Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life, “only in Him is the absence of superstition regarding religion.” All religions apart from His truth are demonically inspired. Jesus’ Way is laid out by His commandments, “it’s the moral code good for all humanity.” Jesus’ Truth is His Word and The Life hinges on believing IN Jesus.
All except those to whom God calls, reveals Himself and leads are allowed to go the way that seems right to their instinctive fleshly nature inherited from Adam. Thus, manufactured gods and doctrines. Allow Jesus’ explanation through Paul. (As always study the whole.)
(Romans 8:5-11; For those who live according to the flesh have their outlook shaped by the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit have their outlook shaped by the things of the Spirit. For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace, because the outlook of the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to the law of God, nor is it able to do so. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, ‘Believers IN’ however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, this person does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is your life because of “Jesus’” righteousness. Moreover, if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, the One who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies alive through His Spirit who lives in you.) Eternal life is only through God’s gifted spirit.
(Rom 8:12-17; So then, brothers and sisters, we ’Believers’ are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh (for if you live according to the flesh, you will die), but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father. (God’s Spirit bears witness to our spirit that we are God’s children.) And if children, then heirs (namely, heirs of God and also fellow heirs with Christ) – if indeed we suffer with Him so we may also be glorified with Him.) (See Gal 3:29.)
One of the many superstitions brought forward is the heaven/hell doctrine adapted from the pagan god Molech. (See Jeremiah 7;31, 19:5-6 & 32:35.) Many translations use hell, rather that the correct ‘Gehenna’, which is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew words (ge Hinnom) (Valley of Hinnom). This was the valley along the south side of Jerusalem. In Old Testament times it was used for human sacrifices to the pagan god Molech and came to be used as a place where human excrement and rubbish were disposed of and burned. In the inter testamental period, it came to be used symbolically as the place of divine punishment, adapted from Molech paganism. (See 1z En. 27:2, 90:26; 4 Ezra 7:36).
(Jesus’ gospel is about God the Father’s calling, revelations, born from above viva His spirit gifted, a resurrection to the spiritual likeness of Jesus, Jesus’ apostles and Saints ruling with Jesus, Israel’s deliverance to borders promised Abraham, a second death to those described at Revelations 21:8, New Jerusalem’s coming down with God the Father and more.)Individual followers of Jesus, are His church, (temple of God are His people. fathered by God, and His Elect, gifted with the mind of Christ. Those to whom aren’t likely to be deceived. (See Matthew 24:22-26, Isaiah 42: 45:4-8; 65:9-10; 65:22-25; Romans 8:33-34 and Col 3:12-15.
Consider each apostles salutation. Particularly Peters, here and now.
(1Peter 1:1-2; From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad (in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen, “Elect” according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by His Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ’s blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!” (1Pet 1:3-9; Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is, reserved in heaven for you, who by God’s power, are protected through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. This brings you great joy although you may have to suffer for a short time in various trials. Such trials show the proven character of your faith, which is much more valuable than gold, gold that is tested by fire, even though it is passing away – and will bring praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. You have not seen Him, but you love Him. You do not see Him now, but you believe in Him, and so you rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, because you are attaining the goal of your faith – the salvation of your souls.)
Review The Gospel as defined above. (Its eternal life through the Son of God’s shed blood.) Blood sacrifices always looked forward to Jesus’ shed blood for the remission of sin. We all inherited eternal death through Adam’s disobedience, but followers of Jesus are gifted with eternal life, through our believing IN His shed blood for the remission of sin. This, Satan don’t want us knowing or believing. Review.
Satan said to Eve; Is it really true that God said, ‘You must not eat from any tree of the orchard’? The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit from the trees of the orchard; but concerning the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the orchard. God said, ‘You must not eat from it, and you must not touch it, or else you will die.’” The serpent said to the woman, “Surely you will not die, for God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will open and you will be like divine beings who know good and evil.” Gen 3:2-5 )
Satan is saying, “God lied, He don’t want you to know about the resurrections and a second death. (Review Rev 21:8) He wants us to believe “people are born immortal.” That people have the capacity to know good and evil in and of ourselves. The world has been believing that lie, and. manufacturing their own religions ever since. The writer of Hebrews shares Jesus’ good news. The book is about beginnings, the future, love, Jesus’ doctrine and faith. We can’t conjure up “knowing faith or believing IN faith.” We can’t choose to become a Believer, as in “being born from above - fathered” any more than we could have chosen our own fleshly parent or gender. Likewise, we can’t know or worship our Creator in spirit and truth, nor be submissive to His will, until, spiritually fathered by Him. (We can’t love God and desire a oneness with Him until He reveals His love in us.)
From our fleshly inherited from Adam outlook, we desire to please ourselves, fit in with family and community. Jesus teaches this is the broad way that the many are destined to adhere to. The Hebrews writer explains.
(Hebrews 1:1-5; God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He MADE the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said He at any time, “You are My Son, this day have I begotten You?” And again, “I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son?”)
Time frame between Jesus’ ascension and His return is defined as “the last days.” In these latter days spiritual knowledge has increased prophesied through Daniel. It seems that, only through God the Father’s Son. “Jesus” and only to this latter age is the knowledge of God’s master plan revealed to His chosen, “Elect.” Jesus’ revelations to John the apostle clarifies to Believers, “prophesies given through Daniel and others.”
Jesus has purged His followers’ sins by dying on our behalf and is now our ONLY Mediator to His Father. God the Father has created all things through God the Son, “Jesus.” (See John 1:1-5 and Colossians 1:15-20) Jesus is the Lord God revealed in the Old Testament! It was preplanned that Jesus would forsake His position, live in the flesh, shed His blood as a sacrifice for our sins and be our Savior. Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice Isaac looked forward to God the Father sacrificing His only begotten Son. All blood sacrifices looked forward to Jesus’ own.
Fulfilling all the prophets written about Him, “Jesus was begotten, “fathered” by God the Father, born to the virgin “Mary” live in the flesh, experience and learn from the things He suffered. He’s the Christian’s Shepherd, Savior, Brother, Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He was subjected to human temptations, yet without sin. Jesus gave of Himself, always being subject to His Father, became the ultimate sacrifice, allowing Himself to be crucified and the atonement for our sins. God the Father resurrected Jesus after allowing Him to spend three nights and three days in a tomb. “Jesus said, this would be the world’s ONLY sign given.” (Jesus was resurrected to eternal life by the power of God the Father, to be the firstborn among His followers. He is the Christian’s High Priest, Intercessor and Head of His Church. With the glory of God, the Father, Jesus is coming back to rule with power. When Satan is bound, all people will know about Jesus and submit to His Kingdom rule, “until Satan is released to go out and deceive again.” People Satan will be successful with will die a second death. (See Revelations 2:11 , 20:6, 10:14 & 21:8)
(Hebrews 1:6-12; And again, when He brings in the first-begotten into the world, He said, “And let all the angels of God worship Him.” And of the angels He said, “Who makes His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire.” But unto the Son He said, “Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.” (And, You, Lord, in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the WORKS of Your hands: they shall perish; but You remain; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shall You fold them up, and they shall be changed: but You are the same, and Your years shall not fail.) But to which of the angels said He at any time, “Sit on My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool?”)
These themes and quotations are from Deuteronomy, and a quote from Psalms 104:4. Jesus’ eternal position and His sacrifice for the sins of mankind was in THE master plan before Adam was created! The world cannot fathom such an awesome God, YET.
