:8-11; For one person is given through the spirit, the message of wisdom, and another the message of knowledge according to the same spirit, to another, faith by the same spirit, and to another gifts of healing, by the one spirit, to another performance of miracles, to another prophecy and to another discernment of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. It is one and the same spirit, distributing as God decides to each person, who produces all these things.)

Through His spirit, God makes us at one with Himself and one another. Spiritual gifts aren’t theological, not something a person can learn or conjure up!

Unbelieving people, pagans, handle their fleshly learned talents and gifts from their inherited Adam’s nature point of view. NOT realizing intellectual talents are God gifted to benefit all. Believers IN, are gifted to compare spiritual to spiritual, discern and practice God’s revealed truths.

Israel was taught through the law and God’s prophets.

Two thousand plus years ago, Israelites particularly were expecting the Messiah. They knew from prophecy that He would come out of David’s ascendance. It was the Lord God ‘Jesus’ inspiring Isaiah’s prophecy about His second coming and naming David‘s father Jesse.

(Isa 11:1-5; A shoot will grow out of Jesse’s root stock, a bud will sprout from his roots. The Lord’s spirit will rest on Him – a spirit of extraordinary wisdom, a spirit that provides the ability to execute plans, a spirit that produces absolute loyalty to the Lord. He will take delight in obeying the Lord. He will not judge by mere appearances, or make decisions on the basis of hearsay. He will treat the poor fairly, and make right decisions for the downtrodden of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and order the wicked to be executed. Justice will be like a belt around His waist, integrity will be like a belt around His hips.) (From Net Bible translators we have the following regarding Isaiah‘s prophecy.)

This text mentions David’s father Jesse, instead of the great king Himself. Done for rhetorical reasons suggesting a new David, not a disappointing Davidic descendant. Other prophets call the coming ideal Davidic king; David, or picture Him as the second coming of David, as it were. (See Jeremiah 30:9; Ezekiel 34:23-24; 37:24-25; Hosea 3:5; and Micah 5:2.)

Jesus was born through the human lineage of king David. It was the Lord God ’Jesus’ who raised up David, and gave him Israel to govern, thus, foreshadowing His millennia kingdom. The same Lord God re-created this earth, created Adam and Eve in His and God the Father’s image and likeness. They planned Jesus’ first and second coming, ‘a thousand year reign of righteous judgment before New Jerusalem’s coming down with God the Father.’ May we all be led to worship this God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; whose name the Lord God changed to Israel. The same Lord God gave Moses the law, and is the Advocate – Comforter and spirit of truth for believers in Jesus.

(John 14:15-17; If you love Me, you will obey My commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another “Advocate - Comforter” to be with you forever – the spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept, because it does not see the spirit of truth or know the spirit of truth. But you, (gifted to believe IN people) know the spirit of truth because it resides with you and will be in you.) The advocate - comforter is Jesus’ spirit of truth. The advocate - comforter is not a he nor an individual, but Jesus’ spirit. People of the world, who aren’t called to be Believers IN, cannot accept Jesus as the spirit of truth, because they don’t see or know Jesus.

Believers know God the Father and God the Son through the imputation of His spirit residing within the mind. The ‘advocate – comforter’ is Jesus’ gifted spirit of truth. Recipients of Jesus’ spirit of truth are, God fathered, - begotten by God, thus making each follower of Jesus a ‘literal child of God.’

Worldly religious followers yield to the Cain mentality, thinking it okay to pick and choose how to serve God, which commandments to obey etc. Such thinking demonstrates unbelief. It’s the same mindset toward God, Eve, Adam, Cain, Nimrod, Baal and denominational divided preachers displayed.

(John 14:18-21; I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you. In a little while the world will not see Me any longer, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live too. You will know at that time that I am in My Father and you are in Me and I am in you. The person who has My commandments and obeys them is the one who loves Me. The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.) Don’t miss the word ‘REVEAL’ it’s the only way we can know Jesus.

When God opens our understanding; His truths jump out at us throughout the Holy Scriptures. To called believers, Jesus said; ‘Because I live you will live too.’ Its God gifted immortality “defined!” Immortality is only through Jesus.

Jesus’ resurrecting Lazarus was not to immortality, nor was the bodily resurrections of many Saints after Jesus’ resurrection. (See Matt 27:51-53) Now, Lazarus and the Saints will be in the first resurrection, return with Jesus.

Second resurrections are prophesied, which also aren’t to immortality. (See Ezekiel 37) Remember Jesus’ Words through Paul, ‘all Israel will be saved.’ (Rom 11:25-27; For, I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: A partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; He will remove ungodliness from Jacob, and this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins.) Quote from (Isa 27:9; “So in this way Jacob’s sin will be forgiven, and this is how they will show they are finished sinning: They will make all the stones of the altars like crushed limestone, and the Asherah poles and the incense altars will no longer stand.)

(Jer 31:20-37; Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the Lord, affirm it! I will say, ‘My dear children of Israel, keep in mind the road you took when you were carried off. Mark off in your minds the landmarks. Make a mental note of telltale signs marking the way back. Return, my dear children of Israel.

Return to these cities of yours. How long will you vacillate, you who were once like an unfaithful daughter? For I, the Lord, promise to bring about something new on the earth, something as unique as a woman protecting a man!’

The Lord has made a promise to Israel. He promises it as the One who fixed the sun to give light by day and the moon and stars to give light by night. He promises it as the One who stirs up the sea so that its waves roll. He promises it as the One who is known as the Lord who rules over all. The Lord affirms, “The descendants of Israel will not cease forever to be a nation in My sight. That could only happen if the fixed ordering of the heavenly lights were to cease to operate before Me.” The Lord says, “I will not reject all the descendants of Israel because of all that they have done. That could only happen if the heavens above could be measured or the foundations of the earth below could all be explored,”

says the Lord.)

The ultimate fate of all who refuse to believers IN Jesus is an eternal second death. Afterward, death is to be eliminated. Jesus had Paul explain. (Study 1Corinthians 15:26) Jesus is to be obeyed  lovingly, to say we love and not obey, makes us liars.

(John 14:22-23; “Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said Lord; what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?” Jesus replied; “If anyone loves Me, he will obey My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and take up residence with him.)

WE WILL COME, and take up residence! How? By the imputation of His Spirit of truth residing in us. By His fathering, His begetting of us! How does this happen? Jesus explained; (“Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must ALL be born from above.’ The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:7-8)

(John 14:24-26; The person who does not love Me does not obey My Words. And the word you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. “I have spoken these things while staying with you. But the ‘Advocate - Comforter - the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you.) Again Jesus identifies “advocate as the Holy Spirit.” It’s the Believer’s Teacher.” It’s why we should call no person “Teacher or Father” when referring gifted understanding particularly. Now back to the subject of judging.

If we know to obey Jesus, communicate His Way to others; we cannot in and of ourselves judge the degree of spiritual penetration, or whether God is calling. It’s imperative that we love individuals, but not each individual’s way of living. (We love unbeliever, less by comparison to their way. Thus, refuse to condone lawless practices. Christian duty is to separates from pagan societies at large. Practicing Jesus’ righteousness puts people on the outside of, political correctness and this world’s system of things.

Christians are gifted with a desire to be obedient, search the scriptures, prove all things, compare spiritual text, meditate on and practice Jesus’ Ways. That don’t make us judges. Jesus’ command is that we love fellow Christians as He loves us! That’s practicing mercy, kindness, patience and love toward one another, even others who, by their practices, don’t seem to know Jesus’ Way? As with a child’s maturing; followers of Jesus grow spiritually as God shapes, trains and disciplines. Shun those who blatantly disobey Jesus’ Ways. Fleshly minded people will debate Jesus’ Ways, to their shame.
