God identifies Himself, Holy Ways & Seasons, chapter 7

To: People being made temples of God’s Spirit. 4/17/22, God’s 1st Mo. Nisan 16, 5,782 until sunset.

Followers of Jesus, whose minds He opens understands from last study that Christians are Spiritual Israelites, have the protective benefits God gave Jacob when changing his name to Israel. His church is the bride and wife of Jesus as He reveals at Revelations 3:9-14 AND Hebrews 12.

On the pagan Roman calendar YESTERDAY “the Sabbath” is named after the planet “Saturn” AND today is SUNDAY, ‘NAMED AFTER THE SUN’ it’s the first day of the week, Nisan 16, and early evening, would mark (Jesus second night and second day in the tomb.) Tomorrow early evening marks the time Jesus would have resurrected, and the next morning the date His tomb was found empty. Believers trust the Holy Scriptural text, ‘not denominations.’

To the Israel and through Moses Jesus said; (Deut 7:6-7; For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. He has chosen you to be His people, prized above all others on the face of the earth. It is not because you were more numerous than all the other peoples that the LORD favored and chose you – for in fact you were the least numerous of all peoples.) AND (Deut 14:2-7; For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. He has chosen you to be His people, prized above all others on the face of the earth. You must not eat any forbidden thing. These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, the ibex, the gazelle, the deer, the wild goat, the antelope, the wild oryx, and the mountain sheep. You may eat any animal that has hooves divided into two parts and that chews the cud.” However, you may not eat the following animals among those that chew the cud or those that have divided hooves: the camel, the hare, and the rock badger. (Although they chew the cud, they do not have divided hooves and are therefore ritually impure to you). ISRAELITES AND CHRISTIANS ARE ONE TO GOD.

(Psalms 24:9-22; Fear the LORD, you chosen people of his, for those who fear him lack nothing! Even young lions sometimes lack food and are hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Come children! Listen to me! I will teach you what it means to fear the LORD. Do you want to really live? Would you love to live a long, happy life? Then make sure you don’t speak evil words or use deceptive speech! Turn away from evil and do what is right! Strive for peace and promote it! The LORD pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help. But the LORD opposes evildoers and wipes out all memory of them from the earth. The godly cry out and the LORD hears; he saves them from all their troubles. The LORD is near the brokenhearted; he delivers those who are discouraged. The godly face many dangers, but the LORD saves them from each one of them.) (SPEAKING OF JESUS; He protects all his bones; not one of them is broken.) Evil people self-destruct; those who hate the godly are punished. The LORD rescues his servants; all who take shelter in him escape punishment.)

LIKEWISE to CHRISTIANS Jesus says through His apostle Peter:

(1Peter 2:9-25; But you are a chosen race, royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. You once were not a people, but now you are God’s people. You were shown no mercy, but now you have received mercy. Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles to keep away from fleshly desires that do battle against the soul, and maintain good conduct among the non-Christians, so that though they now malign you as wrongdoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God when he appears. (HE KNEW CHRISTIANS WOULD BE SCATTERED AMONG THE WORLD) So he said; Be subject to every human institution for the Lord’s sake, whether to a king as supreme or to governors as those he commissions to punish wrongdoers and praise those who do good. For God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good. Live as free people, not using your freedom as a pretext for evil, but as God’s slaves. Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king. Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and gentle, but also to those who are perverse. For this finds God’s favor, if because of conscience toward God someone endures hardships in suffering unjustly. For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God. For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in his steps. He committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth. When he was maligned, he did not answer back; when He suffered, He threatened no retaliation, but committed Himself to God who judges justly. He Himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we may cease from sinning and live for righteousness. By His wounds you were healed. For you were going astray like sheep but now you have turned back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.)

Jesus’ apostle Paul wrote the book of Hebrews and to the Roman Church of God he wrote; (Rom 3:1-4;Therefore what advantage does the Jew have, or what is the value of circumcision? Actually, there are many advantages. First of all, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God? Absolutely not! Let God be proven true, and every human being shown up as a liar, just as it is written: so that you will be justified in your words and will prevail when you are judged.)

God’s Oracles are perpetual for His people and Jesus knew His giving the Jews responsibility for their keeping would cause much of the world to persecute them. They will be rewarded and their persecutors punished for this evil. (Jeremiah 23:1-8; The LORD says, “The leaders of my people are sure to be judged. They were supposed to watch over My people like shepherds watch over their sheep. But they are causing my people to be destroyed and scattered. So the LORD God of Israel has this to say about the leaders who are ruling over His people: “You have caused My people to be dispersed and driven into exile. You have not taken care of them. I, the LORD, affirm it! Then I Myself will regather those of My people who are still alive from all the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their homeland. They will greatly increase in number. I will install rulers over them who will care for them. Then they will no longer need to fear or be terrified. None of them will turn up missing. I, the LORD, promise it!

“I, the LORD, promise that a new time will certainly come when I will raise up for them a righteous branch, a descendant of David. He will rule over them with wisdom and understanding and will do what is just and right in the land. Under His rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name He will go by: ‘The LORD has provided us with justice.’

“So I, the LORD, say: ‘A new time will certainly come. People now affirm their oaths with “I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the people of Israel out of Egypt.” But at that time they will affirm them with “I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them.” At that time they will live in their own land.’”)

Remember Jesus’ promise to the twelve; (Matt 19:27-28; Then Peter said to Him, “Look, we have left everything to follow You! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth: In the age when all things are renewed, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.)
